I think it was God who poured life into her.I read it every day and mark the passages that I wish to return to.I’ve already purchased one for my mother and another for my sister, and I’m now purchasing another for a friend.Please disregard any negative reviews and remember that this is a gift from God, since she includes true Bible scriptures on each love letter.Thank you.Everyone should have a copy, and you will not be disappointed.

On January 14, 2019, a verified purchase was reviewed in the United States of America.After hearing so many wonderful things about this book, I decided to purchase it as my daily devotional for the year 2019.I was immediately disturbed by the fact that the book is written in the first person, as if God were speaking directly to the reader.I explained to myself that it was just different from the other devotional books I’d used in the past, and that I would grow used to it with time.However, I have not become acclimated to the format; in fact, the more I read, the more disconcerting it becomes for me.

It has the appearance that the author is putting words in God’s mouth, which, in my opinion, should not be done because the Bible is genuinely the only source of divine revelation.Furthermore, the Bible references provided with each item are sometimes only a single verse plucked out of context in order to corroborate what has been said in the post.I would say that this is not my style and is not inspiring for me.Some of the plaudits that this book and its companion volume, ″Jesus Always,″ have earned are beyond my comprehension.On November 2, 2018, a review was published in the United States, confirming the purchase.This work is brimming with mysticism.

• If she had merely used the pronoun ″I″ instead of ″He″ to make it clear that these are her words and not those of Jesus, the devotional and her views may have been perceived as a source of consolation by the audience.
• Despite this, I would have preferred to have all editions of Jesus Calling include complete scriptural texts rather than simply allusions to certain passages.
• This might have been a powerful devotional if those two factors had worked together instead of making it the weird read that it is now.

• The only reason Jesus Calling exists is because Sarah Young had a strong yearning to hear from God in a way that was not included inside the Bible.

• I had been writing in prayer diaries for years, but it was a one-way communication channel: I was the one who was saying everything.

Final analysis: Young’s expectations for how we should interpret Jesus’ remarks to her do not differ much from how we are expected to interpret the Bible.″I mean, Jesus’ words to Sarah are actually packed into a devotional, so that we may use them as the basis for our devotionals on a daily basis.″ In the event that her words were genuinely spoken by Christ, how can they be any less authoritative or binding than any other statement in the Bible?6.

She engages in occult rituals and activities.There is something arcane about the manner in which Young obtains her revelation from Jesus.″I made the decision to listen to God with a pen in hand, jotting down everything I believed He was telling me.″ Although it was awkward the first time, I did receive a message as a result of this.It was succinct, biblical, and on the mark.It addressed subjects that were topical in my life: trust, fear, and closeness to God.

″I replied by jotting down some thoughts in my prayer diary.″ This is somewhat dissimilar to the technique known as ″automatic writing,″ which, according to Wikipedia, is ″an claimed psychic gift that allows a person to write written words without consciously writing.″ ″It is said that the words came from a subconscious, spiritual, or supernatural source.″ It was God Calling that served as an inspiration for her, and it is even more evident that the authors let their thoughts to go blank at which time they allegedly got communications from God.This methodology differs significantly from the method by which God revealed himself in the Bible, in which God worked via the thoughts, personalities, and even studies of the authors.7.Her focus does not correspond to that of the Bible.Jesus Calling is considerably different in its emphasis from the Bible’s emphasis on the same subject matter.For example, she mentions sin and repentance just in passing, and even less about Christ’s work on the cross is mentioned.

″In terms of content, the message may be reduced to one point: trust me more in your everyday dependence, and you’ll love my presence,″ Michael Horton adds.While this is not inherently an unbiblical or unsuitable message, it is at odds with the overall thrust of the Bible, which constantly pushes toward or flows from the gospel of Jesus Christ as its central message.″On February 28th, the first reference of Christ even dying for our sins emerges,″ Horton explains further (page 61).

The following allusion (to donning Christ’s garment) occurs on August 9th (p.232).Even the readings for the month of December emphasize the broad presence of Jesus in our hearts and daily lives, rather than focusing on Jesus’ person and activities throughout history.″ 8.

Her tone does not correspond to that of the Bible.It can’t be argued with: In Sarah Young’s Jesus, she sounds strikingly like a middle-aged lady from the twenty-first century, Western culture.The question becomes: If this is, in fact, Jesus speaking, how can we explain why he sounds so unlike from the Jesus of the gospels or the Jesus of the book of Revelation?

1. ″When your joy in Me meets My joy in you, there are fireworks of celestial ecstasy,″ says Jesus (or his Father) in no other passage in Scripture.

As you direct your thoughts toward Me, keep in mind that I am completely focused on you.Because I have an endless attention span, I am able to maintain a steady gaze on you.I am entirely familiar with and understand you; my thoughts are wrapped around you in eternal Love.I also know what I have in store for you: plans to prosper you rather than harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, and plans to bring you joy.Give yourself completely over to this journey of increased awareness to My Presence, and you will succeed.January 2, according to Romans 12:2 and Jeremiah 29:11.

• This simple exercise will assist you in seeing Me in every situation, therefore accepting My sovereign rule over the entirety of creation.
• When you look at circumstances from this perspective—through the Light of My universal Presence—fear begins to lose its grip on your thoughts and actions.
• When you express your faith in Me no matter what, even the most difficult circumstances may be transformed into development opportunities.

It is with gratitude that you accept benefits, knowing that they have come directly from My hand of favor.Your persistent expression of faith in Me will improve our relationship and keep you close to Me in the long run.(See Psalm 63:2, Isaiah 40:10-11, and Psalm 139:7-10 for further information.) Ask My Spirit to take control of your thoughts so that you can think wonderful things about Me.It is important not to get disheartened by the fact that many of your prayers have not yet been answered.Time is a teacher, instructing you on how to wait for Me and how to put your confidence in Me in the dark.Your chances of seeing My Power and Glory at work in your scenario increase the more intense your circumstances are.In order to avoid becoming overwhelmed by challenges, try to see them as preparing the stage for My wonderful intervention.Keep your eyes and your thoughts wide open to what I am doing in your life, and you will succeed.

On January 7, the Bible references Ephesians 3:20-21, Romans 8:6, Isaiah 40:30-31 (NKJV), and Revelation 5:13.It is difficult to express enough gratitude or admiration for me.My people’s adoration for Me is written in their praises, and I dwell them.

You may experience spontaneous outpourings of Joy in reaction to bright beauty or abundant riches.This is what we call adoration.At other times, your praise is more controlled and calculated, as if it were a deliberate act on your part.

I take equal pleasure in both sorts of acclaim.Thankfulness is also a royal route that will bring you closer to Me.A heart full of gratitude has enough of place for Me.

1. When you express gratitude to Me for the various delights I bring, you are affirming that I am God, the source of all benefits.
