SIGNIFICANCE: Lord Jesus Christ, who will live forever and ever, invites us to abide in Him as the finest friend anybody could ever hope to find.
Father, I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for everything you have done for me.
Whenever I think of the ideal buddy for me and for all others, the only person who can fully fill that position is Jesus.

No other person can truly fill that role.Several dictionary meanings of the word ″friend″ have been beneficial to me: (1) ″someone you are familiar with and who you treat with fondness and confidence;″ (2) ″a business colleague who lends his or her support or aid.″ In Jesus, the Friend Who Sticks Closer Than a Brother, I delight that he goes much beyond the definitions given for the word ″friend.″ I thank Him for being Almighty God, and for using all of Your strength and love to minister as the Friend of all friends to whom I belong.I give thanks to Him for never abandoning or forsaking those who put their confidence in Him, and for the fact that nothing can separate us from His love.Hallelujah!

It begins, ″What a Friend We Have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear!″ What an honor it is to be able to carry, everything to God in prayer!″ All of the followers of the Friend Who Sticks Closer Than A Brother should desire a deep love connection with Him and should seek to abide in the depth of His friendship, and I pray that this will be the case for me and all of them.
