How To Call Jesus On Phone

How I Used My Cell Phone to Call Up Jesus.

Hello World, Last November, I got my first smart phone! (I know, I’m a very slow adopter of new technology plus I’m very frugal…) Although that was a few months ago, I’m still learning how to use all of its functions… One function that still puzzles me is the voice recognition function… I guess I could read the manual to figure this all out, but for some reason, I don’t particularly care to read manuals unless I need to refer to them to trouble shoot… So on Thursday as I was on the road trying to get to various locations for my job as a reporter, I was feeling very stressed out… I was running behind schedule and I have to make a daily deadline so time is very important.

I was grappling with traffic which can be horrendous in the metro Atlanta area.

I also needed to answer a lot of other important e-mail messages but couldn’t get to them because I was driving… None of this was a life or death matter, but I have found that sometimes the daily accumulation of a lot of little things can have you feeling more anxious than the huge things that can happen… When something really bad happens, it is almost easier to cope with that because there is nothing else to do… But when a whole lot of minor to somewhat important things are vying for our attention, it’s hard to know what to tackle first… So I decided to confess Scriptures to get my right… I said out loud as I was driving… Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

It is dependent on the situation. The software must be re-downloaded from the app store and signed in with the email address that was registered at the time of purchase if your new device is on the same platform as your old device (for example, iOS/Apple to iOS/Apple or Android to Android). When a user switches platforms, this presents a problem. While both the iOS and Android applications have the same appearance and functionality, the similarities between them are merely superficial. Due to the fundamental differences between iOS and Android apps’ internal architecture, an iOS software will not function on an Android device and vice versa.

There are two distinct app markets on the two platforms: iOS and Android. App purchases do not transfer between the platforms, therefore switching to a different platform requires the purchase of a new app.

How do I gift the app to a friend?

It is necessary to know what sort of device the recipient uses in order to provide them an app (see above). Please see this page for further information on how to give the iOS app as a gift. If the recipient is an Android user, please consider purchasing a Google Play gift card for them. For further information about purchasing, please see this link.

Sarah Young has other devotionals. Will those be converted into app form?

TheJesus Callingapp is meant to show material from Sarah Young’s other devotionals quickly and efficiently, eliminating the need for numerous stand-alone devotional applications in this situation. The software operates as a “virtual bookshelf,” allowing users to read any of Sarah’s other writings while still logged into the Jesus Calling application. To see and purchase these additional works, navigate to the STORE menu option within the app and follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I share on social media?

Using popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, you may spread the word about your favorite quotes. Please keep in mind that, owing to copyright regulations, you are only allowed to copy and share up to 300 characters. Please accept our apologies for any trouble this may create.

I’m having trouble with my app and the issue is not listed here. How do I request assistance?

During regularly planned office hours, the customer service staff at Thomas Nelson Publishers (a part of HarperCollins Christian Publishers) is available to help users with their questions and concerns. Any inquiries should be directed to [email protected]. Include a thorough explanation of the problem, as well as the operating system (iOS or Android) and its version information. This information may be found in the phone’s settings, which users can access.

What Is Jesus’ Phone Number?

“Can you tell me how to contact Jesus? My five-year-old inquired, “Does He even have a phone number?” he wondered. “No, Jesus doesn’t have a phone or a phone number,” I said with a giggle. “Well, why not?” says the author. I’m not sure how I’m meant to communicate with Him. “I can’t even make out what He’s doing.” “I think prayer is what His phone number is.” Daniel chuckled, saying, “That’s not a phone number, dumb Mama.” It would be nice if he understood how much I know about dialing that phone number.

  1. So many nights I would sneak into church with my father’s keys in my pocket and allow myself in.
  2. When I was younger, I dialed that phone number a lot.
  3. Our passports were taken away by the military, who accused us of being spies and fomenting instability in the country.
  4. We were completely afraid.
  5. God also moved my father, who was on the other side of the world, to call that phone number at the same time we did and pray for our well-being as well.
  6. My thoughts immediately flashed back to my late twenties.
  7. I couldn’t see anything.

Finally, after being confronted by a friend, I had to take the chance that God really did want me, despite my mess.

I was crying out to Jesus when the clouds above me, as well as the clouds above my heart, parted to show a sky filled with the most brilliant stars I had seen in years.

After a few years, I was up all night with our first kid, who was born the following year.

Weary.

It didn’t.

The tears were streaming down our cheeks as we pleaded with Jesus to intercede and cure this young one who was in such distress.

It was five years later that we were sent to the emergency hospital after our second baby, Daniel, was diagnosed with RSV.

He was struggling to breathe, he didn’t want to eat, and he had little energy to do anything.

His condition began to improve on the third day, and we believe it was because we turned to Jesus in our hour of need.

It took other family members to bring Daniel to me so that he could breastfeed for a week since I was too weak to move out of my chair.

With my pulse rate racing to 225 bpm and feeling thirsty, queasy, and hot, I ended up passing out on the restroom floor.

Oh, how I clutched to that phone number throughout the entire night.

My husband was suffering from cancer, and there was nothing I could do to help him get better.

As I called out to Jesus, I was overwhelmed by an unbearable sense of panic.

His presence was all about me, and serenity washed over me as a result of my decision to dial His phone number when I needed Him the most.

This is a line that is never busy, the connection is always strong, and there are no costs associated with using it.” It doesn’t matter how large or tiny our prayers appear to be; He always responds to us in our natural state.

“I think I’ve figured out what Jesus’ phone number is now,” Daniel said with a grin.

“Daniel, you are absolutely correct.” That phone number is extremely significant to me, and I hope that my son Daniel will realize this one day.

One day, circumstances beyond his control will force him to make a decision.

The one who goes directly to the heart of God.

The one who embodies the one and only combination we require: bending our knees, folding our hands, and pouring out our souls. Take the opportunity today to call the line “Dear Jesus.” and say hello. Christy Bass Adams, class of 2021 All photos courtesy of Canva.

Enriching your beliefs!

I am eternally grateful to Sarah Young for all of her novels. They are wonderful friends for walking with Christ in daily life as well as for Bible study, among other things. No matter what is going on in my life or in the world, the words of the daily devotions appear to be written specifically for the circumstances of the day—this is incredibly soothing as well as reassuring, and it helps me to stay grounded. I’ve given them out as gifts, and I can’t wait to hear from the next individual who expresses a desire to have such readings performed.

  1. In a café, a lady approached us and asked if she might read to us from “today’s reading.” It was the first time I had heard of Ms.
  2. She said that she had overheard our chat with my brother-in-law, who was in a state of complete and utter desperation.
  3. I consider the money I spent on these books to be an investment, not only in myself and my family, but also in anyone receives one of the books as a present from me!
  4. Thank you so much for your kind remarks and for sharing such an inspiring tale with us!

How to share what you read.

I discovered how to share what I read on a regular basis with other people. What works for me is pressing on the center of the page that you were reading and holding your thumb there until you see a bar that appears on the screenand then selecting all, which will highlight the entire pageand then at the end of the bar you will see share, which should be clicked on rather than the link, and that is how I have been able to share this with a large number of people. Similarly to what someone else stated before, when you click on the share link, all that appears are the novels written by Sarah Young, all of which are genuinely excellent in their own right.

God bless you everyone, and God bless the entire globe because Jesus Christ is the Son of God!

When Jesus Doesn’t Call You On The Phone — Kendra Broekhuis

What’s next, Lord? I recall sitting in a room full of swiveling chairs as I approached the end of my last semester of college and thinking to myself. It may be an exhilarating topic to ask, filled with amazement at the vast number of locations and peoples available in a globe that is always expanding. The query, though, might also be accompanied by apprehension: “No, honestly, what is next, Lord?” Six years after graduating from college, my husband and I stood in front of a room of college seniors, each in their own swivel chair.

  1. With the benefit of hindsight, it’s simple to conclude that God faithfully guided us from one thing to the next, gently opening and closing numerous doors for us throughout our journey.
  2. Alternatively, it may be that there were no doors to pick from at all.
  3. We hoped Jesus had put up a few billboards to point us in the right direction, but He didn’t do anything like that.
  4. And I say this because I believe many young adult Christians on the verge of graduation, as well as anybody else going through a period of Big Life Decisioning, are concerned that they will make the incorrect choice.
  5. What is the best way to figure out who, where, when, and what God is CALLING me to accomplish in my life?
  6. Apparently, Jesus had “called them to the mission field,” as stated in the letter.
  7. It would be wonderful if Jesus would pick up the phone and tell me what to do.

It is without a doubt that God establishes certain desires in each of our hearts and that He directs us to specific locations in order to perform something specific, sometimes with a specific person.

In contrast, the scope of our collective calling as Christians reaches far beyond our external circumstances since it is something that cannot be taken away even if our outward circumstances change.

The single lady and the married guy are two different people.

As a single man in jail, the apostle Paul was able to fulfill his calling.

So, what is our Christian vocation, and how can we fulfill it?

Jesus does not promise to call each of us individually, but He does communicate to us through the pages of Scripture.

Inform others of Christ’s existence.

Respect for Christ and for other people.

And I might point you that if you happen to be the prophet Jonah, you’d better get your buttocks on a certain boat to Nineveh as soon as possible.

I bemoaned my inability to forecast the future and make a precisely calculated decision about what to do with my life, to which he responded by shrugging his shoulders and saying, “If you are praying and asking for guidance and aren’t getting clear indications from Heaven, then do what you want to do.

  • If our hearts are truly searching and following after Christ alone, we may put our confidence in the brains Jesus given us to make decisions about our career, location, and family that are in the best interests of Christ.
  • Trust in the Lord, and do good; live in the land, and befriend those who are trustworthy.
  • Our desire to live in the inner city was great when we returned from Guatemala, but God shut every door except one in a little Chicago suburb, which he opened for us.
  • While we were there to use the time as preparation for our next move, a lot occurred during that time, and we met folks who I can’t picture my life without now.
  • Keep living out your big calling to seek after and honor Christ, as well as to love other people by demonstrating Christ’s love to them, even whether you find yourself standing in a corridor with a hundred or none at all.
  • You may rest assured that you will have enough of perspective later on to recognize that God’s hand was diligently arranging your movements throughout the entire process.

Because He has promised that if you put your confidence in Him and recognize Him, He will guide you in the right direction. Grace and peace to you, Kendra

Lyrics containing the term: jesus phone

What’s next, Lord? I recall sitting in a room full of swiveling chairs as I approached the end of my last semester of college and wondering. In awe of the vast number of locations and peoples available on the planet, it may be an interesting subject to ponder. The query, however, might also be accompanied by apprehension: “No, honestly, what is next, Lord?! ” Six years after graduating from college, my husband and I stood in front of a room of college seniors, each in their own swivel chair. It was then that I realized what a gift six years of post-college-graduation hindsight can be.

However, it wasn’t always straightforward when we were forced to choose between Doors 1, 2, and 3 while standing in the corridor.

Our decision to migrate to Guatemala, our decision to return to the United States, and our decision to relocate from Chicago to Milwaukee were all weighed against us by the weight of that corridor.

After a lot of prayer, each option seemed more like a leap of faith than it did like a calculated decision.

To put it another way, I was concerned about making the wrong decision, landing a bad career, relocating to the wrong city, and marrying a bad person.

Getting caught up with the word “calling” is quite simple.

Christ had “called them to the mission field,” as stated in the letter.

It is without a doubt that God establishes unique desires in each of our hearts and that He directs us to certain locations in order to perform something specific, sometimes with a specific someone.

In contrast, the scope of our collective calling as Christians reaches far beyond our outer circumstances since it is something that cannot be taken away even when our external circumstances shift.

The unmarried lady and the married guy are two different types of people.

As our brothers Job experienced the loss of his children, his livelihood, and health all at once, he carried out his calling.

Just take a time to process what you just heard.

Why do we do what we do, travel where we go, and strive to be the people we aspire to be?

He is far more concerned in the state of our souls than He is about the achievements on our resumes, as we can see from the following passage: Christ is the only one to seek and follow.

Christ is to be praised and lauded!

Without a doubt, this calling is something that may be shown in our outside situations.

But I don’t recall Jesus messaging my phone and saying, “Hey – come meet me in Guatemala in 2011,” as some have claimed.

When I was at a crossroads in my early twenties, my father was a tremendous assistance.

And we may put our faith in God to open and close doors in a gracious manner along the journey.

If you put your trust in the Lord, he will grant you the desires of your heart.

So we took the job since we needed to pay our expenses right away.

We were reminded, however, that we could carry out our calling to love God and others even while we were in our own hallway, thanks to the guidance of God.

Be aware that your major life decisions may feel more like gigantic leaps of faith encircled in fervent prayer than they do like a GPS telling you to turn left in a hushed English accent.

Why? Because He has promised that if you put your faith in Him and recognize Him, He will guide you in the right direction. I pray for grace and peace for you. Kendra
