Why Is Jesus Christ Important In My Life

60 reasons why Jesus Christ is everything to me

  1. I don’t mean this in any way that the majority of people would comprehend. Rather than being a guilty soldier, a soldier who embarks on a mission that is almost guaranteed to result in death is a courageous soldier. Jesus remained true to his calling, even if it resulted in his execution
  2. Nonetheless, he was not culpable in the same way that Caiaphas and Pilate were.

Not in the sense of shame that the majority of people would comprehend. A soldier who embarks on a mission that is almost guaranteed to result in death is a courageous guy, not a coward. However, despite the fact that his vocation resulted in his death, Jesus was not culpable in the same way as Caiaphas and Pilate were.

Why Is Jesus Important? — POLISHED

Every day, I have a large list of things to accomplish. As a result, when you tell me something is essential, I snicker a little. I’m sure you can connect to what I’m saying. Young professional women are a b.u.s.y. bunch of jerks. You’ve come to our site because you’re interested in learning more about the person Jesus Christ, and I believe a good question to ask yourself is, “Why is Jesus important?” In the event that Jesus is not vital, we should go on to the next item on our to-do list. To be sure, Jesus is significant in general, as well as in your particular situation.

  • Just to mention a few things, Jesus claimed to be God (John 10:30).
  • Jesus is either a delusional individual who believed He was God, or He is a liar who realized He wasn’t God but continued to tell His followers that He was, or Jesus is correct and He is the Son of God.
  • It’s a shame, but the claims of Jesus that He is God cannot be taken as wise instruction from some form of prophet or moral leader since, if Jesus is not God as claimed, He would be a terrible prophet, as their vocation is to proclaim the truth.
  • What sort of moral instructor makes up stories about being God and forces thousands of people to put their lives in danger on His behalf for something that isn’t even true?
  • As a result of His ability to provide eyewitnesses to His miracles, I think that Jesus is precisely who He claimed to be in all of His assertions.
  • As a result, one of the reasons why Jesus is significant is as follows: Jesus is the Son of God.
  • You and I are both broken, and we live in a broken world that is broken as well.

Although we strive to be nice people and do good things, we will never be able to achieve perfection.

We are shattered, and the system is shattered as well.

If you are in any question about whether or not you are broken, speak with your previous roommate.

We are fortunate that God does not abandon us in our brokenness.

Jesus’ entire humanity was added to His Godhead as a result of His earthly ministry.

Jesus is the one who mends our brokenness.

When we embrace and trust this truth, we are cured by Jesus, and we may be assured that we will have an eternal life with God (Romans 10:9).

(See also John 14:6).

You should consider Jesus to be more essential as a result of this.

I’ll be honest with you: I’m just stressed out from all of the things that have happened this week.

However, if there is a hereafter and there is only one way to spend it with God, it is possible that you and I should be thinking more critically about the afterlife as a result.

There is an afterlife and there is only one way to go there, and that one route is through Jesus Christ, which means that Jesus is significant, and He is significant to you.

Young Women Lesson: Why Should Jesus Christ Be Central in My Life?

Post the following questions on your wall:

  • “Can you tell me who Jesus Christ is?” Questions such as “How do we know that He is still alive today?” and “What has He done for us?”

Then have the young ladies read ” The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles ” in silence to find solutions to these issues, and have a discussion about the answers they discovered together. As a result of Christ’s resurrection, death was defeated, allowing all to live again. As a result of Christ’s atonement, it is now possible for us to repent of our sins and return to God’s presence when we die. When we talk about the power of Christ, we frequently refer to these two great miracles: the conquering of physical death and the overcoming of spiritual death.

  • Christ’s power, on the other hand, does not merely benefit us once we die.
  • Nelson: Our Heavenly Father never meant for us to be left to fend for ourselves in the midst of a maze of personal concerns and social challenges.
  • And His Son, Jesus Christ, offered His life as a sacrifice for our sins.
  • — Russell M.
  • Instruct the young ladies to make a list of some of the problems, challenges, and temptations that they face in their own lives that God’s power may alleviate.
  1. After learning about Him, we decide to put our trust in Him and follow His instructions. Faith that moves us to action allows us to have greater access to God’s power
  2. We create holy promises and follow through on those covenants with great care. Our commitments connect us to Him and provide us with divine authority
  3. We must reach up to Him in confidence. Such a goal takes a lot of hard work and dedication. See, for example, Pres. Russell M. Nelson’s April 2017 sermon, Drawing the Power of Jesus Christ into Our Lives.

Share some instances from scripture and history of people who took the power of Jesus Christ into their lives, as well as your own personal experiences applying these concepts to your own life and circumstances. Inquire of your class members about what they may do to attract the power of Jesus Christ into their life by praying for them. Here are some historical and biblical stories that you might find useful:

Antoinette Brown: Power through Learning

The majority of Christians in 1840s America felt that women should remain silent, and the majority of schools and institutions did not accept women. The majority of churches did not allow women to deliver presentations, sermons, or speeches. She graduated from Oberlin Institution in 1848, which was the first college in America to educate women alongside men and the alma mater of Lorenzo Snow. Oberlin was the first college in America to educate women alongside men. A postgraduate program at the Divinity School of Oberlin was appealing to her.

She was permitted to attend but was not awarded a certificate upon completion of the program, a decision that would most certainly preclude her from utilizing her education to pursue a career in ministry, as the male students had done.

“I returned to study religion and gain knowledge,” Antoinette said.

Her stay at Oberlin Divinity School was described as follows: “I learned then to cast myself on the Lord in a way that I had never done before, and I learned to pray to him in a way that I had never prayed before.” I have learned to communicate with God in the same way that I would communicate with a friend, and I believe that having His compassion is all that I require.

See Brown, Antoinette, for further information.

Letters to Lucy Stone, written in June 1848 and July 1850, are preserved. Friends and Sisters: Letters between Lucy Stone and Antoinette Brown Blackwell, 1846-1893 (Women in American History), published by the University of Illinois Press in Urbana and Chicago in 1987 (Women in American History).

Bill Wilson: Choosing Faith and Taking Action

During Prohibition, Bill developed an addiction to alcoholic beverages. Because his alcoholism was endangering both his health and his livelihood, he sought treatment at a rehabilitation clinic, where he learned to see alcoholism not just as a temptation, but also as an illness that required medical attention and treatment. Bill is working at Wits End from his workstation. “In both cases, the data-medium-file attribute is set to 1 and the data-large-file attribute is set to 1. loading=”lazy” src=” alt=” src=” The size of the image is 258 pixels wide and 300 pixels high.” srcset=srcset=srcset “ssl=1 258 watts, ssl=1 768 watts, ssl=1 800 watts Sizes are as follows: (max-width: 258px) 100vw, 258px” data-recalc-dims=”1″> However, he found that medical therapy and knowledge on the science of addiction were insufficient to keep him from relapsing.

  1. Bill came to the conclusion that his friend’s success in quitting drinking must have been due to divine intervention.
  2. Obviously, this was not the case.
  3. “I meekly surrendered myself to God, as I understood Him at the time, and asked Him to do with me as He saw fit.
  4. I realized for the first time that I was nothing on my own, and that I was completely adrift without him.” The hospitalization helped him eventually give up drinking for good, and his religion inspired him to take action to assist other alcoholics in their recovery.
  5. They, in turn, may collaborate with others.
  6. It was especially important to collaborate with others, just as he had collaborated with me.
  7. And how appallingly accurate this is in the case of the alcoholic!
  8. He would almost certainly drink again if he did not work, and he would almost certainly die if he did not drink.

Bill Wilson passed away in 2005. See, for example, Bill Wilson’s Bill’s Story: Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and The 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Woman with an Issue of Blood: Diligently Reaching for Christ

In the Bible, we read of a lady who physically went close to Jesus in order to draw on his transforming power. Her bleeds had been caused by health issues over the previous 12 years. She had spent all of her money on doctors, but no one had been able to assist her, and the situation had only gotten worse. When Christ arrived in her town, he was instantly mobbed by throngs of people who had come to see him for themselves. “If I just touch his garments, I’ll be made well,” she reasoned to herself.

  • The blood had stopped, and she realized she had been cured.
  • While Jesus was strolling alongside the apostle Peter, Peter felt it was a hilarious question to pose in such a congested environment where everyone was bumping into one other.
  • She was shaking with fear.
  • “Daughter, I hope this finds you in good spirits,” Jesus said.
  • God’s strength will flow into your life when you expand spiritually beyond everything you have ever done before.” — Russell M.
  • To be clear, Jesus is not cited as declaring that virtue had been expelled from him in the King James Version of the Bible.

Why is Jesus Christ important in my life? — Jimmy and Shelly

Have you ever heard someone explain to you why Jesus died on the cross for our sins? If you’ve ever gone to church, it’s probable that you’ve heard a less-than-enthusiastic response along the lines of: “He paid for our sins and made it possible for us to be raised and go to paradise.” When it comes to the “Sunday school answers,” I’ve heard and spoken them a lot because I know they’re correct. However, when I’m apathetic, what comes out feels sort of sad in retrospect. I was thinking about this today as I met with four young guys who would most likely be doing a two-year mission for their church in the coming years.

  • As a result, we have difficulty expressing any genuine feeling that would make us appear weak, and we are wary of saying anything that might be regarded inappropriate according to the ‘standard’ that we sense in the room.
  • In light of this, what will happen to these young men when they decide to leave their friends, family, and home in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all mankind?
  • I seriously doubt it.
  • Nor in my parents’ lives, not in the lives of my church’s leaders, and certainly not in the lives of the whole human species.
  • What does He imply to me personally.
  • What are they truly talking about, or is this merely a memorized script that they’ve seen others do before?
  • Or did they simply sit and watch the movie?

I believe we should wet His feet with our own tears as a sign of respect.

After any number of black stains on our hearts, He continues to forgive and love us.

I believe we need to experience a little bit of the cross on Golgotha and a little bit of Gethsemane while also acknowledging that we did not put things right, that we did not relieve our burdens, that we did not atone for our sins.

In spite of the fact that we already know it and feel it like fire in our bones, we may still forget, and we must continue to work to “always preserve in recollection” what He means to us in our lives.

My relationship with him is everything to me.

I hope that one day we will be able to meet and that I will be able to communicate the holy ideas of my heart, which have been entrusted to me by a loving Father in Heaven, in an appropriate context.

Why is Jesus Christ Important in my life?

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was selected by the Father. His Atonement makes it possible for us to be resurrected, to repent, and to be forgiven, allowing us to be reunited with our heavenly Father in his presence. Jesus Christ, our Savior, not only saves us from our sins, but he also provides us with serenity and strength while we are going through a difficult moment. As a result, He serves as the ideal role model for us, and His teachings serve as the foundation for both pleasure in this life and eternal existence in a future world.

Curriculum The lesson in Come Follow Me has a link to it.

The following is a narrative about Elder Oaks from the book “Teachings of Jesus”: Several years ago, while attending a stake conference, I met a woman who shared her story of being urged to return to the church after many years out but being unable to come up with any compelling reasons to do so.

  1. “What has He done for me?” she said, and I was taken aback by her response.
  2. He is the Creator of all things.
  3. This is the most significant information on the face of the planet, and you may discover it for yourself, just as I have discovered it for myself.
  4. The path is paved with desire and obedience.
  5. For those who are willing to follow His teachings, He said, “If any man is willing to obey his will, he will know of the doctrine, whether it is of God, or if I speak of myself” (John 7:17).
  6. Elder Holland’s video, “The Living Christ,” explains what he means.

Who is Jesus and Why is He Important?

God is a spirit who cannot be seen. No one in the history of the world has ever seen him. Anyone, with the exception of Jesus. I’d want to use this opportunity to introduce you to Jesus. Today, we’re going to try to address the question, “Who is Jesus, and why is he so significant?” THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS, SO PLEASE BEWARE. You may read the full disclosure policy by clicking on the link provided above. During my early childhood, I was transported from the hospital to my new earthly residence in the back of a beat-up Ford Taurus.

  • But Jesus.
  • Before he could be born on our planet as a baby, he had to first leave his home in heaven.
  • However, it is a monumental undertaking.
  • But let’s take a step further back.
  • He left his regal throne and his previous existence in order to come to earth.
  • He made the decision to leave paradise and come here.

This is a fascinating individual. Someone who would choose to leave heaven in order to come to earth. That’s someone I’m interested in learning more about. Now, let’s take a look at the first characteristic of Jesus that reveals who he is and why he is so vital to us.

Who is Jesus and Why is He Important

No one has ever seen God, as I already stated. God is a spirit who cannot be seen. When Jesus arrived on earth, however, the individuals who encountered him were shown the unseen God. The Bible tells us that the fullness of God was delighted to live in him, and that he was happy with this (Colossians 1:19). That implies that all of God was contentedly present in all of Jesus. And he was seen by a lot of people. Speak with him. Eat with him if you can. With him, you may laugh and pray at the same time.

Who exactly is Jesus?

He also provided us with a magnificent representation of God’s visage as well as his heart when he arrived on earth.

Jesus isCreator

According to the Bible, Jesus, who came to earth as a little infant, was the one who CAUSED the beginning of time. Yes, this is correct! Everything that has ever been created (both in heaven and on earth) is a result of his efforts. That covers everything we can see. as well as everything we can’t see at all times. Take note, however, that not only were all of these incredible things made throughhim, but they were also created forhim. So, what is it about that rainbow that makes you feel so happy?

  • Those twinkling stars over your head that make you feel awestruck and inspired?
  • The elephant with the amusing trunk, the magnificent horse that can sprint and jump, the raging ocean.
  • Jesus created everything, and he adores everything.
  • Jesus is bathed in light, which reflects back onto him.
  • He is the ARTISAN.

Jesus is the Beginning.

According to the Bible, Jesus, who came to earth as a little child, was the one who CAUSED the beginning of time. You are correct. His creations (both in heaven and on earth) included everything that had ever been. That covers everything we can see, as well as everything we can’t see at all times. Take note, however, that not only were all of these incredible things createdthroughhim, but they were also createdforhim. The rainbow, you ask? Is it the one that brings you such joy? His enjoyment is heightened as a result of this.

  • His grin is enhanced by them as well.
  • Everything was created by Jesus, and he cherishes every aspect of creation.
  • In turn, Jesus is bathed in the reflected light.
  • He is the ARTISAN OF THE WORLD!

Savior and Redeemer

Jesus was the very beginning, he keeps everything spinning, and he was the container for all of God while he was on the earth. The vast majority of us are aware that he was crucified when he was only 33 years old. However, the most significant development is that he did not remain dead. He was raised from the dead. That’s not just big news, it’s good news. Our sin would continue to keep us separated from God if he had not died and risen from the dead. Our bodies, hearts, and minds become overburdened with sin, which causes us to become estranged from God.

When Jesus died on the cross, he brought about reconciliation between us and God.

It means to “restore friendly relations” or to “dwell in harmony” when you are reconciled. That’s really cool. It was through him that we were able to live in harmony with God once more, just as God was pleased to dwell fully in him while he was on the earth.

The Bottom Line

What exactly did Jesus do? He made it possible for us to be at peace with God via his sacrifice. If we put our confidence in Jesus, he will present us to God as holy and spotless individuals. This is the positive news about who he is and why he is essential to the people around him. This wonderful news gives us reason to be hopeful, as it guarantees us life and serenity. That’s who Jesus is, and that’s what Jesus has done (and continues to do) for us in the name of the Father. Now that I’ve introduced him, I’d like to pose the following question: What does Jesus mean to you?

  • When Jesus was on earth, he stated that he is the only way to reach God.
  • Do you have any idea why you’re here?
  • CS Lewis famously asked this topic in his bookMere Christianity, which is still in print today.
  • Which option do you prefer?

Having relationship with Jesus Christ is vital

At the age of roughly thirteen, I received an essential lesson from my father that has helped to create the person I am today. In the kitchen, he asked me a simple question: “What is the most important connection you should have in your life?” We were both thinking about it. After a few minutes of deliberation, I said, “The one I will have with my future wife.” My father’s remark took me completely by surprise. He informed me that, while the connection I would have with my future bride is essential, the most important relationship I will have is the one I will have with Christ.

  • That lesson has stayed with me to this day.
  • In fact, Jesus Christ himself stated, “Do not let your heart be troubled: ye who trust in God must also believe in me.
  • The Lord has instructed us not to be concerned, but rather to put our trust in Him.
  • Our heavenly Father loves us and longs for all of his children to return to him and dwell with him once more.
  • When it comes to our interpersonal relationships, the Lord taught that the first and greatest commandment is to love one another “Love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, soul, mind, and strength, as the Scriptures say.

There is no other commandment that is more important than these.” (Mark 12:30-31, King James Version) In living my life according to these principles – believing in God and his son, Jesus Christ; placing my confidence in the Lord; attempting to love my neighbors; and sharing my faith in Christ – I have experienced great blessings in my life.

  1. We discussed a wide range of topics, including religion (I was not of her faith), and as we separated, she requested if she may say a prayer for us before we left.
  2. Let us continue to believe in Jesus Christ, trust in God, and act in faith with charity toward our neighbors in honor of those who have taken on the name of Christ, may we all be blessed.
  3. Thank you, father, for instilling in me the belief that my life will be fortunate as a result of my connection with Jesus Christ.
  4. Those with questions or concerns should address them to editor Lucy Luginbill, who may be reached at the Tri-City Herald newsroom at 333 W.

Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ important?

QuestionAnswer There are various reasons why the resurrection of Jesus is significant. In the first place, the resurrection serves as a testament to the great power of God Himself. Believing in the resurrection is the same as believing in God. The existence of God, and the fact that He created the universe and has authority over it, implies that He has the ability to revive the dead. If He does not possess such authority, He is not deserving of our faith and reverence. According to 1 Corinthians 15:54–55, only He who created life has the power to raise it after death, only He has the power to reverse the hideousness that is death itself, and only He has the power to remove its sting and win the triumph over the grave.

  • Additionally, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is significant because it confirms that Jesus is who he claimed to be, namely, theSon of God and the Messiah.
  • The resurrection of Jesus Christ, which was witnessed by hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:3–8), gives unmistakable evidence that He is the Savior of the world and that He is the Son of God.
  • Throughout the Scriptures, it is said that God’s “Holy One” would never be corrupted (Psalm 16:10), and Jesus was never corrupted, even after His death (see Acts 13:32–37).
  • Furthermore, Christ’s resurrection confirmed His own statements, which were that He would be risen on the third day (Mark 8:31; 9:31; 10:34).
  • In truth, we have no Savior, no salvation, and no hope of everlasting life unless and until Christ is raised from the dead through the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • According to John 11:25, Jesus declared, “I am the resurrection and the life,” claiming to be the source of both the resurrection and the life.
  • Jesus does more than just provide life; He is life itself, and as a result, death has no control over Him at all.

We who believe in Jesus Christ will personally experience resurrection because, through the life Jesus provides, we have triumphed over death and are no longer bound by it.

In the New Testament, Jesus is referred to be “the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep” (1 Corinthians 15:20).

According to the Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is significant because it serves as a witness to the resurrection of human people, which is a fundamental belief.

Every other religion was formed by men or prophets, and their ultimate destination was the tomb.

The grave was unable to contain Him.

The Word of God promises the resurrection of the believer at the second coming of Jesus Christ for His church, which occurs during the rapture.

“Where has your sting gone, O Death?” (See Hosea 13:14 for further information.) Because of the significance of Christ’s resurrection, it has an influence on our current service to the Lord.

You should always give your all to the Lord’s work because you know that your toil in the Lord will not be in vain” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

A thousand Christian martyrs have given their lives in exchange for everlasting life and the hope of resurrection because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ throughout history.

According to the Scriptures, Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4).

According to 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, the dead in Christ will be raised up, and those who are alive at the time of His return will be transformed and given new, glorified bodies.

It demonstrates who Jesus is.

It demonstrates that God possesses the ability to revive us from the grave.

It ensures that the bodies of people who place their faith in Christ will not perish but will be raised to eternal life in the presence of the Lord. Questions regarding Salvation (return to top of page) What is the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

why is jesus christ important in my life – The Blue Monkey Restaurant & Pizzeria

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, was selected by the Father. His Atonement makes it possible for us to be resurrected, as well as for us to repent and be pardoned, allowing us to return to the presence of our heavenly Father. In addition to redeeming us from our sins, Jesus Christ, our Savior, provides us with serenity and strength while we are going through a difficult moment.

Why is Jesus important in our lives?

In our lives, Jesus is significant because, through His Atonement and teachings and by the assurance of hope, peace, and example that He provides, He assists us in changing our lives, confronting our hardships, and moving ahead in faith as we travel back toward Him and His Father.

Who is Jesus and why is it important?

Christian religious leader Jesus (born c. 6–4 bce in Bethlehem; died c. 30 ce in Jerusalem), also known as Jesus Christ, Jesus of Galilee, or Jesus of Nazareth (born c. 6–4 bce in Bethlehem; died c. 30 ce in Jerusalem), was one of the world’s great faiths. The majority of Christians believe that he is the Incarnation of God.

What does Jesus mean to me?

He was, in my opinion, one of the best instructors the world has ever known. He was considered to be God’s only begotten son by His followers. In other words, my perspective is that the secret to Jesus’ closeness to God can be found in His own life; that He was able to represent the spirit and will of God in a way that no other could.

Who is Jesus for you reflection?

He is both God and Saviour in the eyes of Christians. His coming in human flesh, who lived a spotless life but died a sinner’s death, all in order for you and me to be spared punishment and live in peace as members of God’s family, is the one who has come to save us from our sins.

How do you see Jesus in your life?

Examine the testimonials of people who have experienced the presence of Jesus in their lives, and consider your own. In order to findJesus as a new believer, you must first acknowledge that you are a sinner, then repent of your sins, and then forsake your sins. Following the completion of these stages, you become a member of God’s family.

What is the most important thing in life according to the Bible?

“Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind,” Jesus said.

This is the very first and most important commandment. “Love your neighbor as yourself,” says the second, which is similar to the first. “These two commandments are the foundation of all of the Law and the Prophets.”

How would you describe Jesus?

“Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind,” Jesus said.
