11 Bible verses to pray when you don’t know what to say

Ashley Thrift is a thrift store owner.Have you ever felt that you were at a loss for words? What happens when you have a conversation with God?You have a sense that a conflict is building within you. You’re experiencing difficulties, but you’re at a loss for what to say in prayer as you call out to God for assistance. Here is a short selection of prayers from the book of Psalms that you might keep on hand for those times when you simply don’t know what to say:

1. When you can’t sleep, pray Psalm 3:5.

″I lie down and sleep, and then I wake up again because the Lord provides for me,″ says the author. There are a variety of reasons why people have restless nights.David might have spent many sleepless nights as his son organized an army to attack him, but he chose to sleep comfortably instead. His prayer to God resulted in his falling asleep peacefully during a difficult period.Pour out your heart to God and rest quietly in the knowledge that He is in complete charge of your situation.

2. When you need help with negative thinking and speaking, pray Psalm 19:14.

What if God took a look at your thoughts and words and found them to be pleasant in His sight? Would God be happy with your words and thoughts if He first investigated them? Would God be satisfied with your thoughts and words if He first examined them? Ask God to provide his blessing on your ideas and words before you speak them, just like David did.

3. When you need guidance from God, pray Psalm 25:4.

″Show me your ways, Lord, and show me your pathways,″ says the poet. The desire to receive direction from God is the first step toward obtaining it.The Bible and the Holy Spirit are the channels through which God provides direction.By praying this prayer and seeking advice from God’s Word, we can benefit from God’s knowledge and direction for our lives rather than demanding our own solutions.

4. When you are afraid, pray Psalm 27:1.

″The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom will I fear?″ says the author of the song.″Whom will I be frightened of because the Lord is my stronghold?″ says the Lord.Fear is a connection that may bind us to our own self and make us feel trapped. We have all experienced fear at some time in our lives, whether it was a fear of rejection, a fear of making the wrong decision, a fear of being injured emotionally or physically, a dread of mortality, or anything else. The good news is that we serve an incredible God who turns the darkness of terror into the brightness of redemption.Trusting in God will help you overcome your fears.

The desire to receive direction from God is the first step toward obtaining it.

5. When you are sad or brokenhearted, pray Psalm 34:17-18.

″When the righteous call out to the Lord, he hears them and saves them from all of their difficulties.″ ″The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and he saves those who are crushed in spirit,″ says the Bible. It doesn’t matter if you’re suffering from sadness, loss, sorrow, or failure; God pledges to be there for you. He is the source of our recovery.

6. When you need to repent of sin, pray Psalm 51:1-2.

″According to your boundless love, have mercy on me, O God; according to your vast compassion, forgive me all of my faults.″ ″Wash away all of my sin and purify me from my transgression.″ God is a kind and forgiving God. It doesn’t matter how bad your sin is, He will forgive you.

7. When you need to refocus, pray Psalm 51:10.

God, create in me a pure heart and revive a sturdy spirit inside me, I beseech you. When we pray for God to purify our hearts, we are filled with a renewed desire to do His will.

8. When you need to feel God’s protection, pray Psalm 61:2-3.

″I cry to you from the ends of the world, I call when my heart begins to fail me; guide me to the rock that is higher than I.″ Because you have been my sanctuary and a sturdy fortress against my adversary.″ God will never forsake us; His all-surpassing power is always with us, and it is all that we truly need in this life.

9. When you simply want to praise God, pray Psalm 70:4.

The Lord is great, and may all who seek you rejoice and be joyful in you; may those who desire for your rescuing assistance continually exclaim, ‘The Lord is great!’″ David did not fail to give thanks to God, even while he was in the midst of a panic. It is through praise that we are able to recall who God is and what He has done for us and others. As we plead with God via prayers and petitions, we may also give Him praise for the wonderful things that He has done in our lives thus far.

10. When you face temptation, pray Psalm 141:4.

″Do not let my heart to be lured to what is wrong, so that I become complicit in terrible activities.″ In the same way as David did, ask God to keep your heart safe. It is possible for wicked desires to manifest themselves in evil deeds.

11. When you want to seek out God’s will, pray Psalm 143:10.

I pray that you teach me to accomplish your will, for you are my God, and that your kind spirit guides me on level ground. Let us pray to learn God’s will and not rely on our own understanding, like David did.

5 Verses to Pray When You Don’t Know What to PrayCounting My Blessings

I can vividly recall the sensation as if it had happened only yesterday.I really wanted to pray, but the screams of my heart were making it hard for me to express what I needed to say verbally.″I need you to come and pray with me,″ I wailed as I dialed Rev’s number. And my prayer partner, as well as my life companion, arrived and gave words to our cries. If you’re dealing with personal, national, or international issues…not it’s always easy to know what to pray for.It seems like the enemy of our souls is on a rampage virtually every time I turn on the news or go through my social media feeds, and I have to say that this is a feeling I get almost every time.

That we feel powerless and even despairing at times, especially when we can’t find the words or don’t know what to pray, shouldn’t come as a surprise.Possibly, this is one of such occasions for you.If that’s the case, come along with me…I’m praying for God’s Word of hope and promise to be fulfilled.

5 Verses to Pray When You Don’t Know What to Pray

Psalm 143:1

Please pay attention to my petition, O Lord; pay attention to my appeal!Answer me because You are a trustworthy and righteous person.Father, Your Word teaches me that You are love.I believe this.It tells me that You want me to come to You with my prayers, which I understand. As a result, I come to You with tears in my eyes and a voiceless cry.

I’m in desperate need of You!It is my belief that You are trustworthy and righteous, just and true.I give this to You, Lord, as a gift. Please give me the bravery and strength I need.

Please assist me.Please assist us.Amen.

Psalm 3:3–4

Nevertheless, you are a shield around me, O Lord, and you are my glory, the one who lifts my head above the others.I cried out to the Lord, and He responded to me from His holiness mountaintop retreat.Father, I have faith that You are with me.I think You are watching over me and protecting me.Even when life seems fragile and I’m afraid, I put my trust in You to keep me safe and protected. When I cry out to You, remorseful of the countless ways we have failed You, ways I have failed You, I am pleading with You to forgive me…

Dear Lord, You have gently lifted my face and directed my gaze toward You.You are the Rock, and you give me the strength to face the world.Thank you very much.Amen.

Romans 8:26

In addition, the Holy Spirit assists us in our times of weakness. We are unable to pray as effectively as we should. However, the Spirit Himself communicates with God on our behalf, even pleading with God on our behalf with profound sentiments that words cannot express.Father, this scripture is one of my favorites.I am a helpless victim. My heart is heavy, and I’m not sure what to pray for or how to pray.

But Your Spirit is there to assist me.He comes to You and expresses my needs, even when I am unable to articulate them myself. Please, Spirit, intercede for me.You’re well aware of my yesterday, today, and the day after that.

You’re the one who knows what’s best for me.You are aware of the apprehensive thoughts that accompanied my silent prayer. You haven’t learned anything new. There’s nothing too challenging here.Thank you so much for your prayers for me.Thank you so much for caring about me.

Thank you for the tranquility that is beyond comprehension that You provide.Amen.

Ephesians 1:19–20

My prayer is also that you would come to appreciate the enormous magnitude of God’s power for those of us who trust in Him.Christ was raised from the dead by the same strong power that placed Him in the position of honor at God’s right side in the celestial regions, and this is the same power that resurrected Him from the dead. For You, Father, there is nothing that is impossible. You have the ability to make a difference in your life. You were the one who resurrected Jesus from the dead.Despite the fact that my current circumstances are terrible, they are not beyond Your control and love.

Consequently, I come to You in the Garden, saying Jesus’ petition, ″Abba, Father,″ which He shouted out, ″anything is possible for You.″ Please take this cup of agony away from me.I’m begging you.″However, I prefer that your will be carried out rather than mine.″ (Matthew 14:36) I put my faith in Your plan for me.Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Amen.

Jude 1:24

Now, all honor and glory to God, who is able to preserve you from going away and will bring you into His beautiful presence without a single flaw or error.Father, I thank You for everything. In situations where things look fragile and unclear. When the enemy attempts to instill doubts in my mind, I turn to You for help.Take away my uncertainties and concerns, please.Grasp my tears in my hands and keep them close.

As I look forward to the future You promised so long ago, fill my heart and mind with hope and joy through your grace. This is only a brief pause on the road to my eternal existence in Your presence. You are my promise, both now and in the future.Thank you very much.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.Never give up on your prayers.1 Thessalonians 5:17 (New International Version) When you have the ability to speak, and even when you don’t, pray.Your Father has a soft spot for you.He is aware of your presence. He will hear and respond to the screams of your heart.

8 Things to Pray When You Don’t Know What to Say

Prayer may be intimidating and stressful for people who are new to their religious beliefs. What is the best way to communicate with God?What exactly does that imply? Are there any specific things I should say?Is there anything I’m not permitted to say about a certain subject? Is there a pre-written prayer, or do I have to write one up on the spot?

Even for individuals who have been in a relationship with the Lord for a long period of time, prayer can be difficult for a variety of reasons, including lack of time.It might get stale, feel worthless, fall by the wayside, or just appear to have lost its potency over time. So, what do we do when we are in need of new prayer words? What steps can we take to re-energize our prayer lives?

Here are a few suggestions!Pray while reading portions from the Bible. The book of Psalms is a great place to start because there are psalms for every emotion we experience, including when our souls are troubled (Psalm 6), when we are filled with joy (Psalm 30), when we are praising His deeds (Psalm 66), when we desire revival (Psalm 85), when we need help (Psalm 109), and for every other emotion we experience as well. Here are five more potent prayers that come directly from the pages of Scripture.Pray using the words of hymns or contemporary modern music as your inspiration. So many hymns are derived from the Bible, and the lyrical way in which songs communicate topics of our religion is a great way to express ourselves in prayer.

You may discover a comprehensive variety of hymns and contemporary worship music videos on this website.Journaling is a good way to pray. The practice of recording my prayers, no matter how meandering or strange they may seem at the time, has proven to be tremendously beneficial for me in terms of staying focused on what I’m saying and working through my emotions. When you record your prayers, you will have the extra benefit of being able to go back over them and see how the Lord has answered and worked in your life.

  1. While focusing on a single word, say a prayer.
  2. If the thought of praying overwhelms you, select simply one word to concentrate on instead.
  3. Perhaps the word is ″peace,″ ″grace,″ or ″strength.″ Consider what that word means, recall verses or songs that you have heard that contain that term, consider what that word means to you in your faith, and seek God to reveal new things to you about that word.
  4. Prayer does not have to be difficult or time-consuming.
  5. Simply focusing on one word and saying something along the lines of, ″Lord, I need peace,″ may be quite effective.
  6. I wish to live in peace.

Demonstrate to me what true peace looks like.″I pray that I may be able to feel more of Your calm this week.″ Pray in the form of questions. The questions we have about religion, God, and the reasons for events in our life can be overwhelming at times, especially when we are young.Getting through them and feeling like we can genuinely pray might be difficult at times. But why not pray about those concerns and bring them before God?

Not that you have any answers, and you may not even feel as though your questions are instantly addressed, but simply come before the Lord and express all of your concerns, anxieties, fears and uncertainties to him in prayer, and he will address them as they arise.Pray using the names of Jesus as a guide. There are a plethora of names for the Lord throughout the Bible, and even if we don’t have the words to pray, simply repeating them may be a source of consolation for our spirits.Abba It goes on and on: Father (Galatians 4:6), Prince and Savior (Acts 5:31), Chosen One (Isaiah 42:1), King (I Timothy 6:15), Immanuel (Matthew 1:23), Stronghold, Refuge, and Savior (2 Samuel 22:3), and the list goes on and on.

  • Say these names aloud in prayer and reflect on what they signify for your own development.
  • Pray with the ACTS acrostic in mind.
  • An acrostic for prayer is provided in this essay by Greg Laurie, which may be found in our archives: ACTS.
  • The letter A represents adoration or reverence.
  • The letter C stands for confession.

T is an abbreviation for thanksgiving.Supplication is represented by the letter S.A good approach of orienting ourselves in prayer and providing ourselves with an easy blueprint to follow is to say something like this.

Pray the Lord’s Prayer if you can.The prayer of Jesus is found in Matthew 6:9-15, which is taken directly from his mouth. You should go through these words with your eyes closed and repeat them to yourself, line by line.Take a look at it in a few different languages (you can do this simply on our website) and notice how they all phrase this prayer differently.Write it down, think about it, and make a point of memorizing the famous lines from this prayer.Credit: Unsplash/Ruben Hutabarat for the photo.

Will God Help You When You Don’t Know What to Pray?

Some things remain in your memory forever. It was a phone call in the middle of the night that got me.Heavy footsteps in the hallway, followed by the sound of a door closing. As our car pulled out of the driveway and onto the street, the sound of a car door opening and closing, and the hum of our Chevrolet sedan, spoke the truth through my open window. Then there was stillness.Sleep, on the other hand, would not come for a long time.

My eyes may shut, but imagination would pry them open with invisible toothpicks: ″Who is it this time, Lord?″ I’d think to myself. Is it a baby?Someone’s mother or father?Someone’s teenager?

Someone’s kid?Was it an accident? Is there a death? Is this a domestic issue? Is this a last-ditch prayer request?During my youth and adolescence, the same old scene played out over and over again as the years passed.

My father answered the phone calls that stopped his snoring like a doctor on call around the clock. There is even another need.Another crisis has erupted.Another cries for assistance.

  1. But the memories don’t end there.
  2. They continue on.
  3. When I got married, I changed the title from ″pastor’s daughter″ to ″minister’s wife.″ Because my husband’s call to ministry was to a ″Person″ (Jesus), rather than to a specific post, his church positions have taken him from ″Youth Minister″ to ″Pastor″ to ″Associate Pastor″ responsibilities at various points in his ministry career.
  4. As a result, the calls continued to come in, whether it was daylight or nighttime.
  5. I occasionally sat with my husband as his silent partner, offering nothing but love, tears, an embrace, and an unsaid prayer in exchange for his silence.
  6. God has to take care of the rest.

He went ahead and did it.Yes, he does.He has promised to do so.

When You Don’t Know What to Pray

I wish I had known what I know now when I was younger. In those moments of need and crisis, I didn’t always know what to say in my prayers, but God, who is my loyal Father, recognized the need expressed in my silent tears.Even now, whether I’m praying for myself or for the needs of others, I can hear audible phrases tucked away in the recesses of my heart. However, as the realities of God’s Word show, when we are unsure of what to pray for, He is the One who will assist us and who will intervene on our behalf. He takes our hands in His and keeps them in His in every scenario, every crisis, and every need.Whenever I read His words in the Bible, I can feel His Spirit reassuring us that He is always willing to assist us.

I can only imagine what He could say to you or me in hushed tones:

When You Don’t Know What to Pray

The One Who Intercedes for You

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8:26-27 NIV

FROM THE HEART OF YOUR FAITHFUL FATHER My son or daughter, You’ll have a lot of experiences when you come into My presence and have no idea what to say or how to express yourself. In the first place, how could I, the Holy One, be expected to hear your prayers? In some ways, you’re reminded of a young child whose language hasn’t evolved much above kindergarten level.Don’t be concerned about understanding the appropriate words to use when communicating with Me.I understand what’s on Your mind.Every time you ask for an intercessor, My Spirit investigates your heart and discovers the deepest desires that are concealed within.

You will also experience times when your agony is so intense that you will be unable to talk.Tears are streaming down your cheeks, and the words will not come.I understand your feelings of helplessness, loneliness, brokenness, and sadness. And what do you do when you don’t know what to pray for or how to pray for others?

You are not alone in your feelings. It is possible that you may not always comprehend what to pray since My ways are different from yours.Allowing yourself to pour out your heart to Me, whether via tears or spoken words, is not something you should avoid doing. My Spirit will take those groanings and mold them into a prayer that will accomplish My desire for you in this situation.I shall provide you with piece of mind on such matters in due course. No matter how stumped you are, I am the One who always intercedes for you in the most ideal way possible.

And His words, which I am overwhelmed with thankfulness, are as follows: FROM THE HEART OF GRATITUDE When I’m on sacred ground, Lord, I become a little tongue-tied, to say the least. What can I say to the One who sacrificed his life for my sake? What is the best way for me to speak with the God who created everything and who has the entire universe in His hands?Other times, the wounds in my heart feel like mountainous stones that I am unable to lift them by my own strength.

  1. Words have taken up residence in the cracks of my heart.
  2. Thank You for reminding me that You are aware of the deepest desires of my heart, even when I am unable to express them verbally.
  3. Please accept my thanks for being the One who intercedes for me when I pray for others, and for offering intercession against the power of sin in my own life as I pray for others.
  4. You have such intimate knowledge of me.
  5. Cleanse my heart’s desires, Lord, so that the motivations behind my requests are not just to relieve me of my anguish or discomfort, but rather to bring You glory in the circumstance, no matter what happens to me.
  6. TRUTH ON A DAILY BASIS When God hears you pray, He is more concerned with your heart than with your words.

Just Say Jesus

″It was a Wednesday night, and I had just returned home from youth group, and I was having serious doubts about God and my salvation at the time.I said to myself, ″Listen up, it’s either all or nothing here.I’m all set.″ I dialed my youth pastor’s phone number and said, ″To be completely honest with you, this may come as a surprise to you, but I am not saved, and I have not been saved for a long time.I have nothing left, and life is a living hell.I’m in desperate need of Jesus.I’d want to have what I’ve been talking about for the past many years.″ He was taken aback.

He assumed that because I came from a nice family and had been raised in a Christian environment, I knew what I was talking about.I had even been listening to Christian music, yet I was as far away from God as somebody could possibly be.That was a frightening spot for me to be in since I knew that all of my friends assumed I was a practicing Christian.Eventually, I realized that I had been living a lie since I wasn’t truly saved, and I had to tell them all.

Even after I was saved, I experienced my fair share of low points in my life. When we were crafting the song, we spoke about a lot of different things. It was as if, when you’ve run out of options, when you’ve run out of things to say, there’s still one name that is stronger and more powerful than all of the things that happen in life.As Christians, we forget to simply call on the name of the Lord from time to time.We hear it all the time in church, but we seldom remember to say it out loud to ourselves.″ – Mikey Howard, lead vocalist of 7eventh Time Down, on his musical influences

Having no clue where to begin or even what to say when I sat down to talk to God was a source of great frustration for me for many years.I was certain that there was something wrong with me, or maybe that I was extremely ″un-spiritual.″ I’ve subsequently discovered that this is not the case at all, and the Lord has shown me what to do when I’m at a loss for what to pray for a certain purpose.Try one of these suggestions the next time you’re stuck for something to pray about. They’ve been shown to be effective for me.

1. Let The Holy Spirit Pray For You

I’ll drop my head in prayer when I’m going through a difficult time in my own life, or when I hear of bad news from friends, but the words simply won’t come. And then I’m reminded of the words of Romans 8:26, which says, ″In the same way, the Spirit assists us in our weakness.″ It’s a powerful reminder. While we are unable to discern what we should pray for, the Spirit himself intercedes on our behalf via wordless moans.″ I understand that asking the Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf may seem strange, but I’d want to urge you to give it a shot.Even if you are unsure of what to pray for, it will be comforting to know that prayers are being said for the situation at hand. After all, who better to intercede on your behalf than the Holy Spirit himself?

2. Speak the Name of Jesus

″When you’re stuck for words, just say Jesus,″ says the author. The name of Jesus has power because it is the name of God.Simply saying Jesus will suffice if the words won’t come because you’re too terrified to pray.– Just say the name of Jesus from the seventh time down.Exactly like the lyrics of the song state, ″There is strength in the name of Jesus!″ When you’re stuck for what to pray about, just say His name and you’ll be shocked at how much serenity it will bring.

3. Journal Your Thoughts

In fact, the idea for journaling originated from one of my readers who commented on this piece when I initially published it in the first place. If you’re wondering what Deb has to say about writing when she’s not sure what to pray for, read on: I’ve discovered that writing in my diary more like letters to God has proven to be beneficial.Sometimes I am inspired right from the first key strokes, and other times it takes a little longer.Dear God, I’m at a loss for what to say…What’s up, God?Are you there?

I pray that you are and that you would cast a light on me since I am completely lost right now…Almost often, before I am through writing or typing, I have gained clarity, and even when I do not, I am at ease knowing that I will in the near future. Why not try writing when the words just won’t flow during your prayer time, whether you use a pen and paper or a computer to type out your thoughts?

Journal using the Abundant Living Prayer Journal

There are four keys to an abundant prayer life included in this diary, which will teach you how to pray as well as guide you through daily prompts as you begin your prayer time each day.The journal also offers daily prompts. When I put these principles into practice, my daily prayer life was altered, and praying became much more effortless.I hope you find them useful.Instead of always begging the Lord for things, I began to have intimate dialogues with Him, and I desire the same for you as well.Take a look at my Etsy shop to get your journal!

4. Listen to Praise and Worship Music

When one of my favorite songs comes on, do I think I’m the only one who breaks into tiny praise and worship sessions? What better method to communicate with the Lord than to praise and honor Him via praise and worship music? There are several songs that have special value for me because the Lord used them to help me get through a difficult period. When I hear those songs, I can’t help but express my gratitude to the Lord for seeing me through that difficult period.Related: 20+ Songs About Fear to Inspire You When You’re Having a Bad Day

5. Say Scripture Out Loud

When we proclaim the Word of God over ourselves or over our circumstances, we have tremendous power.Repeat the passage aloud until it becomes ingrained in your mind and heart.I’m not sure where to begin, but the Psalms have always been a great source of consolation for me.A compilation of passages about believing God when all faith seems to have been gone, as well as verses regarding strength through difficult times, has also been compiled.

6. Draw/Sketch A Picture

In the event that you are artistically inclined, take out your tools and sketch or draw out your ideas and feelings as you pray to God. I have no doubt that He will be able to communicate with you, and that you will begin to have a discussion with Him while you are sketching or painting.

7. Be Still In His Presence

Many times, we conceive of prayer as just being a conversation between us and the Lord. And although being still and waiting for Him to communicate with us is an important component of prayer, being still and waiting for Him to commune with us is also an important aspect of prayer. However, while I’ve never heard God’s audible voice while I’ve been completely silent during prayer, there have been several instances in which He has spoken to me via the Holy Spirit, such as by giving me a little nudge or calling on my heart when various thoughts cross my mind.Spend 5-10 minutes in His presence…it will completely transform your day!If you’re sitting down to pray and aren’t sure where to begin, consider one of these suggestions the next time. The goal is to not overcomplicate prayer, but rather to be deliberate in your approach to it.

James 4:8 assures us that if we make the effort to meet with Him, He will make the effort to meet with us.″Close your heart to God, and He will close His heart to you.″ Continue reading this article

5 Prayers When You Don’t Know What To Pray — Hope On Demand

Remember to be joyful continually, to pray without ceasing, and to make thanks in all situations, because this is God’s wish for you in Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (New International Version) I find myself at a loss for words from time to time.Obviously, anyone who knows me would be appalled to learn that such a thing is true, but I’m confident that it is true for you as well. There are times when you are completely at a loss for what to say. When sadness comes and the only sounds you can hear are the cries of your heart, this is a good example.Alternatively, when enthusiasm takes over and you’re so taken aback that you can’t remember to take a breath!

Alternatively, when your schedule becomes overwhelming and your mind becomes so stressed that you can’t connect three sentences together into a coherent concept. When I pray, there are instances when I find myself unable to find the right words.Have you ever had something like that happen to you?The list goes on and on of things that you know you should pray for.

It is with a humble heart that you come before the Lord; but, you are unsure of what to say or where to begin?A good place to start is always with the Scriptures! Not only may we pray God’s Word back to Him, but we can also find numerous examples of prayers from others that we might incorporate into our own prayer life.

David prayed for God to guide him and forgive his sins.

Lead me in your truth and educate me, because you are the God of my salvation, and it is for you that I wait throughout the day. Psalm 25:5 (KJV) Consider my sorrow and my distress, and please forgive me for all of my faults. Psalm 25:18 (KJV)

Now, O Lord, please keep in mind how I have walked before you in fidelity and with a sincere heart, and how I have done what is right in your eyes throughout my life.2 Kings 20:3 (NIV) Prayer is just communicating with God, but let’s be honest: it’s a lot more than that. It’s easy to get caught up in the process of trying to come up with the correct words to say.Let us remember that, even though we are encouraged by the prayers of others, God is more concerned with the sincerity of our hearts than with the words we use.As a result of God’s favor, we have the Holy Spirit, who strengthens us in our weaknesses and intercedes on our behalf before God.In the same way, the Holy Spirit assists us when we are weak.

Because we do not know what to pray for in the way that we should, the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that are too deep to put into words.Paul writes in Romans 8:26 that So, no matter what happens, never stop believing, never stop trusting, never stop pressing, never stop praying!Psalm 61:1-4; Luke 18:1; Philippians 4:6-7; Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6-7; Ephesians 6:18

When You Don’t Know What to Pray

In the same way, the Holy Spirit assists us when we are weak. The Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groans that are too deep for words, because we have no idea what prayer to give or how to make it in the manner that is appropriate for us.Paul writes in Romans 8:26 that There are moments when we don’t know what to pray, but Jesus knows just what to say.He is aware of His plans for our lives, and He is aware of the depths of our being. He only desires for us to come to Him.This is a criteria that must be met.

We can’t have a healthy relationship if we don’t communicate. We must put up the effort and devote the necessary time, but this should not be a burden but rather a pleasure. The instant we begin to communicate with Jesus, He is right there with us.When you call upon His Name, it only takes a fraction of a second…

Just pronounce the word ″Jesus,″ and He will appear.Jesus has never abandoned us, but we need to re-awaken our hearts and thoughts to His Presence on a regular basis.Sit quietly with Him for a moment, allowing His comfort to sweep over you. There is no challenge or condition that is too severe for Him to handle. When we are weak, this is when we readily allow Him to assist us; yet, Jesus desires more…He desires for us to allow His power to manifest itself.

Despite the fact that He is always there with us, we tend to accomplish things in our own strength and might rather than bringing Him in.When we remember who we are in Christ, we become much more powerful. In order for His Spirit to resound through us, we must remember who He has declared we are and call upon His Name in faith. When we are unable to speak, the Holy Spirit will intercede on our behalf with sighs and groans that are too deep for words, and He will know precisely what needs to be said.
