How Many Years Did Jesus Walk The Earth?

How Long Did Jesus Live on Earth? And What Did He Do?

The Bible, of course, is the primary source for information on Jesus Christ’s earthly existence. It can be difficult to piece together a timeline of Jesus’ life because of the narrative structure of the Bible and because there are many narratives of his life recorded in the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), as well as the Acts of the Apostles and some of the epistles. What were the most significant events in Jesus’ time on earth, and how long did He spend on the planet?

What Does the Baltimore Catechism Say?

Answer to Question 76 of the Baltimore Catechism, which is contained in Lessons Sixth and Seventh of the First Communion Edition and Lesson Sixth and Seventh of the Confirmation Edition, is framed in the following way: The question is, how long did Christ spend on the earth?Answer: Christ was on earth for around thirty-three years, during which time he lived a holy life in poverty and suffering.

The Key Events of Jesus’ Life on Earth

Many of the most important events in Jesus’ earthly life are honored on a yearly basis in the Church’s liturgical calendar. With respect to those events, the events are listed in the following list in the order in which we come to them in the calendar, rather than necessarily in the order in which they occurred in Christ’s life. The comments that appear next to each occurrence help to understand the sequence of events. While Jesus’ life on earth started not with His birth, it was with the Blessed Virgin Mary’s fiat—her answer to the Angel Gabriel’s proclamation that she had been selected to be the Mother of God—that His life on earth really began. The Holy Spirit was there at that moment, and Jesus was conceived in Mary’s womb.

John the Baptist’s Birth: While still in His mother’s womb, Jesus sanctifies John the Baptist before his birth, when Mary travels to visit her cousin Elizabeth (John’s mother) to care for her in the final days of her pregnancy. The Nativity is the celebration of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem on the day we know as Christmas. In accordance with the Mosaic Law, on the eighth day after His birth, Jesus submits to the demands of the Law and sheds His blood for our benefit. The Feast of the Epiphany occurs somewhere during Jesus’ first three years of life, when the Magi, or Wise Men, pay Him a visit and reveal Him to be the Messiah, or Savior.

  1. When Jesus is presented in the temple 40 days after His birth, as the firstborn Son of Mary, He is declared to be the Lord, in accordance with the Law of Moses, which is yet another surrender to God’s will.
  2. As a result of the Wise Men’s unintentional alerting of King Herod to the Messiah’s birth, the King order’s the slaughter of all male infants under the age of three, and Saint Joseph is tasked with transporting Mary and Jesus to Egypt for their own protection.
  3. It is during the years following Herod’s death, when the threat to Jesus has gone, that the Holy Family returns from Egypt to reside in Nazareth for a period of time.
  4. While living with Joseph (until his death) and Mary in Nazareth from the age of three to the age of thirty (the beginning of His public ministry), Jesus leads an ordinary life of piety, obedience to Mary, and physical labor, working as a carpenter by Joseph’s side during this time.

With one notable exception, these years are referred to as ″hidden″ years since the Gospels provide little details of His life during this time period (see next item). The Discovery at the Temple: When Jesus is 12 years old, he travels to Jerusalem with Mary and Joseph, as well as many of their relatives, to celebrate the Jewish feast days. However, on the return trip, Mary and Joseph discover that Jesus is not with the family. As they make their way back to Jerusalem, they come across Him in the temple, where he is instructing men who are much older than He about the meaning of Scripture.

  • The Baptism of the Lord: Jesus’ public ministry begins at the age of 30, when He is baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist.
  • In the guise of a dove, the Holy Spirit descends onto the scene, and a voice from Heaven proclaims, ″This is my beloved Son.″ As part of His preparation for the cross, Jesus spends 40 days and nights in the desert, fasting and praying while also being tested by Satan.
  • As He emerges from the tribulation, He is revealed as the new Adam, who has remained faithful to God in the place where Adam failed.

The Wedding at Cana: At His mother’s request, Jesus performs the first of his public miracles, turning water into wine at the wedding. In the Gospel, Jesus proclaims the kingdom of God and calls his followers to follow him. This marks the beginning of Jesus’ public career, which lasts until his death. The majority of the Gospels are devoted to this period of Christ’s life. The Miracles are as follows: Besides teaching the Gospel, Jesus accomplishes a number of miraculous feats, including healings, the multiplication of loaves and fishes, the casting out of demons, and the resurrection of Lazarus from the grave. These manifestations of Christ’s authority serve to reaffirm His teachings as well as His claim to be God’s Son.

The Influence of the Keys: Because of Peter’s profession of faith in Christ’s divinity, Jesus elevates him to the position of first among the disciples and bestows upon him ″the power of the keys″—the authority to bind and loose, to absolve sins, and to govern the Church, which is the physical manifestation of Christ on earth.A preview of the Resurrection, Jesus is transfigured in the presence of Peter, James, and John in a foretaste of the Resurrection and is seen in the presence of Moses and Elijah, who symbolize the Law and the Prophets, respectively.Just like during Jesus’ baptism, a voice from Heaven can be heard saying, ″This is my Son, my Chosen; pay attention!″ The Road to Jerusalem: As Jesus travels the road to Jerusalem, where he will be crucified and buried, the prophetic nature of His mission to the People of Israel becomes obvious.

  • The Approach to the City of Jerusalem: When Jesus rides into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, the multitude greet Him with acclamations, announcing that He is really the Son of David and the Messiah.
  • The Passion and Death: The masses’ delight at Jesus’ presence is short-lived, however, as they turn against Him during the celebration of the Passover and demand that He be crucified.
  • On Holy Thursday, Jesus gathers with His apostles to commemorate the Last Supper, and on Good Friday, He dies in our place as our substitute.
  • He spends the entire day of Holy Saturday in the tomb.
  • During the celebration of Easter Sunday, Jesus returns from the grave, defeating death and undoing the effects of Adam’s transgression.
  1. The Post-Resurrection Appearances of Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus comes to His disciples and the Blessed Virgin Mary throughout the course of 40 days following His Resurrection, clarifying those elements of the Gospel concerning His sacrifice that they had previously been unable to comprehend.
  2. The Ascension: On the 40th day after His Resurrection, Jesus ascends to the right hand of God the Father, where He will assume His position as the Son of Man.

Jesus Christ—Evidence That He Walked the Earth — Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY

Evidence that Jesus Christ walked the earth is provided by the Bible.GIVEN the evidence, do you believe in the existence of a guy by the name of Albert Einstein? You may quickly respond in the affirmative, but why?The majority of individuals have never met him in person.Although he may not have existed, verifiable stories of his exploits demonstrate that he did.

His presence is recognized through the scientific applications of his findings, which demonstrate his impact.A good example is electricity created by nuclear energy, the release of which is directly tied to the application of Einstein’s famous equation, E=mc2, which stands for Einstein’s theory of relativity (energy equals mass times the speed of light squared). The same logic may be used to Jesus Christ, who is unquestionably the most important person in history. What has been written about him, as well as the tangible proof of the power he possessed, establishes without any reasonable question that he existed.

  1. As intriguing as the new archaeological discovery of the James inscription, mentioned in the preceding article, it is important to remember that the historicity of Jesus is not dependent on this or any other archaeological discoveries.
  2. The reality is that secular historians have written about Jesus and his disciples, and we may discover evidence of his presence in their writings.
  3. Historians’ Accounts of Events Consider, for example, the testimony of Flavius Josephus, a first-century Jewish historian who was also a member of the Pharisee sect.
  4. In the book Jewish Antiquities, he made a reference to Jesus Christ.

Although some have questioned the authenticity of the first reference, in which Josephus refers to Jesus as the Messiah, Professor Louis H.Feldman of Yeshiva University claims that only a small number of people have questioned the authenticity of the second reference, in which Josephus refers to Jesus as the Messiah. Here is what Josephus wrote: ″convened the Sanhedrin and brought before them a man named James, the brother of Jesus, who was known as the Christ.″ (Jewish Antiquities, Volume XX, Number 200) It is true that a Pharisee, a member of the sect whose followers were open opponents of Jesus, accepted the reality of ″James, the brother of Jesus,″ according to the New Testament. The existence of Jesus had an impact on the actions of his disciples, which was felt throughout history.

  • When the apostle Paul was imprisoned in Rome about the year 59 C.E., the chief leaders of the Jews informed him that ″this sect is known to us that it is preached against everywhere.″ (See Acts 28:17-22 for further information.) They referred to Jesus’ followers as ″this cult.″ Was it not more probable that secular historians would write about them if they were universally decried by the general public?
  • Tacitus, who was born about 55 C.E.
  • and is widely regarded as one of the world’s finest historians, wrote about the Christians in his Annals of the Roman Empire.

″Nero fixed the guilt and inflicted the most excruciating tortures on a class of people loathed for their abominations, termed Christians by the multitude,″ he said in his description of Nero’s blaming them for the great fire of Rome in 64 C.E.As a result of Pontius Pilatus’ actions as one of our procurators, Christus underwent the most severe punishment during the reign of Tiberius,″ says the narrator. The specifics of this tale correspond to the knowledge available about the Jesus of the Bible.Pliny the Younger, the governor of Bithynia, was yet another writer who made observations about Jesus’ disciples.Pliny wrote to Emperor Trajan about the year 111 C.E., asking for advice on how to deal with Christians. The Roman historian Pliny described people wrongly suspected of being Christians as repeating an invocation to the gods and prostrating themselves before the statue of Trajan to demonstrate that they were not Christians.

Pliny went on to say, ″It is asserted that individuals who are truly Christians are not compelled to comply with any of these requirements.″ That attests to the truth of the Christ’s existence, as evidenced by the fact that his disciples were willing to lose their lives in the name of their faith in him.According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica (2002 edition), after summarizing the references to Jesus Christ and his followers made by historians during the first two centuries, ″These independent accounts demonstrate that even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, which was disputed for the first time and on inadequate grounds at the end of the 18th, during the 19th, and at the beginning of the 20th centuries.″ Followers of Jesus give their testimonies According to The Encyclopedia Americana, ″the New Testament provides practically all of the evidence for a historical reconstruction of Jesus’ life and death, as well as for the first Christian interpretations of his importance.″ Skeptics may not accept the Bible as proof of Jesus’ existence, but they may accept other forms of evidence. However, two lines of argument based on Scriptural evidence stand out as particularly helpful in establishing that Jesus truly walked the planet. As previously said, Einstein’s outstanding theories serve as proof of his presence.

  • In a similar vein, Jesus’ teachings demonstrate that he really did exist.
  • Take, for example, Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, which is a well-known speech that he delivered.
  • (See Matthew chapters 5-7 for more information.) This is what the apostle Matthew had to say about the effect of his sermon: ″The multitudes were shocked at his style of educating them; because he was instructing them as if he was in authority.″ (Matthew 7:28; Matthew 7:29) With regard to the influence of the speech on people throughout history, Professor Hans Dieter Betz stated, ″The influences exercised by the Sermon on the Mount typically far exceed the boundaries between Judaism and Christianity, or even Western civilization.″ Additionally, he stated, ″This speech has a distinctively universalistic appeal.″ Consider the following succinct and practical words of wisdom from the Sermon on the Mount, which may be found in the Bible: ″If someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn your other cheek to face him as well.″ Keep in mind that you should avoid practicing your righteousness in front of other people.
  • It’s important not to be concerned about the following day since the next day will bring its own concerns.
  • ″Do not, under any circumstances, put your pearls before swine.″ ″Remain persistent in your requests, and it will be granted to you.″ ″Whatever it is that you want men to do to you, you must also do to them,″ says Confucius.
  1. ″Enter via the tiny gate,″ says the guide.
  2. ″You will be able to identify them by their fruits.″ ″Every excellent tree bears wonderful fruit.″ says the sage.
  3. —Matthew 5:39; 6:1; 34; 7:6, 7, 12, 13, 16, 17.

—Matthew 5:39; 6:1; 34; 7:6, 7, 12, 13, 16, 17.There’s a good chance you’ve heard some of these idioms or at least the essence of them.Perhaps they have been turned into proverbs in your own tongue. All of these quotations are from the Sermon on the Mount. The widespread impact that this speech has had on many different peoples and civilizations serves as a powerful testament to the existence of ″the great teacher.″ Consider the possibility that someone created a false persona known as Jesus Christ.

Consider the possibility that this individual was intelligent enough to come up with the teachings attributed to Jesus in the Bible.Wouldn’t he devise a way to make Jesus and his teachings as acceptable as possible to the masses of the population at large? The apostle Paul, on the other hand, remarked that ″both the Jews and the Greeks seek signs, and we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a cause for stumbling, but to the Gentiles folly.″ (See 1 Corinthians 1:22 and 23.) In the end, neither the Jews nor the rest of the world found the message of Christ impaled to be compelling. That, on the other hand, was the Christ who was preached by first-century Christians. What is the significance of the Christ being impaled?

  1. There is only one plausible explanation: that the writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures accurately reported the events surrounding Jesus’ life and death.
  2. Another line of argument that supports the historicity of Jesus’ teachings is found in the unceasing proclamation of his teachings by his disciples.
  3. The apostle Paul could only claim that the good news ″was preached throughout all creation that is under heaven″ a little more than 30 years after Jesus began his mission.
  4. (See Colossians 1:23 for further information.) Yes, despite the hostility, Jesus’ teachings spread across the ancient world as well.
  5. ″If Christ has not been risen from the dead, our teaching has undoubtedly been in vain, and our faith has been in vain,″ wrote Paul, who himself had been persecuted as a Christian.
  6. (See 1 Corinthians 15:12-17 for further information).
  1. Praying for Christ who has not been raised from the dead would be pointless, but preaching for a Christ who has never existed would be much more pointless than that.
  2. In accordance with the narrative of Pliny the Younger, first-century Christians were prepared to die in order to maintain their faith in the person of Jesus Christ.
  3. They sacrificed their lives for Christ because he was genuine; as the Gospel stories indicate, he had walked this world and lived a life of significance.
  4. You’ve Observed the Evidence Belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ was a precondition for Christian preaching to be effective.

By imagining the resurrected Jesus and the influence he is having on the world today, you may see him in your mind’s eye as well.In the moments before he was beheaded, Jesus made a prophesy concerning his future presence on the earth. The Lord Jesus also stated that he would be raised from the dead and would sit at God’s right side, waiting for the appropriate moment to deal with his adversaries.(See Psalm 110:1, John 6:62, Acts 2:34, 35, and Romans 8:34 for examples.) Afterwards, he would take action to expel Satan and his demons from the skies, which he did.—Revelation 12:7, Revelation 13:1.

When was all of this going to take place? As a’symbol of his presence and the completion of the system of things,’ Jesus offered his disciples the sign of the cross.Great wars, food shortages, earthquakes, the rise of false prophets, an increase in lawlessness, and severe pestilences were some of the signs used to identify his unseen presence.

Such disastrous occurrences were to be expected, for the dethronement of Satan the Devil would spell ″woe for the earth,″ as the Bible says. The Devil has descended to the area of the earth, ″filled with rage and cognizant of the fact that he has only a short length of time.″ Additionally, the sign involves the spreading of the good news of the Kingdom ″in all of the inhabited earth as a testimony to all of the nations,″ according to the Bible.—Matthew 24:3-14; Revelation 12:12; Luke 21:7-19; and other passages. The events that Jesus predicted have transpired, much like the parts of a jigsaw puzzle that fit together.Since the commencement of World War I in 1914, we have witnessed a slew of signs and wonders that point to the invisible presence of Jesus Christ in the world.

He is governing as the King of God’s Kingdom and wielding enormous power in the process of doing so.The fact that you are holding this magazine in your hand is proof that the Kingdom preaching effort is still being carried out today. It is necessary to read the Bible in order to have a better understanding of the significance of Jesus’ existence.Perhaps you might consult with Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding the specifics of Jesus’ presence? The writers Josephus, Tacitus, and Pliny the Younger all made references to Jesus Christ and his adherents.

We are in the End of 6000 years Since Creation

Evidence That Jesus Christ walked the earth is provided by the Bible.Believe in the reality of a guy named Albert Einstein, or do you believe he did not exist?Even if you quickly respond in the affirmative, consider why.The vast majority of individuals have never met him in person.Although he may not have existed, reputable tales of his accomplishments provide evidence that he did.

His presence is felt through the scientific applications of his findings, which demonstrate his impact on the world around him.A good example is electricity created by nuclear energy, the release of which is directly tied to the application of Einstein’s famous equation, E=mc2, which stands for energy equal to mass times squared (energy equals mass times the speed of light squared).Jesus Christ, who is unquestionably the most significant person in history, may be justified in the same way. There is no question that he existed, based on what has been written about him and the apparent proof of the power he possessed.

  1. The new archaeological discovery of the James inscription, which was discussed in the prior article, is intriguing, but the historicity of Jesus is not dependent on this or any other piece of evidence.
  2. The truth is that secular historians have written about Jesus and his disciples, and we may discover evidence of his reality in their writings.
  3. Experts’ Testimony on the Past As an example, take Flavius Josephus, a first-century Jewish historian who was also a Pharisee, who testified to Jesus.
  4. In his book Jewish Antiquities, he made reference to Jesus Christ.

Although some have questioned the authenticity of the first reference, in which Josephus refers to Jesus as the Messiah, Professor Louis H.Feldman of Yeshiva University claims that only a small number of people have questioned the authenticity of the second reference, which refers to Jesus as the Son of David. In this passage, Josephus writes, ″convened the judges of the Sanhedrin and brought before them a man named James, the brother of Jesus, who was termed the Messiah.″ J.A.200 (Jewish Antiquities), page xxxiii It is true that a Pharisee, a member of the sect whose followers were open adversaries of Jesus, acknowledged the reality of ″James, the brother of Jesus,″ according to the Gospel of John.

  • Throughout history, the presence of Jesus and his disciples has had an impact on society.
  • During the time that the apostle Paul was imprisoned in Rome, about 59 C.E., the chief leaders of the Jews informed him that ″as regards this group, we are aware that it is condemned everywhere.″ The book of Acts (28:17-22) explains that In their words, ″this sect″ referred to Jesus’ followers.
  • It’s conceivable that secular historians would write about them if they were universally vilified, don’t you think?

Christians were referenced in the Annals of Tacitus, who was born about 55 C.E.and is regarded one of the world’s best historians.″Nero fixed the guilt and inflicted the most excruciating tortures on a class of people despised for their abominations, dubbed Christians by the crowd,″ he said in his description of Nero’s blaming them for the great fire of Rome in 64 C.E.Christus, from whom the name was derived, was sentenced to death by one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, during the reign of Tiberius.According to this story, the details of Jesus’ life are consistent with what is written in the Bible.Pliny the Younger, the governor of Bithynia, was another author who made observations about Jesus’ disciples.

Pliny wrote to Emperor Trajan in the year 111 C.E., enquiring about how to deal with Christians in the Roman world. The Roman historian Pliny described people wrongly suspected of being Christians as repeating an invocation to the gods and prostrating themselves before the statue of Trajan to demonstrate that they were not Christian.According to Pliny, ″Those who are truly Christians are not compelled to comply with any of these requirements,″ he stated. Those who followed Christ were willing to give their lives in the name of their faith, which is evidence of the validity of his existence.

  • According to the Encyclopaedia Britannica (2002 edition), after summarizing the references to Jesus Christ and his followers made by historians of the first two centuries, ″These independent accounts demonstrate that even the opponents of Christianity never doubted the historicity of Jesus, which was disputed for the first time and on inadequate grounds at the end of the 18th, during the 19th, and at the beginning of the 20th centuries.″ Evidence from the Witnesses of Jesus According to the Encyclopedia Americana, ″the New Testament provides practically all of the evidence for a historical reconstruction of Jesus’ life and death, as well as for the first Christian interpretations of his importance.″ Skeptics may not believe the Bible as proof of Jesus’ existence, but they may accept other evidence.
  • But two lines of argument based on biblical evidence stand out as particularly helpful in establishing that Jesus did indeed walk the world.
  • As previously said, Einstein’s outstanding theories serve as proof of his presence and significance.
  • A similar argument may be made for the truth of Jesus’ teachings.
  • Consider the Sermon on the Mount, which is a well-known sermon delivered by Jesus.
  1. (5th chapter of Matthew) ″The multitudes were shocked at his method of teaching; because he was educating them as if he were a person in authority,″ the apostle Matthew recalled of the sermon’s impact: (Matthew 7:28; Matthew 7:28–29.) With regard to the influence of the sermon on people throughout history, Professor Hans Dieter Betz stated, ″The influences exercised by the Sermon on the Mount typically far exceed the boundaries between Judaism and Christianity, or even between Western civilization.″ ″This message has a very universalistic appeal,″ he said.
  2. The Sermon on the Mount contains the following succinct and applicable words of wisdom, which are as follows: ″Whoever hits you on your right cheek, turn your other cheek to face him as well,″ says the author.
  3. Keep in mind that you should avoid practicing your virtue in public.

It’s important not to be concerned about the following day since the next day will bring its own concerns.Don’t ″pitch your pearls before swine,″ as the proverb says.″Remain persistent in your requests, and it will be granted.″ ″Whatever it is that you want men to do to you, you must also do to them,″ says the Buddha.Enter via the tiny gate,″ says the guidebook.″You will know them by their fruits,″ said the sages.

″Every excellent tree bears wonderful fruit.″ says the proverb.Jesus said in Matthew 5:39, 6, 1, 34, 7:6, 7, 12, 13, 16, and 17.—Matthew 5:39, 6, 1, and 34; 7:6, 7, 12, 13, 16; 7:6, 7, 12, 13, 16, and 17.Some of these terms, or at least the spirit of them, are almost certainly familiar to you.Perhaps they have been turned into proverbs in your own dialect.

  1. Unless otherwise noted, all of these quotations are from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.
  2. In a convincing demonstration of the existence of ″the great teacher,″ the impact of this speech on numerous peoples and civilizations throughout the world.
  3. Consider the possibility that a person known as Jesus Christ was created by an unknown individual.
  4. Take, for example, the individual who came up with the teachings attributed to Jesus in the Bible and was exceptionally creative.
  5. Do you think he wouldn’t come up with a way to make Jesus and his teachings more palatable to folks in the general public?
  6. The apostle Paul, on the other hand, remarked that ″both the Jews and the Greeks seek signs and wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a source of stumbling, but to the Gentiles folly.″ 1:22 and 23 in 1 Corinthians) In the end, neither the Jews nor the rest of the world found the message of Christ impaled to be appealing.
  1. That, on the other hand, was the Christ who was preached by first-century believers.
  2. What is the significance of the Christ being impaled on a stake in this representation?
  3. There is only one plausible explanation: that the writers of the Christian Greek Scriptures accurately reported the events of Jesus’ life and death.
  4. Jesus’ disciples’ unceasing preaching of his teachings provides another another line of evidence confirming his historical validity.

Paul could state that the good news ″was broadcast in all creation that is under heaven″ just around 30 years after Jesus began his public ministry.(See Colossians 1:23 for further information).Yes, despite the hostility, Jesus’ teachings spread across the ancient world.″If Christ has not been resurrected from the dead, our teaching has been in vain, and our faith has been in vain,″ wrote Paul, who was himself persecuted as a Christian.Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15:12-17 that Praying for Christ who has not been raised from the dead would be pointless, but preaching for a Christ who has never existed would be much more pointless than before.

As we can see from Pliny the Younger’s narrative, first-century Christians were prepared to die for their faith in the person of Christ. They sacrificed their lives for Christ because he was genuine; as recorded in the Gospels, he walked this planet and lived a life. The Evidence Is In Your Hands Christian preaching was only possible if the listener believed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

By imagining the risen Jesus and the influence he is having on the world today, you too may visualize the resurrected Jesus. In the moments before he was beheaded, Jesus made a prophesy concerning his future appearance on the cross. The Lord Jesus also stated that he would be raised from the dead and that he would sit at God’s right side, waiting for the appropriate moment to deal with his adversaries.(Psalm 110:1, John 6:62, Acts 2:34, 35, and Romans 8:34 are examples of passages that support this position.) As a result of his actions, Jesus was able to expel Satan and his demons from the sky.The book of Revelation, chapters 12 and 7, says that I’m not sure when all of this would occur.

As a’symbol of his presence and the completion of the system of things,’ Jesus offered his disciples the sign of the lamb.Great wars, food shortages, earthquakes, the advent of false prophets, an increase in lawlessness, and severe pestilences were some of the signs that pointed to the presence of an unseen presence.Such disastrous events were to be expected, for the dethronement of Satan the Devil would spell ″woe for the earth,″ as the phrase goes.Because he knows he has a limited amount of time, the Devil has descended to the area of the earth ″with tremendous rage.″ Aside from that, preaching of the good news of the Kingdom ″through all the inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations″ is included in the sign’s meaning.—Matthew 24:3-14; Revelation 12:12; Luke 21:7-19; and other passages The events that Jesus predicted have transpired in the same way as parts of a jigsaw puzzle come together.

As a collective group, we have witnessed the proof of the invisible presence of Jesus Christ since the commencement of World War I in 1914.He is reigning as the King of God’s Kingdom and wielding enormous power in the process of that reigning. We know from the fact that you are holding this magazine that the Kingdom preaching activity is still going on right now.It is necessary to read the Bible in order to have a better understanding of the significance of Jesus’ presence.Perhaps you might consult with Jehovah’s Witnesses on the specifics of Jesus’ appearance? It was Jesus Christ and his disciples that were mentioned by Josephus, Tacitus, and Pliny the Younger in their writings.

We are in the End of 6000 years since creation

The time span between Adam and Abraham is considered to be 2000 years. It is anticipated that it will take another 2000 years to go from Abraham to Jesus. It will take another 2000 years from the time of Jesus till His return. As a result, the time span between Adam’s creation and Jesus’ final return to the planet is 6000 years.Christ will return after 6000 years and govern for 1000 years, ending the millennium (the Millennium Reign).

Because of God’s design, the world and heaven both reach the end of their allotted 7000 years, and immediately after this first earth and heaven pass away, a new earth and heaven are formed with Jesus Christ reigning eternally on the earth and in the heavens.Rev 21:1 (NIV): After that, I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the previous heaven and the first earth had been destroyed, and there was no longer any sea.

When is the end of 6000 years since creation?

The temporal span between Abraham and Jesus is considered to be 2000 years. But what time period should we choose for Jesus?Do you want to know the date of His birth or the date of His death? The crucifixion of Jesus is the central theme of the whole Bible message.See what the gospel is all about.

The crucifixion was the place where mankind was saved, the evil kingdom was conquered, and the church was birthed, all at the same time.Take a look at what the church is.We measure time in relation to or from Jesus’ death on the cross, rather than in relation to His birth.Because His death on the cross holds greater weight for the gospel than His birth, Passover must be observed with greater significance than Christmas Day in order to be really meaningful.

  1. Find out the truth behind Christmas Day in this video.
  2. The reason why Jews do not celebrate Christmas on December 25th but do so with great fervor on Passover (importance).
  3. The month of Passover has been used to calculate time (dates) from the days of Moses and the Israelites, and this has continued to the present day.
  4. Ex 12:2 (King James Version): This month will mark the beginning of the month for you, and it will also mark the beginning of the calendar year for you.

Passover is the time of year when a lamb with no defect was slain and the blood of the lamb was applied on the doorposts and lintel of the house. In Exodus 12:5, your lamb must be without blemish, a male of the first year; ye must take it from among the flocks of sheep or from the herds of goats. After that, they would take the blood and hit it on the two side posts and the upper door post of the dwellings. It was at this period that Israel was freed from Egyptian servitude.

  • Ex 12:26 and 27: And it will come to be that your children will ask you, ″What do you mean by this service?″ and you will respond, In order for you to declare, ″It is the LORD’s Passover, who passed over the homes of Israel when he destroyed the Egyptians and delivered our dwellings,″ you must first identify the sacrifice as the LORD’s Passover sacrifice.
  • A symbolic representation of the lamb who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29) and of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross, which freed humanity from its servitude.
  • When the Messiah is cut off from the world, time appears to come to a halt in Daniel’s 70-week prophesy.

Furthermore, the 70-week period between Israel and Jerusalem begins before the final seven weeks of the great tribulation. The time span between the two periods is known as the church-age.See Daniel’s prophesy of 70 weeks for further information on the church age. After Jesus’ death on the cross, a chasm is created. That the old has come to an end and a new has begun.Jesus’ death on the cross marks the beginning and the end of time.

As a result, while counting the remaining 2000 years, we begin from the moment Jesus (God) was crucified. As a result, it is projected that it will take 2000 years from the moment Jesus was crucified until He returns. The Bible is quiet regarding the day Jesus was crucified, although it does provide some hints as to what happened that day.The Bible experts all believe that Jesus died on the cross between the years 28 and 33 AD, according to the New Testament.

  • We can get to the year 2028 if we take the year 28 AD as the year in which Jesus died on the cross and add the remaining 2000 years to that date (the year for the end of 6000 years since creation).
  • In conclusion, I would want to say Jesus died on the crucifixion in the year 28 AD.
  • Years elapsed between Jesus’ death on the cross and the conclusion of the 6000-year period since creation: 2000 years have passed since the beginning of time.
  • The year in which 6000 years since the beginning of time come to a close (28 AD plus 2000 years) is the year 2028.
  • This corresponds exactly with the year 2028, which is the year in which the fig tree generation will come to an end.
  1. Observe the fig tree generation; this is the generation that will not pass away.
  2. Take the year 33 AD as the year Jesus died on the cross and add the remaining 2000 years, we arrive at the year 2033, according to the Gregorian calendar.
  3. In conclusion, I would want to say The year when Jesus died on the cross was 33 AD.

Years elapsed between Jesus’ death on the cross and the conclusion of the 6000-year period since creation: 2000 years have passed since the beginning of time. The year 2033 will mark the conclusion of 6000 years since the beginning of time (33 AD plus 2000 years). As a result, the conclusion of the 6000-year period from the beginning of time will occur between the years 2028 and 2033, and Jesus Christ will return for the Battle of Armageddon and to establish His 1000-year rule.Because the conclusion of the 6000-year period since the beginning of time is between the years 2028 and 2033, the rapture and the beginning of the great tribulation are likely to occur between the years 2021 and 2026.The five-year gap between 2028 and 2033 is represented by the year 2028.

The reason I said that there may be a +5-year error margin in the projected years of fig tree production is because of the way the fig tree generation is computed.Whatever day you choose to commemorate as Jesus’ death on the cross, May 14th, 1948, is the established date for Israel’s establishment as a sovereign nation, the date on which the fig tree first sprouted.

How many years are remaining to the end of 6000 years since creation?

According to our estimations, the 6000 years since creation will come to an end between the years 2028 and 2033.There are 14 years left until the year 2028 (i.e., from 2028 to 2014).The number of years left till the year 2033 (2033 – 2014) is 19 years. As a result, starting today In 2014, it is estimated that 14 to 19 years remain till the conclusion of the 6000-year period since the beginning of time. And it is estimated that between 7 and 12 years will go between the rapture and the commencement of the great tribulation.

All of the calculated years in this study, as well as the production of fig trees, are best guesses.Even if they are mistakes, the years provide us with the opportunity to see them through to completion. That you are witnessing four blood moons in the year 2014-2015, which are before the rapture, signs and wonders before the coming of Jesus Christ, and everything promised in the Bible that is being fulfilled so quickly leading up to the return of Jesus Christ is not a coincidence. It has been shown to me that Antichrist is alive and well at this very moment, rising to take his promised place and lead the world to the great tribulation and Armageddon conflict, as foretold.

  1. See, the Antichrist’s dominion has been shown to me.
  2. Indeed, we have reached the conclusion of the 6000-year period since the beginning of time.
  3. Jesus is coming.
  4. Daniel’s sage advice The same way that Daniel understood the number of years defined by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet that He would complete seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem (Dan 9:2), I comprehend the number of years stated by the same writings for all to be accomplished (Matt 24:36).

The return of the Son of Man is not something I am attempting to predict in any way, shape, or form, but I am revealing the season in which He will come, and all prophecies will be fulfilled during this season.Because we, the children of light, are aware of the season in which Jesus Christ will come. But no one, not even the angels of heaven, is aware of that day and hour, save for my Father alone (Mt 24: 36) We now know that there are 14 to 19 years left till the conclusion of the 6000-year period since the beginning of time.We do not, however, know the day or the hour of Jesus Christ’s second coming.

  • Wake up and keep an eye out for Jesus Christ, who should not return as a thief to you.
  • Rev 3:3 (NIV): Take note of how you have received and heard, then hold firm to your convictions and repent.
  • If you do not keep an eye on things, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will have no way of knowing what time I will arrive on the scene.

Pay attention to Christians.Jesus Christ is not coming as a thief, but rather as a king.In the same way that Jesus informed me, ″I AM COMING,″ I tell you that Jesus is coming! It is time to repent since the Kingdom of Heaven is at nigh.

What years did Jesus walk the earth?

No one knows for certain; he is said to have been born in 1 BC, but if he was a contemporary of Herod the Great, he would have been born in (or before) 4 BC, which was the year of Herod’s death. The Roman census, which was mentioned in one of the gospels, took place some years after Herod’s death, according to the text.Given that the census took place after Herod’s death and the fact that it is highly implausible that individuals would be forced to go to the town of a distant ancestor, many academics believe that the census should not be used to date Jesus. The year of Jesus’ death is even more ambiguous; it is the primary reason that Easter is a moveable feast; but, historically, he is supposed to have died at the age of 33, which would place his death somewhere around the year 33AD.In addition, there is some circumstantial evidence that Jesus spent part of his childhood in Kashmir, which adds another twist to this story.

If this is the case, he would have returned to Kashmir and died there about the year 100 AD..Additional Comments: According to an increasing number of biblical students and researchers, Jesus was born at the end of the 5th century BC and the beginning of the 4th century BC, according to the Jewish calendar.Despite widespread agreement that Jesus died between 29 and 36 AD, with Sir Isaac Newton selecting 34 AD as the date of his death, there is rising support for the date of his death in 33 AD.However, there are many who calculate the four Passovers in conjunction with the biblical account and conclude that the Crucifixion took place in the year 31 AD is the only feasible year for the event.

  1. These would also point out that Jesus would have been 36 and 1/2 years old at the time of His return, which would place His return after the 3 and 1/2 year tribulation and Day of the Lord, and associate Him with the number 40, which some believe is a biblical number of completeness.

How long did jesus walk the earth

How many years was Jesus on the earth?

Answer: Christ was on earth for around thirty-three years, during which time he lived a holy life in poverty and suffering.

What did Jesus do before he was 30?

According to Christian legend, Jesus just resided in Galilee throughout that time period. Christians have traditionally interpreted the remark in Mark 6:3 referring to Jesus as ″Is not this the carpenter?″ as an evidence that Jesus had worked as a carpenter before the age of 30.

Where did Jesus go for 30 years?

Accord to this literature, which Notovitch had translated into French, Jesus had spent his ″missing years″ – the years between his infancy and the beginning of his ministry – studying Buddhism in India, according to the Gospel of Matthew. He’d returned to the Middle East, where he’d lived a life that was recognizable to us from the New Testament, when he was around 30 years old.

Why did Jesus walk 40 days?

Immediately following his baptism by John the Baptist, Jesus was subjected to 40 days and nights of temptation by the devil in the Judaean Desert. After Jesus rejected each temptation, Satan withdrew from the scene, and Jesus went to Galilee to begin his public ministry. Jesus fasted throughout the whole of this period of spiritual conflict.

How old was Jesus now?

Based on these approaches, the majority of experts believe that Jesus was born between 6 and 4 BC, and that his teaching began about AD 27–29 and lasted between one and three years. They estimate that Jesus’ death took place between AD 30 and AD 36, depending on the source.

How old is God now?

I’d even go so far as to suggest that there was no God until the end of the Neolithic era, which indicates that God is around 7,000 years old.

What was Jesus’s full name?

During millennia, Yeshua, Jesus’ true name, which is an instance of transliteration, has developed. ″Isous″ is the Greek transcription of Jesus’ original name, whereas ″Yeshua″ is the late Biblical Hebrew form of Jesus’ name.

What did Jesus do at the age of 12?

As a child of twelve years old, Jesus travels to Jerusalem with his mother and father, as well as a large number of their relatives and friends, on a trip ″according to the custom″ – that is, for Passover. Despite the fact that Jesus ″lingered″ at the Temple on the day of their return, Mary and Joseph mistook him for one of their party.

How long was the Bible written after Jesus died?

This is a brief introduction to the Gospels. The four gospels of the New Testament, though they narrate the same tale, represent widely diverse thoughts and concerns, despite the fact that they were written over the span of almost a century following Jesus’ death. The death of Jesus and the composition of the first gospel are separated by a forty-year interval.

Does Jesus eat meat?

If it is considered that Jesus did really consume various kinds of meat, then the same rationale might be applied to support the consumption of any meats that he ate throughout his lifetime (the Bible does not explicitly say Jesus ate any meat other than fish, and some writers have made much of the fact that no lamb is mentioned at the Last Supper.)

Did Jesus have a wife?

Mary Magdalene in the role of dependable disciple The Bible, on the other hand, provided no indication that Mary Magdalene was Jesus’ wife. One can’t get a sense of that type of connection from any of the four canonical gospels, despite the fact that they include the women who travel with Jesus and, in some cases, their husbands’ names as well.

Who is Jesus’s father?

Life of Jesus in a nutshell He was born to Joseph and Mary somewhere between 6 bce and just before the death of Herod the Great (Matthew 2; Luke 1:5) in 4 bce, according to the earliest available evidence. Did Jesus eat during the 40 days?

Today, Lent is associated with Jesus’ 40-day fast (Mark 1:13; Matthew 4:1–11; Luke 4:1–13), which was instituted by the apostles. Although Mark informs us that Jesus was tempted by Satan, it is in Matthew and Luke that the specifics of the temptation are laid out in greater detail. In all three of the narratives, Jesus is said to have gone without food for 40 days.

What did Jesus do during Lent?

Tradition has it that Lent will run for 40 days, in honor of the 40 days that Jesus spent fasting in the desert, according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, before commencing his public ministry, during which he was subjected to Satan’s temptation.

What did Jesus do after 40 days in the desert?

Matthew 4:11 – 11 – At that point, Jesus was brought into the desert by the Holy Spirit, where he was tempted by the devil. He had fasted for forty days and forty nights and had become hungry as a result. ″If you are the Son of God, order that these stones be transformed into loaves of bread,″ the tempter said as he approached him and added.

In 33 A.D. at the age of 33 Jesus was crucified, died, entombed and rose again on the 3rd day. Amazingly His dried blood had been found by amateur archaeologist Ron Wyatt in 1982 A.D.

*Below is a research that was conducted in the 1990s.Jesus was born in the year 2 B.C.and died on the cross in the year 33 A.D.(Scroll down to the center of the page.) Despite the fact that there are several Jesus paintings accessible, the majority of people believe that the true face of Jesus was shown in Akiane’s ‘Prince of Peace,’ as represented in her God-given visions.Colton Burpo had also verified to his father that the picture of Jesus was, in fact, of him.

When Colton died during emergency surgery when he was three years old, the narrative of his trip to paradise, his contact with Jesus, and the reason he was brought back home are all described in the book ‘Heaven Is For Real,’ which is available on Amazon.

As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one

Romans 3:10

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost

Luke 19:10

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many

Mark 10:45

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief

1 Timothy 1:15

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

John 3:16 is a biblical passage that teaches that God is love. The Ark of the Covenant serves as God’s throne on our planet..Ron Wyatt discovered the dried blood of Jesus Christ on the right side of the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant on January 6, 1982 A.D., at around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, and immediately reported it to authorities (during his fourth visit since 1979 when he began digging).Later testing and analysis revealed that the dried blood had ‘live’ chromosomes with a total of 23X + 1Y.This demonstrates that Jesus does not have a human father and that His essence is divine.

Anointing/sanctification of the Ark of the Covenant was accomplished by’sprinkling’ Jesus’ blood on it.It was also the final sacrifice for redemption and atonement for the sins of mankind, because Jesus is the Lamb of God, and therefore the ultimate sacrifice for sin.The sacrificial death of Jesus was the reason why God decided to end the practice of animal blood sacrifice for all time. The presence of Jesus’ blood on the right side of the Ark of the Covenant also confirms that He will one day take His proper place on the right hand side of God’s Throne in heaven.

  1. (Ephesians 1:20-21; 2:20-21) Furthermore, God’s decision to tear the Tabernacle’s Veil in two from top to bottom when Jesus died was God’s means of allowing man direct access to His Presence via the blood sacrifice of His only born son, Jesus Christ.
  2. (See also John 14:6)

When Ron was in the chamber where he discovered the Ark of the Covenant, there was one particularly remarkable incident that took place. Besides the fact there were 4 angels guarding the Ark (since the time Moses had placed the two tables of stone of the Ten Commandments inside), one of the angels instructed Ron to take the tables of stone out of the Ark while the 4 of them lifted the Mercy Seat that is made of solid gold. Soon after the same angel took charge of the tables of stone from Ron and placed them on a stone shelf. Ron was then able to take a video of them too and was told by the angel to place the video on top of the tables of stone (perhaps for future discovery and vindication for Ron). Ron’s two sons, Danny and Ronny, recalled that their father had told them that the writing on the tables of stone looked as if a finger had written them on “soft butter.” There’s no doubt that the finger of God writing the Ten Commandments Himself on the tables of stone would have the power to melt their surfaces.

″And there are three witnesses in the earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three are one in their agreement.″ If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater: because it is God who has testified of his Son, and it is God who has testified of his Son.″ (1 John 5:8-9; 1 John 5:10) When Jesus died on the cross at Golgotha (about 3 p.m.on a Wednesday) and poured His blood and water (see video 56:40 mark), God tore the veil in the Tabernacle in half from top to bottom.1 John 5:8–11 is an example of this. The Veil was approximately 30 feet high, 30 feet broad, and 4 inches thick at its thickest point.

In a video testimony by Ron Wyatt’s younger son Ronny, he recounted how the Antiquities authority of Israel had sought his father’s help to retrieve the bodies of 6 dead rabbis who were struck dead while on their way to the chamber in Jerusalem in 1995. The chamber is located directly beneath Golgotha or Calvary hill, the site where Jesus was crucified. Apparently the rabbis thought that by dressing up as Levite priests of ancient days it would be okay for them to go to the chamber and approach the sacred Ark and therefore also okay for them to bring the Ark out of the chamber. They thought wrong and their mistake was fatal and no one had dared go inside the tunnel (the chamber was still some distance away) to bring out the corpses lest he be struck dead, too. Ron Wyatt obviously performed the task and successfully retrieved the dead bodies of the 6 misguided rabbis. According to Ron, all the dead displayed “cross-eyed” look, presumably related to death by massive stroke.

What this tells us is that only Ron Wyatt, who passed on in August 4, 1999 A.D., was blessed by God to go find as well as go near the sacred Ark and no one else, and the time to bring out the Ark and show it to the world has not yet arrived. At his death-bed confession, Ron said one of the angels in the chamber told him that the Ark and Ten Commandments would be made known to the world after the ‘Mark of the Beast Law’ is passed. Man better take heed that God’s Law (Ten Commandments) is very much in effect and transgression against the Law has consequences. Ronny’s testimony regarding the request for help by the Israeli authority starts at the 40:10 mark.

2 B.C. John the Baptist was born in March:April during the Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread around Nisan 15th 3756 (Hebrew calendar). John was a cousin of Jesus and his birth was 6 months earlier than Jesus.
2 B.C. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in October on the Day of Atonement in Tishri 10th 3757.
30 A.D. John began his ministry in March:April around Nisan 15th 3786, preparing the way for Jesus.
30 A.D. After the Sabbath of the Day of Atonement, Jesus was anointed and began His ministry on earth in October in Tishri 10th 3787, and after His baptism by John the Baptist in the Jordan River. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights without water or food. After coming out of the wilderness, Jesus began calling His Disciples saying “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Jesus was 30 years old and His ministry spanned a period of 3 1/2 years. John 1:24-34 Matthew 4:1-11 Matthew 4:18-19
31 A.D. Jesus completed His First year of ministry in October in Tishri 10th 3788.
32 A.D. Jesus completed His Second year of ministry in October in Tishri 10th 3789.
33 A.D. Jesus completed His Third year of ministry in October in Tishri 10th 3790.
33 A.D. Jesus was crucified at Golgotha / Calvary hill on Annual (not weekly) Preparation/Passover Day in March:April in Nisan 14th 3790, after completing 1/2 year of ministry.
The crucifixion took place at the 3rd hour (9.00 a.m. today’s time) on Wednesday, April 3, 33 A.D. (Hebrew days begin and end at sunset.)  Mark 15:25
At the 6th hour (noon) there was darkness over the whole land until the 9th hour.  Mark 15:33, Luke 23:44
At the 9th hour (3.00 p.m.) Jesus gave up the ghost and died.  Mark 15:34-37
Simultaneously the Veil in the Tabernacle rent in two from top to bottom; the earth quaked; the rocks rent. And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose (resurrection of the dead in Christ).  Matthew 27:51-52
Since it was the Annual Preparation/Passover Day (there were two Sabbaths in that week), Joseph of Arimathaea went to seek Pilate’s permission for the body of Jesus to be taken down for burial for it should not remain on the cross on Sabbath Day.  Mark 15:42-45
Permission granted, Joseph of Arimathaea then went to take down the body of Jesus from the cross. He was joined by Nicodemus shortly and they interred the body of Jesus and placed it in a never-used-before tomb in a garden located nearby to the site of crucifixion. The entrance of the tomb was sealed with a huge round slab of stone, which was also chained and secured. A “watch” was agreed to by Pilate to guard the tomb to ensure no one “steal” the body. (Mathew 27:64-66)
The body of Jesus laid in the tomb on the Annual Preparation/Passover Day, Thursday, April 3, 33 A.D.; High Day of Sabbath, Friday, April 4, 33 A.D.; and the Sabbath Day, Saturday, April 5, 33 A.D. Jesus’ resurrection (had to happen before sunset on Saturday) had already taken place before Mary Magdalene arrived at dawn Sunday morning.
On the first day of the week, Sunday, April 6, 33 A.D., when it was very early in the morning at sunrise, Mary Magdalene; and Mary the mother of James; and Salome went to the tomb. They saw that the huge round slab of stone had been rolled away.  Mark 16:1-4
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.  Luke 24:3-7
Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day (having laid in the tomb for 3 days & 3 nights) in March:April in Nisan 17th 3790. The first disciple to see the resurrected Jesus was Mary Magdalene, who was later instructed by Jesus to go and inform the other disciples. Jesus remained on earth for 40 days. He walked and talked in places where His ministry had been; He was seen in His restored body by thousands; He healed many; He continued to preach; He continued to love. And then He ascended to Heaven – taken up in the sky, which also was witnessed by others – and sat on the right hand side of God. The way Jesus ascended to heaven; the same way He will return again to earth.  John 20:15-18 Acts 1:1-12 Mark 16:19
