Giveaway and Rewards Marketing Tips
Is your Ministry planning to entice your target audience with a free giveaway or prize?
- First tip: Don’t keep it a secret offline. Include reward, giveaway, or prize information on print ads, cards you can pass around or stickers you can put up in your office or church windows. Make sure it is easy for people to ‘see’ the program you’re offering.
- Second tip: Promote the program. See if your local newspaper or radio station will cover it. Plan a series of updates to share on your social network pages/profiles. Ask related ministries to share it on theirs too! Make sure you’re available to answer any engagement you receive. And don’t forget about your website. Use it to promote your program too.
- Third tip: Incorporate mobile. If you have a mobile enabled website (and you should), make sure the link to your program is there and easy to access. If you send SMS texts to subscribers include a bit about the program there too.
Social media is a powerful way to get the word out about your products, services, and offerings. But it’s not the ONLY way. Take advantage of every area you can to boost your brand awareness and connect with your target audience.
