What Did Jesus Do For Me?

What Jesus Did for Me

  1. When we begin to comprehend and embrace what Jesus Christ has done for us, we will be motivated to love Him, to follow Him, to honor Him, to please Him, and to worship Him for what He has done for us.
  2. Consider a few of the things He has done for us throughout the years.
  3. …that in Him I might become spiritually wealthy (2 Corinthians 8:9).

1.Jesus became poor…You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that while He was rich, he became poor for your sakes, that you might be rich by his poverty (2 Corinthians 8:9).

Having said that, God is able to make every grace overflow toward you, so that you may always have sufficient resources in all things and abound in every good activity (2 Corinthians 9:8).2.Jesus was afflicted by hunger…Matthew 4:2 says that after he had fasted for forty days and forty nights, he felt hungry (Matthew 4:2)….that I would be completely and permanently satiated.

  1. They will no longer be hungry, nor will they thirst any longer (Revelation 7:16).
  2. 3.
  3. Jesus was depressed and lonely…
  4. From that point on, many of his disciples turned around and no longer walked with him.
  1. Then Jesus turned to the twelve and said, ″Will ye also walk away?″ …
  2. so that I would never be alone (John 6:66, 67).
  3. I will always be at your side, even if it means going to the end of the planet (Matthew 28:20).
  4. In Matthew 26:38, Jesus tells his disciples, ″My soul is very sad, even unto death: remain here with me, and watch with me,″ implying that he is experiencing extreme sorrow so that he might experience pleasure.
  5. These things have been communicated to you in order for my delight to stay in you and your joy to be fully realized in you (John 15:11).

5.Jesus was confronted with temptation…Then, by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was brought into the desert to be tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1)…in so that He may understand and assist me in overcoming temptation. Moreover, because he himself has gone through the process of temptation, he is qualified to succour those who are tempted (Hebrews 2:18).The disciples deserted Jesus and fled (Matthew 26:56)…

in order for me to become a member of an endless number. An enormous number of people of all countries and kindreds and peoples and languages, who no one could count, stood before the throne of God, and before the Lamb, clad in white garments and holding palm branches in their hands (Revelation 7:9).7.Jesus was crucified…When they arrived at the location, which is known as Calvary, they executed him there (Luke 23:33)….so that I would have eternal life.

  • Because God so loved the world that he gave his only born Son, that whomever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, God says in John 3:16.
  • (John 3:16).
  • 8.

Jesus humbled himself and took on the form of a servant, so that I may be adopted as a son of God (Philippians 2:7).Behold, what kind of love the Father has lavished upon us, that we might be called the children of God: as a result, the world knows nothing about us, since it knows nothing about him (1 John 3:1).9.

  • Men turned their backs on Jesus…
  • The Son of Man came to his own, and his own did not receive him (John 1:11)….
  • in so that I could be welcomed into communion with God and His people.
  • We are declaring to you what we have seen and heard in order that you may have company with us; and really, our relationship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3).
  • In order for me to defeat sin and gain a crown of triumph, I must look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who, for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has been seated at the right side of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).

Continue to be faithful until death, and I will reward thee with the crown of life (Revelation 2:10).11.Jesus was in a state of distress…Now my spirit is unsettled, and I’m not sure what to say.I have come to this hour for a reason, Father, but it is for this reason that I have come to this hour (John 12:27)…so that I may have peace that surpasses all comprehension Through Christ Jesus, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

12.Jesus was in a state of pain…He prayed even harder because he was in anguish, and his perspiration was like big drops of blood dropping to the ground (Luke 22:44)….in order that I could be of good consolation to you. Finally, my comrades, I bid you farewell.Maintain perfection and excellent comfort, maintain unity of thought, and maintain peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you (2 Corinthians 13:11).

13.Jesus was rejected…He is despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we did not regard him as valuable (Isaiah 53:3)….in order for me to be welcomed (Isaiah 53:4).Afterwards, the King will address them from his right hand, saying: Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom that has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world (Matthew 25:34).

14.Jesus was without a house…Matthew 8:20 says, ″The foxes have burrows, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has no place to lay his head.″…to provide me with an eternal home in glory (Matthew 8:20).There are many mansions in my Father’s home; if this were not the case, I would have informed you.

  • I’m going to set up a location for you (John 14:2).
  • Given that God loves us so much that He sent His Son to accomplish all of these things for us, how could we possibly refuse to give anything to Him in exchange?
  • How could we possibly reject to completely surrender our life to Him in love and obedience?
  • As the hymn writer put it, ″Would if the entire sphere of nature were mine, That would have been a gift much too modest; Love so great, so heavenly, demands my soul, my life, and my entire being.″ Call (540) 434-0768 for more information about Isaac Watts Christian Light Publications, Harrisonburg, VA 22802.

What Jesus has done for me

  • My GOD has done for me what no other human being has ever been able to do. He has forgiven me of my sin and accepted me as a child into His kingdom. I am eternally grateful. And His name is Jesus, and He has given of Himself and given me LOVE in return for my love for Him. Jesus has taken up residence in my heart and will never leave it. And it is Jesus who has provided me with tranquility that beyond everything I have ever experienced or can comprehend. In my desolate, barren, and thirsty spirit, He has given life to it since He alone is the source of all life. He has given me His life for the rest of my days and for all of eternity. It is because He is LOVE that He has bestowed His Love onto me
  • my GOD has shown mercy on me when I deserved none at all. No action on my part has resulted in His Mercy being extended to me. He gave it to me before I was even a thought in his mind. He knew I would never be able to come to Him in my current state as a sinner. He saw my need for a rescuer who would redeem me and restore me to a healthy relationship with Him. Because of GOD’s Mercy, He was able to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to the world and pay the penalty for my sin. In accordance with GOD’s law, my death (my blood) was necessary to atone for my sin
  • nevertheless, GOD, in His LOVE, enabled His Son to take upon Himself all of the sins of the world and pay the price I could never pay
  • my GOD extended to me His favor, which is known as Grace. He was under no obligation to do so, yet he did. The compassion of GOD for me was demonstrated by the death on the cross of His son, Jesus. I didn’t earn GOD’s favor, I didn’t give Him a hundred dollars, and I didn’t make any promises to be good. He was well aware that I would never be able to keep that commitment. The fact that I am famous, influential, or any other silly man-made label or form of self-worship did not earn me this position. Just to put it another way, God extended His compassion to me because He cherished me and not because of anything I am or have done. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or how you appear, God offers His Grace to everyone regardless of your circumstances. Through His Son, Jesus Christ, God has extended His Love to everyone. He did this before we were even born, and he did it while fully aware of who we were. sinners in desperate need of the redeeming LOVE of His Son The problem is that not everyone chooses to embrace His LOVE, despite the fact that it is available to everyone
  • My GOD revealed to me the source of my sin. GOD made it possible for me to realize my ugliness and the Sin that it was. I was a sinner who lived for my own pleasures and in accordance with my own desires. My sense of self-worth or pride was powerful, ugly, and entrenched, its tentacles covering my entire body. Looking in the mirror, I envisioned a horrifying death in the depths of Hell. I realized how pitiful my heart was. I realized that, despite my best efforts, I have no redeeming qualities at all. Self-life may manifest itself in a variety of ways in order to achieve its goals and aspirations. Make no mistake about it, sin is deceitful and will ultimately ruin you. Sin’s objective is to murder, steal, and destroy everything in his path. Its falsehoods about goodness, money, and power should not be believed. My GOD assisted me in seeing that my personal life needed to be addressed, and that it needed to be addressed quickly
  • My GOD provided me with the sole answer to my dilemma! A VISION from GOD revealed to me that His Son, Jesus, had already paid the penalty for my sin a long time ago and that my guilt could be forgiven if I repented and trusted in Him and what He had accomplished for me. My self-life might be defeated and my sin could be forgiven if I trusted in Jesus. My GOD was presenting me with the gift of eternal life in paradise rather than in hell. MY GOD was showering me with LOVE
  • MY GOD revealed to me His plan for my redemption, which included His Son, whom he had sent into this world to serve as my Savior. No doubt, I recognized the need for salvation as a result of what GOD had revealed to me earlier concerning my sin (my own life) and the death penalty I was facing. GOD informed me that no matter how good I was on my own, it would never be enough to atone for my sin. I believed him. It is impossible for me to be pardoned for something I could possibly have done on my own. I was in debt and had no way of repaying it. GOD demonstrated to me that forgiveness could only be obtained through the killing of His Son on the cross and the resurrection of His body. Jesus had paid the fee that had been demanded of me by writing a check to GOD in the form of His own blood. Jesus paid the price that I would never be able to pay. It was through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, that I received forgiveness
  • my GOD granted me forgiveness on my terms. My pardon would only be granted if I admitted that I was a sinner. Once I believed and accepted what Jesus had done for me on the cross, I had to believe and accept that He had risen from the dead and is now alive and sitting in the heavenly kingdom. Once I admitted that I was a sinful person, I could beg Jesus to pardon me for my disobedience to his commands. The most important step in asking Jesus to pardon my wrongdoing was to approach Him directly. It was necessary for me to inquire. No one could ever come up to me and beg for me. My baptism as a child had also failed to satisfy my sin debt. Going to church, or even going to a certain church, could not be ruled out. The fact that you were raised by Christian parents or that you were always good wouldn’t cut it either. No, it was my responsibility to acknowledge and inquire. When I accepted what Jesus accomplished for me and believed that Jesus died and rose again in payment for my sin, confessed to Jesus that I was a sinner, and personally begged Him to enter into my life and take charge of it, GOD granted me eternal life in His presence with no conditions. What do you think is better? I don’t have anything since my GOD gave me Heaven. Heaven is the place where GOD resides. God’s radiance, his beauty, his holiness, and the essence of his existence may be seen throughout Heaven. The children of GOD are never tired of praising and worshiping His holiness. As a result of GOD’s presence in Heaven, there is love, peace, and relaxation. In Heaven, there is no such thing as sin, suffering, hurt, sobbing, or any other harmful or destructive thing. These things are not possible. But, most significantly, my GOD is in Heaven, and I will have the opportunity to worship Him and be with Him for the remainder of my life
  • my GOD has provided me with serenity and tranquility. He has provided me with a sense of security. He has given me hope and assistance when no one else could. My GOD has removed every grief, hurt, and unforgiveness from my life in an instant. He has lavished His peace and love on me in ways that I will never be able to comprehend. GOD gave me the power to forgive and love when I had previously lacked these abilities. Thank you very much, Jesus! What happiness I’ve experienced since then
  • It’s something I recall vividly. In prayer, I engaged in a week-long wrestling match with GOD. I knew I had to forgive because He had instructed us to do so. Unforgiveness is a form of hatred, and hatred in the heart is the same as killing someone. When we have any feelings of unforgiveness in our hearts, we are unable to be in God’s will. But, in any case, I recall that I had been in a state of upheaval due to my feelings of unforgiveness. There was a great deal of suffering that I created and that was inflicted upon me. What I couldn’t fathom was how things could possibly be any different. All I knew was that I needed to forgive people, and that I couldn’t do it on my own because I was too hurt. Yes, I attempted that, but it was unsuccessful. The sentiments and sadness were still there, and I was quickly reverted to my old ways of being resentful. About a week later, when I was driving back to my apartment by myself, GOD just removed my feelings of unforgiveness and filled my heart with gladness. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I’d never experienced anything like this before. It’s virtually impossible to describe. He was the one who did it. All the way home, I sobbed and thanked God for everything. My GOD has blessed me with JOY! My heart was flooded with an indescribable, uncontrollable bliss! It was only then that I realized why on earth I hadn’t taken the initiative before. What on earth was I thinking? Why would I want to cling on to all of the garbage in my life when I might enjoy His Joy? What was I thinking? No matter how hard I try, I don’t want to return to that position of anguish, hurt, and unforgiveness. You can’t justify holding on to something when you may be free and full of His Joy. I don’t want to hold on to anything that represents my self-life (pride) any more. My self-life(sin) is the only thing that keeps me tethered to death. Amounts of money, people, a home, a vehicle, a life, or anything else on this planet are nothing compared to the joy and freedom I have discovered in my GOD, His Son Jesus Christ, and His Spirit
  • my GOD has provided me with freedom through Him
  • my GOD has provided me with joy and freedom through Him. The freedom I experience comes from following His Will. His Will is always right for me, no matter what. My selfish, domineering, and imprisoning self-will is constantly present in my life. It is my self-will that holds me enslaved to feelings of pride, dissatisfaction, turmoil, suffering and the list goes on.
  • In contrast, when I am faithful to GOD’s Will, I am able to relax and find comfort in His presence. I have the freedom to live joyfully because of Him. His Will never, ever causes me any discomfort. Even though it appears to be sad to the outer world, God’s will is always beneficial for me in every situation. I may never understand why He has chosen to do anything in my life, but I can trust Him because He has proven Himself to be reliable and trustworthy in the past. It is because He is the One True Living Deity, the Creator of all things and the Sustainer of all things, that my GOD has done more for me than any human or bogus god could have done. He, GOD, LOVE, has given me a life with Him in His home place for the rest of my days. He has poured His LOVE into my dry well to overflowing proportions. His Grace sustains me on a daily basis, and His Mercy is fresh with each new day. My GOD has made promises to me that I am confident He will keep. My GOD has promised to accompany me on all of my journeys, and His hand is always under me, guiding and supporting me along the way. I have a living GOD who is concerned about me, loves me without condition, and desires for me to be His kid. My GOD gave me a GIFT when He demonstrated His LOVE for me via His own Son, Jesus. A gift is anything that is given to you by another person. You are not required to work for it or make any kind of payment for it. Currently, in this fallen society, we are continually inundated with the message that we must do something in order to be granted a gift. Santa has a nice and a naughty list for everyone on his list. Parents have the same list and conditionally provide affection to their children, despite the fact that most of them attempt not to. We are continually taught that we must do this in order to obtain that. Performance is the name of the game, and it is both unsightly and self-serving in its nature.
  1. GOD, on the other hand, is not like that.
  2. He gave me His Son as a gift with no conditions attached.
  3. I’m unable to make up for His generosity in any manner, shape, or form.

There are no performance requirements that I am required to adhere to.There will be no under-the-table money or credits granted as a result of my assistance in cleaning Aunt Martha’s gutters.I’m unable to pay enough money to the church or to obtain any special dispensations of any type for any reason.

Make all of the justifications you want; GOD isn’t concerned with what you consider to be your particular difficulties or difficulties. He is aware of what they are.You received them from him.The only thing that matters to Him is that He has a personal connection with you via His Son, Jesus Christ. The fact why He desires for you to dwell with Him in Heaven is due to the fact that He understands that it is impossible for humanity to reach Heaven on their own.

  1. GOD alone has supplied the way to salvation via the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.
  1. Would you wish to embrace Jesus as your Savior and allow Him to rule over your life as your LORD and SAVIOR?

60 reasons why Jesus Christ is everything to me

  1. He is the source of my tranquility. From where I sit, there can be turmoil and tumult wherever, as long as I am with him
  2. he is my delight. I don’t require any other source of joy since He is the atonement for all of my sins. He has thrown all of my sins into the sea of forgetfulness, where they will remain forever. It doesn’t matter if I make a mistake again
  3. He will forgive me since this sin has been atoned for as well
  4. He is my sanctifier. He will purify me again and over again for as long as I live. I am being transformed by the work of his death, which is creating more space for the life of Christ in me. He is my Shepherd, according to 2 Corinthians 4:12. Even though no one else is concerned for my well-being, He does so consistently and diligently day and night
  5. He is the object of my adoration. If there is no other subject or reason for singing praises, He is the only one I can think of
  6. He is my capital. I don’t require any further funds. If that isn’t enough, then nothing will be enough
  7. he is my source of income. Unless that succeeds, everything will fail

  9. he is my future. I fix my gaze on Him. I’m on my way to meet with Him. Then I have a promising and lengthy future ahead of me. Hallelujah! He is my one and only Lord and ruler, and I am grateful. I have declared Him to be my Lord and Savior in my heart. (15:15) (1 Peter 3:15) I have surrendered to Him, totally assured in the flawless goodness of His leadership and commandments
  10. He is my father and mother. He is my family. He is my mother, sister, and brother

Even if no one else empowers me or instructs me on how to fight battle, He is a great warrior and the leader of God’s army, and I can rely on Him. He is no weakling
  16. in fact, he is my resting place. I could still find a wonderful place of rest in Him, despite the fact that my physical body had neither bed nor pillow. He is my storehouse, after all. Every step has already been taken by Him in the past. He has been put through his paces in every aspect, just like I am putting myself through right now and will continue to do so. What a source of comfort that is
  21. he is my source of comfort. This level of comfort is adequate for me
  22. He is my Supreme Judge. It doesn’t matter what other people think of me because he is my preferred meal. He is the source of all nourishment. His flesh is certainly nourishment, yet he is also my source of fun and pleasure. All other forms of enjoyment pale in contrast to him

As an alternative to going my own way and ″going about my own business,″ I choose to put my trust in Him, in His will and work. Due to the fact that I do this every day of the week throughout the year, I regard (as written) all days to be the same. Sabbath rest on a continuous basis! God is to be thanked since He is the Giver of all good things. He is my sanctuary, and I don’t have to keep my eyes peeled for other donors to find him. I won’t have to waste time searching for broken cisterns on a rainy day since He is the spring of my existence. ″You are the source of all my springs.″ verse 7 of Psalm 87

A surprising number of Christians have never been informed what Jesus has done for them in his death and resurrection. To be sure, they are aware that Christ has died and risen from the dead, but they have little understanding of how this amazing historical event impacts them both now and in the future. As a consequence, when we think of Christ’s death, some of us either feel guilty for asking Him to pay such a high price for us, or we have no idea what to make of it all; yet it is much too beautiful to remain in the dark about what He accomplished.

So what exactly did Jesus do?

No You Can’t.

  1. Since the Garden of Eden, mankind have demonstrated an inability to perform well.
  2. The human heart has shown to be profoundly evil, despite the fact that it was born into this world with a sinful nature (Psalm 51:5).
  3. (Jeremiah 17:9).

As a result, when God looks down upon the earth to see whether there is anybody who is smart and who seeks after God, He discovers that there is no one (Romans 3:9-20).Many people will say, ″But there are so many wonderful individuals in the world!″ They will counter. To this remark, the question is posed: ″Good in comparison to whom?″ Do you want to include them into your circle of friends?

Maybe. What would you say to your family members?Sure. But what does it matter when compared to a Holy, Righteous, Consuming Fire of a God who cannot bear to even look at a single blemish? This isn’t even close.

  1. Therefore, even when it appears that we are doing well, we should remember that our righteousness, i.e., our good acts, no matter how good they look to us, are like filthy rags in the eyes of God (Isaiah 64:6).
  2. Because God’s eyes are too clean to even look at sin, He expects PERFECT OBEDIENCE on our part (Habakkuk 1:13).
  3. Our audacious belief that we can follow God in our own strength (Exodus 19:8), like the Israelites who stood at the foot of Mount Sinai, will ultimately fail us, just as it has in the past (Romans 3:23).

Yes. He did.

  1. Jesus, on the other hand, complied.
  2. When the Father expected faultless obedience, Jesus went above and beyond what we were able to achieve.
  3. The entire time he was alive, he followed the Father’s commands in all he did, even to death on the cross (Philippians 2:6-8).

He was tested in every manner, yet he remained sinless (Hebrews 4:15).He was able to succeed where Adam, Israel, and we were unable to.Consequently, when we are in Christ, we are not considered as sinners who deserve the wrath of God, but rather as children of God.

We are treated as though we are law-abiding citizens who have never breached the law.For God allowed Jesus, who had never sinned, to be treated as if he had, in order that you and I may acquire a righteousness that is not our own (Philippians 3:8-9), and that we might become the righteousness of God (Philippians 3:10).(2 Corinthians 5:21).Take a deep breath and process it for a moment.Your sins have been paid for in full.

  1. It is not as though God has pretended as if your misdeeds never happened to him.
  2. No, your misdeeds have indeed been punished – to the fullest extent possible.
  3. But definitely not on you.
  4. In order for us to live, God’s anger was poured out on Jesus, and when God opens our hearts to genuinely believe this, it becomes the most life-altering, earth shattering, and heartwarming reality in the universe….

Now, You Can.

  1. Jesus did not just absolve us of our sins; he also provided us with eternal life.
  2. He has also released us from the shackles of slavery.
  3. The Holy Spirit is now at work within us, sanctifying us and molding us into more and more like Christ as we look upon Him more and more (2 Corinthians 3:18).

To put it another way, we are transformed when we focus on the reality of the Gospel and place our faith in Christ’s accomplished work rather than our own capacity to do it.God takes away our heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh, a heart that will eventually submit to Him and His will (Ezekiel 36:26-27).In this process, God gives us the ability to eventually comply (Philippians 2:12-13) and do His will (Philippians 2:12-13).

Moreover, as if all of this were not enough. As a result of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, we are able to approach God with confidence, as if we were a child rather than a slave (Hebrews 4:16).We are more liberated than we would be with our own earthly parent in this situation. We take a little more liberties than we would with our closest companion. That is to say, when Christ was on the cross and screamed, ″It is finished!″ it indicated that all required to be done in order for us to be saved had already been accomplished.

  1. For want of a better expression, there is nothing that can make God love you more or less than He already does right now.
  2. There is nothing you can do to make Him accept you more or less than He already does.
  3. There was nothing left to do but do what needed to be done.
  4. Because Jesus has already accomplished it.
  1. Christ alone deserves all of the praise and credit.
  2. Discuss: Would you mind sharing your ideas on how Christ’s work has impacted your life?
  3. Today, take a moment to tell someone you know about Christ’s work by telling them about this website.
  4. The following is the next installment in the series: What is the best way to follow Jesus?

What did Jesus actually do for us? — DesireJesus.com

  1. Imagine going to a church worship session and never hearing the gospel message taught or preached.
  2. That is what it would be like.
  3. Unfortunately, there have been several instances in the past when this has been an issue, and it continues to be a source of concern in some situations today.

We have a tendency to lose sight of who Jesus is and what He has decided to achieve on our behalf.Reading the Scriptures can provide us with the opportunity to gain new insight into a subject matter. The value of being reminded of something we already know but haven’t necessarily thought about in a long time comes in other situations.

Fortunately, the part of Scripture that we’re going to examine contains both of these advantages as well.Christians will learn something new as they consider the book’s content, while others will be reminded of topics they haven’t thought about in a long time. What would our lives be like if we didn’t have Jesus in them? What type of future would we be looking forward to right now if He hadn’t stepped in to help us out?It may be far too easy for us to get complacent in our grasp of what He has done on our behalf at times, and this can lead to serious consequences.

  1. We’ve become so accustomed to the advantages He provides that we don’t stop to contemplate the type of mess we’d be in if He didn’t exist.
  2. This section of Scripture allows us to have a better understanding of some of the things Jesus did for us that were evident to us as well as some of the things that were hidden from us.
  3. It is important to recognize that the work He has done on our behalf is considerably more significant and far more effective than we frequently appreciate.

1. Jesus experienced death and resurrection in order to defeat sin’s power in our lives

  1. Throughout my life, I have sprained my right ankle on a number of occasions.
  2. Two of the sprains were considered serious.
  3. I couldn’t even walk properly.

My leg was swelled almost all the way up to my knee and had changed colors many times. When the injuries were new, it seemed as though the anguish and suffering would last forever, but it did, gradually, eventually end.My leg and ankle have recovered, but I have noticed that they are more prone to re-injury in the future.

During Christ’s earthly career, His body was subjected to cruel treatment.Jesus was subjected to and faced every manner of hostility at the hands of the same people He had so tenderly created in the beginning. However, His suffering was only for a short period of time.He is not in pain at this time.I see depictions of Him suffering on a daily basis, and I realize that some theological traditions maintained by some Christian denominations approach communion as if it were a reenactment of Jesus’ crucifixion, but this is not the truth.

  1. Jesus died on the cross once to atone for our sins.
  2. He is not trapped in a situation of constant agony and pain.
  3. There are ramifications to sin.
  4. Before humans sinned against God, we were told that if we did not maintain a close relationship with the Lord, we would perish in the process.
  1. We went ahead and did it anyhow, and as a result, we were condemned to an eternity of condemnation and isolation from God.
  2. Every single one of us was guilty, and none of us could rectify the situation since we were all guilty of the same offense.
  3. The solution to the dilemma was provided by Jesus, who entered into the mess we had made and addressed the issue.
  4. In order for us to be saved, Jesus took on flesh and became a man, suffering the punishment we deserved.
  5. Despite the fact that we were guilty, He was righteous.

The righteous died in the place of the guilty in order to appease God’s anger against our sin and subsequently to bless us with the gift of His righteousness, which we lacked at the time of our transgression. As a result, Jesus arose from the dead by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Those who put their faith in Jesus can now look forward to experiencing resurrection, since the Holy Spirit indwells everyone who believes. As a result, we no longer have to be controlled by sin, Satan, or the dread of death. In our lives, Christ has conquered their power because of his sacrifice.

2. Jesus proclaimed His victory over those who were defeating us

  1. There is a great deal of disagreement over what is intended by these passages.
  2. Some of the issues raised by this chapter are constantly argued by theologians, and I don’t expect that we will be able to resolve all of the issues raised by these lines today in our discussion.
  3. But there are a couple of things I’d want to bring out about what Jesus kindly accomplished for us.

The verse paints a picture in my mind’s eye of Jesus announcing His triumph over those who took pleasure in defeating His people. In the course of our reading through the pages of Scripture, we discover several interesting facts concerning the spirit realm.According to legend, there are such entities as angels and demonic beings.

Angels and devils aren’t the same as those who’ve died in the physical world. They are a distinct and independently formed order of entities.Indeed, demons are fallen angels that rebelled against the Lord and decided to follow the example of Satan, another fallen angel, rather than the will of God.It is recorded in the Bible that this world was populated with people who were in a state of constant rebellion against God in the days before the great flood. We’re also given the sense that fallen angels may have had children with human women, which would have contributed to the depravity that existed on the planet, much to God’s chagrin at the time.

  1. There is evidence to suggest that these fallen angels have been sent into hell, where they will await final judgment.
  2. During this historical period, the Lord instructed Noah to construct an ark.
  3. The ark was enormous.
  4. Noah and his family worked on it for 120 years until they were finally finished.
  1. People would almost probably have seen it and inquired about it during that time period.
  2. In this way, it served as a visual reminder that judgment was approaching.
  3. The fact that they could have chosen to repent of their disbelief toward God every time they looked at it and considered what it meant is a testament to their character.
  4. They did not.
  5. When the floodwaters rolled in, just eight individuals were able to get inside the ark.

The remainder of mankind perished as a result of this catastrophe. As part of his campaign against mankind, Satan pushes us to insult the God who created us and gave us life. The fallen angels that work in Satan’s service do the exact same thing as well.1 Peter 3:19 might be referring to a moment following Christ’s resurrection and ascension when He revealed the triumph He had won over the fallen angels who had been fighting against mankind throughout human history, according to certain interpretations.Jesus has stated that their attempts to undermine mankind and God’s goals for His most valuable creation have failed, and that they will not succeed in their endeavors.

3. Jesus has allowed us to identify with Him

  1. The other night, my family and I were watching a classic sitcom together.
  2. One of the major characters was about to begin high school in the story.
  3. In the hopes of making good friends with the coolest person in school on his first day, he planned to spend the rest of the day getting to know him and learning more about him.

The cool person, on the other hand, did not want this new student to become acquainted with him.We are fortunate in that this is not the case.Jesus, the one who spoke the universe into being, permits us to identify with Him and share in His glory.

It is through Baptism that we become associated with Him in our own situation. The act of baptism is mentioned several times in the Bible. When we put our faith in Jesus, we are taught that we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, joined with Christ, and united with one another. What does this mean?A visual manifestation of what the Holy Spirit has done for us is also practiced, in the form of water baptism, which we do.

  1. While some individuals believe that water baptism has the ability to save a lost soul, such thinking is incorrect.
  2. The objective of water baptism is not to save a soul.
  3. Even Peter himself admits that the baptism that saves is not the washing away of filth from the person’s body.
  4. Saving faith in Jesus Christ results in salvation as a result of an act of God’s grace, which is received as a result of believing in him.
  1. Water baptism is a tangible sign of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which took place the moment we accepted Christ as our Savior.
  2. The point being made here is that Jesus permits us to identify with Him by allowing us to identify with Him.
  3. He has bestowed upon us the gift of His righteousness, and He is not ashamed to refer to us as His brothers and sisters in Christ.
  4. Because of His resurrection, He was able to break the power of sin over us, and today, as forgiven believers in Him, He has bestowed upon us the gift of a clear conscience in the eyes of God.
  5. We may confidently approach God the Father, knowing that when He looks at us, He will see the righteousness of Christ present in our hearts and minds.

4. Jesus rules and reigns with perfect judgement

  1. Just the other day, I read a news item that said that an increasing number of individuals were having difficulty getting a decent night’s sleep.
  2. On being asked why, many of those who responded stated that they were kept up at night by their dread of international leaders making wrong or potentially hazardous judgments.
  3. They called into question the judgment of those who had been entrusted with the authority to lead nations and make governmental policy in their own countries.

However, while it is a source of concern for me as well, and while I am also a poor sleeper, these are not the types of problems that are keeping me up at night because I have faith in what this Scripture says is true.Despite the fact that human leaders regularly fail us, our ultimate hope should never be placed in the hands of those we elect to public office. They are capable of doing good, but they are not a substitute for Jesus.

According to this passage of Scripture, Jesus is seated at the right side of God the Father.Even if there are many people on this planet who do not yet live in accordance with this truth, He is the ruler of all creation. However, there is a day coming when Heaven and Earth will be joined, and Christ will rule with fairness, kindness, and perfect justice, as evidenced by his visible rule.It is possible for world peace to be achieved when the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, sits on the throne and directs the course of events.Isn’t it incredible to think of everything that Jesus has done for us and all that He has yet to accomplish?

  1. He suffered for us, conquered sin’s power over us, announced His triumph to those who were determined to defeat us, permits us to identify with Him via baptism, and He governs and reigns with perfect justice and kindness on the earth.
  2. He is the Son of God.
  3. When we become too preoccupied with ourselves or our day-to-day circumstances, it is easy to lose sight of these advantages.
  4. The tremendous grace of our Savior and Lord, on the other hand, is brought to our attention on a regular basis by the word of God.
  1. John Stange published an article in 2017 titled

What does Jesus do for Me?

  1. Read Romans 5:1-11 to have a better understanding.
  2. Jesus saves and gives to those who believe.
  3. It was Christ who saved us: It was Jesus who saved us!

Because not everyone has been rescued, Christ’s atonement does not apply to everyone; this is referred to as ″Limited Atonement″ (not meaning that His work and sacrifice was not sufficient).if it were available to everyone, then there would be universal salvation, which means that everyone, regardless of their religious or philosophical beliefs, would be saved (John 6:35-57; 10:15-18; 27-29; 11:51-52; Eph.1:3-14; Gal.2:20; 3:13-14; 4:4; 5:1; 1 Pet.

1:20; 1 John 4:9-10; Rev.1:4-6; 5:9-10; 22:17).Despite the fact that Christ’s Godhood and might were not restricted in any way, His salvation was intended solely for those whom He chose and predestined to be used by God for His purposes.Christ alters us in the following ways: Due to the fact that it is the mechanism by which those who place their faith in Jesus Christ are transported from the world of sin and death into the realm of the Spirit and life, the Gospel is the ongoing operation of divine power! The most important and essential feature of our lives is that we have been saved and redeemed, and we received it at the exact moment we recognized we needed help!Christ has redeemed us: Those of us who have been justified by faith are now at peace with God.

  1. Because of all He has done for us and the promise of a future Heaven, we are encouraged to rejoice and magnify God even in the face of difficulties.
  2. God’s unfailing love for us was demonstrated to us when He reconciled us to Himself by the sacrifice of his Son, even when we were still worthless sinners and His ″enemy″ (as the Bible puts it).
  3. The created order has been restored in the righteousness of Christ (John 10:15), and we have been transformed into a completely new creature as a result of His work (Solus Christus, ″by Christ alone″).
  4. Christ makes atonement for our sins: Atonement literally means ″covering,″ meaning that Christ covered us with His righteousness so that God would not be able to see our sin and would not be tainted by us.
  1. In the Old Testament, atonement was performed by animal sacrifice, which hid sins but did not remove them, as Christ does for us.
  2. It is Christ who takes away our sins: Christ does not hold our transgressions against us anymore.
  3. Consequently, we are right with God because of Christ rather than because of our faith and obedience.
  4. Christ has paid our debt, and as a result, we are right with God.
  5. The fruit and confirmation of our faith and obedience are our actions.

As a result, salvation is not based on reasoning or knowledge (2 Cor.5:17-19).It is not a matter of optimism or wishful thinking, but rather the reality of God’s love. Our relationship with God is established via the person of Jesus Christ.Christ’s salvation washed away our sins and enabled us to remain in faith for the glory of God.Our salvation is assured by Christ, and God encourages us to rejoice and magnify Him no matter what occurs or what we go through, since He has experienced more than we have.

Our trust is in Christ and His character—not in our own self-worth, but in ″Christ-esteem″ instead!Christ is just and righteous: This passage from Romans (5:1-21) responds to the common criticism that sin is unjustified. One man, Adam, brought sin into the world, and it spread to all people; the grace of God, which justifies us, came into the world via one man, God, and it spread to all people.Adam, like the rest of us, deserved to die; Christ, on the other hand, did not.As a result, it is unjust to God, not to us!Because of the law, we have demonstrated that we deserve to die in our sins; but, we are promised the greater, overflowing love of grace, which is described as ″reigning through righteousness into eternal life through Jesus Christ.″ Grace is given to us by Christ: Grace was not a last-minute addition to God’s design, but rather an integral component of it from the beginning.

  • As a result of His love and kindness, Jesus Christ is able to transcend the confines of our sin and provide us His Grace.
  • It is true that grace saves us, but it also accomplishes a great deal more.
  • It provides us with the joy we need to face the challenges of life.

He provides us the strength to persist and gives our lives a sense of purpose and significance. He accomplishes this via the power of His Spirit and love!He opens the door to Himself for us.

  • It is God’s unfailing love that keeps us firmly linked in grace and committed to His greater glory in our lives.
  • We would rapidly slip back into our sin and lose sight of who we are in Christ if we were left to our own devices, much as the Israelites did throughout the Old Testament, particularly in Judges 2.
  • God has always treated people with grace, beginning with Adam and continuing through the Patriarchs, prophets, and everyone in between.
  • The Old Testament provides us with a better understanding of the struggle and limitation of the Law.
  • We are all descendants of Adam; we had no say in our first birth, but we had to learn from it (John 16:33).

Holy Spirit is the glue that holds us together and helps us to grow as a community. As a result of our sin, He takes us in and reconciles us, making us no longer His enemies but rather His friends again (John 14-15).Christ justifies us in the following ways: Justification implies that God has not only forgiven and welcomed you, but that He has also covered you with the righteousness of Christ in order to make you right with Him.As a result, you have gained God’s approval.Justification is more than simply insurance against Hell; it is also a source of blessings that lasts forever. We have actual riches in the implications of justification, which is our access to God through the Holy Spirit as a result of what Christ has done.

The fact that Christ died in our place demonstrates a facet of His Love. The love that emanates from us comes not from ourselves, but from God, who sends His Spirit to guide us (1 Cor.13).We cannot demonstrate love; all we can do is respond to it and obey it.All of this occurred in God’s timing (John 17:1; Acts 2:23; Gal.4:4), and as a result, we must place our faith in God and His timing rather than our own.

Christ provides us with riches: Even the most insignificant of our blessings, such as how great it is to be a Christian, are priceless. We have love, hope, joy, and grace at our disposal. We have access to God at all time; if riches were dependent on our deeds, they would be restricted to what we accomplished, and we can do nothing to please God on our own, leaving us with nothing of eternal value. We have access to God at any moment.Christ provides us with peace: Peace signifies that we have been reconciled with God and are no longer His adversaries, as we were while we were in sin.

The fact that our sins are covered and removed from His sight gives us confidence and hope; yet, it is only by faith that we may accept and enjoy these blessings.A God who is all-knowing and all-powerful cannot be influenced by our conceptions of fairness. This understanding contributes to our sense of well-being!Christ is our strength and comfort in difficult times: Trials, according to Romans 8:28, work in our favor rather than against us.They genuinely aid in the advancement of one’s spiritual life!

  • The difficulties we encounter are referred to as tribulations.
  • God does not always remove them from our lives; rather, He takes us through them and utilizes them to help us mature and develop our personalities.
  • Trials strengthen our faith and character, helping us to be more effective in serving God.
  • Trials are not a personal assault on us, but rather an opportunity for God to work in us in a more profound way so that we might be of greater service to Him in the lives of others.
  • What we give to Jesus is our appreciation.
  • Are you aware of everything that Jesus has done for you?
  • Our relationship with God is established via the person of Jesus Christ.
  • Christ’s redemption consists in the fact that He has taken away our sins and has saved us in faith for the glory of God!

The issue now is, what are you going to do with this? What kind of life do you want to lead?We profess our repentance before Christ: Repentance does not rescue us; rather, it is the realization of our redemption that brings us to this point. As Christians, we must keep our attention on the cause (Christ) rather than the consequence (what He has done), since the effect will come from a natural desire, resulting in development and maturity.

Our responsibility is to care for the chicken, not the eggs, because the eggs will come regardless of how well we care for the chicken. We give ourselves to Christ in the following ways: Our identity is based solely on who we are in Christ; nothing else matters. When we fully comprehend that the love of Christ has been poured out in us, we are able to identify with Him and find our identity in Him.We will be able to identify Christ’s interests in others over our own interests (John 15:3; Rom.9:3; 1 Cor.9:22).

  1. (John 15:3; Rom.
  2. 9:3; 1 Cor.
  3. 9:22).
  4. We need not be frustrated or filled with worry when we have Christ (1 John 4:17-19).
  5. (1 John 4:17-19).

We give Christ our service: True service is doing things for others that we really do not like to do (2 Cor.12:15).(2 Cor.

12:15).Our service must not be guided by our desires or our needs. When we think ″we are all that,″ (holy) we are of no use to Him.All we do is isolate ourselves into a sub-culture when God calls us to be salt and light.

Our goal is not to serve, but to be His children, and that devotion will lead us to serve. We are to keep our eyes on Him, to keep our mind on Him!We give Christ our love:Love is not in our nature.

  1. Our response is to put Jesus first (John 15:12; 21:17; 2 Pet.
  2. 1:5-7; 3:9; 3 John 7) and let Him work in our lives.
  3. Thus, God will bring us to people and situations we may not like so we will learn true love.
  4. Love is also disciplined, constant, and spontaneous.
  5. We give Christ our growth: Because our greatest problem has been solved and the barrier between us and God has been removed, we are no longer separated from God.
  6. Christ will meet us in our deepest need.
  1. We can be committed to growing in Him.
  2. Our justification is not an escape from the bad things that happen; it is a starting point to build and develop character, patience, and dependence on God’s grace, as Abraham did by faith.
  3. We are accountable for our choices.
  4. This is what Discipleship is about; it is our response of passion and obedience to our Lord and to His love.
  1. We have to see the magnificent aspect of what Christ has done for us.
  2. We need to see the joy (James 1:2-4) and the hope (Heb.
  3. 6:18-19) we are given.

This is foundational to life and liberty.Without hope, we cannot persevere in life effectively, because we would give up and become captivated by correction or oppressed into drudgery. This hope gives us the road on which to drive our maturity and spiritual growth.

  • As we go through life, we learn; and, when we learn, we grow; and, when we grow, we develop character and hone and improve our worship of Christ.
  • This builds our personality and lets us be better used in the lives of others.
  • Our character and what He is doing in our lives are our true treasures.
  • And, this richness is so much more tangible and impressive than what the world offers.
  • To take this hope to new levels and apply it with passion and conviction, we have to see who we are in Him.
  • We must be careful that our faith is developed from God’s nature and not ours!

This hope will not just fuel our liberty but also our worship because we praise God for what He has done.Do you realize what Jesus Christ has done in you?Questions:

  1. Who is Jesus for you? Who should He be?

Is there anything Jesus can do to assist you when you’re sad and out of sorts? What can He do to assist you?

You may not have considered the fact that our genuine riches are not derived from what we produce, earn, or do. Rather, our true riches derive from the implications of our rationale.

What does it mean to be a magnificent Christian who is brimming with love, hope, joy, and grace when ″our treasures″ are in the form of a wonderful Christian?

What is/was the barrier that had been standing between us and God that has now been removed?

In your opinion, what does it mean that you now have certainty and hope and that your sin and shame have been washed away? However, it must be accepted and received by whom and by what means is this accomplished?

What exactly is the function of repentance? How can you maintain repentance at the top of your to-do list and on the forefront of your thoughts in your Christian walk?

What actions do you need to do in order to allow your wish for development and maturity in your life to be realized?

How can you demonstrate to people that faith and obedience are the fruits and evidence of the Christian life, rather than the instigators of it?

What is it about life that you find frustrating? What exactly do you need to do to get rid of your frustrations? What can Jesus do to assist you?

The foundation of our faith is in Christ and His character, not in ourselves. So, how can you put this ″Christ-esteem″ into practice?

″True service is doing for others what we would rather not do for ourselves.″ So, what activities do you despise doing?

Do you have any ideas about what you may do to remind yourself that your identity is rooted in Christ and nothing else?

  1. When was a time that Christ met you in your deepest need?

The Christian faith has a primary purpose or ″prime directive″ (to use a Star Trek term) that must be achieved.

What are some of the ways that challenges may help you grow spiritually? Lots of Christians believe that only those who are sinful or have little faith suffer the consequences of their actions, and that if you have enough faith, you will be blessed. Is this something from the Bible? If yes, what is the reason behind this? If not, what is the reason behind this?

The answer of love is to place Jesus at the forefront of our thoughts and actions. So, what is the best way to go about it?

In what ways can you grow in your ability to be better and have more character by accepting and learning from God’s provision of people and situations you do not enjoy?

How do you conduct your life in such a way that it indicates that you have been restored in the righteousness of Christ as a completely new creation?

Taking care to ensure that our faith is derived from God’s nature rather than from ours is essential. So, what is the best way to go about it?

What Did Jesus Do? – ConsiderJesusChrist.org

  • Jesu Christ is unquestionably an exceptional guy. Over 300 predictions were written by prophets, each containing astounding information concerning His life. Some of the prophesies were penned several hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ! His conception and birth were surely one-of-a-kind. He was born in an unusual and magical manner. In the days to come, a virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, whom she will name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14). Due to His lack of sin, His life was one of extraordinary wonder. ″He came into the world to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him″ (I John 3:5). His ministry was characterized by supernatural events. He cured the ill, made the lame walk, opened blinded eyes, caused the deaf to hear and the dumb to talk, and even resurrected some people from the dead, as recorded in the book of Revelation. His death was also supernatural in nature. When it comes to death, Jesus died the death of a common criminal of His day, in certain ways. Nonetheless, according to the Scriptures, His death was anything from ordinary: His own body was nailed to the cross as a sacrifice for our sins (I Peter 2:24 AV)
  • He who knew no sin became sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21 AV)
  • The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53:6 AV)
  • God commends His love for us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8 AV)
  • As you can see, we are all guilty of sin. We know it in our hearts that it is true! Our awareness of our own wrongdoing occurs when we consider to ourselves, ″I probably shouldn’t have done that.″ We are aware of this because of our judgment of others! There is no one who is flawless, that is a given. We can also deduce this from the text of the Scriptures themselves: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 AV)
  • there is none who is righteous, no, not one (Romans 3:10 AV)
  • there is none who does good, no, not one (Romans 3:12 AV)
  • there is none who does good, no, not one (Romans 3:20 AV)
  • there is none who does good, no, not one (Romans 3:20 AV)
  • there is none who does good, no
  • Now we see that whatever the law says, it says to those who are subject to the law: that every tongue may be silenced, and the whole world may be found guilty before God (Romans 3:19 AV)
  • All of us, like sheep, have gone astray, and we have each turned to his or her own path (Isaiah 53:6 ASV)
  • Jesus, on the other hand, never sinned. He had an absolutely amazing existence! The Bible says that Jesus ″knew no sin″ (2 Corinthians 5:21 AV)
  • that he ″was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin″ (Hebrews 4:15 AV)
  • that he ″is holy, harmless, un
