They are really mistaken, and they are not complying or following the commands of Jesus or his apostles. God does expect his followers to fulfill his commandments (John 14:15; 1 John 2:3–4), the most important of which is to love him and to love others (the greatest commandment) (Galatians 5:14; James 2:8). As stated in the Bible, those who do not follow his commands or who are unloving towards others do not know Jesus (1 John 3:6; 1 John 4:8).

Reading his word (the Holy Bible) is the best way to find out for yourself. This is how you will become acquainted with him (Romans 10:17). It was through reading God’s word that I fell in love with him, and it is the most romantic narrative ever written.

The Bible Clearly Tells Us How to Be Saved

As you read, I believe you will be startled to learn exactly how incorrect the religious world can be, and, unfortunately, how many people actually do not know Jesus and are teaching and preaching false doctrines and doctrines contrary to the Bible. The Bible cautions against a second Jesus as well as false instructors (2 Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:6-7; 2 Corinthians 11:13; 2 Peter 2; 1 John 4:1; Matthew 7:15). He longs to be merciful and for us to come to know who he is (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 12:7). As a result, he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us and pay the penalty for our sins, so enabling us to be rescued from their consequences!

Who is Jesus Christ?

1. Hear

When he asked what they said, they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household will be saved” (Acts 16:30-31). “He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned,” Jesus also warned (Mark 16:16).

Faith can only be gained via hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17).

Hebrews 11:6 further informs us that we cannot please God unless we believe.

3. Repent

Third, in order to be saved, one must repent of his or her sins (Acts 17:30-31). “Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be taught in His name to all nations, beginning with Jerusalem,” Jesus stated in the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 24:47). A person’s repentance is the outcome of feeling sad for his or her sins (2 Corinthians 7:10). They were “cut to the heart” when they discovered, through Peter, that they had crucified the Son of God on Pentecost Day (Acts 2:37). It was because they want to be pardoned of their faults that they inquired, “What must we do?” Their instructions were as follows: “Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” (See Acts 2:37-38.) When someone repents, he or she is turning away from their misdeeds (1 Thessalonians 1:9).

4. Confess

Fourth, one must admit that Jesus Christ is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and that one believes in him (Matthew 16:16). In fact, this tremendous truth serves as the basic basis upon which the church of Christ is constructed (Matthew 16:18; Acts 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 3:11). According to Jesus, if we want Him to confess us to the Father, we must be prepared to confess Him to others as well as to ourselves (Matthew 10:32-33). “However, what does it say?” the apostle Paul inquired. In other words, the word of faith that we teach is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Matthew 16:16).

“I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,” the eunuch admitted after that moment (Acts 8:35-38).

5. Be Baptized

Fifth, in order to be saved, one must be immersed in water. The words of Jesus were, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16). Please keep in mind that baptism comes after believing. A person who does not believe in the Gospel cannot be authentically baptized in the Christian faith. As a result, babies cannot be baptized because they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The way to be saved – Why does mankind require salvation? The most essential mission of each human existence is to figure out how to be rescued. This journey begins when a man or woman discovers their genuine status in the presence of a holy God for the first time. When Adam and Eve broke God’s mandate in the Garden of Eden, they forfeited the personal and lovely fellowship that the Father longed for with man, the crown of His creation. Adam and Eve forfeited their privilege to eat from the tree of life, which would have given them the ability to live forever if they hadn’t sinned.

From this day forward, I invite Jesus to take over as Lord of my life and to rule and reign in my heart as my Savior and Lord. Please send your Holy Spirit to guide me in obedience to You and in carrying out Your will for the rest of my days. “I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.”

In the name of Jesus Christ, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in his name for the forgiveness of sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). If you have decided to accept Jesus as your Savior today, you are now a member of God’s family. After then, the Bible instructs us to follow through on our pledge as a means of becoming closer to Him.

We will all go through periods of backsliding, but we will also always confess and repent when we fall short. If we do not repent of our recognized faults, we are not truly a Christian

Water baptism is only a symbolic gesture by which you demonstrate to the rest of the world that God has taken you out of death and into life through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. You may believe that you are a decent person, but simply being good is not sufficient! No one is without sin, and there is no one who is righteous in the eyes of God! “For there is not a righteous man on the face of the earth, who does good and commits no vice” (Eccl. 7:20). All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, as the Bible states (Rom. 3:23).

Jesus Christ is the Only Remedy for Sin!

Jesus Christ is the only one who can provide a solution for sin. We will never be good enough to enter into paradise, and our good actions will not bring us there either. There was no other way for God to undo the consequences of sin other than via the shed blood of Jesus. How Do I Get Saved?

Did you know that the Bible states that our Lord and Savior God wishes that all mankind be saved? This includes you as well. But you could think, “Why do I need to be saved?” you might query. You could even say to yourself, “I’m not that horrible.” I’m not in need of rescue. Actually, everyone needs to be saved since we are all fallen human beings who need to be rescued. We’ve all done things that were wrong, without exception. Romans 3:23 states that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This is according to the Bible.

• God’s right to condemn sinners is based on His holiness and righteousness.
• So, according to God’s judgment, our sins have separated us from God today, and once we die, we will suffer perdition for all of eternity.
• It is only because of God’s great love for us that He has provided a means for us to be rescued.
• On the cross, Jesus, as the spotless Lamb of God, bore the penalty for all of mankind’s sins and was crucified in their place.
• Jesus Christ is alive and well today in the resurrection, and He has become a life-giving Spirit.
• They have been delivered from all separation from God, and they have been redeemed from everlasting condemnation.
• The number of wonderful things that may happen when someone is rescued is endless!
• God’s side of the story is that He has done all possible to save us.
• To repent simply is to make a 180-degree turn or to alter our minds.
• As a result, to repent means to refocus our attention away from everything else and onto God.
• Aside from that, we must believe that Jesus is our Savior, who died in our place and shed His blood on the cross in order for us to be forgiven of our sins.

According to Romans 10:9-10, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” As a result, faith in righteousness is expressed through the heart, and confession in salvation is expressed through the lips.” It is necessary to openly profess with your lips that Jesus is Lord in order to be saved.

The Six Steps

A heartening feature of God’s providence is the way in which He assists us in keeping His commandments. When it comes to asking the biggest question in the history of mankind, it is no exaggeration to claim that “What must I do to be saved?” is the most important question anybody has ever asked. To know what God would have us do, we must first ask. Nothing we accomplish on our own initiative, or without God’s permission, will be fruitful or effective. What Jesus Himself Teaches About Salvation

Following solely Jesus’ own words, this lecture discusses the principles of salvation that the Lord Himself taught about. 28min Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teachings of Christ does not have God; nevertheless, the one who abides in the teachings has both the Father and the Son; anyone who does not abide in the teachings does not have God. – II – 1 John 1:9 (New International Version) The most essential conversation we can ever have with someone is the one that deals with the question of salvation – specifically, how does one become a Christian.

Even within Christianity, not all adherents believe in the same thing when it comes to the nature of redemption.

Due to the fact that not everyone believes the same thing about salvation, let us study what Jesus Himself teaches about salvation using just His words spoken on the subject in order to clarify the matter in our own thoughts and therefore speak with one voice and one message.

I believe that by doing so, we will be able to put aside what is customary, what is popular, and what is unpleasant, and concentrate only on what Jesus truly stated about salvation. That was uttered by Jesus.

One must come to Him for salvation

The first and most important thing that one must do in order to be saved is to turn to Christ; no other person or object can achieve this for them. At the end of Acts 4:12, Peter affirms the exclusivity of the Christian religion, stating that there is no space for anybody other but Jesus Christ. The only other person who can provide us with salvation is Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.” As a result, no one else in history has ever done for mankind what Christ has done in terms of salvation and redemption.

No one else has promised his followers a conscious, joyous, guaranteed, and eternal existence, and no one else has performed miracles to back up those claims more than Jesus Christ.

That was uttered by Jesus.

Faith is necessary for salvation

9His followers started to interrogate Him about the significance of this tale. tenAnd He added, “To you, it has been permitted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; nevertheless, to the rest, it has been revealed in parables, so that they may not see and hear and understand.11″Now the parable is as follows: the seed represents the word of God. 12 These are the people who have received the word; yet, the devil comes and snatches the word away from their hearts, so that they will not believe and be saved.- Luke 8:9-12 As soon as we know that salvation is found only in Christ and that it can be obtained only through Him, we must trust that everything He says is correct.

Jesus shows us the utmost respect as human beings by enabling us to use our free choice in matters of salvation, and by including faith as one of the requirements for salvation (You need free will to believe).

God the Son achieved everything on the cross, yet the Divinity of God gives opportunity for our faith to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Jesus declares that in order to be saved, we must first believe!

Repentance is necessary for salvation

5When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6And he rushed and came down and welcomed Him warmly. 7When they saw it, they all began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.” 8Zaccheus stopped and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my possessions I will give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will give back four times as much.” 9And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham.

Repentance is not just sorrow for past sins but a change of attitude about sin in general.

Jesus sums up the attitude inMark 8:34-35.

Although painful, repentance is the joyful experience of seeing our old life slip away as we desire more and more to know and do and be only what Christ wants us to know and do and become.

A person can talk about Jesus and his faith but unless his action in big a little things demonstrates a real change what is claimed as faith is nothing more than false piety. In Luke 13:3 Jesus said, “. unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”. That was uttered by Jesus.

You must be baptized for salvation

It is only those who have believed and been baptized who will be saved; however, those who have disbelieved will be damned. – Matthew 16:16 Self-denial begins with immersion in the waters of baptism, which is the first step. Baptism is required for salvation for a variety of reasons, including the following:

• Our sins are forgiven when we are baptized. -Acts 2:38
• We receive the Holy Spirit at the time of baptism. -Acts 2:38
• When we are baptized, we are welcomed into the church. -Acts 2:47
• We put on Christ when we are baptized. The Bible says that we are saved at baptism (Galatians 3:26). The Bible says this in I Peter 3:21.

For the sake of simple logic, it follows that in order to be saved, one must first be forgiven and then receive the Holy Spirit, become a member of the church, and finally, be in Christ. If all of these things occur at baptism, then baptism is required for salvation because these things do not occur without baptism and we cannot be saved unless these things occur. However, the most important reason why baptism is required for salvation is that Jesus mandates it, and He commands it in conjunction with one’s own personal salvation in the first place.

While it is true that we are saved by faith, that faith must be expressed via our will, and Jesus teaches that this manifestation of our will / our faith is done by baptism.

Jesus stated that this was necessary in order to be saved.

You must endure to the end

Because of My name, you will be despised by everyone, but it is the one who has persevered to the end who will be rewarded with salvation. The Bible says in Matthew 10:22 Throughout this text (as well as Matthew 24:33; Mark 13:3-23), Jesus is instructing His followers on two apocalyptic catastrophes that occurred:

• Apocalyptic events such as the destruction of Jerusalem, which would occur within their lifetimes His second coming, which may occur at any time
• And his resurrection.

The lesson for both occurrences, however, was the same: only those who remained faithful until the end would be rescued, regardless of the circumstances. He attempted to prepare them for what was to come by revealing some of the hardships they would have to experience in these chapters. His disciples will be subjected to the following:

• Persecution, brutality, and suffering
• Family disintegration
• False instructors and hypocrites are around. Unrest in the social and environmental spheres
• Many members of the church have demonstrated unfaithfulness and a lack of love.

These things, however, are not legitimate reasons for drifting away (as many believe, believing that God would overlook their unfaithfulness because they have a good justification – No, these things are and always will be hurdles we must conquer in order to achieve the goal). It is only those who complete the Christian race who are saved.

Why this sermon?

My guess is that the majority of those in attendance today were aware of what I had to say, but I wanted to double-check three things:

1. Ensuring that everyone is completely convinced of what Jesus Himself has to say about redemption – both for their own souls and for the souls of others with whom they will come into contact ensure that our congregation and any those who come to visit us are aware of our fundamental teachings on this fundamental topic, so order to avoid any misunderstandings about our theology
2. And As a method of pushing individuals present today to examine themselves and determine whether or not they have been saved, and if they have not, to take steps to rectify the situation

If you haven’t already, put your faith in Christ and profess His name. If you haven’t already, repent of your misdeeds. If you haven’t already, get baptized (immersed in water). Be faithful, or if you haven’t been faithful in the past, get back on track. For the last reason, I’d want to urge everyone who is reading this to ask for prayer if they are in need of assistance from the church or to identify with this congregation if they are interested in extending the hand of fellowship to those who are listening.
