Ready for something new?

Jesus want for you to get to know him and to have him as your champion, your provider, and ultimately, your closest friend. He also has a plan for you and wants to be by your side as you navigate your way through this life. His Word states that He has magnificent plans for your life in Jeremiah 29:11, plans that are intended for your good rather than your bad, plans that will provide hope and a future for you. And, according to the Bible, God loves you so much that He offered His only Son—Jesus Christ—in order for you to enjoy eternal life with Him!

In fact, God did not bring his Son into the world in order to condemn the world, but rather in order to rescue it through him.

There’s Hope!

The difficulty is that we are all human, and we have all made errors in our lives (Romans 3:23). Small or large, these errors are referred regarded as “sin” in the Bible, because even one sin prevents us from having a personal contact with God, and finally leads to death. (See Romans 6:23.) However, there is some good news! You have reason to be hopeful because of Christ! It takes nothing more than turning away from sin and toward Jesus (which the Bible refers to as repentance) for Jesus to accept your salvation.

As a result of doing so, you are giving Jesus all of your brokenness, and in exchange, He will give you all He has for you: all of His righteousness (right-ness), peace and healing for your heart, a restored connection with Him, and a whole new beginning in life.

You are fiercely loved and forgiven.

You were formed by God. He created you in His image and likeness! And even before you were born, Jesus died on the cross for your sins, so saving you from all of your sins—past, present, and future. He was aware of the decisions you would make, and He decided to save you nonetheless!

It makes no difference what you’ve done or what you’ve been through; He still cares about you and wants to establish a genuine, honest connection with you. The Bible says, “God exhibits His own love for us in that Christ died for us while we were yet sinners.” — Romans 5:8 (NIV) (NIV)

Simple Steps Towards the Rest of Your Life.

Despite the fact that Jesus was God’s perfect son (with no flaws), He decided to take on all of our sin and die in our place. It’s for you! Then God resurrected Him from the grave, and He became the sole means of salvation for those who believe in Him. The act of knowing Jesus is as simple as acknowledging your need for Him, believing that He died and was risen for you. and inviting Him to be your friend, your advocate, and your Savior. “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me,” Jesus said.

Ready For Your New Beginning?

We shall be saved, according to God’s word in Romans 10:9, if we make Jesus Lord (the leader) of our life and accept that He was risen from the dead. To begin a new life with Jesus leading you and to experience true peace and joy in your life, say this simple prayer aloud: If you’re ready to begin a new life with Jesus leading you and to experience His true peace and joy in your life, pray this simple prayer aloud: “I recognize that I have made mistakes and that I rely on You to save my life—that I rely on You to be my Savior.

As a result, I am committing my life to You today.

Please assist me in living my life solely for You and You alone.

Thank you for giving me a new beginning!

What happens now?

It would be our pleasure to welcome you into God’s family if you had just finished praying that prayer. What does knowing Jesus mean?

One of the most important facts in the Bible is that we may not only learn about Jesus, but we can also come to know Him as a person. A large number of individuals are aware of Jesus. He is widely regarded as a significant historical figure around the world. He has been the topic of books, films, and other works of art. He is, however, much more than that. Jesus is more than simply a wonderful person; He is also the Son of God—and God’s undeserved gift to us. God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, so that whomever believes in him would not perish but have eternal life, according to the Bible’s verse John 3:16.

Learn more from Moody Bible Institute’s president, Dr. Mark Jobe:

What you can do to begin a live and developing relationship with Jesus Christ is explained in the Bible, which is God’s inspired, flawless, and trustworthy Word.

  1. Accept the fact that you are a sinner. While the majority of us consider ourselves to be “nice people,” we have all sinned. No one can live up to God’s flawless ideal. Recognize that you are a sinner, as stated in the Bible (Romans 3:23). Recognize that you deserve to die as a result of your sinfulness. There isn’t a single one of us who is good enough for God. God must condemn sin because He is holy and faultless in every way. As a result of our sin, we will spend eternity separated from God. The Bible teaches that we all deserve death since we are sinners, as follows: The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Recognize that Christ died on the cross for your sins and that He resurrected from the dead. The good news is that it is now available! God, out of His great love for us, supplied a replacement for the punishment we deserve. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the price for our sins on our behalf. Nevertheless, God shows His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,” according to Scripture (Romans 5:8). When Jesus resurrected from the dead, He declared victory over death for all time! His death and resurrection provide assurance of eternal life for those who place their faith in Him. Place your faith in Christ as your Savior today. Are you willing to accept this gift? God extends an invitation to you to enter into a relationship with Him. The last step is to place your faith in Jesus as your Savior. This indicates that you personally think that Jesus died on the cross in order to pay the punishment for your sins. You put your trust in Him to forgive all of your sins, and you are given the gift of everlasting life as a result of your faith. According to the Bible, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  2. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Are you ready to take on the world? You might start by praying this simple prayer:Lord Jesus, please forgive me for being a sinner and for deserving death. I believe that you are the Son of God and that You died on the cross in my place as atonement for my sins. You took my punishment and rose again, allowing me to live. I accept your offer of salvation, and I choose to place my trust in you today. Thank you for your mercy. Amen. If you have just finished praying that prayer, we are pleased to be able to welcome you into the Godly family!

You have just begun a life-changing relationship with Jesus that will continue for the rest of your life!

What does it mean to know Jesus?

Answer When individuals talk of “knowing” Jesus, they are referring to the fact that they have a personal relationship with Him. A Christian is more than just knowing aboutJesus. A Christian is someone who knowsJesus intimately. When Jesus prayed, “This is everlasting life: that they know you, the one true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent,” He was referring to the need for people to come to know the Savior (John 17:3). To be familiar with a sports star is one thing; to be acquainted with that athlete is quite another.

  • To get to know a sports hero on a personal level, you would have to do more than just watch him play.
  • It is via a connection that a person comes to know Jesus on a deeper level; they spend time together and communicate on a regular basis.
  • “We know.
  • What is the best way to get to know Jesus?
  • The purpose of His death was to atone for your sin (1 Peter 2:24).

Furthermore, according to John 3:16, you have been granted eternal life: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whomever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” This life, which includes an eternity with Christ in heaven, is available to you and to anyone else who places their faith in Jesus as their Savior.

And this is not your own doing; it is a gift from God, not a product of your efforts, so that no one can take credit for it.” When it comes to salvation, knowing Jesus is not dependent on our actions; rather, knowing Jesus begins with faith in Him, and our ongoing relationship with Him is always founded on that faith.

However, the following prayer can be used right now to declare your desire to deposit your faith in Jesus Christ: “Dear God, I recognize I am a sinner and could never achieve paradise by my own good acts.

Please forgive me of my sins and assist me to live for you.

Thank you for embracing me and giving me eternal life.” Have you made a decision for Christ because of what you have read here? If so, please click on the “I have accepted Christ today” button below. If you have any questions, please utilize the inquiry form on ourBible Questions Answeredpage.

How can I know Jesus? What does it mean to know Him?

The term “knowing” Jesus refers to the state of having a personal relationship with Him. In fact, a Christian not only knows about Christ, but he or she also directly knows Christ. When Jesus prayed in John 17:3, he claimed that knowing the one true God and the Son whom He sent is what eternal life is all about. Being acquainted with Christ intimately entails becoming acquainted with Him as you would with a friend. An intimate friendship involves spending time with the other person and engaging in vulnerable discussions.

  1. Knowing Jesus requires more than just reading about Him in a textbook; it requires spending time getting to know who He is.
  2. He is the one and only real God, as well as the source of eternal life.” We should pray for insight so that we might come to know Jesus and, as a result, come to know God better.
  3. The Bible says that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God resurrected him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
  4. “He himself bare our sins in his body on the cross, in order that we could die to sin and live to righteousness (Romans 6:23).
  5. When you accept Christ’s teaching as true, you are welcomed into His family of believers (John 1:12).
  6. As a result, those who know Jesus and believe in Him “should not perish, but should have eternal life.” Knowing Jesus is not dependent on our deeds, but rather based on putting our trust in Him.
  7. According to Romans 5:8, “God demonstrates his love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” This indicates that we do not come to know Christ via our own efforts, but rather through the grace that Jesus purchased for us with His own life.

Following our prayer of understanding, we will be able to begin learning more about Him and spending more time with Him personally.

I believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, who came to earth in order to live the ideal life that I was unable to live for my own reasons.

Then, three days later, He rose from the dead, demonstrating His truth and providing redemption and eternal life to anyone who places their faith in Him.

I want to get to know Jesus on a personal level.

How to Know Jesus More Personally

Is Jesus a genuine person in your eyes? I’m not exaggerating. As true to you as your best friend is to him or her. It is my belief that so many people – including Christians – comprehend Jesus as God, as a religion, or as an abstract notion, but they do not have a framework for truly understanding Him in a connection that is personal, deep, and interactive with them. I mean, that does make some sense, doesn’t it? When it comes to getting to know and loving someone who you can’t physically see, do any of you ever scratch your head in bemusement?

Jesus Is A Real Man

When I was in college, I used to spend a lot of time alone with God at my campus apartment. My journey with God began when I began reading the book of Revelation. This meeting with God changed the path of my life forever. This isn’t me being a dramatic creative when I say this; it truly did have that great of an influence on my life. I ended up spending a couple hours reading that scripture, praying, and worshipping Jesus as a result. You might wonder why. Throughout the Bible, Jesus is frequently depicted in terms of the job He performs in our lives.

  1. The apostle John, however, speaks about a vision he had with Jesus in which the Lord showed Himself to him as He had appeared to him after His resurrection from the grave and ascension to Heaven (Revelation 1:9-18).
  2. Throughout the book of John, Jesus is described as wearing a long robe with a sash over His breast, His head and hair being white as wool, His voice thundering like ocean waves, His hand reaching out to touch John, and a sword emerging from His lips.
  3. After reading it, I recall thinking to myself, “Oh my god, Jesus is a real Man!” For a brief moment, my roommate (who is also a Christian) thought I was insane when I blurted that word out to her without providing any context for what Jesus was telling me in the Word.
  4. She and I still have a good chuckle over what happened that night.
  5. I was already aware of the notion of Jesus being both entirely God and totally human when I first heard it.
  6. However, when I read the Bible that day, the humanity of Jesus drew my attention in a more profound way.
  7. If Jesus has genuine eyes, then He is able to look through me.
  8. If He has a true voice, then He has the ability to communicate with me.
  9. That is to say.
  10. You and I can connect with Him, get to know Him, and love Him as profoundly as we would with a close friend, just as we would with a close friend.
  11. He is more than a religion or a philosophical construct.

Despite the fact that we cannot see Him and that He is not physically present on the planet at this time, He is quite close to us and makes Himself known to us through His Spirit. Jesus is approachable and willing to build relationships. To send a tweet, simply click here.

How To Know Jesus Personally

And so the issue becomes, if Jesus is knowable and relational in this way, how does one go about truly knowing and relating to Him? Is it possible to take this notion of Jesus and make Him personal to your heart and life? What are some strategies for doing so? How well do you know and love Him as a genuine human being? Luke 24:27-32, 44-45 portrays an experience between Jesus and two of his disciples immediately following His resurrection, and their interaction provides us with some pointers on how to encounter Jesus directly through His Word and through talking to Him.

1. Let Jesus reveal Himself to you through the Scriptures.

In the next verses, Jesus takes them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, teaching from all the Scriptures the things pertaining to Himself. (See also Luke 24:27) Have you ever considered the possibility that the Bible is not only intended to provide you with knowledge, but also to reveal Jesus to you and assist you in your relationship with Him? One of my favorite scriptures is John 5:39, in which Jesus addresses a group of religious leaders, saying, “You seek the Scriptures because you believe they will give you eternal life.” “However, the Scriptures point directly to Me!” The Scriptures guide us in the direction of Jesus.

  1. The Scriptures provide us with a glimpse of Jesus.
  2. There are descriptions and tales about Jesus throughout the Bible, but the four Gospel narratives of Jesus’ life on earth (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), the book of Hebrews, and the book of Revelation include the greatest number of such anecdotes and descriptions.
  3. So, what is the example He has given for me to follow?
  4. What has He gone through in his life that I might ask Him to assist me in walking through as I go through it in my own life?

2. Let Jesus explain the Scriptures to you.

Later, while still present with them, He said, “I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses, in the prophets, and in Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then He opened their eyes so that they might see and comprehend the Scriptures. (Luke 24:44-45; Matthew 24:45) Prepare yourself by praying and asking Jesus to speak to you and teach you through His Word before you begin reading it. A prayer along these lines would be: “Jesus, while I read Your Word, please clarify the Scriptures to me.” “Please assist me in comprehending what they represent, what they indicate about You, and how they pertain to my situation.” When you begin to have discussions with Jesus about His Word and you have the experience of Him speaking directly to your heart through the Scriptures, it is quite powerful.

During such talk, there is a mutual understanding.

During that discourse, the development of a relationship with Jesus takes place.

Jesus want to assist you in understanding His Word and becoming closer to Him as a result of this process.

Bring Jesus into your Bible reading conversation, whether you’re reading one of the New Testament letters, the Gospels, the Old Testament narratives, or the Psalms – anything you read in the Bible – and ask Him to help you understand, to reveal Himself to you, and to assist you in living out what He teaches you.

3. Talk to Jesus as you read the Scriptures.

Their hearts were burning as He spoke with them on the journey and explained the Scriptures to them, they confessed to one another. “Didn’t our hearts burn inside us when He spoke with us on the way and explained the Scriptures to us?” they asked one another. (See also Luke 24:32) Throughout your reading and learning, and as He draws your attention to truth from His Word, you’re bound to come across Scriptures that reflect His character. As you read the Bible, you will come across scriptures that provide guidance on how to live as a disciple of Jesus.

  1. You’re going to get a lot of inquiries.
  2. Etc.
  3. Inquire of Him about the issues that concern you.
  4. Inquire of Him for assistance in following His precepts.
  5. Inquire of Him to disclose further facets of His nature to you, and so forth.
  6. It is possible that not every section you read will be “pray-able,” but as long as it is relevant, convert what you’re reading in the Bible into a prayer or dialogue with Jesus.

Grow In The Knowledge of Jesus

Since that fateful night in college, I’ve made it my life’s mission to be someone who knows and loves Jesus fully, and who encourages others to do the same in their lives. I want to get to know Jesus so well on this side of eternity that when I see Him for the first time on the other side, it will feel like I’m looking at a familiar face, even though I’ve never seen Him with my own eyes before.because I’ve pursued a close relationship with Him through His Word, talking to Him, and witnessing Him work in my life while I’m still in this world.

Not only will you grow in your knowledge of Jesus (Colossians 1:10), but, as the disciple in Luke 24:32 cried, your heart will be ablaze with passion.

Discussion Question: Can you recall a moment when Jesus made Himself known to you or taught you something while reading the Bible?

How to Know Jesus As Your Personal Saviour

1.Learn about Jesus and accept that He died and rose from the grave to be your Savior, and then communicate with the one and only real God. Make a public declaration of your desire to change by saying something along the lines of: “I am sorry for my sin, for all my wrongdoing; I want to change, and I truly thank you for your gift of the Holy Spiritand for everything you, Lord, have done, and that I am now forgiven and saved from the penalty for my sins as a free gift, in Jesus’ name. Now tell others that “There is one Christ, the Son of God, who is Lord and Savior for everyone who believes, repents, and follows him:”which should include attending Christian meetings, being baptized as a sign of accepting your new life, seeking to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit, praying to God, participating in communion (“The Lord’s Supper”), showing God’s love by kindness, making peace, agreeing in prayer with other believers, and when you sin, asking for forgiveness from God and

Was Jesus a Real Person?

The question is, how do we know he did it? According to the vast majority of theological historians, both Christian and non-Christian alike, Jesus did indeed walk the Earth. Rather than relying on the bizarre collection of relics that have been paraded as physical proof in churches all throughout Europe, they derive their conclusion from textual evidence found in the Bible itself.

Sacred Hardware, indeed.

It appears that the rusted artifacts were previously used to nail Jesus to the crucifixion, based on the circumstantial evidence presented by him.

According to Jacobovici in the video, “if you look at the full scenario — historical, literary, archaeological — they all appear to lead to these two nails being engaged in a crucifixion.” If you put two and two together, it appears that they are the nails, which is consistent with the fact that Caiaphas is solely linked with the crucifixion of Jesus.

English liturgical scholar Herbert Thurston numbered all of the nails that were thought to have been used to crucify Jesus in 1911, according to historical accounts at the time.

Thurston, himself a Jesuit, provided the following explanation for the overabundance of hardware in the Catholic Encyclopedia: “Probably the majority began by purporting to be facsimiles of other nails whose claims were more old, and then touched or carried filings from those other nails.” Even in the absence of willful deception on the part of anyone, it is quite possible for imitations to become widely recognized as genuine originals in a very short period of time.” Along the same lines, according to this well-known comment by the sixteenth-century theologian John Calvin, there are enough wood chips from the “True Cross” – the cross on which Jesus was crucified – spread over Europe to fill a ship.

  • Gigantic parts have been found in a number of locations, including the Holy Chapel in Paris, Poitiers, and Rome, where a large crucifix is supposed to have been fashioned from the material.
  • Despite this, the Gospels attest that a single man was capable of carrying it.” Blankets from the Bible The Shroud of Turin, perhaps the most renowned religious relic in the world, is widely considered to be the burial garment of Jesus, according to many scholars.
  • The blanket is 14 by 4 feet and is made of linen.
  • The Shroud of Turin is depicted in this full-length negative image.
  • When Bishop Pierre d’Arcis of France said the picture of Jesus on the fabric was “cunningly painted” in a document dated in 1390, it was “attested by the artist who painted it,” according to the document.
  • Similarly, the Sudarium of Oviedo, a blood-stained fabric that was purportedly wrapped around Christ’s head as he died and which has been on display at a cathedral in Spain since A.D.
  • Since the blood on the Sudarium is of the type AB, which is prevalent in the Middle East but not in Europe, some have speculated that it may be the blood of Christ.
  • 695 – not long before it was discovered in Oviedo.
  • Seventy metal books, which were supposedly unearthed in a cave in Jordan, have been heralded as the world’s earliest Christian writings in recent weeks.

Even the BBC reported on the find, saying, “Never before has there been a discovery of relics on this magnitude from the early Christian movement, in its country, and at such an early stage in its history.” Because one page of the volumes had an image of Jesus, Christians saw it as confirmation of his real-life presence.

  • Because it was discovered so soon after the event, a piece of writing reading “I shall walk uprightly” was widely taken as a reference to Jesus’ resurrection, providing compelling evidence that it did, in fact, take place.
  • Archaeologist Peter Thonemann informed the press that the picture depicting Christ was taken from a coin that originated from the island of Rhodes.
  • The inscriptions in Hebrew and Greek are similarly gibberish, according to the author.
  • Fake Christian artifacts such as the codices, according to Kimberly Bowes, an archaeologist who specializes in Roman and Greek archaeology at the University of Pennsylvania, are rather prevalent.
  • “Modern people’s desire to find material evidence from the first two centuries of Christianity is much stronger than the desire to find actual evidence.” This is due to the fact that the number of Christians during this era was extremely tiny — probably less than 7,000 by A.D.
  • The Dead Sea Scrolls, a massive cache of parchment and papyrus texts discovered in a cave in Israel in the 1940s, were written sometime between 150 B.C.
  • 70, according to the most recent estimates.

Some believe that instructor to be Jesus.

30 as some have claimed it did.

The Good Book in and of itself Without a doubt, the most persuasive case in favor of Jesus as a once-living person is found in the pages of the Holy Bible.

There are yet more Gospels that have not been canonized, but which were written by people who were close to Jesus at the time of his death.

‘We do know some things about the historical Jesus,’ said Marcus Borg, a preeminent Biblical scholar, author, and retired professor of religion and culture at Oregon State University.

In spite of the publication of a few publications recently arguing that Jesus did not exist, the evidence that he did is compelling to the great majority of researchers, whether Christian or non-Christian.” According to Borg, who spoke with LiveScience, the following depiction, derived from the Gospels, would be endorsed by the vast majority of historians: Approximately 400 years ago, Jesus was born in Nazareth, a tiny hamlet in Galilee, and grew up as a member of the peasant class, according to the Bible.

  1. Jesus’ father was a carpenter, and he followed in his father’s footsteps, indicating that the family had most likely lost their farming property at some time.
  2. Instead, he regarded himself as functioning inside the framework of Judaism.
  3. During his baptism, it’s likely that Jesus had a heavenly vision of some type.
  4. He was put to death by the Roman imperial authorities, and his followers had a personal encounter with him after his death.
  5. They only declared Jesus to be “lord” or “the son of God” after he died, not before.

Do You Know Jesus

Many people have heard of Jesus and have a basic understanding of who He is. Many people sing Christmas carols about His birth and are aware that Easter honors His resurrection. Some see Him as a teacher, while others consider Him to be the founder of a significant international religion. But, do you have any intimate knowledge of Him? Do you realize that Jesus died and rose from the dead not to start a spiritual movement, but because He loves you and wants to offer a means for you to get to know Him better?

  • God made us in His image and for us to have a personal connection with Him from the beginning of time (Genesis 1:27).
  • Essentially, we choose to live our lives for ourselves, rather than living them for God, as we were created to do.
  • Because of Him, we may know the promise of everlasting life and experience the delight of knowing God while we are still on this planet!
  • Following that, we acknowledge and profess that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9) and allow Him to direct our life.

Would you like to accept Jesus as Lord of your life?

  1. In God’s plan for you, there is only life and peace: God wants you to have life and peace now and for all of eternity. The purpose of my coming is so that they may have life, and that they may have it fully. 10:10b
  2. John 10:10a
  3. Recognizing the problem: sin and separation: We were made to know, love and praise God. When we choose to go our own way, living life in wilful disobedience to God, we are choosing to be estranged from God both now and for all eternity. The Bible says we are sinners… “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” 3:23 (Romans 3:23) But God is love… “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whomever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 is a biblical passage that teaches that God is love. And God is also just… “For the wages of sin is death
  4. But the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesusour Lord.” Romans 6:23
  5. s We cannot save ourselves: Because God is Holy, He cannot allow sin to enter into Heaven. Most people attempt to save themselves by their own efforts, good works or church attendance. The Bible says… “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” Proverbs 14:12 How then can a sinful person enter Heaven where God allows no sin
  6. s We are saved by grace:The good news is. in spite of our sin, Christ died for us. “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not of works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 ” But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
  7. Responding to God’s gift by faith: “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

It is by grace that we have been saved.” “But because of God’s great love for us, God, who is rich in kindness, has made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our sins – for it is by grace that we have been saved.” 2.4-5 (Ephesians 2).

If you would like to accept Jesus as Lord of your life, you can pray the following prayer:

Lord, I acknowledge that I have sinned against You and implore You to grant me forgiveness. I’m sorry that my sin has caused You and other people in my life to suffer as a result of it. I recognize that I will never be able to earn salvation through my own efforts, but I come to You in faith, trusting in what Jesus accomplished for me on the cross. Because I believe in Your love for me, as well as Jesus’ death and resurrection, I think that I may be forgiven and grow to know You better. I ask You to come into my heart and rule over my life as my Lord and Savior.

I trust You with everything and thank You for loving me so much that I can get to know You here on earth and spend the rest of eternity with You in heaven.

What do I do now?

In the same way that a new baby need care and nurturing in order to develop physically, a child of God requires care and nurturing in order to develop spiritually.

Here’s how you can start growing in your relationship with Christ:

  1. Instruct someone: Inform a pastor or Christian friend who will assist you in growing and discovering your skills of service. “So Christ himself gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, to train his people for deeds of service, in so that the body of Christ may be built up. Paul writes in Ephesians 4:11 and 12. He then commanded that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, which was their first act of obedience. Acts 10:48
  2. 10:49
  3. Become a member of the church: The church is a place where God’s family may come together to encourage and support one another. The joy and pleasure that comes from God’s people living in harmony is immeasurable! The first verse of Psalm 133:1. Every day, pray and read your Bible: Using His Word and prayer, God communicates His will for your life to you and helps you to live it. The light of your word serves as a candle for my feet and a beacon for my path.” Seek a godly tutor, according to Psalm 119:105: A mentor instructs you on the ways of God and how to live a holy life in the presence of God. “In the same way, educate the elder women to be respectful in their way of life, not to be slanderers or addicted to excessive amounts of drink, but to teach what is right.” Titus 2:3
  4. Titus 2:4
  5. Titus 2:5

7 Ways How to Know Jesus Better

The majority of people are familiar with Jesus; if you aren’t, I recommend starting with my post Who is Jesus? In my book, “The Autobiography of the Lord Jesus Christ,” but we may all benefit from some guidance on how to get to know Jesus better. What is the most effective technique to get started? I believe the best response comes directly from Jesus Himself: Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened vnto you: This is the law of the universe. – 7:7 (Matthew 7:7) Wow!

And then Jesus makes a magnificent promise: For everyone who asks gets; everyone who seeks finds; and to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

It is said in the Bible that “anyone would may come” (Revelation 22:17).

In the following seven ways, He has assisted me in getting to know Him better:

1. Praying

Praying is just asking, seeking, and knocking on the door of the Almighty. This simple prayer has been spoken by millions of people: “Lord Jesus, I am in desperate need of You.” Thank You for bearing my sins on the cross and dying on the cross for me. I acknowledge You as my Savior and Lord by opening the door of my life to You. Thank You for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life in Your Son Jesus Christ. I want you to take over the reins of my life. Transform my personality into the type of person You want me to be.

I pray this prayer many times a day: Lord Jesus, be with me right now!

2. Reading the Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, authored by Christians who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is a source of life: Man shall not live by food alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God,” Moses and Jesus declared in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture says, will have rivers of life water flowing from his innermost being. ” Jesus says this in John 7:38.

3. Listening to the Word

Faith comes through hearing the Word of God, and hearing comes through hearing the Word of God. Faith comes through hearing, and hearing comes through hearing the Word of God. According to St. Paul in Romans 10:17 In order to get to know Jesus, one must have confidence in him. However, without faith, it is impossible to satisfy God: because he who comes to God must believe that he exists and that he is a rewarder of those who sincerely seek him.

Hebrews 11:6 (Hebrews 11:6) We comprehend, by faith, that the worlds were fashioned by the word of God, and that the things that we see were not created from things that do seem. Hebrews 11:3 is a verse that says

4. Finding and Becoming a Community of Believers

We will never be able to know Jesus fully until we are in community with other believers. When two or three people come together in my name, I will be there with them.-Matthew 18:20, not neglecting to meet together as some do, but encouraging one another Hebrews 10:25, not neglecting to meet together as some do, but encouraging one another As a result, even though we are numerous, we are united as one body in Christ, with each part belonging to the other. — St. Paul in Romans 12:5. You’ve already taken the first step in this direction by reading this blog post, but you’re invited to continue the conversation on Facebook with our community of believers.

5. Studying Christian History

History has been referred to be “His tale,” and this is correct. It may be found in the Bible, which is the earliest and most accurate account of the origins of our planet. Nevertheless, honest believers in Jesus, the Gospel, and the witness of His people may be found in the work of Christian historians throughout history. In order to understand history, it is necessary to study works of Christians such as G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis and Paul Johnson, who embrace and revere Scripture as the authoritative word of God and maintain its inerrancy, among others.

Check out SPIRITUAL LIVES, a collection of 200 biographies of historical figures whose faith mattered.

6. Enjoying Christian Literature and Music

Believers have produced some of the greatest works of literature and music that have ever been written. Among the most popular works are Dante’s Divine Comedy, Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, and poetry by John Donne, William Cowper, T.S. Eliot, and W.H. Auden, to name a few names. Both Isaac Watts’ and Charles Wesley’s hymns, as well as those of Fanny Crosby, are completely concentrated on Christ and his sacrifice for us. Contemporary musicians such as Chris Tomlin and ShaneShane will also assist you in getting a deeper understanding of Jesus.

7. Seeing Him in Your Circumstances and Life

As we grow in our understanding of Jesus, we begin to recognize His presence in our lives. Because the LORD’s eyes are constantly moving throughout the globe, demonstrating His might on behalf of people who have placed their trust in Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9 is a biblical passage. The steps of the righteous are directed by the LORD. He takes pleasure in each and every element of their life. Psalm 37:23 (KJV) Because I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for good rather than for calamity, plans to give you a future and a future with hope.

Next Steps: Beginning to Know Jesus Better

The next several weeks, I’d want to accompany you on your spiritual journey, delving a bit further into each of the seven stages that will help us both get to know Jesus a little better. Every day for the next seven days, beginning this Sunday, I’ll publish a word of encouragement and a challenge on my Facebook page that corresponds to one of these disciplines. Nevertheless, if you find yourself stuck at the beginning, consider these words from St.

Paul: he is not distant from any of us: For it is in him that we live, move, and have our being; – Acts 17:27-28. Finally, and maybe most importantly, Jesus himself has promised: “Behold, I am with you ALWAYS, even unto the end of the world.” – Matthew 28:20 (NASB)

Get To Know Jesus

We are told in the Bible that “God is Love!” (See 1 John 4:8) The Lord is our Creator, and he genuinely cares about everyone of us. “Do you see how much the Father cares for us?” Our Father’s love is so strong that we are referred to be God’s children” (1 John 3:1 TEV). God desires for you to lead a happy life. As the Lord explains, “For I know the thoughts that I have for you, declares the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of ill, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11). I’m sure you’ve had moments in your life when you’ve pondered, “Is this all there is?” or anything like.

Some people have a void in their hearts that nothing appears to be able to fill.

Our world was designed to be wonderful from the beginning.

Everything ran well and without hiccups.

My Sin Separates Me from God

Our relationship with God has been shattered by sin. Nevertheless, your crimes have divided you from your God, and your transgressions have disguised His face from you, so that He would not hear you. ” (Isaiah 59:2). Everyone has transgressed the ideal law of love established by God. The Bible says, “.because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Unless anything changes, we are all going to perish on this planet. “For the wages of sin is death.”, says the Bible.

The adversary successfully persuaded them that God was unkind.

A grave error was made because they severed their ties with God, the source of all light and life.

Unless, of course, someone intervened.

Jesus Connects Me Back to God

Because of God’s immense love for you, Jesus gladly accepted the punishment for your sins on the cross. Christ died so that people would be able to live forever and not have to die. Jesus’ sinless life serves as a substitute for my sinful existence, allowing me to enjoy eternal life—salvation. God has accepted Christ’s death as complete and final payment for all of my previous sins. The Bible says, “For He caused Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we could become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

  • Despite the fact that our forefathers walked away from God and embraced a falsehood, the Lord offered a way out, a plan to save mankind from destruction and eternity in hell.
  • Sin is the act of moving away from God’s rule of love and life, and the outcome of sin is the death of the individual.
  • He offers His sinless and shattered life as a sacrifice in exchange for our sinful and damaged lives.
  • It is not something we can purchase, but rather something we must embrace.
  • Jesus offers us the gift of eternal life.

God’s aim is to bring humans back into a life-giving connection with Himself, as well as to give them new hearts that long for the Lord and turn away from sin. If we will simply accept this free gift of salvation, we will be able to benefit from it.

How Do I Accept Jesus Into My Life?

By accepting Christ’s death as a gift, I am transformed into a child of God. The penalty of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord, according to Romans 6:23. (Romans 6:23). So, what does Jesus’ death on the cross have to do with me and my life? The power to become God’s offspring was given to anyone who welcomed him and trusted in his name, according to the Bible (John 1: 12 RSV). To invite Christ into your life right now, simply take these easy steps:

  1. Recognize that you have no choice except to perish. “The penalty for sin is death.” (Romans 6:23) Recognize that you are powerless to save yourself. “You can achieve nothing without Me (God),” Jesus says in John 15:5. You must repent and acknowledge before God that you are a sinner. “We have all sinned.” Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins (Romans 3:23). “For God cherished the earth so much that He gave.” Believe that Jesus has forgiven you of your sins (John 3:16). It says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to purify us from all unrighteousness.” Believe that you have everlasting life. According to John 6:47, “He who trusts in Me has eternal life.”

Now, in your new way of life, you must live every day with trust. “Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him as well” (Colossians 2:6). The gift you receive from someone does not become yours until you accept the gift. Jesus extends the offer of salvation to you, but how do you respond to it? Read on to find out. The Bible informs us that we must first recognize our need for Christ before we may be saved. This occurs when the Holy Spirit speaks to our conscience and we recognize that our sins have caused us to be estranged from our Creator.

When we repent, we are expressing our dissatisfaction with our old way of life by turning away from it and seeking a new path in Jesus.

The Lord’s promise to forgive and cleanse our hearts is available to us when we come before him with a broken heart because of our wicked decisions and confess our wrongdoing.

When you accept this gift of salvation with faith, you will be able to tell that you have received it.

New Life in Christ

How does God’s love transform my life when I become a member of His family? “When anybody is united to Christ, he is transformed into a new being; the old has passed away, and the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17, TEV). When a person chooses Christ as his or her Savior, the old sinful nature is completely annihilated. The new Christian has a new spiritual existence as a result of Jesus’ sacrifice. The Christian, on the other hand, despises the old life of sin. The new Christian begins to experience freedom from guilt and comes to understand how empty his life had been before to accepting Christ as his Savior.

What was I thinking when I waited so long to embrace God’s love?

We must have confidence and declare, “God promised to remove my sin from my life.

As we continue to walk in this new conviction, it will become stronger with each passing day.

This occurs as a result of studying the Bible, which is the fundamental means through which the Lord has revealed himself to us.

Meeting with other Christians and discussing how God is working in our life with other people will also help to maintain our faith in the Lord strong and our faith in the Lord will be strengthened.

Please help me to take the next step in my spiritual journey.” However, I have come to realize that I am a sinner, and that my terrible choices and acts result in death.

Thank you for entering my heart and cleansing me of all sin, and for filling me with Your love.

Thank you for all that you have done and are doing in my life right now!

I am grateful for Your gift of salvation!

Thank you for your prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!” Now, go and tell someone about what you’ve accomplished! We’d like to give you a free present!
