What Makes Jesus The Greatest Champion?

Jesus the champion of the world.

  • Jesus is known as the ″Champion of the World.″ According to Psalm 188 v 5, ″God is now by my side, and I am not scared; who would dare to put their hand on me?″ I’m confident in God’s protection.
  • Additionally, the Bible states in Isaiah 60:8 (The Message Bible) that ″you will know that I, God, am your Savior, your Redeemer, and your Champion of Jacob.″ ″I’ll only offer you the finest,″ I promise.
  • When I was little, I enjoyed watching Superman on television.
  • That is one of my favorite sayings: ″Good always triumphs over evil.″ I stood by and watched as this man took on anything.

He would save individuals and assist them without bothering to remain around for any recognition.According to what I recall hearing, the prayer closet should serve the same purpose for a Christian that the telephone booth served for Clark Kent.A hero…We may all be a hero to someone at some point in our lives.

  1. If we just took the time to be concerned.
  2. We all have heroes in our lives, people that we look up to and adore.
  3. Someone who would protect you and serve as your champion, fighting for you and helping you to defeat your adversary.

Jesus, by his death and resurrection, accomplished this for all of us.A hero is someone who would go out of their way for you just because they care about you.It happens when you least expect it.In Romans 6:6-8, the Bible states, ″You see, Christ died for the ungodly at precisely the proper moment, when we were still weak.″ Although it is unlikely that someone will die for a decent guy, it is possible that someone may risk their life for a good man.The fact that Christ died for us while we were still sinners, however, is a demonstration of God’s own love for us.″ Our Champion, Jesus, only offers us the best of himself. As far as I’m concerned, Jesus is the greatest hero, the greatest champion.

He is, in my opinion, the indisputable, unbeaten Champion of Love throughout history! For me, Jesus is the world’s champion and my hero.He is the Son of God.My buddy, the world is on the lookout for a hero, for a real champion, for someone who is capable of bringing the day to a close.

Then they don’t have to look any farther than Jesus, the world’s greatest champion! In the lines of a traditional gospel song…The world is on the lookout for a hero, and we already know who the greatest of them all is: the strong ruler of the nations, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who taught us the character of a servant and offered his life to rescue the rest of us.The Lord of all might is our hero; he removes the shackles of sin, and through Jesus’ love, we have no fear of evil. The powers of darkness run before him, and his light will shine in every country, and he will bring a sword of justice to bear on the earth.

We shall raise a rousing cries, we will proclaim him to be the Champion of the Universe!.God’s blessings on you, dear buddy.Matthew.

The Greatest Leader of All Time

  • Jesus is the most powerful leader who has ever lived.
  • His ministry on our planet lasted only 36 months during his time here.
  • With his followers, Jesus converted them from common individuals with little or no academic education into the cornerstones of Christianity.
  • At least four of the original 12 were tough fisherman who spoke in a slangy manner and were unskilled in their trade.

However, after three years spent with Jesus, they were able to withstand all of the pressure from the Sanhedrin to cease proclaiming the Gospel. When the religious leaders of the period discussed how this could have happened, they pointed out that the men had been with Christ.Acts 4:13 is a biblical passage.Take a look at some of the leadership skills that Jesus demonstrated and consider how we may apply them to our own lives:

Attracting Followers

  • Having the ability to draw people is essential for becoming an influential leader.
  • Leading is defined as ″serving to bring (a person) to a specific location″ according to Webster’s Dictionary.
  • The principle at the heart of this definition is the idea that in order to be a leader, one must have people to lead on their behalf.
  • True leaders recognize that they are servants entrusted with the responsibility of assisting others in realizing their full potential.

In order for iron to sharpen iron, the two metals must first come into direct touch with one another.Consider the following questions: In what ways have you been exemplifying a life in Christ? Are you investing in the lives of others in order for them to realize their greatest potential? Is it possible to identify any spiritual skills or qualities that God has placed inside you and if you are using them to help others?

Your Inner Circle

  • Relationships were important to Jesus, and he recognized this.
  • We know Jesus had at least 72 disciples at the time he sent them out two by two, based on the time he sent them out two by two in Luke 10:1.
  • We also know that Christ picked twelve disciples from among those 72 for a more intimate relationship.
  • In the morning, after a night of prayer, Jesus addressed them by name and gave them precedence over the others, calling them apostles (see Luke 6:12-6:16).

And then, we know that Jesus chose three preferred followers from among the twelve apostles, whom he took apart with him on multiple occasions through times of hardship, preparation, and trouble. As a result, we witness Christ setting up an inner network of friends and confidants for his own benefit.Successful leaders, like him, must create and cultivate connections on a variety of levels, including a few with whom they can put their total faith.Do you have a group of people that you can confide in who are close to you?

  1. Are people able to rely on you to be there when they want your assistance?
  2. In order to develop your interactions with others, what are you doing?
  3. Are there individuals who are having an impact on your life who shouldn’t be?

Know Who You Are

  • Leaders must exude self-assurance and be comfortable in their own skin.
  • People are drawn to leaders because they see something in them that they recognize as something they need to develop within themselves.
  • And they have faith in that individual’s capacity to assist them in getting there.
  • Chaos arrives via the gateway of uncertainty and second thoughts, and takes hold of the situation.

During difficult times, many followers begin to doubt where they are being directed. If a leader fails to show up, followers will provide proposals for their own travel arrangements. When confronted with adversity, leaders must be strong enough in their understanding of who they are to hold faithful to the vision that has been committed to their charge. The greatest leader who ever lived, Jesus permitted some of His disciples to walk away rather than change the message He was trying to communicate.

  1. As a result of this event, many of his disciples turned around and stopped following him (John 6:66).
  2. Consider the following question: who is influencing who?
  3. What percentage of my vision is still intact?

Is it more important to me what God thinks of me than what other people think of me?

Lead by Example

  • One of the most important lessons I learned while serving in the Army is that leaders must lead by example.
  • Jesus regularly set the tone by setting an example.
  • Towards the end of Mark 9:33-34, the disciples were arguing amongst themselves over who would be the greatest in the kingdom.
  • The disciples, in contrast to John the Baptist, were still contemplating how they could expand and strengthen their own personal power base and sphere of influence.

Jesus could see by their argument as they traveled down the road that they were still not getting it.As a result, Jesus took off his shoes and bathed their feet to demonstrate how real leaders serve others.True Christianity is built on the foundation of servant leadership. As you begin to invest in people, remember that the goal is not to expand your own power base or to increase church membership, but rather to assist others in increasing and reaching their full potential.

  1. Among the questions to ask yourself are: Is Christ being exalted in this relationship?
  2. Are we both becoming more and more like Jesus?
  3. What kind of words of encouragement can I give them that will be genuine and help them grow even more?

Final Thoughts

  • These are only a few of the leadership characteristics that Jesus modeled for us to emulate in our everyday walk with him.
  • If we want to have the same influence on the world that He had, we must walk in the manner that He demonstrated for us to walk.
  • He promises us that we will be able to do even bigger wonders than He Himself performed in John 14:12.
  • Imagine the potential that lay dormant, waiting for our guidance, if He was able to achieve so much in such a short period of time.

As a challenge, I encourage you to pray and inquire of God about what you may do to become a more effective leader in His Kingdom. He has placed you in your current location for a reason. Please, God, open our eyes to the opportunities that are all around us.God and the GOD TV crew invite you to begin your day together.

In what ways is Jesus greater than all the other greats of history?

  • There have been numerous persons throughout history that we, as human beings, have referred to or considered to be ″great.″ In their respective fields, they are the giants of their respective fields—great monarchs, great military commanders, great religious leaders, great jurists, great philosophers, and great thinkers who have made significant contributions to the history of the human race.
  • What is Jesus Christ’s place in the pantheon of greats?
  • To be honest, Jesus Christ does not hold a candle to such ″great″ people.
  • He is above and above all of them.

Jesus Christ does not even belong in the same category as any other human being who has ever lived or will ever live on the face of the earth. This is due to the fact that Jesus is no ordinary mortal.Jesus Christ is God shown in the human form.He is the second Person of the Godhead, after the Father (i.e.

  1. The Trinity).
  2. The apostle Paul explains the preeminence of Jesus Christ in Colossians chapter 1, verses 15–20, as follows: ″He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, and the embodiment of all that is good.
  3. For it was by him and for him that all things were made, both visible and unseen, in heaven and on earth, whether thrones or dominions, rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

And he is before all things, and it is in him that all things are held together in their entirety. In addition, he is the head of the body, which is the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order for him to be the most important in everything.Because in him all of God’s fullness was pleased to dwell, and in him God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself, whether on earth or in heaven, bringing about peace through the blood of his death.″ All of history’s so-called ″great″ historical people owe their entire existence to Jesus Christ, who was responsible for the creation of all things.Only Jesus Christ, in contrast to these other ″great″ persons, has the ability to lead men and women into a loving, intimate relationship with God the Father.According to Acts 4:11–12, Jesus’ name is the sole name that has been proclaimed among humanity by which we must be saved.

God has shown Himself to be the One and Only Savior (Titus 2:13; John 14:6).Only Jesus is everlasting and pre-existent, according to the Bible. He is the only begotten Son of God, who has existed from the beginning of time.Only Jesus is without sin (Hebrews 4:15).

Only Jesus Christ is a sufficient sacrifice for the sins of the entire world (Ephesians 5:2).Jesus is the only one who qualifies as a Mediator between God and man, according to 1 Timothy 2:5–6.Only Jesus resurrected from the grave, never to be subjected to the horrors of death again (Acts 2:24).There is no other guy that compares to Jesus since Jesus is more than just a man.John 14:9 declares that Jesus is who He claimed to be: God in the flesh, equal with the Father (John 10:30).

If any of history’s ″great″ individuals were saved, it was only through faith in Jesus Christ that they were able to achieve salvation.Because Scripture makes it quite plain that only those who know and receive Jesus Christ have a relationship with God the Father (Matthew 11:27).In the spirit of comparison, let us have a look at how Jesus compares to the rest of the field of contenders.Christ is elevated far above any earthly ruler or military commander the world has ever seen, and he is exalted far above all of them in comparison.Revelation 19:11–16 describes Jesus Christ as ″the King of kings, the Lord of lords,″ and though His first appearance on earth was as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29), His second appearance will be as the Conquering King, when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:9–11; Revelation 19:11–16).

  • Let us now proceed to make a comparison between Jesus Christ and one of the most important religious figures throughout history.
  • Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are the three most widely practiced faiths in the world, and they all trace their origins back to the ″great″ Father Abraham.
  • Scripture, on the other hand, teaches that Christ is considerably greater than Abraham.
  • This is made obvious during a conflict with the Jews that is reported in John’s gospel.

Jesus responded in part by saying, ″’Your father Abraham was overjoyed that he would live to see my birth.’He noticed it and felt relieved.’ As a result, the Jews confronted him, saying, ″You are not even fifty years old, and have you ever met Abraham?″ ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.’ Jesus continued to speak to them. Thus, they gathered stones to throw at him, but Jesus concealed himself and fled from the temple grounds ″(See also John 8:56–59.) By taking the appellation ″I AM,″ Jesus was seizing a title that had hitherto been reserved for God alone.Jesus is teaching us that He existed before Abraham because He is God, and so He existed before Abraham. He existed with God and as God in the past, and he continues to exist today (John 1:1, 14).Jesus is significantly greater than Abraham in terms of power and authority.

The following are things that no other religious leader in history has been able to claim: to be God in the flesh, to have lived a sinless life, to have died as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, to have risen from the dead, and to have ascended to heaven, where Jesus now sits at God the Father’s right hand (1 Corinthians 15:3–4) ″…far beyond every rule and authority and power and dominion, and far above every name that is called, not only in this age but also in the one to come,″ says Ephesians 1:20–21 of Jesus’ position at God’s right side. When compared to other ″great″ judges, Jesus Christ is the Supreme Court of the entire universe. It is true that God will pass judgment depending on whether or not a person has accepted or rejected Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior (John 3:18).

  • Individuals, who have accepted Him, are welcomed into eternal life.
  • Whosoever rejects Him will stay trapped in their sins and under the weight of condemnation.
  • In the entire universe, Jesus is the one Judge whose decisions are absolutely right and forever.
  • The Father has designated Jesus Christ to judge the entire world, including the so-called ″great″ persons who have risen to prominence in history (Acts 17:31).
  • When compared to ″great″ philosophers and intellectuals, Scripture reminds us that all of the riches of wisdom and knowledge are buried in Christ, and that this is true regardless of their status (Colossians 2:3).
See also:  Where All Did Jesus Travel

When compared to the fullness of God, which resides in Jesus Christ, the philosophy of this world is empty (Colossians 2:9).In God’s folly, he is wiser than the wisest of men (1 Corinthians 1:25).The task before us as Christians is to demolish hypotheses and every high concept put up against the knowledge of God, and to bring every mind under the control of Christ’s obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5).

It is strongly advised that we do not be deceived by the hollow deception of godless philosophy, but rather that we place our faith in Jesus Christ, who is the knowledge of God (Colossians 2:8–10; 1 Corinthians 1:20–25).It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about a great ruler like Alexander, a great warrior like Genghis Khan, a great religious leader like Abraham, a great philosopher like Socrates, or a great intellectual like Einstein; we’re talking about created, flawed, mortal men whose bones are interred in tombs.Jesus Christ, on the other hand, possesses none of these qualities.

  1. He is everlasting, blameless, and immortal, and he will rule and reign for all of eternity.
  2. His superiority over men and women, even ″great″ ones, is so enormous that we may legitimately question Him, ″What is man, that you make such a big deal about him, and that you have set your heart on him?″ (Job 7:17).
  3. The great men and women of history are reduced to the status of worms in the presence of the glorious beauty of Jesus Christ (Job 25:6).
  4. We are nothing more than faded flowers, grass that blooms today and is chopped down tomorrow, a mist that forms for a brief while and then goes away completely (Job 14:2; Psalm 103:14; Isaiah 40:6; James 1:10; 4:14; 1 Peter 1:24).
  5. Jesus Christ is the ″I AM,″ God with us, God over all, the everlasting King of kings and Lord of lords, and he is the source of all truth and goodness (Matthew 1:23; Romans 9:5; Revelation 19:16).

He is the Holy One, and he is the only one who can save us (John 6:69; Jude 1:25–25).There is no one more important than Jesus.Truths that are related: What is the identity of Jesus Christ? Is Jesus Christ a one-of-a-kind individual? How?

Jesus Our Champion

  • Editorial note: This item was first published in March 2017 and has been updated to include information on the 2021 NCAA Division I College Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament (March Madness).
  • Because there was no March Madness in 2020, the 2021 Tournament will be particularly memorable.
  • Because to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, the 2020 Tournament has been postponed until further notice.
  • If this were a typical year, we would be in the midst of March Madness, which is the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Tournament, which begins on March 1.

As a result of the worldwide COVID-19 Pandemic, the NCAA March Madness tournament was canceled this year.It was canceled in order to prevent players, coaches, spectators, and members of the general public from being infected with and/or spreading this highly infectious disease for which there is currently no known treatment or cure, and for which there is currently no vaccination available. With rules, requirements, and restrictions preventing the assembling of groups bigger than ten individuals, much of the country has come to a grinding halt, or at the very least has seen a significant slowdown in activity. In a large part of the county, all non-essential companies have been forced to close.

  1. Seniors, as well as those with weakened respiratory or immunological systems, are advised to remain at home..
  2. In previous years, supporters from all over the country would be supporting for their teams in the hopes that they would be the only ones to win the championship.
  3. That squad would go on to win the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship title.

No NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Champion will be crowned in 2020, which is a highly unlikely scenario. However, we have a champion who was crowned from the beginning of time and who will continue to be champion indefinitely.Philippians 2:9-11 is a passage of Scripture (NLT2) 9 As a result, God exalted him to the greatest position of respect and bestowed upon him the name beyond all other names.Every knee should bend at the name of Jesus in heaven and on earth and under the earth11 and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Revelation 11:15 is a verse from the Bible (NLT2) 15 There was a great uproar in heaven as the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were shouts from the angels: ″The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord, and Jesus Christ will reign forever and ever.″ Jesus is our victorious savior! When it comes to sporting competitions, a champion is described as someone who has conquered or outperformed all opponents; someone who battles or argues for a cause or on behalf of someone else.

The Hebrew term for each of these nouns is archgos, which is defined as a chief leader in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible as follows: author, captain, and prince, to name a few.Depending on whose translation you choose, the Bible refers to Jesus as a guide, author, source, or champion in Hebrews 12:2.Hebrews 12:2 (BBE)2 Keeping our gaze fixed on Jesus, the author and culmination of our faith, who endured the agony of the crucifixion, not caring about the disgrace, because of the joy that lay ahead of him, and who has now ascended to the right side of God’s throne of authority.Heb.

12:2 (NKJV)2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right side of God, HCSB2 Keep your gaze fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and rejected shame, finally settling himself at God’s right side on the throne of glory.12:2 (Hebrews 12:2) (NLT) 2 By keeping our gaze fixed on Jesus, the champion who initiated and perfected our faith, we may do this.Because of the pleasure that awaited him, Jesus willingly suffered the cross, despite its humiliating nature. He has now been elevated to a position of dignity next to God’s throne.(From the Bold Mine) Jesus, our champion, has triumphed over sin and death on our behalf.

Jesus went to combat on the cross, and he was victorious, according to all of these interpretations or translations. His victory over death (permanent separation from God), which is the penalty for sin and was the final adversary of the believer, was accomplished on our behalf.1 Corinthians 15:24-28 is a biblical passage (NLT) 24 It will come to an end after that, when he will hand over the Kingdom to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler, authority, and power.25 In order for Christ to rule, he must first subdue all of his adversaries beneath his feet.26 Death, on the other hand, is the final adversary to be defeated.

  • 27 Since God has placed all things under his rule, according to the Scriptures, It is important to note that when the Bible states ″all things are under his jurisdiction,″ it does not refer to God himself, who delegated authority to Christ.
  • 28, after which the Son would subordinate himself to God’s authority, resulting in God, who granted his Son power over everything, being completely sovereign over everything and everyone on the face of the entire earth.
  • (From the Bold Mine) 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 (New Living Translation)54 Once this occurs, and our dying bodies have been converted into bodies that will never die, the following Scripture will be fulfilled: ″Victory swallows death up in its embrace.
  • 55 O death, whither has your victory gone to?

″Where has your sting gone, death?″ As a result, sin is the sting that causes death, and the law is the source of sin’s authority.57 But, thank God, this is not the case!Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, he provides us with victory over sin and death.(From the Bold Mine) The season of Lent has begun, and as we reflect on the events of Easter Sunday and all that transpired, we can see that we, as Christians, have received several blessings as a consequence of our Champion’s victory. It is as a result of the Resurrection that those who trust in Jesus as their Savior have been granted Forgiveness of sins.

Ephesians 1:7 (New Living Translation)7 It was by the blood of his Son that he purchased our freedom and atoned for our sins. He is a God who is kind and merciful. We now have peace with God as a result of the Resurrection of Jesus.

  • Romans 5:1 (New Living Translation)1 Consequently, because we have been made right in God’s eyes by faith, we have peace with God as a result of what Jesus Christ, our Lord, has accomplished for us.
  • John 14:27 (New Living Translation)27 ″I’m leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart.
  • Thank you for everything.″ And the calm I provide is a gift that no one else can provide.
  • Therefore, don’t be alarmed or concerned.

We have been set free from sin as a result of the Resurrection.

  • Romans 6:14–18 (NASB) (NLT) 14 Due to the fact that you no longer live under the restrictions of the law, sin is no longer your master.
  • Instead, you are free to live your life as a result of God’s grace.
  • 15 Do we therefore have the freedom to sin since God’s grace has set us free from the law?
  • Does this mean we may continue to do so?

Without a doubt, this is not the case!16 Don’t you know that when you choose to obey anything, you become a slave to that thing? You may either choose to be a slave to sin, which will result in death, or you can choose to obey God, which will result in good behavior.17 Thank you, God!

  1. Once upon a time, you were slaves to sin, but today you are committed to following the teachings we have given you.
  2. 18 You have been set free from your enslavement to sin, and you have been transformed into slaves to righteous life in its place.
  3. We now possess authority as a result of the Resurrection.
  • 1 Thessalonians 1:19-20 (NLT) 19 My prayer is also that you would come to appreciate the enormous magnitude of God’s power for those of us who trust in him.
  • As previously said, this is the same tremendous power20 that resurrected Christ from the grave and elevated him to a position of honor at God’s right side in the celestial realms.
  • His presence is now among us as a result of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

John 14:15-17 (New Living Translation)15 ″If you love me, you will obey my commands.″ I will go to the Father and ask him to provide you with another Advocate who will never abandon you.17 He is the Holy Spirit, and he is the one who leads us into all truth. The world is unable to accept him because it is not on the lookout for him and does not identify him as such.

  • However, you are familiar with him since he currently resides with you and will someday reside within you.
  • Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB) (NLT) 18 ″I have been granted full power in heaven and on earth,″ Jesus said to his apostles when he arrived.
  • 19 As a result, go and make disciples of all countries, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as the Lord has commanded you.
  • 20 Instruct these new pupils to follow all of the instructions I have given them.
  1. And rest assured that I will be with you at all times, even to the end of the age.″ Jesus, our Champion, has gained victory for us; as a result, we may rest in him, confident in the knowledge that we are being transformed by the same force that resurrected Jesus from the dead.
  2. 1 Corinthians 6:14 (New Living Translation)14 And by his power, God will raise us from the grave, just as he resurrected our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead.
  3. Ephesians 4:8 (New Living Translation)8 Because of this, the Scriptures state that ″when he went to the heights, he led a multitude of prisoners and distributed presents to his people.″ Psalm 68:18 (New Living Translation)18 When you went to the heights, you were accompanied by a large group of prisoners.
  4. You received presents from the whole public, including from individuals who were opposed to you.
  5. The LORD God will now reside among us at that location.
  6. It’s important to remember that Jesus is your Champion and that He has already conquered the world, making you more than a conqueror in your own right.

(As you can see, you have victory through faith in God – you are more than a conqueror) Romans 8:35-37 (NASB) (NLT) 35 Is it possible for anything to ever separate us from Christ’s love? What if we are in trouble or catastrophe, or if we are persecuted, or hungry, or impoverished, or if we are in danger or faced with death?Does this indicate that he no longer loves us?36 According to the Scriptures, ″For your cause, we are murdered every day; we are slaughtered like sheep.″ 37 No, despite all of these circumstances, we have won an overwhelming triumph through Christ, who loved us.This is a prayer that I used to conclude one of my Lenten devotionals, and I’ll use it to conclude this article as well.

Heavenly Father, we give you gratitude for the strength that is present in our lives as a result of our champion, Christ Jesus, and we beg that we may find ourselves armed with bravery and joy as a result of his ascension to the highest point of the heavenly sphere. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

10 Ways to Make Jesus Famous #MJF

One of my favorite hash tags is MJF, which stands for ″Make Jesus Famous,″ as anyone who knows me will attest to the fact. This is my life’s work, and I am quite convinced that this is it.″But isn’t Jesus already well-known?″ you might wonder, and while I would agree that He is well-known in some areas, I believe that He deserves all of the attention.

  • Some sections of the globe have never heard of Jesus, and this is particularly true in Africa.
  • To give you an example, I’m aware that there are parts of Eastern Europe where, if you mention the name Jesus, people assume you’re talking about a player.
  • As a result, I want to be obedient in the endeavor to Make Jesus Famous, knowing well well that the Bible makes it very plain that God is more concerned with our obedience than with our sacrifice.
  • I am also aware that I am not the only one who has been asked to accomplish this.
  1. I believe that all Christians are being called to this.
  2. I think that we are all called to make the Name of Jesus known to the people in our world (family, friends, job, etc.), in our community, in our town, in our city, in our country, and all over the globe.

But how do we make Jesus famous?

There are numerous practical ways to accomplish this, and they are all necessary, but I believe that a good place to start is in our one-on-one time with God in solitude. That’s why it’s the first point I’d want to make. Please be encouraged by the following list of the top ten ways to make Jesus famous: 1: Spend time alone with God, just listening to what He has to say.

  • Keep in mind that we have two ears and one mouth, therefore make use of them in that ratio.
  • God desires to communicate with you; He yearns to do so because He is love.
  • When we are in love, all we want to do is spend time with and chat to the person we are in love with.
  • According to the Bible, whatever God whispers to us, we are to proclaim from the rooftops.
  1. What is it that God is speaking to you about that you should shout from the rooftops?
  2. Anyone may yell, but if it comes from God, it will actually make a difference, and this will help to establish Jesus as a worldwide celebrity.
  3. 2: Carry out your plans in secret.
  4. The location of the hidden location is where it is.
  5. I believe that God wants us to be more thrilled about Him in our private time with Him than we are in our public time with Him.
  6. He will publicly recognize and reward us for the work we perform in private.

Whether it’s via fasting and prayer, kindness or generosity, there’s something for everyone. It may go unnoticed by the world, but God does not overlook it, and I believe the greatest reward is being able to play a little role in being used by God to further the Kingdom’s objectives. When you do this, you will be able to witness God’s hand at work in your life, which will help to make Jesus renowned.3: Exalt Jesus’ name in your heart. If you hoist up the Name of Jesus in your own heart, you will be unable to help but lift Him up throughout the rest of the world.

If we call on the name of Jesus, He will come to us and attract people to Himself. Our responsibility is to exalt Jesus and to be unashamed of Him in all circumstances, and He will take care of the rest.We don’t draw the crowds; He does, and as He pulls people to Himself, they will realize how compelling He is, and this will propel Jesus to the top of the popularity charts.4: Express your gratitude for God’s goodness.

  1. Take some time to reflect on how nice God has been to you, and then tell everyone how wonderful He is!
  2. 5: Present yourself as the same person on and off stage.
  3. Yes, your message will make Jesus famous on stage, but it will make Jesus renowned much more so off stage!
  4. It is always my practice to ensure that I remain behind after a speech in order to engage with the audience.
  5. There is no such thing as a better person than another.

This will help to keep you grounded, and it is also where the true ministry takes places. If we are not the same person when we are in person, we will only harm others and turn them away from Jesus because we will be giving a false impression of Him.I recall hearing something along the lines of…″People are not bored with the Gospel, but they are bored with a bad presentation of the Gospel.″ I believe that humility is the most effective way to convey the Gospel because God offers grace to those who are humble, and that grace will take us to places we do not deserve or could not have reached on our own.It provides us with a platform from which to make Jesus renowned.

  • Transparency is number six.
  • We live in a generation that has had enough of deception.
  • They are looking for the truth, and they are capable of seeing through deception.

If you’re pumped up to the gills, people can see straight through you.So, even when it’s difficult, maintain your transparency. If you allow God to work in your life, He will convert every difficulty into a triumph, every wound into someone else’s healing, every test into a witness, and every mess into a message!

So it’s possible that everything you went through was part of a larger plan to make Jesus renowned.Keep it true, and be the genuine article.7: Be a dependable person.

  • God searches the entire globe for a faithful individual who is willing to be used by Him in some way.
  • So put your confidence in Him and don’t give up on the work He has given you to undertake.
  • God does not call the qualified; rather, He qualifies those who are called to serve.
  • 8: It’s time to serve.
  • Simply serving others will bring Jesus to the attention of those who seek to transform them.
  • It is not by our own strength or might, but through His, and one of the most effective ways I have witnessed this is via loving God and loving others.
  • I’ve discovered that the most effective approach to love others is to serve them.
  • The last will be the first, and so on.
  • This reminds me of one of the most beautiful images I’ve ever seen: Jesus washing the feet of His followers and teaching them, ″If you want to be the greatest in the Kingdom, you must first become the least.″ 9: Rather of being the boxer, act as the promoter.
  1. A skilled promoter will direct people to the boxer’s location.
  2. Boxers, on the other hand, are well-known, but promoters are not.
  3. Oftentimes, I believe we try to take on the role of the boxer, fighting our own bouts and expecting Jesus to serve as our promoter when it should be the other way around.
  4. We should behave in the same manner as any excellent publicist or extra in a movie, remaining undetected while we point to the main attraction, Jesus.
  5. I’m just grateful that I’ll be able to be in the film at all.

10: Finally, but certainly not least, be willing and available.Remember that when you follow Jesus and become a real disciple your life will only point to Him.So be prepared to do anything God wants of you.Thank you for taking the time to read this. Some years ago, my lovely wife and I had a vision in which we were standing on a platform wearing T-shirts with the words ″Make Jesus Famous″ written on them.As a result, we will be establishing an online apparel brand named MJF Clothing in the near future.

Because we believe it is God’s heartbeat to help the least of these, a portion of the profits will be donated to charitable organizations, missionaries, and ministries. We want to partner with people to make Jesus famous, as well as fight poverty, because we believe it is God’s heartbeat to help the least of these. While we believe this will be a successful clothing brand, we see it as part of a larger mission and movement for Jesus Christ.

These garments will help individuals to make Jesus prominent in their local communities when they wear them.We would much appreciate it if you could pray for us as we prepare to launch.Meanwhile, spread the word about Jesus by visiting MakeJesusFamous.com.Steven McLeish contributed to the writing of this article.

How is Jesus greater than all the other great people in history?

Answer The Bible portrays Jesus as being greater than everyone who has ever lived before Him and everyone who will ever live after Him.Paul lays forth, in no uncertain terms, the teaching of Christ’s supremacy ″in everything″ in Colossians 1.(Colossians 1:18).

  • God, according to Ephesians 1:22, ″put all things under his feet and designated him to be head over all things for the church,″ which means ″head over everything.″ Jesus is more powerful than the entire universe.
  • He would have to be, given that He is the creator of everything.
  • When Jesus calmed the roaring storm (Mark 4:39), multiplied the loaves and fish (Mark 8:6—9), restored sight to the blind (Mark 8:22—25), and walked on water (Mark 8:22—25), He demonstrated His authority over creation (Mark 6:48).
  • ″All things have been created through and for him,″ says the Bible (Colossians 1:16).
  1. Jesus is bigger than Abraham in every way.
  2. Father Abraham was and continues to be one of the most admired and revered individuals in all of history.
  3. The Jews once questioned Jesus, while He was speaking to them about their heritage, if He was ″greater than our father Abraham.″ Jesus replied affirmatively.
  4. (See John 8:53.) Jesus’ response took them by surprise: ″Your father Abraham thrilled at the prospect of seeing my day; he saw it and rejoiced….
  5. Absolutely, I swear to you that I was here long before Abraham was born!
  6. (See also John 8:56 and 58.) Jesus is bigger than Jacob in every way.

Jacob was another patriarch, who was also given the name ″Israel″ by God (Genesis 32:28).In the course of his conversation with a lady near Jacob’s Well in Samaria, Jesus informed her that He could provide her with ″live water″ (John 4:10).Her question, mistaking His reference to well water for another form of water, went something like this: ″Are you better than our father Jacob?″ (See also verse 12).When Jesus responded, He made a distinction between Jacob’s transitory gift and His own eternal gift, saying, ″Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whomever drinks the water I give them will never be thirsty again.″ As a result, the water I give them will become in them ″a spring of water welling up to eternal life″ (verses 13–14), according to the Bible.Jesus is superior than Moses in every way.

Moses is unquestionably the most revered of all the prophets of the Old Testament. He was the lawgiver, the emancipator of Israel, and a miracle-worker in the lives of the people.Moses had the unusual pleasure of speaking to God ″face to face, as one would speak to a friend.″ Moses was the first person to do so (Exodus 33:11).″You must listen to him,″ Moses instructed the Israelites before he died, predicting the arrival of another Prophet who would show some similarity to Moses: ″You must keep an eye out for him″ (Deuteronomy 18:15).

  1. Among other things, Jesus fulfilled the Law (Matthew 5:17), liberated us from sin and death (Romans 8:2), and was unquestionably a miracle worker (Acts 2:22).
  2. Jesus has been judged deserving of higher regard than Moses, according to the Bible’s Hebrews 3:3.
  3. Jesus is superior than David in every way.
  4. The term ″Son of David″ was often used to refer to the Messiah in Jesus’ day (see Matthew 9:27).
  5. Based on prophecy, the Jews believed that the Messiah would be descended from David’s bloodline, and thus they used this phrase to express their conviction (2 Samuel 7:16).

In a discourse in the temple, Jesus quotes Psalm 110:1, pointing out that David refers to the Messiah as ″my Lord,″ indicating that he is the Messiah (Matthew 22:45).As a result, the Son of David is greater than David and comes from a genealogy that is greater than any earthly line of monarchy.Jesus is superior than Solomon in every way.The intelligence, money, power, and renown possessed by King Solomon were unsurpassed (1 Kings 10:23–24).During Solomon’s reign, monarchs from all over the world came to Jerusalem to pay their respects to the king.

  • Nonetheless, Jesus declared, ″Now someone better than Solomon has come″ (Matthew 12:42).
  • Jesus is bigger than Jonah in every way.
  • The prophet Jonah had an important role in one of the most significant revivals in history.

Under the influence of his teaching, the entire city of Nineveh repented of their wrongdoing and turned to God in prayer for forgiveness.A people who were famed for their idolatry and ferocity humbled themselves in God’s sight and repented of their heathen practices. However, Jesus stated that ″someone bigger than Jonah has arrived″ (Matthew 12:41).

Jesus is bigger than John the Baptist in terms of authority.JOHN THE BAPTISM was ″more than a prophet,″ according to Jesus, who also stated that ″there is no one bigger than John″ (Luke 7:26, 28).According to the Bible, John was the final prophet of the Old Testament period, having fulfilled Malachi 3:1 and manifesting supernatural power comparable to that of Elijah (Luke 1:17).

  • But what was John’s opinion of Jesus?
  • In his prophesy, Jesus demonstrates who is more powerful: ″There is one coming who is mightier than I, and I am not worthy to kneel down and untie the thong of His shoes″ (Mark 1:7).
  • To put it another way, John did not even belong in the same category as Jesus.
  • However, Jesus would be the one to baptize with the Holy Spirit, as opposed to John who baptized with water (Mark 1:8).
  • The temple in Jerusalem was a magnificent structure, rich in history, significance, and religious significance.
  • However, Jesus is greater than the temple (see Matthew 24:1).
  • ″I tell you, there is one here who is even bigger than the Temple!″ Jesus exclaimed to the Pharisees, referring to himself as ″the Son of Man.″ (Matthew 12:6; John 14:6) The temple served as a venue for the nation’s priests to intercede with God, and Jesus’ ministry of intercession is considerably more extensive (Hebrews 8:6).
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is bigger than the Sabbath.
  • The observance of the Sabbath was the sign of the Mosaic Covenant (Ezekiel 20:12), and the Jewish people were zealous in their efforts to uphold this symbol of their faith.
  1. At the time of Jesus’ arrival, He was living under the Law (Galatians 4:4), having fulfilled the Law (Matthew 5:17), and demonstrating that ″the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath″ (Matthew 12:8).
  2. Jesus is far more important than the church.
  3. It is God’s elect who have been summoned out of the world, rescued, justified, sanctified, and exalted, and this is what the church is about (Romans 8:30).
  4. ″A dazzling church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and spotless,″ the church will eventually become (Ephesians 5:27).
  5. Christ, on the other hand, is greater.

He is the Head of the church, which is His body.He is also the Head of the world (Colossians 1:18; cf.John 13:16; 15:20).Jesus is bigger than the angels in power and authority.Even though angels serve God, Jesus is the only begotten Son of the Father, who sits at the right hand of the Majesty on high, according to the Bible (Hebrews 1:3, 5; John 3:16).Every authority and power in heaven and on earth will one day submit to the authority and power of Christ (Philippians 2:10).

In the words of the apostle Paul, Jesus is ″as far superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs″ (Hebrews 1:4).The name of Jesus is more important than any other names.Jesus, the only begotten Son of God and the one and only sacrifice for sin, has been elevated to the highest degree.

God has bestowed upon Him ″the name that is beyond all other names″ (Philippians 2:9).The names of other historical figures, such as Buddha, Mohammed, Gandhi, Confucius, Krishna, Joseph Smith, and Sun Myung Moon, fall into insignificance when compared to the splendor of Jesus Christ and his atonement. Our name is Jesus, and it is His name that we proclaim to the ends of the globe, for it is only in His name that redemption may be discovered (Acts 4:12).’In Christ, the whole of the Deity exists in bodily form,’ says the Bible (Colossians 2:9).

Jesus, as the Word of God (John 1:1), is the most complete and complete revelation from God to man that has ever been given.God could not have spoken himself any more clearly.

10 Character Traits of Jesus To Emulate

The majority of people, Christians and non-Christians alike, believe that Jesus is the finest role model to have.People perceive the finest attributes that humans can have in him, such as his faith, persistence, charity, and even intelligence, which they admire.Because the Bible encourages everyone to strive to become more like Jesus on a daily basis, it is beneficial to learn about some of the characteristics He possessed.

  • There are 10 characteristics of Jesus that everyone should strive to mimic, and the following is a list of them.

1)  Compassionate

Jesus never turned away from anyone; rather, He constantly gazed upon them with kindness and concern (Matthew 9:36).When individuals were in his immediate vicinity, Jesus was able to discern their true needs and made an effort to meet those requirements. Some needed physical treatment, while others needed spiritual healing because the source of the problem was spiritual.

  • In all situations, however, Jesus took the time to genuinely observe that people were in distress—and His compassion moved Him to intervene to alleviate their suffering.

2)  Servant

Without a question, Jesus was the ideal servant in the New Testament. In spite of the fact that He had received high accolades and even had a respectable following, He made it a point to teach them the importance of serving others by actually doing it himself. In Mark 10:45, Jesus even assures everyone that ″the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve″: ″the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.″ Despite the fact that He had the ability to obtain everything he desired, receive acclaim, and be lavished with attention, He chose to do the exact opposite by humble himself and serving others.

3)  Loving

Clearly, Jesus cared about the well-being of others. In the absence of compassion and service, He would not be who He claims to be.Jesus said that there is no greater love than to die for a friend, and He demonstrated this claim by dying for one of His own.

  • Those who question His love just have to gaze to the cross and witness the anguish that He endured for their sakes to be convinced.
  • He had to go through that horrific death in order for everyone to be saved.
  • That, without a doubt, is the epitome of real love at its finest.

4)  Forgiving

It is in Luke 23:34 that Jesus, when on the cross, proclaims: ″Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.″ This is one of the most shocking statements ever spoken in the Bible.Even when He was bleeding and in anguish, Jesus had His heart focused on forgiveness—even forgiveness for those who had placed Him in that position in the first place! In stark contrast to the usual slogan of looking out for number one and getting personal justice, this is something that should be avoided.

  • Jesus was unconcerned about His own survival; all He desired was to provide a method of forgiveness for those who needed it.

5)  Committed

Jesus showed no signs of being uncommitted in any way.He was completely immersed in the present moment and completely devoted to his objectives, no matter where he was or who he was with. After spending hours in the Garden of Gethsemane pleading with the Father to save Him from bearing the cross and suffering all that physical anguish, He realized that it was the only way to atone for all human sin, and He remained entirely devoted to His mission.

  • There were obviously many difficulties He had to overcome during His mission, yet He remained focused and ended strong.

6)  Prayerful

He always found time to be alone and pray, no matter how hectic his ministry became.Whether it was in the garden of Gethsemane, across a river, or on a hillside, Jesus disappeared for a period of time in order to pray to the Father. The search for Him was never in vain; He never refused to accept anyone’s invitation to come find him; yet, He made it a priority to spend time with His heavenly Father.

7)  Gentleness

There were undoubtedly occasions when Jesus used strong words, but He also recognized when it was right to employ soothing words.Children appeared to like coming to him, and He made certain that the disciples were aware that they were not to obstruct them when they did so.When He is speaking with His followers, mother, or other females, He may be quite compassionate and kind in his tone.

  • In contrast, when He was rebuking someone or making a point in a debate, He recognized when it was important to turn up the heat and only did so in a strategic manner.

8)  Patience

Throughout the gospels, Jesus is always shown as a guy who is extremely patient. Indeed, He was surrounded by followers who continuously questioned Him, Pharisees and Sadducees who constantly assailed Him, and vast crowds who wouldn’t leave Him alone in the face of opposition. Despite everything, He maintained His calm and answered correctly to each and every individual.

9)  Self-Control

Before beginning His career, Jesus spent time in the desert, where He was tempted by the devil and ultimately rejected by him.Despite the fact that He was offered food, power, and a variety of other things, Jesus maintained complete control over his wants and submitted them completely to the Fa
