Why Is Jesus The Only Way To Heaven

Is Jesus the only way to Heaven?

QuestionAnswer Yes, Jesus is the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven. It’s understandable that such an exclusive remark would confound, surprise, or even upset some, but it’s true all the same. According to the Bible, there is no other route to salvation other than through faith in Jesus Christ. “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus declares in John 14:6, referring to himself. “There is no other way to the Father but through me.” In this case, he is notaway, as in one of many; he istheway, as in one and only.

For a variety of reasons, Jesus is the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven.

It has been shown that Jesus is the only One who has come down from heaven and returned there (John 3:13).

He is the one and only atonement for sin (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:26).

  • He is the only individual who has ever been victorious over death and will live eternally (Hebrews 2:14–15).
  • In fact, Jesus is the only individual who has been “exalted.
  • Aside from John 14:6, Jesus made reference to Himself as the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven in a number of other places.
  • He asserted that His words are life (John 6:63).
  • Among other things, he is the “gate of the sheep” (John 10:7), “the food of life” (John 6:35), and “the resurrection” (John 20:28).
  • There is no one else who can legitimately claim such titles.
  • In his address to the Sanhedrin, Peter made it plain that Jesus was the only route to salvation: “Salvation can be found in no one else, because there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

(1 John 2:12).

Only through Christ is it possible to have eternal life in the presence of God.

In order to receive God’s free gift of salvation, we must look to Jesus and Jesus alone for guidance and direction.

According to the Bible, “This righteousness from God is given to those who believe through faith in Jesus Christ” (Romans 3:22).

“Do you also wish to go away?” Jesus inquired of the Twelve disciples.

“Lord, to whom shall we go?” Peter asks, and his response is spot on: “To whom shall we go?” “You have the words of eternal life in your possession, and we have believed and come to understand that you are the Holy One of God,” John 6:68–69 (New International Version).

Is Jesus the Only Way to Heaven?

What distinguishes Christianity from every other religion practiced across the world? The explanation is centered on Jesus Christ, who is known as “the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). Christ’s name literally translates as “anointed one.” Essentially, it is a shortened version of the old Hebrew word Messiah, which refers to the anointed one whom God will bring to redeem His people. The initial followers of Jesus in the early Christian church saw him as the Messiah prophesied by the prophets of the Hebrew Scriptures.

The prophesied Messiah flashed brightly in the darkness, and His light has never diminished since: “In Him was life, and that life was the light of all people.

Today, while world leaders battle with apparently insurmountable difficulties, this darker and dangerous environment serves to underline the brilliance of the One who said, “I am the light of the world.” Follow Me, and you’ll never be alone in the dark, but you’ll always have the light of life with you” (John 8:12).

  • He walked the world in the form of a man, yet he was also divine.
  • He then ascended into heaven.
  • Jesus was the only one who claimed to be God and was the only one who could demonstrate his divinity.
  • “There is no other way to the Father but through me” (John 14:6).
  • In this very Scripture, Jesus is revealed to be the Son of God.

Are you sure of your future in heaven? You can be.

While today’s society would like to believe that “all roads lead to Heaven,” the Bible informs us that Jesus is the one way to God’s forgiveness, salvation from Hell, and eternal life with Him. According to the Gospel of John, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one else can do these things for you. No one else can bring you to the Father but through me ” (John 14:6). It’s important to note that he states THE way, not A method. Jesus is the one and only way to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

“For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” “There is no one else who can save us since there is no other name under heaven given to humanity by which we must be saved.” The Bible says in Acts 4:12 that

Why is Jesus the only way to Heaven?

The Bible provides us with several examples of why Jesus is the key to entering the kingdom of God. According to 1 Peter 2:4, Jesus was predestined by God to be the Savior of the world. There has never been another person to come down from Heaven and then return, according to John 3:13. Jesus led a sinless life, as stated in Hebrews 4:15, according to the scriptures. God has accepted Jesus as the one and only sacrifice for the punishment of humankind’s sins, and no other offering has been accepted (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:26).

He is the only person who has ever been able to defeat death for all time (Hebrews 2:14-15).

“And, having been discovered in human form, he humbled himself by becoming submissive to the point of death, even death on a cross, in order to save others.

Jesus claimed to be the only way to Heaven.

A number of evidences are provided in the Bible to demonstrate that Jesus Christ is the key to God’s kingdom. According to 1 Peter 2:4, Jesus was chosen by God to be the Saviour and to be the Messiah. There has never been another person who came down from Heaven and then returned, according to John 3:13. Jesus led a sinless life, as stated in Hebrews 4:15, according to the Bible. For the consequence of humankind’s crimes, God has accepted Jesus as the one and only sacrifice that He has accepted (1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:26).

In fact, he is the only person who has ever completely defeated death (Hebrews 2:14-15).

“And, having been discovered in human form, he humbled himself by becoming submissive to the point of death, even death on a cross, for the sake of others.

Jesus is the Only Way to Forgiveness

It was important to the apostles that when they went out to teach about Jesus, they made it plain that Jesus died and rose again for a definite reason. Speaking to Jews gathered in the synagogue, Paul singled out Jesus as their Savior, saying, “I want you to know that through Jesus the remission of sins has been announced to you.” Through him, everyone who believes is become sinner-proof (Acts 13:38-39). “I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name,” John writes to all of the new churches, reminding them that Jesus Christ is the only reason their sins have been forgiven: “I am writing to you, dear children,” John says (1 John 2:12).

The only way to be forgiven of our sins is via Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the Only Way to Eternal Life in Heaven

Several prayers Jesus prayed to His Father in Heaven are recorded in the Bible, including: “Now this is everlasting life: that they may know you, the one true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3). (John 17:3). When He prayed this prayer, you were included in the group of people who heard Him. Jesus desires for you to know God and to know Him, Jesus, because He is the only way for you to receive God’s gift of forgiveness, salvation from the punishment of your sin, and eternal life in Heaven at God’s side.

TL;DR

According to the Bible, Jesus is the only way to receive God’s forgiveness, be saved from Hell, and spend eternity with Him in His presence. ‘Jesus said,’ he said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one else can do these things for you. No one else can bring you to the Father but through me ” (John 14:6). The truth is that no one will ever be able to earn their way in, learn their way in, or attain a sufficient level of personal purity to be able to skip Jesus on their route to Heaven.

Is Jesus the Only Way to Heaven?

Numerous individuals have accused Christianity and believers in Jesus Christ as being excessively narrow-minded, claiming that Christians preach that Jesus Christ is the only route to eternal life. Using the countless other religions of the world as a point of reference, they ask, “How can your way be the only way?” One of the possible solutions to this issue is that Jesus Himself claimed that He was, in reality, God manifested in the flesh of man. I and the Father are one and the same. (John 10:30, New American Standard Bible)He who has seen Me has seen the Father.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus responded to him in response.

We must determine if his comments about himself are truthful or untrue.

S.

Either this man was and continues to be the Son of God, or he is a lunatic or something far worse.” “You have a choice: you may treat Him as an idiot, spit on Him, and murder Him as a demon, or you can fall at His feet and acknowledge Him as Lord and God.” But let us refrain from making up any nonsense about His being a wonderful human teacher in order to be condescending.

He had no intention of doing so.” So either Jesus was a lunatic, a liar, or a fiction, or He truly was – and continues to be – the Son of God.

It’s Not About Me

Some individuals believe that all of the world’s faiths are fundamentally the same in their beliefs. However, this is just not the case. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all believe in a personal God who has revealed Himself to people via the Bible or other religious texts. Buddhists and Hindus believe God is impersonal and incomprehensible, as do many other religions. God, on the other hand, cannot be both personal and impersonal at the same time – neither paradigm can be accurate. However, Christianity differs from all other religions in the world in one other very essential concept: the notion that God reached out to man in order to save him since man was unable to save himself.

  1. In many global religions, it is taught that man must do good actions or conduct religious service in some way in order to be considered worthy enough for eternal salvation.
  2. Alternatively, he must dress in a certain sort of holy garb.
  3. Alternatively, he must worship in a certain manner.
  4. Those who practice radical faiths are often compelled to beat themselves with whips or rods as a way of showing their devotion to God.
  5. Some religions demand worship on Fridays, while others require worship on Saturdays, and still others require worship on Sundays.
  6. With the exception of Christianity, every other theological system depicts an individual as being weighed on a spiritual scale, with all of the sins they have committed on one side and all of the good actions they have done on the other.
  7. The Christian Bible, on the other hand, teaches that man is a sinner who can never earn redemption via his or her actions.

As a result, we all fall short of God’s magnificent standard, according to the text of Romans 3:10 (New Living Translation).

When we show off our good actions, they are nothing more than filthy rags in the eyes of the world.

Because God made Christ, who had never sinned, to be the sacrifice for our sins, so that we may be reconciled to God by Christ’s sacrifice.

5:21, New Living Translation)Jesus never sinned.

He served as the sacrificial lamb, bearing the iniquity of the entire nation upon his shoulders.

For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is God’s gift to you, not your own doing, so that no one may take credit for it.

2:8-9, New King James Version) Whatever you do for God, no matter how nice you are, how pious you are, or how much you sacrifice, you will never be good enough, or holy enough, to deserve redemption.

The Bible, on the other hand, informs us that redemption has been made accessible to us because Jesus came to earth and died on the cross in order to bear our sins.

(John 3:16, New King James Version) All we have to do is believe and accept what Jesus accomplished on our behalf in order to lead us to salvation. God has provided us with the ability to obtain salvation; all we need to do is open the door of faith and receive the gift of salvation.

Receiving the Free Gift

Jesus Christ announced himself to be the Son of God and the Saviour of the World in the Gospel of John the Baptist. Now it’s up to you to determine how you’ll respond to his request that you “follow me.” He announced that He alone is “the way, the truth, and the life – no one can come to the Father except through Me.” No one else can come to the Father except through Him. Are you ready to take the next step right now? Will you place your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior? Now is the time to place your life in His hands.

His yoke is easy, and His weight is light on our shoulders.

He requests that you come to Him and confess your faults in the presence of others in order to get His complete pardon.

Is it true that Jesus is the only way to heaven?

It is a widely held cultural idea that there are several routes to the afterlife. Is this correct? What would make more sense: for God to provide many different paths for people to get to Him, or for God to provide a single, unambiguous path for everyone to believe? When Jesus taught, he said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one else can give them these things. No one else can bring you to the Father but through me ” (John 14:6). According to Jesus, there is only one way to come into direct contact with God, and that is via Him.

  • “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
  • The joyful news of the resurrected Jesus was conveyed in this gospel.
  • As a result, not everyone will be immediately admitted to paradise when they die, as previously stated.
  • A route to follow that Jesus has offered is one of confidence in Him.
  • God, on the other hand, provided salvation as a free gift.
  • While some may consider this strategy to be exclusive, Jesus did so out of love for us that He provided Himself as the only way to get to paradise.
  • You can answer with a prayer that is similar to the one below if you want to accept Jesus as your Savior and gain eternal life.

It everything comes down to Jesus’ work and trusting in Him.” Dear God, I recognize that I am a sinner and that I will never be able to attain paradise on my own merits.

Now is the time for me to confess that I believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, who died for my sins and rose from the grave to offer me eternal life.

Thank you for embracing me and giving me eternal life.

Is Jesus the Only Way to Heaven?

America’s Keswick posted a new article in Freedom Fighters on July 12, 2019. The majority of individuals in our western civilization used to hold the same broad viewpoint at one time or another. America has a spiritual climate in which religion blossomed in a way that no other western country had experienced before. Over time, the post-modernists abandoned ultimate truth in favor of “tolerance,” a nebulous phrase with no clear meaning, which they applied selectively to the Christian worldview at the expense of others.

We have been instructed not to draw any definitive boundaries or make any categorical statements for the sake of unity.

“For the time will come when they (the people of the church) will not endure (tolerate) sound doctrine; but after their own lusts, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and they will be turned unto fables,” wrote Paul in 2 Timothy 3:16.

4:3-4).

This is especially true in this age of tolerance, where absolutes are rejected.

Consider:

  1. We have all sinned. (See also Romans 3:23.) The term “all” refers to the whole collection. That includes you. God despises sin in all its forms, including little “white lies,” theft, adultery, murder, and so on. Even though you are a decent person, you are not perfect, and God requires perfection from us. (Matthew 5:48
  2. Mark 1:15) We will never be able to achieve perfection on our own, but when we accept Christ as our Savior, we are informed that His righteousness will be credited to our account. (See Romans 4:1-7.) Sin removes us from the presence of God. In Isaiah 59:2, the Bible says There is only one way into heaven, and that is via Jesus Christ. (See also John 14:6, Romans 6:23, and Acts 4:12) Jesus Christ stated as much. He cannot be overlooked simply because he is a decent person. Making a claim that He is the only route to paradise is either true or it reveals Him to be a liar or a lunatic, neither of which is a good guy. When you believe that Jesus is the only way, it eliminates the other methods that some people want to claim: good deeds outweighing bad deeds, buying your way in (giving time and money for “God’s purposes”), or thinking that you are better than someone else (comparing your life to someone of lesser character) (Romans 11:5,6
  3. Titus 3:5). All other religions are false. Being truthful is insufficient! Dr. Ravi Zacharias is a Christian apologist who travels the world giving lectures in academic and religious settings. He is also an expert on several other religions. He states the following:

Christianity is not the only religion that asserts exclusivity in its teachings.” Muslims, for example, make a dramatic claim to exclusivity–not only in terms of theology, but also in terms of language. Muslims believe that the Koran is the one and only miracle of Islam, as well as the most complete and complete miracle of all time. The group claims that it is only recognisable in Arabic and that any translation would desecrate the symbol. Furthermore, not only is a fundamental command of Arabic essential, but also a nuanced understanding of the language.

When it comes to two or three problems, Hinduism is adamant: the law of karma, which is the rule of moral cause and effect, which holds that every birth is a rebirth that serves as retribution for the previous life; the authority of the Vedas; and reincarnation, all of which are uncompromising.

  • Essentially, what this implies is that Hinduism enables you to follow your own religion so long as it conforms to their syncretistic conception of truth (attempts to blend together different or even opposing beliefs).
  • Then there are the atheists, who are opposed to the beliefs of anyone who does not believe in God.
  • As a result, the accusation that Christians are arrogant in asserting exclusivity ignores the fact that every other major religion does the same thing.” The Bible is not only the last and only authority on all things spiritual, but it is also the only source of information.
  • In fact, the longer it has been around and archeology continues to make discoveries, the more the Bible’s historical accuracy is proven to be correct.
  • History has been modified, not discarded!
  • A number of biblical passages state unequivocally that Satan blinds our sight (II Corinthians 4:4), man thinks more highly of himself than he should (Romans 12:3), and there is a route that appears good to man but ultimately leads to spiritual death (Proverbs 14:12).
  • Due to Jesus’ sinlessness, He is the only One who is capable of forgiving our sins, and hence He is the only One who can save us from our sins (Romans 6:23).

There is no other religion that can deliver the endless payment for sin that Jesus Christ alone can supply.

It was necessary for Jesus to be God in order for Him to pay our sin debt.

Salvation is only attainable to those who place their faith in Jesus Christ!

You will perish if you do not accept this!

Is Jesus the Only Way To Heaven? –

Many individuals believe that simply being a decent person and treating others with respect will suffice to bring them into paradise. Others believe that keeping the Ten Commandments is the only way to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Also, some individuals hold the belief that all of humanity will ultimately get to paradise since God is just too loving a being to send anybody to hell. There are so many differing perspectives on how to go to heaven and what it is that we know they can’t all be correct — just as all roads don’t lead to the same destination.

  • Jesus arrived from heaven to a world that was full of wickedness.
  • Jesus was God manifested in human flesh, simultaneously human and divine.
  • He accomplished this by dying on the cross in order to pay the penalty for our sins.
  • He came back to life three days later and met with a number of individuals to demonstrate that He was still alive before departing for the afterlife.
  • “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” Jesus said, referring to himself.
  • It’s important to note that He makes no mention of doing well, attending to church, or having excellent character in his remark.
  • Being saved is only possible through faith in Christ.
  • These dark and dangerous events today, as the world works to overcome apparently insurmountable issues, serve to underline the brilliance of the One who said in the gospels, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12).
  • Will you put your faith in Him today?

Step 1 – God loves you and has a plan for you!

“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whomever believes in Him will not perish, but shall have eternal life,” according to the Scriptures (John 3:16). “I come so they may have life, and have it abundantly,” Jesus remarked, referring to a whole life with a clear sense of direction (John 10:10). However, there is a problem:

Step 2 – People are sinful and separated from God.

We have all done, thought, or spoken something that were wrong, which the Bible refers to as “sin.” “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” according to the Bible (Romans 3:23).

Death, which is spiritual separation from God, is the outcome of sin (Romans 6:23). The good news is that

Step 3 – God sent His Son to die for your sins!

The death of Jesus on the cross ensured that we may have a relationship with God and be with Him for all eternity. “God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,” says the Bible (Romans 5:8). However, it did not come to an end with His death on the cross. He has risen from the dead and continues to live! “Christ died on the cross for our sins. He was buried. His resurrection took place on the third day, in accordance with biblical guidelines (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me,” Jesus declared.

Step 4 – Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?

We cannot earn our salvation; rather, we are saved by God’s mercy through trust in His Son, Jesus Christ, when we believe in Him. Simply believing that you are a sinner and that Christ died for your sins, as well as asking for His forgiveness, is all that is required of you. Then turn away from your sins—this is referred to as repentance. Jesus Christ knows who you are and how much he loves you. What counts to Him is the attitude of your heart, as well as your sincere intentions. If you want to accept Christ as your Savior, we recommend that you pray the following prayer: “Dear God, I am well aware that I am a sinner, and I beg your pardon.

I believe that He died in my place because of my sin and that you resurrected Him from the dead.

Please direct my life and assist me in carrying out your instructions.

Amen.” Did you say the prayer that I asked you to say?

Why is Jesus Christ the Only Way of Salvation?

Kevin Lewis is a writer who lives in New York City. “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me,” Jesus Christ declared in the Gospel of John (John 14:6). According to the Apostles, there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved, and that there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind (Acts 4:12). “Christian Particularism” is the term used to describe this belief. Objection to this idea is sometimes expressed as “arrogant,” “prideful,” or “just plain unjust!”, among other things.

  • In order to have a different manner of salvation, a person must first modify their perception of what salvation is.
  • In such case, the techniques by which salvation is accomplished will mirror those misguided salvific objectives.
  • We should follow in Adam’s footsteps, as he did with God.
  • The conditions for re-establishing a broken friendship are simple to comprehend, but difficult for most people to put into practice.
  • The criteria for forgiveness are that the offending person repents, confesses his fault, and wishes to rebuild the connection with the aggrieved party in order to receive forgiveness.
  • When a sinner truly repents, confesses, and accepts the gift of forgiveness, the alienated parties are reunited and can walk together in righteous harmony once more.
  • One completely fictitious example may be of assistance.

So, what would be the best way for me to go back into a true state of e-harmony with my wife?

For me to be able to recover the relationship in any meaningful way, I must first recognize that what I did was wrong and then repent and confess the fault to my wife, ideally while holding symbols of my repentance in my hands, such as flowers and chocolates!

So, how does this connect to Jesus Christ being the only path to salvation?

In order to repair the damage done to our connection with the one true God, the person who has been wronged, God, must be prepared to accept the consequences of our sin.

Sinners, or those who have done wrong, must repent, confess, and put their faith in God’s provision of forgiveness.

This is what the Bible means by salvation.

Consider the following: They are nonsensical when compared to the biblical purposes of salvation and redemption.

Having a third party, such as a next-door neighbor, “carry the burden” of a crime, and then having the unrepentant man want forgiveness from his wife is as ludicrous as the opposite.

So, in spite of the numerous objections, because the goal of salvation is forgiveness and reconciliation with a personal God in order to have loving fellowship with him, the only scenario that makes any sense is for God incarnate, Jesus Christ, to bear our sin as a substitute, and for the sinner to repent and place their faith in him on his part.

This is supported by the Bible as well as good old common sense.

Only Way To Heaven?

FAQ: Those are compelling reasons in favor of Jesus, but why do Christians believe that Jesus is the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven? Jesus Himself declared Himself to be God, and others agreed that He was indeed God. As Jesus stated, “I am one with the Father” (John 10:30). “I and the Father, we are one,” the Greek text says in its direct translation. Jesus also said that He is the only way to reach God, saying, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) (John 14:6).

Because of this, the critical question is whether or not we can believe what Jesus asserted.

There are several eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ resurrection that have been collected over the years.

As a result of this, Jesus appeared to more than five hundred of his brothers all at once, the vast majority of them are still alive today.” It appears that this was a very early credo of the Christian religion, composed within a few years of the death of Jesus Christ, according to manuscript research.

  • That kind of remark would not have been included if the author was trying to conceal something such as a conspiracy, hoax, myth, or folklore.
  • The ultimate test of credibility for these eyewitnesses came in the form of the fact that many of them were martyred as a result of their testimony.
  • These individuals were aware of the reality.
  • The evidence speaks for itself; these weren’t just religious believers dying for their religious beliefs; these were followers of Jesus Christ dying for a historical event – His resurrection – which established Him as the Son of God and established Him as the Son of God.
  • Every human being has been separated from God as a result of sin.
  • Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only one who can fulfill this role.
  • He foresaw the sins that we would do before we were even created because of His divinity.

It’s for this reason that Jesus is the only route to God and paradise.

Jesus’ birth is commemorated on December 25th.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS?

God, the Father, sent His only Son to fulfill that judgment on behalf of all who place their faith in Him.

It is possible to be rescued from judgment and to spend forever with God in heaven if you sincerely believe and trust this in your heart, accepting Jesus alone as yourSavior, and announcing, “Jesus is Lord.” What is your reaction to this?

Yes, I have made the decision to follow Jesus as of today. Yes, I am already a disciple of Jesus Christ. I still have a lot of questions.

Jesus: The Only Way to Heaven

A famous symbol of the Jesus Movement throughout the 1960s and 1970s was the “One Way” sign, which consisted of one’s pointer finger lifted high. “One Way” bumper stickers and lapel pins could be found everywhere, and the slogan “One Way” quickly became the defining catchphrase of all evangelicalism for a period of time. That time period saw a tremendous amount of diversity within the Evangelical movement. (It was, in some respects, much more eclectic than it is today, in some ways.) From Jesus People, who were a vital part of that generation’s young culture, to straight-line fundamentalists, who loathed everything contemporary, it was a diverse group.

There appeared to be an unshakeable confidence shared by all evangelicals in the phrase “One Way.” However, this is no longer the case.

A number of evangelicals, even some who identify as such, are publicly asserting that faith alone in Jesus is not the sole way to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Those who do not believe in the exclusivity of the gospel are either cowardly or embarrassed to do so in an era where inclusion, diversity, and tolerance are thought to be the highest values by the secular world.

According to reports, the evangelical movement’s greatest concern today is that Christians will be perceived as being out of step with the rest of society.

Why has evangelicalism turned its back on something that believers previously unanimously believed was absolutely true?

Postmodernism is the term used to describe the prevalent viewpoint in secular and intellectual circles today.

In other words, what is “true” is determined by each individual on a subjective basis, and there is no such thing as objective, authoritative truth that regulates or applies to all of mankind at the same time.

Since reality is ultimately only a fabrication of the human mind, one person’s interpretation of truth is ultimately no more valid than another’s interpretation of truth.

The one important, non-negotiable demand postmodernism places on everyone is that we are not expected to believe we are in possession of any objective knowledge.

As a result, postmodernism appears to be motivated by a broad-minded desire for harmony and tolerance on the surface of things.

Postmodernism is based on a complete hatred for any worldview that asserts universal truth claims, notably biblical Christianity, and this is what essentially underpins the postmodernist belief system.

Some of them do it knowingly and purposefully, but the majority of them do it unintentionally.

When faced with a new and distinct foe, the evangelical movement as a whole is unprepared.

As a result, many Christians are still unaware of the grave risk that postmodernist ideology poses to their beliefs.

It is becoming more common for evangelicals to soften their message in order for gospel truth claims to not be as shocking to the postmodern ear as they used to be.

Some Christians have gone even further, willfully rejecting Christ’s exclusivity and publicly challenging His claim that He is the only way to God, despite the fact that they identify as Christians.

‘Jesus said,’ he said “I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one else can bring you to the Father but through Me ” (John 14:6).

“He who does not believe the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him,” wrote the apostle John (John 3:36).

“For there is only one God, and there is only one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,” the Bible says (1 Timothy 2:5).

“And this is the evidence: that God has provided us with everlasting life, and that this life is found in His Son, Jesus Christ.

Those realities are diametrically opposed to postmodernism’s basic concept of relativism.

That is exactly what the Bible teaches.

It is the central theme of Christian teaching.

Instead, many Christians just brush aside Christ’s exclusivity claims with a shrug of their shoulders in embarrassment.

It is impossible for Christians to submit to postmodernism without compromising the fundamental essence of their religious beliefs.

But, after all, it is exactly what the Bible says, and no one can dispute it.

What we think and proclaim to the rest of the world should be determined only by the Bible.

Tolerant Intolerance is a form of intolerance that is tolerated.

In reality, the postmodernist interpretation of “tolerance” that is promoted is a distorted and harmful distortion of the original virtue of tolerance.

In fact, when compared to the love that Christians are commanded to show even to their enemies, the contemporary concept of tolerance is a pitifully feeble concept.

29-36).

When the word was first used, it meant treating people with dignity and respect, even when we believe they are in the wrong.

Biblical tolerance is for people; postmodern tolerance is for ideas.

Traditional virtues (including humility, self-control, and chastity) are openly scorned, and even regarded as transgressions in the world of postmodernism.

In this age of tolerance, what was once forbidden is now encouraged.

Marital infidelity and divorce have been normalized.

Abortion, homosexuality, and moral perversions of all kinds are championed by large advocacy groups and enthusiastically promoted by the popular media.

Just about the only remaining taboo is the naïve and politically incorrect notion that another person’s alternative lifestyle, religion, or different perspective is wrong.

In fact, those who fancy themselves the leading advocates of tolerance today are often the most outspoken opponents of evangelical Christianity.

Why does authentic biblical Christianity find such ferocious opposition from people who think they are paragons of tolerance?

The Christian message represents a death blow to the postmodernist worldview.

We need to recover the distinctiveness of the gospel.

And we need to proclaim boldly that Christ is theonly true hope for the people of this world.

But it is true nonetheless.
