How much does Jesus love me? How does God see me?

Have you ever pondered the question, ″How much does Jesus love me?″ Have you ever considered the answer to this question?Many of us are in relationships and frequently worry how much our wives, husbands, or children love us and our children.Isn’t it true that when others adore us, we feel joyful and overjoyed?

In our lives, love is the most crucial aspect of who we are.When we are in a committed relationship with someone who genuinely cares about us, we feel lucky and whole.Once again, the question arises: How much does Jesus care about me?

We shall never be able to fathom the depths of Jesus’ love for us in our entirety.The human intellect is incapable of comprehending the entire extent of God’s love.Perhaps it will only be in paradise that we will truly understand how much God loves us.

If you are willing to lay down your life for a friend, Jesus declared that there is no greater love than that.It implies that you are willing to give up everything about yourself, even your own life, for someone else.God plainly demonstrated His love for us by sending His one and only Son to die in our place for our sins.God the Father sacrificed everything in order to save us.Jesus came to earth with the knowledge that he would have to sacrifice himself and die in our place.This is a beautiful example of love.

I mean, Jesus didn’t wait for us to repent or change; instead, he offered his life for us while we were still sinners.Would you be willing to offer your life to save someone who has spent their entire life sinning against you and doing things to cause you pain and suffering?Well, I don’t suppose I would, either, but Jesus did it anyhow.He gave up all he had, including his own Father, and came down to earth to suffer a horrendous death in order to free you and me from our sins.When I saw the movie ″The Passion of the Christ,″ I was in complete disbelief and couldn’t understand how much Jesus had to go through for my salvation.Has the idea of how much Jesus must have endured to redeem you from your sins ever occurred to you during the annual Good Friday observance of your church?

• Take a glance at the Cross every time you are feeling sad, lonely, or depressed, and you wonder: How much does Jesus care about me?
• It represents God’s complete and total declaration of love for you.

Few Bible verses on God’s love.

Love is gentle and patient, and it is patient with you.It is not envious, it is not boastful, and it is not arrogant.Nothing about it is harsh or self-seeking; it is not readily irritated; and it does not keep track of wrongs committed.

Love does not take pleasure in wickedness, but rather takes pleasure in the truth.It always defends, trusts, hopes, and perseveres whatever the circumstances.Love is a force that cannot be defeated.

Faith, hope, and love are the only three things that remain.The greatest of all, though, is love.1 Corinthians 13:4-13 is a passage from the Bible.

God, on the other hand, demonstrates his love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.Romans 5:8 is a Bible verse that explains how to be a Christian.In this, God’s love for us was made apparent among us, as God sent his only Son into the world so that we may live through him and experience eternal life.This is love, not in the sense that we have loved God, but in the sense that he has loved us and sent his Son to be the sacrifice for our sins.Being loved by God means that we should love one another as much as God loves us.1 John 4:9-11 (KJV) He created him to be sin who had no knowledge of sin for our sake, so that in him we could become the righteousness of God.

How does God see me?

We must keep one fundamental reality in mind throughout our discussion: God sees me as an individual, in my personal relationship with Himself, but He also sees me as a group, in our interactions with one another, and as a whole, in our relationship with Himself.In order to help us grasp His intentions, God has utilized metaphors of things we are familiar with from everyday life throughout history, things we are familiar with and understand, to help us understand His intentions.For starters, there are the numerous parables that Jesus told, in which he frequently stated: ″The kingdom of heaven is like…″ A prodigal son, an opportunistic farmer who sows, a shepherd caring for his sheep, wedding guests, and more such tales would be told by him after that.

God considers us to be his offspring.In a father-child connection, there is first and foremost the father: he is the one who created the kid; he is the one who has authority; he is the one who leads; he is the one who educates; he is the one who loves his child; he guides, instructs, and even disciplines his child when necessary.The youngster expresses gratitude for everything; he loves his father; he is meek and obedient, among other characteristics.

The issue arises: do I exhibit the characteristics of a God-begotten kid in my life?God recognizes and recognizes his offspring.In the same way, those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God, according to Romans 8:14.

(Do I actively seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in my everyday activities?) Jesus said in John 3:36 that he who believes in the Son has eternal life, and that he who does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God will be upon him.Gal 5:24 – But those who belong to Christ have crucified their body with all of its desires and lusts, so that they may serve the Lord.(Have I crucified my desires and lusts for the sake of Jesus Christ?1 3:1 – John 3:1 – Behold, what a wonderful gift the Father has given us, that we should be referred to as God’s own children.Please read Jesus’ parables in Luke 15 about the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal (lost) son, and reflect on the delight with which God brings us back again and again – like the father who welcomes his wayward son back into his home with wide open arms.What is it that God expects from us?

• 1 In the same way, as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the past lusts of your ignorance, but to the Holy One who called you, you also become holy in all your behaviour (see 1 Peter 1:14-15).
• (Do I follow His commands in my daily life?) Ephesians 5:1-2 – As God’s beloved children, therefore, be disciples of God.
• And walk in love, just as Christ has loved us and sacrificed Himself for us, so should we (Please read also vv.2-21.).

1. God considers us to be His bride.
2. We all know how a wedding is supposed to proceed, but for the time being, let us concentrate on the bridegroom and the wedding ring that he gives to his bride.
3. The ring represents all of the promises he has made to his wife, as well as his commitment to keeping all of those commitments, as well as his loyalty and unwavering love for her.
4. With such pledges, he bonds himself to her in an unbreakable bond.
5. Every believer individually, as well as the entire church of God as a whole, has now been designated as His wife, to whom He has irrevocably pledged himself.

According to what we have learned thus far, God has always used metaphors to communicate His intentions throughout history.In Genesis 9:8-13, God gave the sign of the rainbow to assure Noah that there would be no global flood again; in Genesis 17:10-13, God gave the sign of circumcision to establish His covenant with Abraham and his descendants; and in Matthew 28:19-20, God gave the sign of discipleship to His followers – baptism in the Name of The Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit – to establish who His disciples would be.God gave us the symbol of baptism in the same way as a bridegroom gives his bride a ring as a proof of his vows.Humanly speaking, baptism might be thought of as God’s wedding ring to the person who is baptized — a symbol of God’s pledge to the person who is baptized that He will keep all of His promises.

• Have you ever pondered why Jesus chose to be baptized by John the Baptist?
• I am the clay, and he is the potter.
• Rom 9:20-21 – Who are you to respond in a way that is contrary to God?
• Is it possible for the object produced to say to the One who formed it, ″Why did you make me this way?″ Isn’t the potter in control of the clay, able to create two different vessels from the same lump of clay, one for honor and one for dishonor?
• God considers us to be members of His flock.
• 10:11 (John 10:11) – I am the Good Shepherd, and I am with you.

The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sake of the sheep.:4 And when he sends forth his own flock, he goes ahead of them, and the flock follows behind him.Because they are familiar with his voice.:14 I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those who are Mine, and those who are Mine know who I am.:15 I am known by those who are Mine.And I am willing to give my life for the sheep.We thank you, Lord, for caring for me so much that You would come and find me after I went astray, carry me on your shoulders, and throw a party to celebrate having me back in your possession (Luk15:4-7).God considers us to be His Disciples.A follower of Jesus must crucify his or her own lusts and passions that are contrary to God’s plan for their lives.

14:27 (Luke 14:27) – In addition, whomever does not take up his cross and follow Me cannot call himself My disciple.God considers us to be a part of His body.Keep in mind that God views us not just as individuals, but also as a tightly connected group of people.In the same way as the many members of a body care for one another, complement one another, and aid one another, so too are we accountable as members of His body.12:27 a.m., 1Co – And you are a part of the body of Christ, as well as its members.:21 It is impossible for the eye to say to the hand, ″I have no need of you,″ nor for the head to say to the feet, ″I have no need of you.″:7 However, the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each individual for the benefit of the group and for the common good.Similarly to how God has assigned distinct roles to the various parts of our bodies, He has also endowed each of us with unique talents and capacities.

1. The many elements of a body are designed to work together and form a cohesive whole.
2. In this way, the body edifies and builds itself up in love as each part of it does its role (Eph.4:16).
3. Let us recall the young boy’s meal, which consisted of 5 small loaves of bread and 2 pieces of fish (Joh.6:5-13).

• That modest meal, in the hands of Jesus, was multiplied to feed more than 5,000 people, with the leftovers being divided into 12 baskets.
• Consider what Jesus can do with your talent(s), no matter how minor or inconsequential it may appear to be, in order to achieve His purposes via you!
• What does God think of us?
• His earthly body, through which He wishes to carry out His mission, using whatever gifts He has bestowed upon us; His children, for whom He would care, love, and lead; His wife, who must honour and be devoted to Him; and His followers, who are to follow Him are all important.
• But, how do we see Him in the first place?

1. Or, more specifically, how do we treat Him?
2. Are we obedient to Him in our capacity as our Father?
3. Are we faithful to Him in the same way that a bride should be?
4. Do we, like He did, display our love for Him in our everyday lives as well?
5. Do we offer ourselves to Him in the same way that He offered His life for us?

5 Ways Jesus Said ″I Love You″ with His Life

″I Love You″ was expressed through Jesus’ life, as he showed up for everyone of us and provided us with hope in the midst of our chaotic existence.He ascended from His throne in order to free us from our sad selves on this planet.It is only through His life and presence in our hearts that we may come to understand and love ourselves and one another.

Sadness permeates our society today, particularly among people who have never experienced true love.We learn from Jesus’ example that love is more than simply words, and that we may demonstrate this to others.Love is the act of taking action.

″Love is patient, love is gentle,″ says the poet.It is not envious, it is not boastful, and it is not arrogant.In addition, it does not defame others, pursue its own interests, becomes easily agitated, or keeps a record of wrongs committed.

Love does not take pleasure in wickedness, but rather takes pleasure in the truth.″It always defends, always believes, always hopes, and always perseveres,″ says the author.(See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 for further information.) This type of love is not something that just happens.It’s the type of love that motivates us to take action.Love is more than simply an emotion; it is also a decision.Jesus was under no need to love us.

In the end, Christ decided to love us with open arms while being nailed to the cross.Jesus is the embodiment of love.Jesus is our Savior, and He came to earth in order to demonstrate His love for us.He mingled and conversed with sinners just like us.He volunteered His time to individuals, instructing and advising them on how to live their best lives.Besides being an excellent human being, He is the light of the world, and He has provided a means for all of us to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

• In exchange for our sins, He died on the cross and was risen from the dead.
• Because Jesus is the only way to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, He has prepared a particular space for us.
• He desires for us to be able to feel His unwavering love.

Jesus says ″I love you″ by inviting us to be with Him forever

• Jesus demonstrates His love for us by inviting us to His everlasting home and extending a warm welcome to us.
• When we turn to Jesus in repentance, he welcomes us with open arms.
• He is patiently waiting for us to come to him with a surrendered heart and a determination to improve our lives.
• He never gives up on us, no matter how difficult the situation appears to be.

Jesus taught us the narrative of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) which is a story of unconditional love.Even though we have all been prodigals who have wandered off the path, He tells us that we are unconditionally loved by Him.Jesus longs for us to accept Him into our hearts and share in the celebration of everlasting life that He has promised us.He has a special space set apart for you and me.He accepts us back into his arms no matter what we have done wrong.

Jesus says ″I love you″ by caring for us

• Jesus keeps a close eye on us at all times.
• When one of us becomes disoriented, He goes out of his way to locate us and bring us back into the fold.
• He defends us in the same way that a shepherd defends his flock against wolves.
• David’s psalm about the Good Shepherd serves as a wonderful illustration of how much Jesus cares for us.

″I have everything because the Lord is my shepherd.He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters, and he refreshes my soul with his presence.He directs me in the proper direction for the sake of his name.Even if I have to walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid because you are with me; your rod and your staff are there to provide comfort.It is your responsibility to set a table in advance of my adversaries’ arrival.

My cup is overflowing as you anoint my head with oil.You can be sure your goodness and love will follow me throughout my entire life, and I will reside in the house of the Lord for eternity.″ Psalm 23 is a song of praise.It is important to remember that God did not create us to be alone; rather, He created us to be in fellowship with others.As the good Shepherd, he makes certain that no one escapes from His protection.

1. He keeps us in the loop at all times.
2. He takes the hook from His rod and uses it to yank his wandering sheep back into line.
3. It is necessary for a good shepherd to spend time with dirty and stench-filled sheep.

1. He is there to look after them during the long, dark nights and to keep them safe from the storms.
2. Jesus is right there with us, even in the most difficult situations.
3. The Lord waits patiently for us to lift our eyes to Him and extend our hands to Him.
4. This is the definition of true love.

Jesus says ″I love you″ by spending time with people

• Jesus spent time with sinners and the ill, as well as with those who were not well.
• Nobody else would dare to get near to the people he ate and drank with on a daily basis.
• In times of persecution, we may take comfort in the fact that we have a Good Shepherd who cares for us!
• Those who are brokenhearted and unwell will find healing through his love.

Jesus demonstrated His compassion for the poor, widows, and orphans throughout His life by paying visits to them.Jesus spent His life with a specific goal in mind, and that aim was to help everyone.In Him, anyone who would welcome Him found hope, and He called on us to do the same!In order to instruct and encourage His followers, Jesus spent a lot of time with them.They ate their meals together while they fellowshipped, and they traveled together to minister to large groups of individuals.

Jesus says ″I love you″ by changing our hearts

• When Jesus went, He promised His disciples that they would not be left alone in the world.
• He saw that they would miss Him and assured them that the comfort of the Holy Spirit would be with them.
• When we invite Jesus into our hearts, we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
• The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all one in the same!

When we pray to our heavenly Father in Jesus’ name, we may be confident that we are in His immediate presence.Because of the blood of Jesus, we are allowed to enter the throne chamber of prayer.We don’t have to go to a priest to confess our sins.As we follow Jesus’ example, He will provide us with skills, tactics, discernment, and knowledge to help us live a more fulfilling life in the world.He communicates with our hearts in a variety of ways.

It can come in the form of music, texts, friends, lessons, visions, miracles, and a variety of other ways.As a result of his work, our thinking is transformed, and we are filled with the fruit of the spirit.“ Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, on the other hand, are the fruits of the Spirit.There is no legislation that protects people from such activities (Galatians 5:22-23).

Jesus says ″I love you″ by dying on the cross

• There is a lot of sadness in life.
• Jesus came to give us reason to be hopeful.
• His message is that this is not our home, and that we have no place in this environment.
• In our pain, we all want for a better place, and by growing closer to God, we may make our sorrow less acute and last longer.

We have all sinned in some way.Shame and shame keep us trapped in the abyss of self-pity.We were given new life when Jesus resurrected from the dead and took our sins with Him.We have the freedom to live at peace with ourselves, to modify the way we go about our business, and to refuse to return to our former habits.For those who love Jesus, He is the one who makes all things new.

The tale of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins is the greatest love story that has ever been recounted.He has prepared a path for us to enter the throne chamber and enjoy eternal life with Him in Paradise, thanks to His sacrifice on the cross.Jesus came to demonstrate to us that He seeks a relationship with us.He yearns for us to experience His unwavering love for us.

1. He bore our sin and shame on the cross, and he continues to supply us with grace, compassion, and do-overs on a daily basis!
2. Jesus came to serve us and to be crucified as a sacrifice for our folly.
3. He desires for us to be able to sense and experience this type of love.

1. When we receive God’s incredible love, we have the ability to love like Jesus.
2. Today, we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
3. Then He sends us out into the world to share His love with others who are in need of it.
4. Missionaries, evangelists, teachers, pastors, parents, friends, siblings, and intercessors are all examples of Jesus in our lives.
5. When we love like Jesus, we have the ability to effect change in our world.

7 Different Ways Jesus Showed Love

• Love is a course of action.
• No one, not even our Lord Jesus Christ, demonstrated the depths of pure love as he did.
• By His actions, He provided a model for Christians to follow in order to exhibit love to one another and to the rest of the world.
• Have you ever taken some time to ponder on Christ’s love?

If not, you should.Think about how there is nothing in this world, or nothing that is not in this world, that can ever separate us from His love.It’s a wonderful thought.

Meditate on the 7 different ways Jesus showed love during His earthly ministry:

Because of Jesus’ one-time sacrifice, God’s love extends beyond time and into all eternity.

1)  Jesus Healed The Sick in Love

“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick” (Matthew 14:14).

• There were no hospitals, clinics, or doctor’s offices in existence throughout Jesus’ earthly mission.
• Both the affluent and the poor were troubled by the fear of incurable diseases caused by infections, fevers, or food poisoning.
• In contrast to many religious leaders of the time, Jesus, the Great Physician, felt incredible compassion for people who were made useless by sickness; nonetheless, many religious leaders of the time regarded the physically incapacitated to be cursed by God.
• Jesus is still healing people today, except that He isn’t constrained by the fact that He is in one place at one particular moment.

Jesus, via the ministry of the Holy Spirit, expresses His compassion to all people who are not only physically ill, but also emotionally and spiritually ill, demonstrating His love for everyone.

2)  Jesus Raised The Dead in Love

“Jesus wept…once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance” (John 11:35, 38).

• Thousands of individuals who were considered to be dead for only a few minutes have been brought back to life because to advancements in medical technology and science.
• Jesus, on the other hand, resurrected Lazarus from the dead after he had been in the tomb for three days!
• His tears were a testament to his feelings for Lazarus and for his sisters.
• As He has done since the beginning of time, Jesus continues to raise the dead by providing new life to everyone who puts their confidence in Him.

His love reawakens us from our state of death, futility, and incomprehension.We are brought to life instantaneously in the sense of His love for all time and all eternity.

3)  Jesus Fed The Hungry in Love

“Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way.” (Matthew 15:32).

• Jesus performed one of the greatest miracles in history when he fed five thousand people with only five loaves of bread and two fish.
• These individuals weren’t even moderately hungry; they’d been fasting for three days in order to hear and absorb the wonderful teachings of Christ in their hearts.
• The lessons of God’s Word continue to nourish the earth, and he continues to do so in love.
• Many of us were spiritually malnourished and anemic in our thinking until the truth of the Bible pierced our hearts and filled our spirits with the power of God.

4)  Jesus Preached The Kingdom in Love

“When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things” (Mark 6:34).

• Although the disciples wished for Jesus to establish His kingdom in order to defeat the Romans, He had a far grander plan in mind, one that included not only the Jewish people, but the entire globe.
• His compassion for the world forced Him to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God, which was destined to spread to unthinkable heights in the future.
• Jesus is continually teaching the gospel of the kingdom via the church.
• Despite the onslaught of Satan, the world, and our own flesh, the kingdom of God continues to progress in its efforts to bring the gates of hell crashing down around it.

5)  Jesus Cast Out Demons in Love

“When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick” (Matthew 8:16).

• Demon-possessed persons, both in Jesus’ day and in our own day, are frequently sent out into the wilderness.
• The majority of people do not want the drama that comes with dealing with bad spirits.
• These wounded souls were welcomed into the arms of Jesus’ love, which provided them with fresh life as well as release from spiritual enslavement.
• As members of Christ’s body, Christians are called to go out in faith and proclaim freedom to others who have been held prisoner by Satan.

Because perfect love wipes away all fear, our love for the lost must transcend our dread of losing them.

6) Jesus Interceded For His Disciples And The Church in Love

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you” (John 17:20-21).

• Jesus was well aware that the sheep would be scattered after His death, yet He prayed sincerely and lovingly for them, asking that they be safe, joyful, and kind toward one another.
• Christians are particularly vulnerable to being persecuted for their religion because they live in a sinful, fallen world while not being of it.
• However, many people would rather endure poverty, pain, and even physical death than renounce their Lord.
• Jesus is still interceding on behalf of people who are His followers out of love for them.

He is currently seated at the right hand of God, interceding for the church’s perseverance in the face of harsh persecutions that it is experiencing.

7)  Jesus Gave His Life For The World in Love

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

• Nothing that is worshipped today can stand up to what Jesus did—stepping down from the throne of heaven to live among sinful men.
• He gave His life so that not one person would have to spend eternity without God.
• Because of Jesus’ one-time sacrifice, God’s love extends beyond time and into all eternity.
• Who is man that He is mindful of him?

We may never fully understand how much God loves us through Jesus Christ, but we can receive His love forever.

Love in action!

Although the love of Jesus is larger and deeper than any human being can comprehend, we can recognize our own unworthiness and accept the charity that is extended to those who believe. Every day, Jesus demonstrates His affection for you…do you recognize it?

One basic explanation why this is an essential question is as follows: Jesus instructed His followers to love one another in the same way that He loved them. This little contemplation will just serve to get us started on the subject of how Jesus loves us for another straightforward reason: Over the course of a lifetime, we get a deeper grasp of Jesus’ love and the meaning of it. What we know about Jesus’ love for everyone of us is summarized in the following points: Jesus came to us in order for us to get to know Him. It is necessary to love one another by bringing ourselves to one another in order to develop true and authentic relationships based on compassion

• Jesus demonstrated how we should spend our lives. Helping one other live well is an important part of loving one another. In every aspect of life, Jesus provides us with compelling examples of how to live, pray, think, act, and be as a result of his teachings. He teaches us how to cope with authority, religion, racism, conflict, and money in a positive and productive way (just to name a few). He teaches us a new way of thinking (bless those who hate you and pray for those who persecute you)
• he teaches us to love our enemies.

• Encouragement: What enables us to love one another in the same way that Jesus loved us?
• It all starts with our humble acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior in our life.
• The presence of the Holy Spirit, who lives inside us, allows us to continue to love one another.
• It is also essential to rely on God’s word, pray, and be in community with people who are also following God on this road of loving one another as Jesus loved us.

Please accept my prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for teaching Your followers about the importance of loving one another.Thank You for preserving them in the Bible for all of us to read and learn from them.You are much appreciated for challenging us to love one another in the same manner that You love us.We do, without a doubt, require Your assistance in this matter.Please, Holy Spirit, assist us.

Introduction for the Teacher

• Please study and contemplate the following passages in order to spiritually prepare yourself to deliver this lesson: Jesus Christ established the standard for compassion and love in the world.
• In His earthly mission, Jesus demonstrated His compassion for others by blessing and ministering to the poor, the ill, and those who were in need of assistance.
• He informed His followers, ″This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you″ (John 15:12; see also John 13:34–35; Moroni 7:46–48).
• He said, ″This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.″

Preparation

• Page 22 should be highlighted in this handbook so that you can find it quickly.
• Ensure that you bring a copy of the scriptures.

Learning Activities

Start with a gathering activity to acquire information. See page 3 for some inspiration.

Prayer

A youngster should be invited to say the opening prayer.

Song

• Inform the youngsters that when Jesus Christ was on the planet, He taught us to love one another and demonstrated how to do so via His actions.
• Perform the movements shown below while singing or saying the chorus of ″I’m Trying to Be Like Jesus″ (Children’s Songbook, pages 78–79).
• Inviting the youngsters to join you is a good idea.
• Love one another as much as Jesus loves each of you.

Turn from side to side while hugging yourself.Make an effort to be kind in whatever you do.The teachings of Jesus are to be soft and loving both physically and mentally, (hug oneself and turn from side to side) and these are the things that Jesus modeled.(rising and lowering of the head)

Scripture Stories

• Show the youngsters a copy of the Bible or other sacred text.
• Inform them that we may learn about Jesus’ love for them through the Scriptures.
• Tell the following tales in a succinct manner: Story 1 (shown on page 27 with an image) is as follows: A large number of people had gathered to hear Jesus preach.
• They had been there for a long time and were becoming hungry (have the children pretend to be hungry).

There was just a small amount of bread and fish to go around to feed everyone.Jesus blessed the food and instructed His followers to distribute it to the crowds in the area.All of the people had plenty to eat, and there was plenty of food left over (have the children pretend to eat).(See Matthew 14:13–21 for further information.) Allow the youngsters to join you in saying, ″Jesus showed us how to love others,″ a few words at a time, as you speak.Story 2 (display the illustration on page 26): One day, Jesus came across a man who was blind—he was unable to see anything (have the children cover their eyes).

Jesus blessed the man in order for him to be able to see (have the children uncover their eyes).(See John 9:1–12 for further information.) ″Jesus demonstrated to us how to love others,″ you might have the youngsters repeat with you.Story 3 (display the picture on page 22): After Jesus was raised from the dead, He went to the Nephites to see them.He blessed each and every one of the children because He cared for them (have the children hug themselves).

Song

Repeat the chorus of ″I’m Trying to Be Like Jesus″ aloud or in your own words. Invite the youngsters to join you in singing and doing the activities.

Conclusion

Please share your testimony that we may love one another as Jesus loved us all.

Prayer

Assign a youngster to offer the closing prayer.

Optional Activities

Preparation

• For the puzzle: Bring a picture of the Savior (you could use the picture on page 106 if you’d like). Find a piece of paper that is the same size as the picture (or cut a piece of paper to the same size) and cut the paper into three or four pieces to make a puzzle. Write “I Will Love Others” on the back of each piece.
• For the scripture activity: Bring a copy of the Bible. Mark John 15:12 so that you can turn to it easily.
• For the illustration activity: Copy the illustration on page 27 for each child.

Puzzle

• The puzzle pieces should be used to cover the image of Jesus.
• Instruct a youngster to select a piece.
• Read the phrase on the item aloud to the class and have them all repeat it.
• Discuss one method in which we might show love to others (say thank you, share, do what Mother or Father ask, put toys away, and so on).

Continue this process with each component until the artwork is entirely unveiled.Reiterate the idea that Jesus modeled for us how to treat others with respect.

Scripture

As you speak with the youngsters, remind them that Jesus taught us to love one another in the Scriptures. ″Love one another,″ says the Bible in John 15:12, if you have it open. Invite the youngsters to join in on the repetition of the sentence.

Perform the movements shown below while singing or saying the words to ″Jesus Said Love Everyone″ (Children’s Songbook, 61). Inviting the youngsters to join you is a good idea. Jesus advised to love everyone; (stretched his arms out wide) and to treat them with kindness as well. Other people will adore you if your heart is full of love (nod head up and down). (Self-hugging)

Illustration

• Distribute a copy of the artwork on page 27 to each kid.
• In order to remind the youngsters of the tale you told them earlier, ask them questions regarding the image.
• As an illustration: Is it possible to make out Jesus in the picture?
• When the children look at their copies of the artwork, they should be able to point to Jesus.

4 signs that God first loved you

• After reading an article titled 4 indicators that God isn’t your first love, it prompted me to think about how God originally loved us: via Jesus Christ.
• God was the first to love us.
• (1 John 4:19) He loved us first (1 John 4:19) and died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8).
• (Romans 5:8).

When I understood the nature of God’s love for me, my own love for Him and for others developed as a result of that understanding.As a result, I’d like to offer these four indications that demonstrate how God originally loved you and me.

4 SIGNS THAT GOD FIRST LOVED US

1. He’s our shepherd

• The Good Shepherd is the one who goes in search of the lost sheep in the Parable of the Lost Flock (Luke 15:3-7), and he is the one who finds the sheep.
• He is well aware that the sheep will never be able to make its way back to its herd if left to its own devices.
• In my church, it’s not unusual to hear individuals talk about how they’ve discovered God.
• However, the fact is that God – as the one who initially loved me – is the one who discovered me and brought me home.

He is the one who took me into His arms and loving embrace, much as a Shepherd would for a terrified and stranded sheep in the wilderness.He brought me back to his house for a party.God is the one who tracked me down.The knowledge that my heavenly Father is aware of the fact that I am a sheep who often strays from the path of righteousness and who is prone to making poor judgments and blunders is a tremendous benefit.Despite this, He does not punish me, but rather welcomes me back home.

He is fully aware that I would never be able to find my way back home on my own.Christ found me where I had abandoned Him, even in the midst of my numerous failures, when I chose sin over God, and reintroduced me back to Himself.

2. He doesn’t leave us as orphans

• God the Father sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us because Jesus cared about us enough to ask God the Father to do so.
• Whether we are aware of it or not, we are hosting the actual presence of God on earth.
• It doesn’t matter how many times we mess up, how many times we’re unsure of our faith and our doubts appear to overwhelm us, or how many times we question that we’re loved by Him, we are still hosting the presence of God inside us.
• The Holy Spirit who empowered Jesus Christ is the same Spirit that is within every single Christian today, according to the Bible.
