(Jeremiah 31:9) Because God is the firstborn, the ordinary people are referred to as God’s sons: ‘Ye are the children of the Lord your God,’ says the Bible.

Jesus is not God – Bible Verses and Proofs

God is incapable of death.God does not pray to himself in the traditional sense.God does not engage in debate with himself.God did not anoint himself with oil.

God is present in Jesus, but Jesus is not the same as God.
The following Bible verses will demonstrate that Jesus is not the Son of the Living God.
Everything in the Bible must be interpreted in the context in which it is written.
It is not possible to interpret something in whatever way you choose and say that it is the truth.
It is not necessary to understand the word of God in the Bible!
You have no choice but to accept it as written.

God and Jesus are one, because God lives in Jesus

The Bible verses that are most frequently used in support of the assertion that Jesus is God are those that demonstrate that God resides inside Jesus.God is spirit, and as such, He resides in the hearts of his offspring.Do you not understand that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me?The words that I speak unto you are not said on my behalf; rather, the Father who dwelleth in me is the one who does the deeds.

(See also John 14:10) The fact that God is present in Jesus does not imply that Jesus is God.
It implies that God and Jesus are one and the same.
And Jesus demonstrated to us that we, too, may become one with God!
But do we then take on the role of God?
Without a doubt, this is not the case!
It is for this reason that I pray: that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me and I in thee, that they may also be one in us; and that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

And I have given them the glory that thou hast given me, in order that they may be one, as we are one.(See also John 17:21-22.) Adam and Eve were also considered to be one.Is this, however, evidence that they are one and the same person?Certainly not.Despite the fact that they are one, they continue to be two people.What happens if two people marry each other and become one person?

Without a doubt, this is not the case.The fact is that they will remain linked in God’s eyes.

The resurrection of the dead comes by man

This Bible verse is so unambiguous that there isn’t much more that can be said to explain it.It asserts that, just as death was brought about by man (Adam and Eve), so too will the resurrection of the dead be brought about by man.That implies that Jesus had to be a human being in order for the resurrection of the dead to have occurred through him.Take a look at the following for yourself: For, just as death was brought about by man, so too was the resurrection of the dead brought about by man.

In the same way that everyone dies in Adam, everyone will be brought alive in Christ.
Then there are the firstfruits, which are Christ; after that there are those who are Christ’s at his coming.
Then comes the culmination, when he will have handed the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished every rule, authority, and power on the earth.
It is necessary for him to continue to reign until he has subdued all of his adversaries.

God puts everything under Jesus feet

What is the point of God putting everything beneath his own feet if everything is already his property?He has created everything, and as a result, He is the rightful owner of everything.In order for this verse to make sense, it must be assumed that Jesus is not God himself, but rather another person: For he hath laid all things beneath his feet.However, when he claims that all things have been placed beneath him, it is clear that he is the exception, as it was he who placed all things under him.

Jesus can’t do anything of his own

If he claims that he is unable to do miracles on his own, how did he manage to perform such incredible feats?Because God accomplished all of these things THROUGH him: ″I can do nothing of my own accord; as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just; for I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father who hath sent me.″ ″I can do nothing of my own accord; as I hear, I judge.″ (John 5:30 a.m.) Due to the fact that there is only one God, and there is only one mediator between God and humanity, the man Christ Jesus, who sacrificed himself as a ransom for everyone, and who will be testified to in due course (1 Thessalonians 2:5–6)

Jesus is not God, but Jesus has a God

Jesus has only one God

In his teachings, Jesus asserted that there is only one God. Why didn’t he just state that he is God, as if he were God himself? Wouldn’t that make things a whole lot simpler for everyone? And Jesus responded, ″The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.″ The second commandment is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. (Matthew 12:29)

Jesus is not God, because God is not a human

Because I am God, and not a human being; I am the Holy One who dwells in the midst of thee. In Hosea 11:9, the Bible says, God is not a man, and he is not the son of man either. (Numbers 23:19) (Numbers 23:19) Because he is not a guy. (15:29; 1 Samuel 15:29) Hear this, O Israel: There is only one Lord, the Lord our God. (4:4) (Deuteronomy 6:4)

Jesus died, but God can’t die

Jesus thanks God for hearing him

Did Jesus say He is God?

Jesus’ Claims to be God – Yes, Jesus Said He is God

He has the ability to forgive sins, which is something that only God Himself has the authority to accomplish.

Then, in order to prove His point, He healed the paralyzed as a demonstration of His power.2.There is a very strong hint of Jesus’ divinity in the miracles that He accomplished (because no mere human can work actual miracles by his own power).In John 10:24-39, Jesus alluded to miracles as evidence that he was revealing the truth about his claims.This text contains Christ’s own answer to the charge of blasphemy leveled against him by the unbelieving Jews (dishonoring God by claiming to be God).A magnificent promise is contained inside this passage, which states that once you have been saved, born again, or converted, you will never be able to lose your salvation again.

In verses 28-29, it is said that we shall ″never expire; no one will be able to take them from My grasp.″ The power of my Father, who has given them to me, is stronger than all others; no one can take them from my Father’s grasp.’I and the Father are one,’ I declare.″ (This is another more emphatic declaration that He is God.) As Christians, we enjoy the certainty of everlasting security because we did not earn salvation; it was given to us as a gift (Ephesians 2:8,9).3.During Christ’s trial, the chief priests confronted Him with the question, ″Tell us whether you are the Christ, the Son of God,″ and He responded affirmatively.

After which He stated, ″I am.″ (See Mark 14:60-62 for further information.) ″It is, in fact, as you say.″ (Matthew 26:63-65; Mark 10:6) ″You are absolutely correct in stating that I am.″ (Luke 22:67-70; Mark 10:67-70) Essentially, they are all various methods of stating the same idea, but they were written by different people.
According to John’s gospel, Jesus’ discussion with Pontius Pilate is recounted (John 18:33-37).
Pilate was curious as to whether or not He was the King of the Jews.
After then, Jesus spoke about how His kingdom was not of this world but rather of another.
In response, Pilate said, ″You are a king, then!″ ″You are correct in claiming that I am a king…″ Jesus said.

The fact is that he is the undisputed ruler of the entire universe.
Lastly, in John 10:11-18, Jesus declares that he is the Good Shepherd.
It becomes clear when you read this scripture in conjunction with Ezekiel 34:1-16 that Jesus was aligning Himself with God, who proclaimed Himself to be the Shepherd over Israel in that chapter.
The Jewish people, who lived in an agricultural and shepherding civilization, were familiar with and cherished this passage of the Old Testament because God was utilizing a metaphor that they could relate to on a daily basis.

There was no mistake that Jesus was claiming to be God when He stated, ″I am the Good Shepherd,″ and the entire John chapter so obviously paralleled the Ezekiel chapter.

John 4:25-26 (King James Version).
This is the point at which the Samaritan woman, whom Jesus had met at the well, engages Jesus in a debate about ″living water.″ He identifies her evil way of life (information that He would not have known as a simple human bystander), and then He confesses that He is the long-awaited Messiah: ″I who speak to you am He,″ he declares.

The book of John (5:1-18).
On the Sabbath, Jesus cures a crippled man, which the unbelieving Jews took exception to and earned Him a bad reputation.

″My Father is always at work, and I am also working,″ he responded.
A well-known Jewish school of thought held that, although though God rested on the seventh day following Creation week, He continued to ″work″ in His loving, compassionate and just ways as well as in maintaining the earth’s ability to produce food and keep the sun moving, among other things.
For better or worse, even if the producing had ceased, the upkeep continued—even on the Sabbath, and this was the only ″work″ that was permitted on that particular day.
As a result, by working on the Sabbath, Jesus is placing himself on an equal footing with his Father.
And by referring to God as ″My Father″ (rather than ″Our Father″), he was asserting a level of intimacy with God that far outstripped that of everyone else on earth.
So, in these two ways, he was elevating himself to the level of divinity.

7.The book of John (16:28).I entered the world as a messenger from God the Father; now I am departing the world as a messenger from God the Father.″ Essentially, Christ is stating that He lived with the Father prior to being born.

It was via enveloping Himself in human flesh and being born as a baby that He ″entered the earth.″ In the course of His life and ministry, He was crucified and resurrected from the dead (all as part of the ″mission″), and then he returned to the Father in heaven, where He is now sitting at God’s right hand (see Revelation 22:12).

He is the only human who has ever lived prior to the formation of the universe.
In other words, the fact that Christ existed in a ″pre-incarnate condition″ proves that He is God.

It is many people’s favorite argument for the divinity of Christ, including my own, and it is presented in this section.Begin by reading the book of Exodus 3, when Moses encounters God at a burning bush.God tells Moses that he is the one He has selected to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, and Moses accepts the responsibility.″Suppose I go to the Israelites and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’″ Moses ponders with God.

″Suppose I go to the Israelites and tell them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?″ ″Then what am I supposed to tell them?″ God responds to Moses by saying, ″I AM WHO I AM.″ What you are supposed to tell the Israelites is, ″’I AM has sent me to you.’″ I Am is God’s own name, and God has stated that His own name is ″I AM.″ Now…

Jesus is speaking to a group of Jews who do not believe in him.

″Your father Abraham was overjoyed at the prospect of witnessing My day; he witnessed it and delighted.″ ″You are not even 50 years old,″ they pointed out to Him, ″and you have seen Abraham?″ they inquired.
I AM, I tell you the truth,″ Jesus declared, referring to the time before Abraham was born.
Jesus was the great I AM from the beginning of time; He was long before Abraham ever lived on the earth.
He is claiming to be the I AM of the Old Testament in this passage.

The Jews gathered stones to stone Him, according to verse 59, but the Lord Jesus managed to get away.The reason they sought to stone Him was because stoning was considered the death sentence for blasphemy at the time of His execution.The man was proclaiming himself to be the prophet Yahweh—Jehovah—All-Powerful God—I AM.In any case, it was not blasphemy when Christ claimed to be who He really was!b) John 8:24 (KJV).

In my last message, I warned that you would die in your sins; if you do not accept that I AM, you will die in your sins actually.″If you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be…″, you may find the following in your Bible.The additional words have been added by the editors and are not included in the original text.If you’re familiar with the story of Exodus 3, you won’t need the extra words to understand what’s being said grammatically.The Lord Jesus is asserting his divinity once more.

c) John 18:4, which is the fourth chapter of the Gospel of John.In the Garden of Gethsemane, Judas, together with a group of priests and soldiers, is going to arrest and imprison Jesus.In light of all that was about to befall Him, Jesus walked out and questioned them, ‘Who is it that you want?’ They responded with the name ‘Jesus of Nazareth.’ Jesus declared, ‘I AM.’ The disciples backed away and fell to the ground as He exclaimed, ‘I AM.’″ Once again, it is possible that the editors of your Bible included ″I am″ to make the sentence grammatically correct.When it comes to Greek, it simply reads ″I AM.″ When Jesus claimed to be Yahweh (I AM), the intensity of his declaration was so overwhelming that it practically knocked the arresting officers and Jewish priests off their feet.

The points listed above are by no means complete, and they are provided to aid the reader in understanding that Jesus Christ is Lord because He is God, not because He is a human being.In a similar vein, My final thought on the matter is a remark from famed author C.S.Lewis from his masterpiece, Mere Christianity, which I believe is one of the most effective ever written on the subject: I’m attempting to prevent anyone from saying the very ridiculous thing that people frequently say about Jesus: ″I’m willing to accept Jesus as a wonderful moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God.″ That is the one thing we are not allowed to mention.

It would be difficult to consider Jesus a great moral teacher if he were simply a man who spoke the kinds of things Jesus said.
He would either be a lunatic, on a par with the man who claims to be a poached egg, or he would be the Devil of Hell, depending on your point of view.
You are required to make a decision.
Either this man was and continues to be the Son of God, or he is a lunatic or something far worse.
The only way to deal with Him is to treat Him as a fool, spit at Him, and kill Him as a demon, or fall at His feet, and acknowledge Him as your Lord and God.
