And, in the majority of cases, it is not their fault.They have not seen authentic Christianity exemplified by grownups in their lives.Jesus has been relegated to the background of a ″Christian″ way of life.

People of all ages, but particularly teens and young adults, require a cause that they are enthusiastic about.
The proverbial saying goes, ″Until you have something worth dying for, you have nothing worth living for.″ This is true in a variety of ways, and it manifests itself in a variety of attitudes and acts.
Some people grow pessimistic and settle for boredom or even commit themselves because they have lost all hope.
Those who are enthusiastic about a cause will lose their life to support it.
In many cases, these factors are detrimental not just to themselves, but also to society as a whole.

Nonetheless, they think they are doing the right thing and are enjoying some level of self-fulfillment in doing so.They have either forgotten or never knew the answer to the most fundamental issue of human existence: Who is Jesus to me.Many churches now preach half-truths or outright lies, which turn off those who are looking for the truth and turn them away from the church.

People who truly follow Jesus, as recorded in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), will realize that Jesus never made it simple for them to do so.He was never willing to make concessions or make false promises.He was to be the Saviour and the Lord of all.Period.

He was forthright about the adversity that will befall His disciples in the future.And He was the one who showed the way.He was also forthright about the ramifications of refusing to acknowledge Him as Lord and Saviour.Most people despise Christianity not because they don’t understand what Jesus taught, but rather because they do understand what Jesus taught!″Many preachers preach in order to gain popularity rather than in order to change lives.

Their sermons are composed primarily of their own ideas, with only a little percentage of God’s truth sprinkled throughout.

Introducing Jesus

Jesus is, in fact, the absolute center of the cosmos.Nothing would exist if it weren’t for Him.Even though it is a slap in the face to human pride, everything was created for Jesus Christ and only gets its rightful purpose when seen in light of His person.

He is the catalyst for everything, absolutely everything.Everything, above and below, visible and unseen, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything began and finds its ultimate fulfillment in him.He was there long before any of it came into being, and he continues to keep it all together to this day.

1:16-17; Message to be Delivered The only way forward for the world is for people to rediscover Who Jesus really is.
I should mention that this is also the sole chance for the church, if I may say so.
Remember the verse from Revelation 3:20?

I’m right here!I approach the front door and knock.If anybody hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and have a meal with him, and he will share a meal with Me.

Rather than the godless, this letter was addressed to the church!The Lord Jesus was having difficulty entering into the church, and I’m sure He sympathizes with the many new Christians who are also experiencing difficulty getting into the church.Finding Jesus is not about theology, though it is vital.It is about discovering who Jesus is.

We can study everything there is to know about Jesus, but life happens only when we come to know Jesus personally.It must be a developing, close human relationship; else, it is just a collection of data.If you read the following articles, I hope you gain a better understanding of ″who Jesus is,″ but please understand that this is pointless unless you have personally seen Jesus.If you have never encountered Jesus before, the books Introduction to Life and Reality Check are excellent places to begin.

Otherwise, have a look at the items below, but remember that the question is not how much you know about Jesus, but how well you know Jesus.
Finally, you must answer the question, ″Who is Jesus?″ for yourself.
The response you provide will determine the trajectory of your life.

Who Is Jesus?

He died in order to reconcile her to Himself.
He takes pleasure in her as a Lover who has been enchanted by love.

What Motivated Jesus to Take Action?

We have the impression that Jesus is racing about to satisfy everyone’s wants and solve all of their issues.

YOUTH GROUP LESSONS ON JESUS

Years ago, while spending some alone time with God, I came dangerously close to being jailed.I know, that sounds insane, doesn’t it?!?!Allow me to explain.

I was praying by myself on a tennis court near my apartment building.I enjoyed praying in the fresh air.It was approximately 11 p.m.

at the time.
I was a busy seminary student and full-time minister at the time, so it was at those times that I prayed and spent alone time with the Lord.
Not to mention that I may have been praying aloud without even recognizing it at the time!
I’m aware that I have problems.
The police were summoned when neighbors noticed a weird young man talking to himself out loud late at night and reported it to the authorities.

They were expected to discover someone intoxicated or high on drugs when they arrived.I was none of these things.They asked for my driver’s license, which I immediately provided.

As a result of an unpaid speeding ticket, my license was flagged for some inexplicable reason, and I was informed that I had an arrest warrant out for my arrest.But I was well aware that I had already paid the fine!As a result, I asked them not to arrest me.I informed them that I was praying.

My friends and family undoubtedly thought I was insane and felt sorry for me.After approximately 15 minutes of being in the back of the police cruiser, they eventually released me.I felt relieved to be free!The next day, I went to the DMV to try to settle things out with them.

The lesson has been learnt.
I shouldn’t have been praying aloud in the middle of the night on a public tennis court.
At the very least, I made it a goal to spend alone time with God in the following days.
It’s a habit that everyone should strive to cultivate.
Jesus took time away from the crowds and the rigors of ministry in order to spend time with the Father.
From his example, the kids in your ministry may learn a great deal.

CROWD TAG IS THE OPENING GAME Take the group to a broad open space and draw the borders around them (preferably no larger than a basketball court size).
The name of this game is Crowd Tag.

Similar to tag, except that I will shout out a number and you must form a group of that size, link arms, and attempt to tag other groups of people.Each time you tag another crowd, they are obligated to join yours until there is only one group remaining.However, there is a catch: if I call out another number, the game will restart and you will be required to form a group with the number of persons I called out.In addition, if you are unable to make your way through a throng and get tagged by yourself, you are eliminated.You can play the game as many times as you like.

TEACH Consider the game of Crowd Tag.Inquire as to how it felt to be part of a group as opposed to being alone.Is it more pleasant to be in a crowd or to be by yourself?Okay, I’m going to take a poll of the audience: Raise your hand if you would have preferred to have been alone rather than among a large group of people.These are the introverts, the people who would much rather remain in with Netflix and a nice blanket than go out with a large group of people to socialize.Raise your hand if you enjoy being in the company of others.

These are the extroverts, the folks that thrive in a large group of people.
Each of us is unique, and although some of us enjoy being among a large group of people, others prefer to be alone.
Consider the possibility that you were a celebrity.
And the masses followed you everywhere you went, no matter where you went.

What would your reaction be if it happened?You extroverts may relish the idea of having a mob following you wherever you go, but the introverts in your company are probably freaking out right now just thinking about it.Please share with the community your personality type: are you more outgoing or more introverted?If you have a hilarious or important anecdote about what this could look like for you, please share it with the group.Consider, however, that the audience was always present.

You were wide awake when you awoke.When you wanted to sit down to a meal.Once in a while, you just needed to rest.Everywhere you looked, there was a throng vying for your attention.

And soon you realize that the days of being able to simply rest or pick what you want to do are over…because the crowd is there, and they want and want something from you…because the crowd is there.You may raise your hand if you feel as though you could pass out from the tension of merely thinking about this.Because what I just stated is exactly what Jesus had to deal with throughout his time as a public servant.Have any of you ever pondered what it must have been like to be Jesus on the cross?

Consider what it would have been like for the general public to learn that there was a man who had the ability to heal ailments.If you were blind, you wanted to come to Jesus as soon as possible.If you were unwell, you wanted to go to Jesus as soon as possible.All of these folks are in serious need of finding their way to Jesus.Remember that song about a small person named Zaccheus that you might have sang when you were a kid?

Because the crowds were so dense, he had to climb up into a tree to get a better view of Jesus.Everyone needed Jesus and was yearning to simply get a glimpse of him when he was on the scene.Even just thinking about it makes me feel anxious!What would you have done if you were Jesus in that situation?

Consider this: how many of you have experienced stress in the past year or so?
Perhaps you’re sitting here thinking about all of the homework that you have to complete for the semester.
You have practice, school, and maybe work on your schedule.
You have to maintain good grades while participating in sports such as basketball, football, baseball, track, dance, and so on.
And simply think about what it might be like when you are an older child or an adult.
With a job, that is.

In addition, there are children.
Isn’t it true that stress exists?
And it seems like everyone you know is overworked and underutilized.
But can you imagine the pressure and craziness that Jesus must have been under?
Seriously, consider what it must have been like to have been Jesus for a moment.

To be informed that you have been tasked with saving the world?!Isn’t that crazy?And it is at this point that Jesus reveals an incredible secret to us.It’s a secret that we should all know, but that we don’t always remember.Request a volunteer to read Mark 1:35-39 from memory.What was the secret that Jesus was able to impart with us here in this place?

When things became hectic and people needed him here and there, he was there for them.To put things right, to heal this individual, and so forth.What exactly did Jesus do?

He walked out to pray on his own for a while.He even woke up early in the morning.You can only imagine how exhausted he must have been.

″That evening, after sunset, the people brought Jesus all the ill and demon-possessed individuals,″ says the Bible in verses 32-34.The WHOLE TOWN came at the door, and Jesus healed a large number of people who were suffering from various ailments.He also expelled a large number of demons…″ The entire community had gathered at his front door.Think about how late Jesus must have been up, and you have to admit that casting out devils is some heavy effort.And what does Jesus do in this situation?

He gets up early in the morning.
He decides to walk off on his own.
And he prays as well.
What would you do if Jesus felt the need to do this?
What is the remedy for stress and being so overburdened that you can’t remember what you’re supposed to be doing next?
Leave the group and pray on your own.

When are you planning to complete that task this week?Perhaps some of you are simply in need of a break from this room and a quiet place to pray at this time.Make use of the time you have right now…stretch out in this place.

Allow yourself to be free of distractions.
Don’t think about all you have to accomplish or about the people around you as you pray.
That is a wonderful secret that Jesus has revealed – Please go and pray.
Allow the group to pray in silence for a period of time, or play some soft music to allow them an opportunity to pray.

How to Help Teens Relate to Jesus

What is the relationship between adolescents and Jesus?Your teenagers are likely to have a variety of items that they link with Jesus.If kids grew up in church, it’s possible that they identify Him with cartoon characters during story time.

Others may assume that He is uninterested in their life or their difficulties.Alternatively, some people may be more accustomed to hearing His name spoken in jest.Others may doubt His existence since He did not respond to their prayers in the manner in which they had requested Him to do so.

No matter what your teenagers have previously thought about Jesus, there are some things they should know about Him in order to grow in their Christian faith.
These facts about Jesus should be shared with your pupils whenever they have questions or when you are teaching them more about Him.
Ensure that they can navigate today’s world with Jesus at their side.

He’s a Friend Who Knows Them

Consider the possibility of having a companion who has gone through all you have.That individual knows our anxieties, pleasures, grief, and disappointments, and can relate to them.Communicate to your adolescents that Jesus is that buddy—the type of friend that we all require!

He is aware of what they have gone through in the past as well as what they are going through in the present.″Whoever loves God is recognized by God,″ Paul writes in his first epistle to the Corinthians, and we may take his words to heart (8:3).As well as this, we read in Hebrews 4:14-16, ″Therefore, because we have a great high priest who has climbed into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us cling steadfastly to the faith that we proclaim.″ Indeed, we do not have a high priest who is unable to understand our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—and yet he has refrained from succumbing to the temptation.

Then let us come boldly to God’s throne of grace, trusting that we will be mercifully received and that we will find grace to assist us in our time of need.
The knowledge that Jesus understands them, even when they feel that no one else does, may be comforting to them.
In the same way that Jesus understands what it’s like to be tempted, He also understands what it’s like to have someone harm, make fun of, or betray you.
However, it is also consoling to know that, despite the fact that Jesus lived as a human, He was the best sort of human.

He’s a Dependable Friend

The reason we can rely on Him is that, despite the fact that He has intimate understanding of what it is like to be us, He is not a mere replica of ourselves.He is always genuine, always intelligent, always just, and always loving, no matter what the situation.In addition, as a result of His atonement for our sins, those of us who believe in Him and have confessed Him to be our Savior can approach God with the assurance that our standing before God is solid.

We can always rely on finding mercy in such parts of the world.Regardless of whether or not He knows who we are, we can always depend on receiving grace—both despite and because He knows who we are.

He Never Leaves or Betrays Them

The idea that there is someone who would never leave or betray us is difficult to accept in a society where cyberbullying is rampant and friends betray one another in a variety of ways is commonplace.Inform your teenagers that Jesus is constantly present with them.He will never abandon them or alter His mind about being their buddy.

He will always be there for them.″Keep your life free from the desire of money and be happy with what you have,″ the Bible says in Hebrews 13:5-8.″Never will I leave you, and never will I abandon you,″ God promises.

In this way, we may confidently proclaim, ″The Lord is my helper; I will fear no evil.″ ″What can simple mortals do to me?″ you might wonder.
Keep in mind your forefathers and foremothers, who spoke the word of God to you.
Reflect on the effect of their lifestyle and emulate their religious beliefs.
Jesus Christ is the same today as he was yesterday and will be tomorrow.
However, even though the writer begins by discussing satisfaction in terms of monetary riches, the words ring true for a wide range of situations in which we may be experiencing some form of loss or yearning for further resources.

It may be quite relieving and comforting for adolescents to hear the words ″Never will I abandon you; never will I forsake you″ when they are feeling left out or rejected.Moreover, you may assist them in seeing this by pointing out ways in which God is with us, by pointing out other individuals in the adolescent’s life who are faithful, and even by modeling this for the kid yourself by being a continuous good presence in their lives.

He Does Not Condemn Them

Teens are likely to feel pressure to strive and accomplish in a variety of settings, including school, athletics, hobbies, and professions.
They may become fearful of failing as a result of this pressure.
Will they still be loved if they don’t succeed and reach their goals?
Will they be sufficient in the future?
These worries, doubts, and pressures can have an impact on how individuals believe about God and the universe.

Teens, on the other hand, need to understand that God does not evaluate them according to the same standards that the rest of the world uses to judge individuals.
In Jesus’ sight, there is never any doubt about our worth.
Inform your teenagers that Jesus does not hold them responsible for their actions.
Romans 8:1, 2 says that those who are in Christ Jesus have been set free from the law of sin and death because in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death, as stated in the verses above.
Teens may find the phrase ″law of sin and death″ odd (and maybe frightening), but you can explain to them that this passage is simply referring to the way of life that existed before Jesus died for us and was raised.
Anyone who sinned would eventually die and be separated from God prior to Jesus’ death and resurrection.

But today, even when we fail and make poor decisions, even when we cause harm to one another, Jesus does not sentence us to death and isolation from one another.
Instead, we can be forgiven, restored to wholeness, and given the opportunity to live forever with God.

He Listens to Them

Despite the fact that our society provides a profusion of social media outlets for the dissemination of information, many youth do not feel heard.
Despite the fact that they post on social media, they believe that no one is genuinely listening to what they are saying.
They may believe that in order for what they say to be heard, they must have a specific amount of likes or followers on social media.
Inform teenagers that Jesus hears people who believe in Him and call on His name, and that He respects and honors their views and ideas as well as their own.
Regardless of our age, He is interested in hearing our thoughts and feelings, and he is available at all times.

I write these things to you because you believe in the name of the Son of God, and I want you to know that you have everlasting life as a result of your faith.
This is the assurance we have when we approach God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he will listen to our request.
And if we know that he hears us—no matter what we ask—we may be certain that we will get what we have asked of him.

He Equips Them for All Situations

Teens may feel unprepared for the difficulties or problems that they experience.
They’re still young enough to be acquiring many life skills, but they’re also old enough that adults expect more from them than they are capable of providing.
As a result of this conflict between childhood and maturity, many teenagers feel overwhelmed.
Inform them that Jesus comes to us in our moments of greatest need and offers us with the strength and courage to carry forward, no matter how difficult the situation appears to be at the time.
Paul spoke in his epistle to the Philippians about how we don’t need to be concerned about anything, but that instead we should continually delight in the Lord’s provision (4:4-6).

And we will be able to do so because the ″peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will protect hearts and minds in Christ Jesus,″ as the Bible says (v.
7).
The apostle Paul then exhorted his listeners to dwell on really excellent things (vv.
8, 9) in the hope that the God of peace would be with them as a result of their efforts.
Finally, Paul expressed his gratitude to his companions at Philippi for their love and support during his ordeal.
In this context, Paul declares, ″I have learnt to be satisfied no matter what circumstances I find myself in″ (v.

11).
And he went on to explain, ″I understand what it’s like to be in need, and I understand what it’s like to be in abundance.″ When it comes to being content in every and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether surrounded by wealth or in lack, I have discovered the key.
I am able to achieve all of this because he provides me with the necessary strength.
(verses 12, 13)

Encouragement for Students

Encourage kids to see that they may be happy in any situation, whether they have a hectic schedule or are bored to death.
Whether they are well-liked or despised, whether they have a job or are completely without money.
Your pupils will be able to see the benefits that Jesus has brought to their life and will be encouraged by this.
Because of Jesus’ arrival, they are able to contemplate the good, real, and lovely things that exist in this world.
They might feel grateful to people who have supported and cared for them in the past.

Jesus

Christian religious leader Jesus (born c.
6–4 bce in Bethlehem, died c.
30 ce in Jerusalem), also known as Jesus Christ, Jesus of Galilee, or Jesus of Nazareth (born c.
6–4 bce in Bethlehem, died c.
30 ce in Jerusalem), was one of the world’s great faiths.

The majority of Christians believe that he is the God-man, or the Incarnation of God.

Name and title

Ancient Jews often had only one name, and when further detail was required, it was traditional to include the father’s surname or the location of origin in the name as well.
As a result, throughout his lifetime, Jesus was referred to as Jesus son of Joseph (Luke 4:22; John 1:45, 6:42), Jesus of Nazareth (Acts 10:38), or Jesus the Nazarene (Luke 4:22).
(Mark 1:24; Luke 24:19).
Following his death, he was given the title ″Jesus Christ.″ Christ was not originally a given name, but rather a title derived from the Greek word christos, which is a translation of the Hebrew phrase meshiah (Messiah), which means ″the anointed one,″ as in ″the anointed one.″ Jesus’ disciples considered him to be the anointed son of King David, and some Jews anticipated him to restore the fortunes of Israel as a result of this title attribution.
Early Christian writers were aware that the Christ was a proper title, as evidenced by passages such as Acts 2:36, but in many passages of the New Testament, including those found in the letters of Apostle Paul, Jesus’ name and title are combined and used together as Jesus’ name: Jesus Christ, also spelled Christ Jesus (Romans 1:1; 3:24).

Paul referred to Jesus by his given name, Christ, on occasion (e.g., Romans 5:6).

Summary of Jesus’ life

Even though he was born in Bethlehem, Jesus was a Galilean from Nazareth, a town near Sepphoris, one of the two major cities in Galilee, according to the gospels of Matthew and Luke (Tiberias was the other).
He was born to Joseph and Mary somewhere between 6 bce and just before the death of Herod the Great (Matthew 2; Luke 1:5) in 4 bce, according to the earliest available evidence.
However, according to Matthew and Luke, Joseph was solely his legal father in the eyes of the law.
They claim that Mary was a virgin when Jesus was conceived and that she was ″discovered to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit″ when Jesus was born (Matthew 1:18; cf.
Luke 1:35).

When Joseph was a carpenter (Matthew 13:55), it was considered to be an honorable profession because it required the use of one’s hands.
And, according to Mark 6:3, Jesus himself became a carpenter.
Despite the fact that Luke (2:41–52) claims that Jesus was precociously intelligent as a youngster, there is no additional proof of his childhood or early life.
He was baptized by the prophet John the Baptist when he was a young adult, and he went on to become an itinerant preacher and healer after that (Mark 1:2–28).
While in his mid-30s, Jesus had a brief public career that lasted maybe less than a year, but it was at that time that he drew widespread notice.
He traveled to Jerusalem to commemorate Passover at some point between 29 and 33 CE—possibly as early as 30 CE—where, according to the Gospels, his entry was triumphal and filled with eschatological significance, and he died shortly after.

He was apprehended, tried, and killed while he was there.
Following his resurrection from the grave, his disciples started to believe that he had appeared to them.
They persuaded others to believe in him, which resulted in the establishment of a new religion, Christianity.

Jesus Christ

A religious leader whose life and teachings are chronicled in the New Testament of the Bible, Jesus is known as the Son of God. He is regarded as a major figure in Christianity, and he is revered as the incarnation of God by millions of Christians throughout the globe.

Who Was Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem in the year 6 B.C.
The details of his early life are sketchy, but his life and career are recounted in the New Testament, which is more of a theological text than a biographical one.
The incarnation of God, in the eyes of Christians, is Jesus Christ, and his teachings are used as a model for leading a more spiritual lifestyle.
Christians believe that he died on the cross for the sins of all humanity and that he rose again from the grave.

Background and Early Life

The four Gospels of the New Testament Bible, known as the Canonical gospels, were written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John and include the majority of the story of Jesus’ life.
These are not traditional biographies in the contemporary sense, but rather narratives with an allegorical purpose.
They are written in order to inspire trust in Jesus as the Messiah and the incarnation of God, who came to teach, suffer, and die in order to atone for the sins of the world.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem about the year 6 B.C.
In the beginning, his mother, Mary, was a virgin who was engaged to Joseph, a carpenter at the time of his birth.

The Immaculate Conception, according to Christian belief, was the means through which Jesus was born.
His ancestors may be traced back to the House of David in Jerusalem.
Several passages in the Gospel of Matthew (2:1) state that Jesus was born during the reign of Herod the Great, who, upon learning of Jesus’ birth, felt threatened and attempted to assassinate him by ordering the execution of all of Bethlehem’s male infants under the age of two.
Although Mary and the infant were sent to Egypt until Herod’s death, Joseph was warned by an angel and returned with them to the town of Nazareth, in Galilee, where they remained until Herod’s death was announced.
There is virtually little information available concerning Jesus’ early years.
Jesus was twelve years old when he joined his parents on a visit to Jerusalem, and the Gospel of Luke (2:41-52) tells the story of how they were separated.

He was discovered several days later in a temple, where he was engaged in a discussion with some of Jerusalem’s elders about the state of the city.
A carpenter is mentioned several times in the New Testament while Jesus was a young adult, and this occupation is mentioned several times in the Gospel of Matthew.
Historically, it is thought that he began his ministry at the age of thirty, following his baptism by John the Baptist, who recognized Jesus as the Son of God upon seeing him.
Following his baptism, Jesus journeyed into the Judean desert for 40 days and nights, fasting and meditating.

The temptation of Christ is described in detail in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, among other places (known as the Synoptic Gospels).The Devil appeared to Jesus three times and offered him three temptations: once to transform stone into bread, once to fling himself off a mountain where angels would save him, and once to offer him all of the kingdoms of the earth.Jesus refused all three temptations.

The Devil’s seduction was refused by Jesus on all three occasions, and he was expelled from the temple.

Jesus’ Ministry

Jesus returned to Galilee and made many journeys to surrounding villages during his time there.
During this period, a number of individuals accepted his invitation to become his followers.
Another was Mary Magdalene, who is initially mentioned in the Gospel of Luke (8:1–3) and then in all four gospels at the time of Jesus’ crucifixion, according to the Bible.
Despite the fact that she is not named in the context of the ″12 disciples,″ she is widely regarded as having been active in Jesus’ ministry from the beginning through his death and after that.
Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene for the first time following his resurrection, according to the gospels of Mark and John.

After his baptism, Jesus and his followers journeyed with his mother, Mary, to a wedding at Cana, Galilee, according to the Gospel of John (2:1-11).
This marked the beginning of Jesus’ ministry.
As a result, the wedding host had run out of wine, and Jesus’ mother approached him for assistance.
For a time, Jesus hesitated to interfere, but he eventually surrendered and requested a servant to bring him several huge jars of water to drink.
He transformed the water into a wine that was superior in quality to any of the wines offered at the wedding.
The occurrence is depicted in John’s gospel as the first indication of Jesus’ splendor and the beginning of his followers’ faith in him.

Following the wedding, Jesus, his mother Mary, and his followers journeyed to Jerusalem for the Feast of the Feast of the Passover.
They came across moneychangers and businessmen who were selling their items at the temple.
In a rare outburst of rage, Jesus overturned the tables and drove them out with a whip made of cords, stating that his Father’s home is not a place for merchants to dwell.
When Jesus journeyed across Judea and Galilee, the Synoptic Gospels chronicled his journey, in which he used parables and miracles to demonstrate how prophecies were being fulfilled and that the kingdom of God was on the horizon.

As news spread about Jesus’ teaching and healing of the ill and afflicted, more and more people came to believe in him and follow him.After a while, Jesus came to a level place, where he was surrounded by a large number of followers.The Sermon on the Mount is a series of talks delivered by Jesus during his time on the mountain, known as the Beatitudes, which encompass many of the spiritual teachings of love, humility, and compassion.

In response to Jesus’ persistent preaching about the kingdom of God, the gathering crowds expanded in number and began to identify him as David’s son and as the Messiah.When the Pharisees learned about this, they publicly questioned Jesus, accusing him of wielding Satan’s power against them.He justified his acts with plausible deniability, then questioned their logic and informed them that such thinking contradicted the might of God, which only served to cement their desire to work in opposition to him.Jesus and his followers met near the city of Caesarea Philippi for a discussion.

Several times in the gospels of Matthew (16:13), Mark (8:27), and Luke (9:18), he is reported to have inquired, ″Who do you claim that I am?″ When asked the question, they were all perplexed; only Peter answered with the words, ″You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.″ Jesus blessed Peter, embracing the names of ″Christ″ and ″Son of God,″ and declared the declaration to be a heavenly revelation from God, according to the Bible.
Later on in the gospels, Jesus named Peter as the leader of the church.
Jesus then told his disciples of the Pharisees’ plot against him, as well as of his fate, which was to suffer and be slain, only to return from the dead on the third day after his death.
A little more than a week later, Jesus brought three of his followers to the top of a mountain where they might pray in solitude.

According to the Synoptic Gospels, Jesus’ face started to shine brightly like the sun, and his entire body was bathed in a brilliant white light as he spoke.
Then the prophets Elijah and Moses arrived, and Jesus spoke with them in a private conversation.
In the distance, a dazzling cloud appeared around them, and a voice said, ″This is my beloved Son, with whom I am pleased; pay attention to him.″ This occurrence, known as the Transfiguration, is regarded as a watershed moment in the history of Christian theology.
Support for Jesus’ identification as Christ, the Son of the living God, is provided by this passage.
During the week leading up to the Passover celebration, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey.
A large number of people met him at the city’s entrance with palm branches, which he accepted.

It was they who hailed him as the Son of David, as well as the Son of the Most High God.
The priests and Pharisees were concerned about the rising popularity of Jesus and believed he needed to be stopped.
The final week of Jesus’ life in Jerusalem is described in all four Gospels.
During this period, Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the grave, battled moneychangers and merchants in the temple, and engaged in a dispute with the high priests who questioned Jesus’s authority in the first century.

He warned his disciples about the events that will take place in the following days, including the destruction of Jerusalem’s temple.Meanwhile, the chiefpriests and elders convened with Caiaphas, the high priest, and put preparations in action to have Jesus arrested and crucified.One of the disciples, Judas, met with the chiefpriests and informed them of the plan he had devised to surrender Jesus to the authorities.They agreed to pay him 30 pieces of silver in exchange for his services.

The Last Supper

Jesus and his twelve disciples gathered for the Passover dinner, during which he spoke his final words of faith to them.
He also foresaw his betrayal by one of the disciples and secretly informed Judas that it was he who had betrayed him.
Peter was informed by Jesus that he would have denied knowing Jesus three times before the rooster crowed the next morning unless he repented.
At the conclusion of the dinner, Jesus inaugurated the Eucharist, which in the Christian religion represents the establishment of a covenant between God and human beings.
Immediately following the Last Supper, Jesus and his followers journeyed to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray.

Jesus pleaded with God, asking if this cup (his pain and death) might be removed from him.
He pleaded with a group of his followers to join him in prayer, but they refused to do so and fell asleep.
Then the moment had arrived.
Suddenly, soldiers and government officials came, and Judas was among them.
In order to identify him, he kissed the cheek of Jesus, and the soldiers arrested the young man.
One of the disciples attempted to resist arrest by brandishing his sword and severing the ear of one of the officers.

But Jesus rebuked him and cured the soldier’s wound as a result of his actions.
Following his incarceration, several of his disciples fled to safety in hiding.
When Jesus was led to the high priest, he was questioned for several hours.
He was spit on and hit as a result of his failure to respond.
