7eventh Time Down – Just Say Jesus Lyrics

Jewish people commemorate a number of significant days and historical events, including: Passover is a seven- or eight-day festival that commemorates the Jewish people’s liberation from slavery in Egypt. Passover, in particular, relates to the biblical tale of when the Hebrew God “passed over” the dwellings of Jewish families and protected their children during a plague that was claimed to have killed all other first-born babies in Egypt. Rosh Hashanah: During this festival, which is also known as the Jewish New Year, Jews commemorate the creation of the cosmos and mankind.

High Holy Days: The ten days beginning with Rosh Hashana and concluding with Yom Kippur are referred to as the High Holidays, the Days of Awe, or Yamim Noraim, depending on the tradition.

Hanukkah is a Jewish festival that lasts eight days and is also known as the “Festival of Lights.” Hanukkah marks the rededication of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem when the Maccabees overcame the Syrian-Greeks more than 2,000 years ago, marking the beginning of the Jewish New Year.

Just Say Jesus

“It was a Wednesday night, and I had just returned home from youth group, and I was having serious doubts about God and my salvation at the time. I said to myself, “Listen up, it’s either all or nothing here. I’m all set.” I dialed my youth pastor’s phone number and said, “To be completely honest with you, this may come as a surprise to you, but I am not saved, and I have not been saved for a long time. I have nothing left, and life is a living hell. I’m in desperate need of Jesus. I’d want to have what I’ve been talking about for the past many years.” He was taken aback.

I had even been listening to Christian music, yet I was as far away from God as somebody could possibly be.

Eventually, I realized that I had been living a lie since I wasn’t truly saved, and I had to tell them all.

When we were crafting the song, we spoke about a lot of different things.

As Christians, we forget to simply call on the name of the Lord from time to time. We hear it all the time in church, but we seldom remember to say it out loud to ourselves.” – Mikey Howard, lead vocalist of 7eventh Time Down, on his musical influences

Try This When You Don’t Know What To Pray

Have you ever had times when you don’t know what to pray? You desperately want to pray but the words just won’t come! Whether you’re walking through a crisis, dealing with a difficult person or simply having a bad day, know that you’re not alone. Let me share what I do when the words won’t come and I don’t know what to pray.

Having no clue where to begin or even what to say when I sat down to talk to God was a source of great frustration for me for many years. I was certain that there was something wrong with me, or maybe that I was extremely “un-spiritual.” I’ve subsequently discovered that this is not the case at all, and the Lord has shown me what to do when I’m at a loss for what to pray for a certain purpose. Try one of these suggestions the next time you’re stuck for something to pray about. They’ve been shown to be effective for me.

1. Let The Holy Spirit Pray For You

I’ll drop my head in prayer when I’m going through a difficult time in my own life, or when I hear of bad news from friends, but the words simply won’t come. As a result, the words from Romans 8:26 “In the same way, the Spirit assists us in our weaknesses” come to mind. While we are unable to discern what we should pray for, the Spirit himself intercedes on our behalf via wordless moans.” I understand that asking the Holy Spirit to intercede on our behalf may seem strange, but I’d want to urge you to give it a shot.

After all, who better to intercede on your behalf than the Holy Spirit himself?

2. Speak the Name of Jesus

“When you’re stuck for words, just say Jesus,” says the author. The name of Jesus has power because it is the name of God. Simply saying Jesus will suffice if the words won’t come because you’re too terrified to pray. – Just Say Jesus from the Seventeenth Time Down Exactly like the lyrics of the song state, “There is strength in the name of Jesus!” When you’re stuck for what to pray about, just say His name and you’ll be shocked at how much serenity it will bring.

3. Journal Your Thoughts

In fact, the idea for journaling originated from one of my readers who commented on this piece when I initially published it in the first place. If you’re wondering what Deb has to say about writing when she’s not sure what to pray for, read on: I’ve discovered that writing in my diary more like letters to God has proven to be beneficial. Sometimes I am inspired right from the first key strokes, and other times it takes a little longer. Dear God, I’m at a loss for what to say. What’s up, God?

I pray that you are and that you would cast a light on me since I am completely lost right now.

Why not try writing when the words just won’t flow during your prayer time, whether you use a pen and paper or a computer to type out your thoughts?

Journal using the Abundant Living Prayer Journal

There are four keys to an abundant prayer life included in this diary, which will teach you how to pray as well as guide you through daily prompts as you begin your prayer time each day. The journal also offers daily prompts. When I put these principles into practice, my daily prayer life was altered, and praying became much more effortless.

I hope you find them useful. Instead of always begging the Lord for things, I began to have intimate dialogues with Him, and I desire the same for you as well. Take a look at my Etsy shop to get your journal!

4. Listen to Praise and Worship Music

When one of my favorite songs comes on, do I think I’m the only one who breaks into tiny praise and worship sessions? What better method to communicate with the Lord than to praise and honor Him via praise and worship music? There are several songs that have special value for me because the Lord used them to help me get through a difficult period. When I hear those songs, I can’t help but express my gratitude to the Lord for seeing me through that difficult period. Related: 20+ Songs About Fear to Inspire You When You’re Having a Bad Day

5. Say Scripture Out Loud

When we proclaim the Word of God over ourselves or over our circumstances, we have tremendous power. Repeat the passage aloud until it becomes ingrained in your mind and heart. I’m not sure where to begin, but the Psalms have always been a great source of consolation for me. I’ve also put together a compilation of passages about believing God when all confidence seems to have been gone, as well as verses about finding strength in difficult circumstances.

6. Draw/Sketch A Picture

In the event that you are artistically inclined, take out your tools and sketch or draw out your ideas and feelings as you pray to God. I have no doubt that He will be able to communicate with you, and that you will begin to have a discussion with Him while you are sketching or painting.

7. Be Still In His Presence

Many times, we conceive of prayer as just being a conversation between us and the Lord. And although being still and waiting for Him to communicate with us is an important component of prayer, being still and waiting for Him to commune with us is also an important aspect of prayer. However, while I’ve never heard God’s audible voice while I’ve been completely silent during prayer, there have been several instances in which He has spoken to me via the Holy Spirit, such as by giving me a little nudge or calling on my heart when various thoughts cross my mind.

If you’re sitting down to pray and aren’t sure where to begin, consider one of these suggestions the next time.

James 4:8 assures us that if we make the effort to meet with Him, He will make the effort to meet with us.

When faced with a difficult situation and unsure of what to say, just mention “Jesus” is a powerful statement. These words reminded me that no matter where I am, who I am with, or what I am doing, all I have to do is repeat his name, “Jesus.” That’s exactly what this song is all about.

The Story Behind 7eventh Time Down’s “Just Say Jesus”

As a result of (Photo: bec Recordings) The Seventh Time is a Charm According to Mikey Howard, the main vocalist of the band Seventh Time Down, who spoke with Hallels.com exclusively, “Just Say Jesus” is the tale behind the band’s hit song “Just Say Jesus.” Kim – I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what you’re talking about. Let’s speak about “Just Say Jesus” for a minute. Everyone can connect to that song since we’ve all experienced times when life has become so overwhelming that it’s painful to continue living.

  • When you were creating the song, what memories from your personal life came back to you and served as inspiration for the song?
  • It wasn’t a single event; rather, it was the confluence of several experiences and difficulties.
  • I grew up in the Bible Belt, and I attended church every Sunday with my family.
  • Please do not misunderstand me.
  • It wasn’t that I didn’t care about him.
  • I never embraced Jesus as my Savior because I didn’t believe in him.
  • I had a lot of these situations where I couldn’t express myself.

I was in my early twenties and didn’t quite fit in at school.

I had grown up to be rather popular in athletics, and as a result, I went from having a large number of friends in middle school to having none in high school.

It was a Wednesday night, and I had just returned home from youth group, and I was having serious doubts about God and my salvation at the time.

I’m all set.” I dialed my youth pastor’s phone number and said, “To be completely honest with you, this may come as a surprise to you, but I am not saved, and I have not been saved for a long time.

I’m in desperate need of Jesus.

He assumed that because I came from a nice family and had been raised in a Christian environment, I knew what I was talking about.

That was a frightening spot for me to be in since I knew that all of my friends assumed I was a practicing Christian.

Even after I was saved, I experienced my fair share of low points in my life.

It was as if, when you’ve run out of options, when you’ve run out of things to say, there’s still one name that is stronger and more powerful than all of the things that happen in life.

As Christians, we forget to simply call on the name of the Lord from time to time. We hear it all the time in church, but we seldom remember to say it out loud to ourselves. Tags:Seventh Time DownSong StorySeventh Time Down

7eventh Time Down – Just Say Jesus – Reviews

7th Time Down is an artist from the United Kingdom. Just Say Jesus is the title of this article. BEC Recordings is the label for this release. Release Date:9/3/13 Jonathan Andre was the reviewer. Tracklisting:

  1. Wait for you
  2. The one I’m running to
  3. I’ll be right there. Just Say Jesus, Good Life, Hurricanes, Nothing to Give, Shadow, Religious and Famous, Free, and Renegade are some of the songs on this album.

With the release of their second studio album, Just Say Jesus, on September 3rd, the band from Kentucky, which bears striking resemblances to Seventh Day Slumber both musically and lyrically, has demonstrated what occurs when a band’s origins in rock music remain at the center of their identity (to me, they are a better version of 7 thDay Slumber, both in a lyrical and musical sense). As lead vocalist Mikey Howard points out, “.we just touch on a tiny amount of the brokenness because we feel like that portion of our journey is the smallest part of our tale,” the band’s music is a reflection of this.

I’m reminded of how the central theme that underpins the album, in how we call Christ to our sides always because Jesus is able to come when we ask, is such a central theme that is central for listeners (including myself) to take interest, not only in the song ‘Just Say Jesus,’ but in the entire album in general.

These four men of God, who have made their home at BEC Recordings, have provided us with tunes to appreciate in the vehicle late at night when all you want to listen to is rock music.

The shortness (which is quite noticeable considering that they only sing the chorus after the bridge once) is more than compensated for by the intense passion and hopeful encouragement that we receive as we hear the message of how, in times of dire need, our call to Jesus will be answered without delay or hesitation.

Mikey’s sincerity is unmistakable when he declares that ‘.when you don’t know what to say, just say Jesus.’, and even if you aren’t a fan of contemporary radio pop, this song is lyrically sound regardless of your musical preferences.

The band has created a melody that has charted on both K-Love and Air 1, influencing listeners all over the world as they themselves use the song as a catalyst to cry out to God in their time of need.

Mikey’s strong message of being with those we love in their own times of hardship, waiting for them just as others have waited for us, letting listeners know that ‘.until my bones crumble, I’m never giving up on you, till the day you come back, I’ll wait for you.’ Beautifully uplifting and encouraging, the song’s brilliance lies in the fact that it may be interpreted in two ways: either as us singing to our closest friends in tough times, pledging to stand by them no matter what; or as God singing towards us, expressing the exact same things.

See also:  How To Draw Jesus Step By Step

As a result of these two outstanding songs, which are among the album’s highlights, it is hoped that a seed of faith may be planted in the hearts of individuals seeking God (or even those who are not yet seeking Him).

We are reminded as Christians that God paid the ultimate price so that we could be free as Mikey reveals in this track that “.I’ve been a dark horse, running for way too long, chasing down dreams where I don’t belong.so tell me what it means to be free.,” something that we have all felt at some point in our lives.

KJ-52’s unexpected rap towards the end of the music is a great touch, and it’s one that will hopefully pique the interest of rap fans who may otherwise be uninterested in the track.

The strong uplifting message (if you can hear it over the guitars) of how we will not live like we did in the past, and that according to Mikey, ‘.I’m running like a renegade.’; the guitars and powerful instrumental intros keep coming in both ‘Good Life’ and ‘Religious and Famous,’ both guitar driven songs that aren’t quite as heavy as the few songs discussed in this paragraph, yet aren’t quite as reflective as ‘Just ‘Good Life’, which features a powerful and mesmerising guitar solo that reminds me of something Delirious?

guitarist Stu G.

The cheerful guitar driven tunes are the band’s strongest suit, but the slower tracks, such as the title track, ‘Hurricanes,’ and ‘Nothing to Give,’ serve to remind us of the band’s own artistic flexibility.

“Just Say Jesus” is a song about how we can see the power in Jesus’ name when we call on Jesus’ name.

‘Nothing to Give’, which explores themes of surrender and longing for God to fill us so that we can in turn go out and share God’s love with others, as well as the electronic keyboard infused ‘The One I’m Running To,’ a declaratory ballad with Mikey expressing his allegiance in the words of how ‘.You are the one I’m running to.’ (in times of trial and in times of hope and happiness); the band has delivered a great Overall: 7eventh Time Down, a band that is relatively new to BEC Recordings, will no longer be so new when their new album is heard by people all around the world, according to the band.

These fellas from Kentucky, who are perhaps one of my favorite musicians on BEC Recordings right now (with Jeremy Camp, Kutless, Shine Bright Baby, and KJ-52), give enough on this album to justify at the very least a listen.

Just Say Jesus was released in a month that saw a slew of excellent albums released (including records from musicians such as Newsboys, Bethel, The City Harmonic, Phil Wickham, and Steven Curtis Chapman); fans of the bands named above will undoubtedly love this album as well.

Congratulations on putting together such an enjoyable and heartfelt album! RIYL:RED, Fireflight, Seventh Day Slumber, Skillet, and Kutless are some of the songs on the album. Purchase the album on iTunes or Amazon mp3
