1. To Do the Will of the Father

The reason for this is because I have come down from heaven to do the will of my creator, rather than my own. 6:38 (John 6:38) ″Therefore, I said to the Lord: ‘Behold, I have come to perform your will, O God, as it is written about me in the scroll of your book.’″ 10:7 (Hebrews 10:7)

2. To Save Sinners

Why Was Jesus Sent to Earth from Heaven? 12 Reasons

Summary: It has been about 50 years since I became a born-again Christian, and I don’t recall ever doing any in-depth research on this particular issue.It has been both intriguing and informative for me.I have faith in you as well.A range of significant reasons for Jesus’ mission from heaven to this planet are revealed in this passage.3:17 (John 3:17) In fact, God did not bring his Son into the world in order to condemn the world, but rather in order to rescue it through him.

1) Jesus came to earth with the mission of ″seeking and saving the lost″ (Luke 19:10).His desire is not to condemn, but rather to provide redemption to those who would accept Him as their Savior.In February 1969, I was an Air Force officer assigned at McChord Air Force Base in Tacoma, Washington, for a brief period of time.I had purchased a New Testament, and I found myself reading it night after night after night after night.

I was alone in my room on base when the truth of the Gospel was shown to me, and I freely embraced Jesus as my Lord and Savior on that same day.What may have happened to cause this?Why?Because Jesus, the glorious Son of God, left heaven and came to earth in order to seek and redeem Jim, a lost sinner who had sinned against God.And He did the same for each and every one of you!

———————————— 1 4:9 (John 4:9) God’s love for us was demonstrated in this way: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we can live through him.
2) Jesus was sent from heaven by God the Father to earth, where he died for our sins and rose from the grave, enabling us to pass from death to life (John 5:24).
From everlasting damnation in hell to eternal life in heaven, there is no turning back.
Moreover, Jesus makes this life available to any and all of us who would ″come to God in repentance and have confidence in our Lord Jesus Christ″ (Acts 20:21).
In the days before His death and resurrection, and a long time before ours, Jesus declared, ″Because I live, you will live as well″ (John 14:19).
Hebrews 2:15 says that He has rescued everyone who repent and trust in Him from the fear of death and has provided us eternal life in His beautiful presence (Hebrews 2:15).

And He does this via Jesus by…1) I am turning everyone of you away from your evil ways.Heaven is a realm of total, unwavering holiness, purity, and perfection on a scale that cannot be measured.In that place, there will be no wrongdoing.And, through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, God gives us the opportunity to begin partaking in heavenly holiness right here on earth by turning us away from our sinful nature.———————————— Luke 4:43 (NIV) ″I must tell the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities as well, for that is why I have been sent,″ he explained.

5) Jesus was sent into the world to proclaim the good news of God’s kingdom to all who would listen to him.
He began by saying, ″Our Father in heaven…
thine kingdom come…″ while teaching us how to pray.
(Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 6:9-13).
The following is a sample of what I pray when I pray the Lord’s prayer and come to this section concerning God’s kingdom: ″Lord, rule and reign in my heart…″, ″rule and reign in my house…
in my family…

in our church…in our nation…″ When it comes to John the Baptist, his first biblically documented preaching is: ″Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near″ (Matthew 3:2, NASB).″Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at near,″ was the message of Jesus’ first recorded public sermon: ″Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand″ (Matthew 4:17, NASB).

The Bible refers to the Lord Jesus Christ as ″Lord of lords and King of kings,″ which means ″Lord of lords and King of kings″ (Revelation 17:14; 19:16).When we serve Jesus right now, while we are still alive on this planet, we are serving the One who has received from God the Father ″all authority in heaven and on earth,″ and we are serving the One who has received ″all power in heaven and on earth″ (Matthew 28:18).Thy kingdom come!″ is what we pray to God the Father via Jesus.

And it is through the Person of Jesus Christ that the kingdom of God has arrived to this planet.

″There is a presence of the Lord upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the needy.
In order to declare release for prisoners and sight restoration for blind people, to set free the downtrodden and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, he has appointed me as his representative.
6) Jesus was sent by God the Father to bring good news to the oppressed and disadvantaged.
Before I heard and accepted the redeeming Gospel (also known as the ″good news″) of Jesus Christ, I was a lost and spiritually bankrupt man who had no hope in the world.

This good news was brought to us by God’s Son who came down from heaven to speak it to our ears and in our hearts.7) He was dispatched to the jail to proclaim the captives’ liberation.The Bible teaches that ″all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,″ and that ″all have committed sin″ (Romans 3:23).As a result, we were imprisoned and held hostage by our crimes, as well as all of the nasty habits that resulted from our evil dispositions.However, Jesus was sent to save us and set us free from those enslaving bonds of slavery.8) He was dispatched to assist the blind in regaining their sight.

This is definitely true spiritually, as the truth of God’s Word penetrates our hearts and minds, and we turn to Jesus Christ in faith and repentance, as the truth of God’s Word penetrates our hearts and minds.It holds true in terms of physical reality as well.During his time on earth, Jesus cured the blind, the deaf, the crippled, and people suffering from a wide range of diseases and ailments.And Jesus is still healing people today!Why?Because He ″is the same yesterday, today, and forever,″ as the Bible says (Hebrews 13:8).

He freed people from sin more than 2,000 years ago, and He continues to save us from sin in the present.Likewise, Jesus treated the sick more than 2,000 years ago, and He continues to do so in the twenty-first century.9) He was sent to release those who were oppressed.The Father sent the Son from heaven to earth in order to set us free from all forms of injustice and tyranny.

Are you suffering from stress, pressures, afflictions, or even life-threatening calamities?Look to Jesus for guidance.He was sent to free the downtrodden, and that includes you in the most emphatic terms!In order to declare the ″year of the Lord’s favor,″ he was dispatched.That favor from God is available to you right now.

They are available to you right now via Jesus Christ.
According to the apostle Paul, ″I tell you, this is the season of God’s favor″ (2 Corinthians 6:2), and we should take advantage of this opportunity.
What is the best way for me to receive God’s favor and blessings?
— ″No matter how many promises God has made, all of them are ‘Yes’ in Christ,″ says the author.

The King of kings and the Lord of lords descended from heaven to earth in order to serve us all.Examine this question: If Jesus, the Son of God and Savior, left heaven to serve us through His life, death, and resurrection for our redemption, how much more should we strive to be humble, willing, and self-sacrificing servants of the Lord and of our fellow human beings?———————————— 6:38 (John 6:38) In other words, I have not come down from heaven to do my own will, but rather to do the will of the one who sent me.12:49 (John 12:49) For I did not talk on my own initiative; rather, the Father who sent me instructed me to say what I have spoken.

12- Jesus was sent from heaven to earth in order to carry out the will of the Father as well as to utter the words of the Father.
″I don’t do anything for myself,″ he said (John 8:28).
Our Lord and Savior Jesus was completely dedicated to subordinating His own will to the will of the Father in heaven.
As a result, we should as well.
It is through our Lord’s flawless example that we may give fresh meaning to the prayer He taught us: ″Our Father who art in heaven…

thine will be done…″ (Matthew 6:9-10, King James Version) And, just as Jesus did, we should make it a point to ensure that our speech, our words, and our discussions are a reflection of God’s thoughts and heart.This demonstrates the critical need of consistently reading our Bibles in order to get progressively familiar with God’s thinking on a wide range of topics and to be able to communicate those heavenly thoughts in our everyday discourse.———————————— 17:18 (John 17:18) In the same way that you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world as well.20:21 (John 20:21) ″Peace be with you!″ Jesus said once again.

What was Jesus’ mission? Why did Jesus come?

Answer to the question Throughout Jesus’ life, He demonstrates that He was a man on a mission at various points.He had a goal, and he worked hard to see it through to completion.From an early age, Jesus realized that He ″must be about Father’s business.″ He was only a child (Luke 2:49, KJV).The final days of His earthly existence saw Jesus ″resolutely set out for Jerusalem,″ where He was well aware that he would be executed (Luke 9:51).It may be argued that the central aim of Christ’s earthly ministry was to carry out God’s plan of salvation for those who were lost.

″The Son of Man came to seek and to rescue the lost,″ Jesus said in Luke 19:10, referring to himself as ″the Son of Man.″ Jesus had just been chastised for visiting the home of a ″sinner,″ and he was feeling down.As a response, Jesus stated that His goal was to save those who were in need of salvation.It was not because of their wicked reputation that they should be avoided; rather, it was because of this reputation that they should be sought for.A number of occasions during Christ’s public ministry, He attempted to pardon people who were ostracized by the self-righteous authorities of the day.

She was at the well with her town’s Samaritans (John 4:39–41), and He went out of His way to find and save her (Luke 7:37), as well as one of His own disciples, Matthew, who had previously worked as a tax collector (Luke 7:38–39).(Matthew 9:9).″Eating with tax collectors and sinners″ (verse 11) was another criticism leveled against Jesus in Matthew 9, and once again, Jesus reacted by explaining His mission: ″I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners″ (verse 13).Jesus’ ultimate objective was to save people.He had set a goal for himself: ″I have given you honor on earth by completing the mission you sent me to perform″ (John 17:4).

Throughout the Gospels, we witness Jesus calling people to repentance and forgiving even the most heinous of offenders.
No one is too sinful to seek forgiveness from God.
In fact, as the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin (Luke 15:1–10) demonstrate, He actively seeks out people who have gone astray.
In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus teaches that people who come to God with a contrite heart will always be welcomed with open arms (Luke 15:21–22; cf.
Isaiah 57:15).
Even today, Jesus seeks out and saves individuals who come to Him in humility (Matthew 11:29; 18:3–4; Revelation 3:20), as He did before.

Three Reasons Why Jesus Came

The faint but identifiable lines to my favorite Christmas song could be heard as I went through the busy mall in quest of a few last-minute Christmas gifts: ″Joy to the world, the Lord has come.″ ″What is the true purpose for the season?″ I inquired of my five-year-old daughter Julianna at that point.Then she said, ″Jesus!″ without skipping a beat.She was absolutely correct.It’s not about the flashing lights, the beautifully adorned trees, or finding the ideal present this time of year.It everything comes down to Jesus.

But what is it about Jesus that so attracts people?What exactly is Jesus’ role as the cause for the season?The answer to this question can be found in the reasons that Jesus chose to come to this planet.To save you the trouble of asking why I believe Jesus arrived, I’ll simply let Jesus to speak for Himself.

Furthermore, they are statements that came directly from the mouth of Jesus.To be clear, Jesus did not come to restore social justice or world peace, as is often believed today.He didn’t only come to heal the ill or clothe the naked; he came to save the world.He didn’t even come to merely provide a good example for how to live a morally pure life; he came to do more than that.He had come for a very different reason.

So, what was the reason for Jesus’ arrival?
I’d like to share with you three of the reasons why Jesus was born in Bethlehem around 2000 years ago today.

Jesus Came to Give His Life as a Ransom for Many

After all, even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and he gave his life as a ransom for the sins of the world.
(Matthew 10:45) This chapter gets right to the core of the reason why Jesus had to come to earth.
He came in order to offer His life in order to rescue ours.
He was brought into the world in order to die for the sake of the world.
In Gal.
4:4–5, the apostle Paul explains how God sent forth his Son, born of a woman and born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, allowing us to be adopted as sons (adoption means being adopted as children).

Jesus is the one who redeems us.He takes care of our debt.But how can Jesus restore us to our rightful place?He pays the price with His life.Our scripture states that Jesus came to earth to offer His life as a ransom for the sins of the world (Christmas), and that He rose again to give His life as a ransom for the sins of the world (Easter).His blameless life was expected as a form of payment.

And that ransom payment was simply out of reach for you and me.

Jesus Came to Call Sinners to Repentance

″It is the ill who require the services of a doctor, not the healthy,″ Jesus responded.
Rather than calling on the virtuous, I have come to call on sinners to repentance.″ (See also Luke 5:31–32) Because we have a difficult time thinking about our sin—our disobedience against a righteous and holy God—Jesus employs an image that everyone can relate to: the cross.
It is he who speaks about bodily illness.
And in particular, He compares the sinner to someone who is physically ill and in need of medical attention.
We are all aware that illness, such as cancer, does not just go away if we do nothing about it.
It is possible to die if you do not seek treatment for a curable but fatal form of cancer while you are alive.

The doctor can only save your life if you go to him in the first place.Similarly, we are all sinners in dire need of redemption, which can only be obtained by repentance and faith in Jesus.We shall perish in our sins if we do not come to Jesus (John 8:24).Only Jesus is able to provide a solution—a cure—for our sin issue.That may appear to have a fairly limited scope.This is due to the fact that it is narrow.

However, the truth is always limited.This was something that my math students were fully aware of.I used to work as a full-time math and science teacher in a high school.The cube root of 27 is a number that I would expect a very precise response if I asked my pupils for it.Despite the fact that there are an endless number of alternative replies, only one of them can be correct.The correct response is number three.

All other numerical responses (for example, 4, 5, 6, 7) are incorrect.Jesus is the only one who can provide a lasting solution to our sin issue.″I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life,″ Jesus declared.

″There is no other way to the Father but through me″ (John 14:6).
″Salvation can be found in no one else, because there is no other name under heaven that has been given to mankind by which we must be saved,″ Peter declared while speaking about Jesus (Acts 4:12).
Allow me to foresee another possible counter-argument.
Someone could say to themselves, ″Well, Tim, maybe I’m like that healthy person who doesn’t need to see a doctor.″ ″I am the upright one who does not require rescue.″ However, the difficulty with this idea is that it is in direct conflict with both Scripture and personal experience.
″For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,″ according to the Bible’s teaching (Rom.

3:23).How many are there in total?That’s all there is to it.However, we also know this to be true in the absence of the Bible.Let alone the moral standards set by a totally holy deity, we are unable to live up to our own personal standards of conduct.Keep in mind that the ransom has been paid.

God has taken the first step in this process.Now, Jesus is calling on sinners to react to the act of grace that has been extended to them.All people are being invited to turn to Jesus and place their confidence in Him by Jesus.

Jesus Came to Give Eternal Life

As the Bible says, ″For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whomever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.″ (See John 3:16 for more information.) The gift of eternal life, on the other hand, is the most wonderful Christmas present someone could ever get.
Jesus came to provide eternal life to anybody who places their faith in him.
Eternal life is not something that happens by itself.
You don’t receive eternal life in the same way that you get hair.
It is only available to those who place their confidence in Jesus.
You have to put your faith in Him.

It’s only reasonable to wonder what will happen if I don’t choose to trust in him.″Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe will already be condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God,″ Jesus tells us.″Whoever does not believe in Him will be condemned″ (John 3:18).What does Jesus mean when he says that he has already been condemned?Sadly, the bad news is that we are all sinners, with death as the penalty for our transgressions.God is a perfectly holy and righteous Being who has no enemies.

He can’t let misdeeds go unpunished, no matter how bad they are.In fact, it would be unreasonable of God to let offenders off the hook without a fight.There are two alternatives: Either you can pay for your sins on your own, or you may put your faith in Jesus’ death to pay for your sins on your behalf.If you turn your back on God’s gift of redemption, you will face eternal wrath.If you accept God’s invitation, you will enjoy eternal life with him (Matt.25:46).

It is all up to you.However, please be aware that there is no third alternative.So, what was the reason for Jesus’ arrival?

This is what Jesus tells us.
He came to offer His life as a payment for the sins of the world.
He came to call on people who had committed sins to repent.
And Jesus came to provide eternal life to anyone who would come to Him in repentance and belief.
Consider these priceless spiritual insights as you approach the Christmas season.

Allow the reason for His coming to flood your heart with an inexpressible and wonderful pleasure that cannot be spoken.The entire globe rejoices.The Lord has arrived.

15 Reasons Why Jesus Came

(1) Jesus was SENT by the Father to be the Propitiation (or atonement) for our sins.
1 The apostle John writes in John 4:10, ″Here is love, not that we have loved God, but that he has loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Jesus was SENT by the Father, and Jesus was given as the Saviour of the world.
John 3:16-18 (KJV) ″In fact, God loved the world so much that he gave his only born Son, in order that whomever believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life with him.
Because God did not send his Son into the world in order to condemn the world, but in order that the world could be saved through him.

He who believes in him is not condemned; however, he who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not placed his faith in the name of the only born Son of God, Jesus Christ.″ c.The Father DESIRED that Jesus bless us by turning us away from our sins; Jesus did so.God, having brought up his Son Jesus and sent him to bless you by turning away every one of you from your transgressions, says in Acts 3:26, ″First to you, God,″ says the Bible.We were redeemed from the curse of the law because the Father SENT His Son to redeem us.But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, who was born of a woman and subject to the law, To redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.″Galatians 4:4-5 states that God sent forth his Son, who was born of a woman and subject to the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.″ A new power has been made available in the hearts of mankind by the sending of God’s Son; this power will enable him to fulfill the righteousness of the law.

″For what the law could not do because it was weak through the flesh, God, in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit,″ says Romans 8:3,4.

Why Did Jesus Come into the World? [All 12 Reasons]

If Jesus was God, why did he come to the planet in the first place, you might wonder.
A critical question has been raised.
Jesus, to his credit, responded to this question in 12 distinct ways throughout the Gospels.

There are twelve reasons why Jesus came to earth.

1) Jesus came to fulfill the law.

5:17 (Matthew 5:17) It is incorrect to believe that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to eliminate them, but to bring them to fruition.

2) Jesus came to divide.

Luke 12:51 (NIV) Do you believe that I have come to bring peace to the world? No, I tell you, but rather a divide of the people. 10:34 (Matthew 10:34) Do not imagine that I have come to bring peace to the world. Quite the contrary. I have not come to bring peace, but rather a sword to the table.

3) Jesus came to call sinners.

Mark 2:17 is a passage from the Bible that explains how to be a Christian. Those who are healthy do not require the services of a physician, but those who are ill do. I didn’t come to summon the virtuous, but sinners instead. Luke 5:32 (NIV) I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance, as some have claimed.

4) Jesus came to serve and give his life.

Mark 10:45 a.m. After all, even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and he gave his life as a ransom for the sins of the world.

5) Jesus came to proclaim good news.

Luke 4:18-19 is a passage from the Bible that teaches about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. ″There is a presence of the Lord upon me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the needy. To announce release to the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set at loose those who are oppressed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor,″ he has delegated this authority to me.

6) Jesus came to seek and save the lost.

Luke 19:10 (KJV) Because the Son of Man came to seek and to rescue those who had gone astray.

7) Jesus came that the world might be saved.

3:17 (John 3:17) In other words, God did not bring his Son into the world in order to condemn the world, but in order that the world may be rescued by him and his sacrifice.

8) Jesus came to do his Father’s will to keep, save, and resurrect believers.

6:38-40 (John 6:38-40) In fact, I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but to execute the will of the one who has sent me down.
The will of him who sent me is that I should lose nothing of what he has given me, but that I should raise it all up on the final day, and this is his desire as well.
In order to fulfill the will of my Father, I will raise him up on the last day in order that everyone who looks at the Son and believes in him may have everlasting life.

9) Jesus came for judgment.

9:39 in the Gospel of John In the words of Jesus, ″I came into this world for judgment, so those who do not see could become blind, and those who see might become blind.″

10) Jesus came to give abundant life.

10:10 (John 10:10) The thief is just interested in stealing, killing, and destroying. I come so that they could have life, and that they might have it abundantly.

11) Jesus came so believers may not remain in darkness.

12:46 (John 12:46) I have come into the world in the form of light so that whomever believes in me will not be kept in the darkness.

12) Jesus came to bear witness to the truth.

18:37 (John 18:37) Then Pilate asked him, ″So you’re a king?″ he said. ″You say that I am a king,″ Jesus said. ″You are correct. This is the reason I was born, and this is the reason I have come into the world: to give testimony to the reality of the situation. ″My voice is heard by everyone who believes in the truth.″

Did Jesus come to bring peace on earth?

Answer ″For to us a child is born, and to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders,″ Isaiah declares of the birth of Jesus hundreds of years before it really occurred.
And he will be referred to as ″Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace″ among other titles (Isaiah 9:6).
As a result, Jesus is known as ″the Prince of Peace.″ The angels announce the good news to the shepherds on the night of Jesus’ birth, emphasizing once more the peace that Christ would bring: ″Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward mankind″ (Luke 2:14, KJV).
However, in Matthew 10, Jesus appears to minimize His position as Prince of Peace, warning His followers of the difficulties they would experience throughout their ministry: ″Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.″ My purpose is to turn ‘A man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter in law against her mother in law,’ as the saying goes.
The members of a man’s own family will be his greatest adversaries.″ (See verses 34–36.) When people think of ″peace on earth″ at Christmas time or see slogans advocating ″world peace,″ they are most likely thinking of a different kind of peace than the one that Jesus Christ brings.
Although Jesus Christ is known as the Prince of Peace, most people do not associate His peace with the kind of peace that most people think of when they hear the phrase ″peace on earth.″ There are a variety of various fronts on which hostilities are raging right now, and there are a variety of different sorts of peace that our planet desperately needs: There is an internal disagreement.

Doubts, worries, and uncertainties are plaguing people all around the world at the moment.They are in desperate need of inner tranquility.Mental health doctors warn us that the Christmas season, which is traditionally associated with ″peace on earth,″ is frequently one of the most dismal times of the year because expectations are not satisfied and stress is multiplied.Interpersonal conflict is a difficult situation to be in.People are in a constant state of conflict with one another.There are family problems, disagreements with coworkers, and, on occasion, even confrontations with complete strangers to contend with.

Crime, racism, abuse, and violence are all things that happen on a daily basis.The high prevalence of divorce reflects the tensions that exist between men and spouses.Individuals frequently disappoint one another and fail to meet expectations during this season of ″peace and goodwill.″ Family tensions are sometimes exacerbated when people
