How To Accept Jesus

How to accept Jesus into your heart

The song “My Jesus” by new artistAnne Wilson is becoming increasingly popular. ‘My Jesus,’ a book she co-wrote with Jeff Pardo and Matthew West, is a loving invitation to encounter her Savior in the same personal manner that she knows Him. Listen to Anne sing “My Jesus” with co-writer Matthew West in this incredible, intimate performance. What a lovely combination of vocals they have. How to Accept Christ — Prevailing In Christ Ministries

Did you know that God, through Jesus Christ our Lord, extends His gift of eternal life to each and every one of us? “God proved His love for us in that, while we were still separated from God because of sin, Christ died for us,” according to Romans 5:8. God did this for us because He loves us and desires for us to get to know Him more fully. He played a role in re-establishing our relationship with Him. He was the one who took the initiative. It is now His desire for everyone of us to individually embrace what He has done for us in our lives.

  • Allow God to know that He has not taken the first position in your life and ask Him to forgive you. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and He will forgive us our sins and purify us from all wrong.” 1 John 1:9
  • 1 Peter 3:9
  • 1 John 1:9
  • Believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins, that He rose from the dead on Easter, and that He is alive today. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
  • “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Accept God’s free gift of salvation by believing in him. Don’t try to earn it. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God – and not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
  • “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God.” Accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ as the director (“Lord”) of your life. “To all who receive Him, He gives the right to become children of God. All we need to do is trust Him to save us.” John 1:12-13
  • “All those who believe this are reborn!” “All those who believe this are reborn!” “All those who believe this are reborn!”

Having considered your options, are you ready to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior? You can offer God the prayer of this sinner if you like. I’m sorry, Heavenly Father, but I’ve done something wrong. I’d like to be forgiven for all of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and resurrected from the dead for my sins. Father, I entrust you with my life and ask that you use it as you see fit. I’d like to have Jesus Christ come into my heart. This is something I ask in the name of Jesus.

Congratulations!

What does it mean to accept Jesus as your personal Savior?

Answer Have you made a deliberate decision to follow Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? To correctly grasp this question, you must first comprehend the meanings of the phrases “Jesus Christ,” “personal,” and “Savior,” among others. What is the identity of Jesus Christ? There are many individuals who would recognize Jesus Christ as a nice guy, a wonderful teacher, or even a prophet of God. Even while these characteristics about Jesus are unquestionably accurate, they do not completely characterize who He is at His core.

  • To teach us, cure us, correct us, forgive us—and to die in our place—God came to this world.
  • He is the Son of God.
  • What is a Savior, and why do we require a Savior in our lives?
  • As a result of our sin, we are deserving of God’s wrath and punishment.
  • It is for this reason that we require a Savior!
  • Jesus’ sacrifice was an endless payment for our sins, and we owe him everything (2 Corinthians 5:21).
  • So that we would not have to, Jesus paid the price for us on the cross.

As a result, according to John 14:6 and Acts 4:12, Jesus is the one and only Savior!

Do you consider Jesus to be your “personal” Savior?

That is not the way Christianity works.

Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior entails putting your personal confidence and trust in Him on a personal level.

No one can be pardoned for some actions that they have committed.

This is the only way to be saved (John 3:16).

The following words should be said to God if you wish to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior: Remember that praying this prayer, or any other prayer, will not deliver you from your circumstances.

This prayer is just a means of expressing to God your trust in Him and thanking Him for His provision of forgiveness for your sins.

However, I believe that Jesus Christ endured the penalty I deserved so that I may be forgiven if I put my faith in Him and repent.

I embrace Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord!

Amen!” As a result of everything you’ve read here, have you made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour?

If you have embraced Christ today, please click on the “I have accepted Christ today” button to the right. Alternatively, you may utilize the inquiry form on ourBible Queries Answeredpage if you have any questions.

How to Accept Christ & Begin Living with Confidence

The subject of today’s post will have an impact on your life for the rest of your days. In fact, it will ensure that you will be able to breathe again. The fact is that this planet is not our permanent residence. It’s merely a sliver of what we can experience when we’re in our element. The life we lead decides whether or not we will go to paradise or hell. We will not be admitted into paradise only on the basis of our good deeds, but rather by embracing and living in the love of our heavenly Father.

  • Here, we learn that sin separates us from God, yet Christ came to earth to bridge the gap that sin has created in our lives.
  • Please understand that there is no such thing as a “perfect Christian” before making your final choice.
  • Even after the fact, you are not required to be flawless.
  • A lifetime journey, and if you sincerely seek God, He will accomplish a work in you that you will be able to see and understand.
  • But that’s all right, because I do, too!
  • Have you taken a deep breath of relief yet?
  • It is not required of you to be perfect.

The steps to accepting Christ are simple.

When I was in charge of summer Bible school for the teenagers at my church a number of years ago, we sang the corniest song to help us remember how to accept Christ as our Savior. I am not going to sing it for you, but I will write out the major elements for you to take away from it.

  • Recognize that you are a sinner
  • Believe that Jesus died for your sins and that he is alive and well today
  • Confess to Him that He is your Savior and Lord

Boom. Those are the first three letters in the acronym “accepting Christ.”

But let’s really dig a little deeper and see what it means to admit, believe, and confess.

Admit “.because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” the Bible states in Romans 3:23. To reiterate, we are all sinners and the difficulty we are experiencing divides us from God, who is sinless (1 Peter 1:16). It’s also a problem since there is a potential for punishment. There is a price to be paid for our sins, but Jesus paid the whole payment for us! He provides us with freedom at no cost. BelieveI am a fairly rational person, and I could never really deny the presence of God in my mind.

  1. There’s no doubt about that; nonetheless, there are moments when I have difficulty trusting that He is a good God who will come through for me.
  2. The Bible has an excerpt that serves as a reminder that we are not alone.
  3. The father approached Jesus and begged him if he could heal his kid.
  4. “Can you explain what you mean by ‘if I can’?” Jesus was the one who inquired.
  5. When Jesus noticed that the number of people watching him was increasing, he rebuked the wicked demon.
  6. Then I command you to go out of this child’s body and never to return!
  7. God will assist you if you turn to Him.
  8. He will see you through to the finish, and he will bring you through your trials and into a life of believing.
  9. You have the ability to go straight to our Father with anything.
  10. For a long time, a curtain separated worshippers from the presence of God on the throne.
  11. As a result of his actions, we can learn from him and seek for forgiveness for ourselves.

“If you will confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved,” says Romans 10:9, “you will be saved.” You must confess to God that you are committing to cease living your life for yourself and to begin living it for God.

What should I pray to receive Jesus in my heart?

A particular prayer is not required, although it is frequently said in order to finalize the transaction! To become a Christian, all you need to do is accept in your heart that Jesus is the Lord of all and make a decision to follow Him. That’s all there is to it! It is my hope that this video would be helpful to anyone who are desiring to accept Jesus as their Savior and are looking for a means to go about doing so. “The Sinners Prayer” is a frequent method used by Bible teachers such as myself to lead someone to faith in Jesus Christ.

It is your option – your choice – between Christ and yourself that counts!

Pray this:

Greetings, Lord Jesus! As a confessing sinner, I beseech You to pardon me and grant me Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and resurrected from the grave. I repent of my sins and welcome You to come into my heart and life. I thank You for Your forgiveness. “I want to place my faith and confidence in You as my Lord and Savior.”

Welcome to the family of Christ!

According to the Bible, 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV If anyone believes in Christ, he or she is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have been transformed into something new. That indicates that you are a complete novice! Put an end to carrying your shame, your struggles, and your past around with you. God want to set you free. His yoke is simple to bear, and his weight is light on his shoulders. He want to provide you with some relaxation. Some people have a strong desire to serve God right away, while others must wait a long time.

This isn’t just for a single instance; it’s for a lifetime.

How can I accept Jesus as my personal savior?

Acknowledging Jesus as your personal Savior requires a thorough grasp of who Jesus is, what aSavior is, and what it means to acknowledge Jesus as your personal Savior. Although Jesus Christ is frequently referred to be a good guy, the Bible states that He is much more than that. He is God manifested in the shape of a human being who has come to live on the planet (John 1:1). He lived, taught, performed miracles, suffered, died, and was raised from the dead in order to demonstrate that He is the Lord of the universe.

  1. A Savior is a savior, a redeemer, or someone who saves the life of another person.
  2. When we put our confidence in Jesus and believe in Him, He saves us from sin and eternal punishment.
  3. He is able to save us because He possesses the ability to pardon sins as well as the desire to save people who place their confidence in Him.
  4. It is to put your trust in Him.
  5. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whomever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life,” says John 3:16, in addition to the rest of the verse.
  6. If this is the case, make the choice and carry it out immediately.
  7. The following prayer, on the other hand, is one that you can use to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior: “Dear God, I recognize that I am a sinner and that I will never be able to achieve paradise on my own merits.
  8. Please forgive me for my sins and assist me in living my life in your service.
  9. I appreciate all you have done for me.” Have you made a decision to follow Christ as a result of what you’ve read thus far?

Prayer to Receive Jesus Christ as Savior

Choosing to accept that Jesus is who he claimed to be—the Son of God and the only route to salvation—and receiving him by faith as your Lord and Savior is the most important decision anyone will ever make. We are looking for life. He is the source of life. We are in desperate need of purification. He is the Source of All Living Water.

  1. I make the decision right now to turn away from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every aspect of my life that does not bring you pleasure.
  2. I voluntarily surrender myself to you.
  3. Let your love and life reign in my heart, and assist me to develop into a person who is genuinely loving, someone like you.
  4. Live inside of me.

  6. Amen.

How To Accept Jesus Christ – Salvation

Skip to the main content Salvation Benny Hinn Ministries2022-02-07T13:30:31-06:00 In what ways does it differ from being a Christian, a believer, or a follower of Christ? Some people believe that just attending a church, synagogue, or mosque will enough to qualify you as a Christian and ensure your entrance into paradise. Others believe it refers to being a kind and considerate person or a helpful neighbor. The Bible, on the other hand, points in a single direction at all times.

  • (John 14:6).
  • You may be interested in learning more about how to accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
  • Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, regardless of their background.
  • and how are they supposed to believe in someone they have never heard of?
  • And how else are they going to preach unless they are sent?
  • According to the Bible, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” From The Gospel of John 10:10.

In the book of John, verse 16, we read, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, “It is written, God longs have a relationship of friendship and connection with you.

  • With this sobering insight, we have an answer to the question.
  • He has created a means for us to receive an abundant and eternal life, yet throughout history, individuals have chosen self-centered decisions to disobey God Almighty and live in sin.
  • Because of our sin, God’s Word teaches us that the outcome is death.
  • In Proverbs 14:12, the Bible says And God said, “However, your crimes have separated you from your God, and your iniquities have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” — Isaiah 59:2 (New International Version).
  • “That God-shaped void,” as Augustine, a preacher who lived throughout the fourth and fifth centuries, described this need that exists in all of us.
  • However, they remain empty because only God, via His Son, is capable of filling that void.
  • Only He has the ability to bring us back into right relationship with God the Father.

He atoned for our sins and served as a mediator between God and people, bridging the gap between the two.

“For Christ likewise has once suffered for sins, the righteous for the wicked, that he may bring us to God,” we are also told.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and humanity, the man Christ Jesus,” the Bible says.

We read in John 14:6 that Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father except through me.” (Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life) The one method has been offered by God Almighty.

He did this by rising from the dead, therefore paying the penalty for our sin and disobedience against God.

This is a remarkable exchange: your worst for God’s best!

God’s Word is unequivocal in this regard: According to Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will enter in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” According to Romans 10:9, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

  1. Are you willing to let go of your responsibilities and sins
  2. Are you willing to repent? Are you willing to walk away from your misdeeds and repent of them
  3. If so, Now is the time to decide whether you will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Right now, you have the opportunity to recite the most significant prayer of your life by simply saying: “Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God.” I think You arrived on this planet 2,000 years ago. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and bled Your blood for my redemption, and I thank you for it. I think you have risen from the dead and advanced to a higher level of consciousness. I think You are returning to this planet for a second time. Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner.

  • Please cleanse me with Your precious blood right now.
  • Right now, please save my soul.
  • I accept You as my Savior, my Lord, and my God at this time.
  • From this point on, I am solely Yours to own.
  • I am a member of Your family, and I have been reborn.
  • In response to your reciting this prayer, admitting your sins, and taking Jesus Christ into your heart, God has granted you the privilege of being His forgiven child.
  • In the event that you have just accepted Jesus Christ into your life, we want to share your joy with you!
  • Jesus has taken up residence within you.
  • The change continues as you follow God’s instructions and put His precepts into practice in your daily life.
  • With each step you take in allowing Him to take charge, and with each decision you make to walk everyday in His obedience, you get closer to him.
  • Only He has the ability to bring us back into right relationship with God the Father.

If I Prayed to “Accept Jesus into My Heart,” Is That Enough?

There are many different ways in which the Bible speaks about starting a connection with God via Jesus Christ, therefore it may come as a surprise that nowhere in the Bible does it directly mention “prayer to accept Jesus into your heart.” On the contrary, the Bible promotes confidence and faith in the person of Jesus as well as in what he has accomplished through his death and resurrection. As an example, look at Romans 10:9–10:10 — If you believe in your heart that God resurrected Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved.

  1. Prayer is also not a “magical” practice in the traditional sense.
  2. Moreover, because prayer is simply communicating with God, it is an essential aspect of developing a deeper connection with God through Jesus Christ.
  3. It entails far more than merely agreeing with a set of truths about God and Jesus, as many people believe.
  4. It manifests itself in our life as proof (which the Bible refers to as “fruit”).
  5. During our talk, I inform you that a herd of 100 elephants passed through my backyard over the weekend, which you may find interesting.
  6. In fact, if you peered out into my backyard and didn’t see a single footprint or pile of droppings, you would be even more doubtful!
  7. Before he was arrested, Jesus spoke to his followers, telling them that everyone who abides in him will produce fruit (John 15:5).
  8. We continue to put our confidence in the Lord Jesus, and as a result, the Holy Spirit bears fruit in our life such as “love joy peace patience kindness and goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22).
  9. Another way of putting it is that when we witness the beauty and grandeur of Jesus, the Spirit transforms us, causing us to more clearly mirror the character of Christ (2 Cor 3:18).
  10. He complied in places where we had failed.
  11. He overcame death by rising from the dead on the third day.

Ascending to the right hand of the Father, he poured forth his Holy Spirit on all of humanity, bringing them into one body. By faith, we are able to experience everything that Jesus has done for us, faith that is used by the Holy Spirit to transform us into more like our Lord and Savior.

Get Saved Now ! How to accept Jesus Christ

My Friend: I’m sorry, but I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m about to ask you the most crucial question you’ll ever face in your life. Your response will determine whether you live in eternal bliss or eternal despair. Is it possible for you to be redeemed? If you are saved, it is not an issue of how good or bad you are, nor whether or not you belong to a church. Are you confident that you will enter Heaven when you die? It is necessary to be reborn in order to enter Heaven, according to God.

  1. His strategy is straightforward!
  2. How?
  3. The Bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
  4. “Because the wages of sin is death,” says the Bible (Romans 6:23).
  5. The Bible says, “.
  6. God, on the other hand, cared so much about you that He sent His only born Son, Jesus, to suffer your sin and die in your place.
  7. He has caused Him to be sin for us.

It was necessary for Jesus to bleed His blood and die.

17:11).

However, God displays his own love for us in this: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners.” (Romans 5:8 New International Version) God has stated that my sins and your sins have been thrown on Jesus, and that He has died in our place, despite the fact that we do not comprehend how.

It is correct.

God, according to my buddy, “commands all men everywhere to repent” (Acts 17:30).

‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ the Philippian jailer said in Acts 16:30-31, whereupon Paul and Silas responded, “.

When Jesus is accepted as Savior, his resurrection provides great assurance that the believer will be able to claim eternal life.

“For anyone will call on the name of the Lord will be saved,” the Bible says.

The phrase “shall be saved” does not imply “may be saved” or “may be rescued,” but rather “must be saved.” You must be aware that you are a sinner, don’t you?

As recorded in Luke 18:13, the sinner begged, “God, be compassionate to me, a sinner,” referring to himself as a sinner.

I believe that when Jesus died on the Cross, He was acting as my substitute.

I now accept Him as my personal Savior.

Amen.” Simply accept God’s word as truth and claim His redemption by faith.

You will not be saved by a church, a lodge, or any other good actions.

Everything’s all of it!

As a result, if you do not place your faith in Jesus Christ, who died in your place, you will spend forever in Hell.

“Surely, it can’t be that straightforward,” you reason.

It is based on the Bible.

Today, my friend, put your faith in Jesus and accept Him as your Savior.

Your soul is more valuable than all of the world’s resources combined.

(See Mark 8:36.) Make certain that you are saved.

Please!

Your salvation, preservation, and ability to live a triumphant Christian life will all be accomplished through God’s might.

Do not put your faith in your sensations. They are always changing. Hold on to God’s promises. They never seem to change. Following salvation, there are three things you should do on a daily basis to advance your spiritual growth:

  • When you pray, you are communicating with God. Read your Bible – God will speak to you via it. Witness — you speak on God’s behalf

To provide a public testimony of your salvation, you should be baptized in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ and then join a Bible-believing church as soon as possible. Therefore, do not be embarrassed of the witness which our Lord has given to thee.” (See 2 Timothy 1:8 for further information). If anybody then confesses Me before men, he or she shall also be confessed before My Father who is in heaven.” In Matthew 10:32, Jesus says: If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior or if you have any questions or issues about which you would need assistance, please contact us by phone or letter.

How Do I Receive Jesus

Do you want to know more about God? Interested in experiencing the presence, comfort, strength, and wisdom of the Lord on a more personal level? Because God loves you and desires to establish a personal relationship with you, this is a positive development. One thing stands between you and God, and it stops you from having a meaningful connection with Him. That something is called SIN. You and I both sin anytime we fall short of the Lord’s high standard and fail to live up to it. In truth, the Bible states in Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Furthermore, the Bible says in Romans 6:23 that the penalty for sin is death – eternal separation from God in a place called hell.

  1. No amount of good deeds, church attendance, or baptism will win us entrance into the kingdom of heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9).
  2. Jesus Christ lived a flawless, sinless life before dying on the cross in order to pay the penalty for our transgressions against him (Romans 5:8).
  3. His resurrection occurred three days later (1 Corinthians 15:4), demonstrating that He had defeated sin and death on the last day of the week (1 Corinthians 15:4).
  4. So, how do you get to know God?
  5. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus Christ establishes a personal connection with the Father and grants eternal life (Romans 5:10).
  6. In the event that you have not yet began your personal connection with God, remember that the One who created you loves you no matter who you are or what you have done in the past.
  7. The purpose of his coming was to summon sinners to repentance (Luke 5:32).

Use your own words or the following short prayer to tell Him what you want: Greetings, Lord Jesus!

I am a sinner, and I deserve to go to Hell.

I want to move away from my immoral way of life and follow you instead.

I have eternal life because of my confidence in You and in You alone, Lord.

Gratitude for providing me with the courage, insight, and drive to walk in the center of Your plan for my life is greatly appreciated.

If you have just finished praying this prayer, you should be congratulated!

Accepting Jesus Christ

Accepting Jesus as your personal Savior entails putting your personal confidence and trust in Him on a personal level. No one can be redeemed only on the basis of the faith of others. One must personally embrace Jesus as his Savior, trusting in His death as payment for one’s sins and His resurrection as a guarantee of eternal life before one can hope to be saved (John 3:16). Is Jesus Christ your personal Savior? God has such a deep love for you that He sent His Son to die for your sins. John 3:16 is a biblical passage that teaches that God is love.

All persons are born into a state of sin.

SIN SEPERATES US FROM GOD

The fact that God is Holy and without sin means that our sin creates a barrier between us and God. 3:23 (Romans 3:23) There is nothing we can do to earn our way into the kingdom of God. 4:4-5 (Romans 4:4-5) Only Jesus is capable of bridging the gap that exists between us and God because of our sinful nature. As a result of His death on the cross, we may now have a personal connection with the Father via Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 is a Bible verse that explains how to be a Christian. You should acknowledge your sinfulness to God and ask Him to assist you in turning away from your wicked nature.

Express gratitude to Him for bridging the gap that exists between you and God, and pledge to live your life for Him.

Following your acceptance of Christ, tell a trustworthy friend or family member about your decision, and get active in a Bible-believing church.

If you believe that the Bible contains truth about the way to salvation, but have not yet taken the step to become a Christian, it is as simple as praying this prayer for salvation.

Please, Lord, help me. I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I’ve done a lot of things that don’t sit well with you. I have spent my life only for my own satisfaction. I’m sorry, and I’m sorry again. I humbly seek for your forgiveness. Because you died on the cross for me, I feel that you were able to save me. You did for me what I was unable to accomplish for myself. I’m coming to you today to beg you to take charge of my life, and I’m giving it to you in exchange.

As a result of today’s events, please assist me in living every day for you and in a manner that pleases you. I adore you, Lord, and I am grateful that I will be able to spend all of eternity in your presence. Amen.
