When it comes to the end of the world and Jesus’ second coming, there appears to be considerable skepticism and ambiguity regarding what to expect when Jesus returns. The Second Coming of Christ

It is our belief that Christ will return a second time; Our Lord’s return from the heavenly realm will be personal, visible, and spectacular; it is a joyful hope for which we should keep vigilant and pray continuously. Prior to establishing His reign on earth, Jesus will return to gather His Church, an event known as the “Rapture” in the Christian community. Jesus’ return – the Second Coming

According to Christian belief, Jesus Christ will return at some point in the future, and when this occurs, everyone will be informed of it. His reappearance is referred to as the Second Coming. It will be a remarkable and unparalleled event in history, in stark contrast to his first appearance in Bethlehem as a defenseless infant. There are hints in the Bible about what it could be like, but there is no indication as to when it will occur. When is Jesus coming back?

Jesus will return in a short period of time. No one, however, is certain of the precise hour when Jesus will appear again. The Bible says in Mark 13:32, “But no one knows when day or hour it will be; not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father knows.” It’s interesting to note that the disciples asked Jesus the same question right before He ascended to the Father’s presence. At that point, Jesus informed them that it was not their responsibility to know the times or seasons that were under the jurisdiction of the Father.

As a result, what does this mean for you and me is unclear.

Keep an eye on Jesus and keep your attention on him because the devil is attempting to divert mankind’s attention away from the indications and the nearness of Jesus’ return.

Why is Jesus taking so long to come back?

Warnings about the second coming of Jesus?

There are a slew of confused non-biblical views concerning the second coming of Christ that are causing confusion among many believers. Will He merely present spiritually to a small number of people? Will Jesus’ second coming take place exclusively in specific geographical locations? Is it possible that Jesus will emerge in the desert? Deceptions will be perpetrated in the final days, according to Jesus. According to the Bible, Jesus will return eventually, and the world as we know it will come to an end at that time. There are many different beliefs and perspectives concerning the end of the world, but the Bible only provides a few specifics about what will happen. The Bible does not provide a clear response to the majority of issues. We are instead encouraged to be spiritually prepared for judgment at any time and to place our faith in God, knowing that He will make things right in the end.

Jesus Will Come Again

A continuous process of redemption is depicted in the Bible as God’s redemptive effort. Throughout the Old Testament, He directs His chosen people in the direction of righteousness and truth. Jesus’ first arrival marked the beginning of the last phase of the process of salvation, which would climax in the events surrounding His Second Coming. Final Judgment

We have every chance to repent while we are still alive, or until Jesus returns to take us home to be with Him (change our ways from evil to good). However, at the end of the day, we shall all be judged. Everyone, both the living and the dead who have been resurrected, shall be subjected to God’s judgment. Even individuals who claim Christianity will be evaluated on the basis of the acts they have committed during their lives (Matthew 7:21-23, 2 Corinthians 5:10). All of those who have led good lives will be awarded eternal life, while those who have lived evil lives will be sentenced to an eternity of suffering (Matthew 5:29-30, 25:31-46, Mark 9:43-48).

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the physical body and at home with the Lord rather than in the flesh.
Because we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may get what is due him for the things he has done while in the body, whether good or bad, while we are alive.

The New Heaven and Earth

The ultimate effect of the Second Coming will be the fulfillment of all of God’s promises to those who have believed in Him. In the end, Satan will be annihilated, and sin, pain, and death will all be eliminated from the world. And the devil, who had misled them, was cast into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had previously been cast. They will be tortured day and night for the rest of their lives. (New International Version, Revelation 20:10) “Just as the weeds are plucked out and burnt in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.’ ” It is the Son of Man who will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that leads to sin and everyone who is wicked in nature.

Then, in the kingdom of their Father, the righteous will shine brightly like the sun.

It appeared to me that the Holy City, or the new Jerusalem, was coming down from heaven from God, prepared as a bride who had been exquisitely dressed for her husband.

Each and every tear will be wiped from their eyes by him.

The Antichrist

(See also 1 John 2:18, 22, 4:3, and 2 John 1:7) The antichrist is defined as one who lies and deceives, denying that Jesus is the Christ. (See also 1 John 2:18, 22, 4:3, and 2 John 1:7) As at the time of the writing of 1 and 2 John, toward the end of the first century, numerous antichrists were claimed to be already existing in the world, according to traditional interpretation. It is unclear whether there will be another antichrist, but it is possible that his spirit is currently prevalent in the globe.

One or more groups have attempted to transform Bible predictions into propaganda at various points in history by announcing their own interpretations of the identity of the antichrist.

Such accusations, on the other hand, appear to be founded on little more than prejudice and hostility.

The Great Tribulation

The Severe Tribulation (Revelation 7:14) is a period of great suffering and anguish that will come in connection with the Second Coming of Christ. It will last for three years. It is frequently seen as a fulfillment of the prophesy of Daniel 9:24-27, which is found in the Old Testament. The Millennium

Those who believe in amillennialism see the millennium as a metaphor of our current period, in which the Church continues Christ’s ministry and the bound of Satan has already been completed by Jesus in the past. It holds that the millennium will be a future era during which the gospel message will abolish evil from the globe and Christ will rule spiritually for a thousand years before the Second Coming. Those who believe in premillennialism believe that the millennium will be a thousand-year era between the Second Coming and the last judgment. There are two subtypes of premillennialism that may be distinguished:

Premillennialism, as practiced historically, sees the millennium as the next step in the expansion of God’s reign, after the current era of the Church and preceding the appearance of the new heavens and earth. Dispensationalism considers the millennium to be a time period during which the promises made to the people of Israel in the Old Testament would be fulfilled. According to this point of view:

Israel’s establishment as a sovereign state in 1948 is evidence that the Second Coming of Christ is coming. Christian believers will be rescued before the Great Tribulation begins (see below), allowing them to avoid the wrath of God during that time of misery

The Rapture

The Rapture (as described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17) is the departure of faithfulChristians (the Church) to meet the Lord in the air, according to the Bible. In terms of when the Rapture will take place, there are three theories:

And after the Tribulation, the rapture occurs when the two prophets ascend to heaven (Revelation 21:11-12). The rapture will take place at the conclusion of the seven bowls (Revelation 16:17-21).

The Second Coming in Popular Culture

In recent years, the second coming of Jesus, the Rapture, and other Bible prophesies have produced a large business dedicated to these topics. The Late Great Planet Earth, written by Hal Lindsey in 1970, as well as the Left Behindseries by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, have been at the vanguard of this movement. Other resources include websites, television evangelists, lecture series, movies, and videos, among other things. In certain cases, Bible prophesies are embellished with inventive and colorful embellishments that are mixed with modern political and social views.

Greetings, Mr. Pawson. Your book, Unlocking the Bible, has been on my nightstand for the past 2 hours or so and has provided me with some excellent reading material. What I’ve read thus far is fantastic! I want to purchase the book, and when browsing your website, I was pulled to the section titled When Jesus Returns, which is a topic that is quite interesting to me. I’ve gone from believing that Jesus will come soon before the tribulation to believing that it would happen after the tribulation nearly without fail.

What to expect when Jesus returns

Religious hope, on the other hand, is often hazy and ill-defined these days. People have preconceived notions about life after death, and they have some idea of what it would be like in heaven. This type of nebulous hope may be OK on a greeting card, but what happens when a malignant tumor or a major heart ailment brings you face to face with the prospect of death? The most we can do is hold onto vague aspirations. You could be under the impression that religious optimism is always a shot in the dark.

Do you, on the other hand, believe that our Creator is scientific?
He is, without a doubt, capable of being precise and detailed when He chooses to be.
He is really specific.
The book of Revelation contains a significant portion of God’s magnificent image.
Additionally, it portrays that occurrence in numerous ways, such as a harvest or the invasion of a heavenly leader with His troops on D-day (see Revelation 14:14; 19:11, 14).
Christ is on his way to “‘rule for all time and all eternity'” (Revelation 11:15).

Jesus Return

What precisely is involved in Jesus Christ’s second coming? What is the significance of this event? Fortunately, the Bible provides us with straightforward solutions. Jesus is going to descend from the heavens in the same way that He ascended: clearly and tangibly (see Acts 1:11). “Every eye will see him,” according to the Book of Revelation (1:7). It was “the Lord Jesus, revealed from heaven in flaming fire with his strong angels,” according to Paul (2 Thessalonians 1:7). And Peter predicts that “the skies will vanish with a shout” and that “the earth will be consumed by fire” (2 Peter 3:10).

In tremendous might and great splendor, they will witness Jesus Christ as He rides upon the clouds of the sky” (Matthew 24:27, 30).
No one, however, will be able to duplicate the Second Coming.
The sky above us will erupt with ten thousand angels lifting their voices, and the brightness of God will shine through the clouds, and no one will be surprised as to who has come to call.
The secret-rapture idea is based mostly on biblical passages that talk of the Lord appearing as a thief in the night and bringing judgment on the world.
In contrast to this, scriptures that depict Jesus arriving in the form of a thief are found alongside those that depict Him arriving in a blaze of glory.
“With a roar, the skies will vanish, and the elements will be consumed by fire” (2 Peter 3:10).
It will take them completely by surprise.
When the skies erupt in a roar, there is nothing calm or intangible about it!
However, it will not be quiet, it will not be secret, and it will not be anything hazy and mystical in nature.

A new era has begun, marking the end of the old and the beginning of a completely new one, in which Christ’s disciples will be clothed with immortality. It is the moment when death, the ultimate adversary, is defeated (see 1 Corinthians 15:51-53).

Imagine a cemetery

As you can imagine, the scene will be as follows: a little cemetery on a windswept prairie, the soil cracks apart, knocking aside the flowers that a heartbroken mother had set on a gravestone. When the lid of a little coffin is opened, the sound of a baby’s wail may be heard. Instantaneously, an angel appears out of nowhere and takes the newborn into his arms. In the blink of an eye, he’s standing alongside his mother, who had been staring at the sky in startled stillness. She takes a deep breath and looks at her kid.

With every exhale, he struggled to catch his breath while fighting a lost battle against a terrible condition.

This mom, trembling, holds her baby close to her, her face too delighted to say anything.

And everywhere you look, you’ll hear shouts of recognition as loved ones who have been divided by sorrow come together again.

Believers begin to sense that their feet are no longer firmly planted on the earth.

Thousands of people are rising to meet the Lord of lords, the Prince of Peace, the Exceptional Counselor, the Good Shepherd, and the Author and Sustainer of all life.

What an indescribable feeling of happiness!

You may not believe that faith is vital.

God will separate humanity into two factions for all eternity at some point in the future.

The second coming of Christ will come as a terrifying surprise to those who are alive.

The second group will see it as a glorious deliverance, a culmination of all they’ve worked for their entire lives.

Yes, God, our Creator, will descend from outer space at some point in the not-too-distant future and make a magnificent appearance.

That is the hope that may take us above the gloomiest of days and out of the depths of the darkest night.

Not everyone wants to be reunited with their departed loved ones after they have risen to meet the Lord in the skies, but don’t you want to be one of them?
