What The Blood Of Jesus Does

30 Things the Blood of Jesus Does – 30 Scripture Verses

It is only through the blood of Jesus that I may find a solution to my greatest dilemma. As a result of my birth into a fallen planet, I have accepted my fate as a participant in a degenerate existence with little prospect of rehabilitation. The agony of sin and death quickly attached itself to me and set in action the ravages of death, bringing me one step closer to my final and irreversible doom with each passing day. Even my own will, if it were to be divorced from God, would be held by my greatest adversary, who would use it to spread deception and seal my own doom.

God, on the other hand, revealed His own love for me by sending Christ to die for me when I was still a sinner (Romans 5:8).

I am no longer under the curse of the law

According to the riches of His mercy, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, and eternal life in Him.” (See also Ephesians 1:7)

I have been declared righteous

“For He caused Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we could become the righteousness of God,” the Bible says. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that

I have been justified (just as though I had never sinned)

“by His grace, by the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put out as a propitiation through His blood, through faith, to display His righteousness, since in His patience God had passed over the sins that had previously been committed.” (3:24–25) (Romans 3:24–25)

I am able to come close to God

As the Bible says: “But now, by the blood of Christ, you who were once a long way off have been brought close.” Paul writes in Ephesians 2:13 that

I can participate in the sweet communion of remembrance of His sacrifice

“Similarly, after supper, He took the cup and said, “This cup represents the new covenant in My blood, which has been spilt for you.”” (See also Luke 22:20)

My redemption will never perish

“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible goods, such as money or gold, from your aimless behavior that was handed down to you by your forefathers, but with the valuable blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish or spot.” (See 1 Peter 1:18-19 for further information).

Jesus testifies on my behalf that I am clean

“.as well as from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over all the kings of the earth.” In honor of the One who has loved us and washed us clean from our sins in His own blood, and who has elevated us to the status of kings [as well as priests] before His God and Father, to Him be praise and dominion for all time. Amen.” (See Revelation 1:5 for more information.)

I am freed from a conscience defiled by guilt

We must approach with a real heart and full confidence of faith, with our hearts purged from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water, as the Apostle Paul writes. (See also Hebrews 10:22.)

I am no longer condemned

Consequently, those who are in Christ Jesus and do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit, are no longer under condemnation. The Bible says in Romans 8:1 that

I have been separated from the world and declared holy (wholly) to God

It is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in my flesh is based on my faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” Paul writes in Galatians 2:20 that

I can proclaim total victory

“And they conquered him with the blood of the Lamb, and through the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the point of death.” (See Revelation 12:11 for further information.)

I can enter boldly into the holiest of holies…and live

For this reason, brethren, having confidence to enter the Most Holy Place through the veil, which represents His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (See also Hebrews 10:19-22.)

I have further revelation of who God is

As the “radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His person, and supporting all things by the word of His authority, when He had by Himself cleansed our sins, he sat down at the right hand of His Majesty on high.” (See also Hebrews 1:3)

The Power and Importance in the Blood of Jesus

Blood may be seen throughout the Bible, but what does Christ’s blood represent to us is less clear. When we arrive in the country, thou shalt fasten this string of crimson thread to the window through which thou let us in by. As for anybody who comes into your home and is with you, his blood will be on our heads if any hand is placed upon him. Joshua 2:18-19 (NASB) She was a prostitute in the city of Jericho, and the lady addressed in this chapter was named Rahab. Because of her city’s location, when the Israelites took possession of the country, she was doomed to be destroyed along with it.

This rope symbolized the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it pointed to the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, who was crucified on the cross.

The Prophesy of the Blood of Jesus

He or she is disclosed from the very beginning of recorded human history. When Adam and Eve sinned, God shed innocent blood in order to provide them with clothing made of animal skins to cover their nakedness (Genesis 3:21). This is a representation of the covering of righteousness that we get as a result of the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on our behalf. In Genesis 4, we learn that Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Abel, who were separated at birth. They were driven by an instinctual need to worship God.

  1. The fact that God wanted blood had previously been understood by Abel, who thus brought a lamb.
  2. Why?
  3. (Hebrews 9:22).
  4. Just as Abraham was about to thrust the knife into the throbbing heart of his son, an angel intervened and prevented the attack.
  5. Isaac was set free, but in the process, the blood of an innocent animal was shed.
  6. God gave each household the instruction to slaughter a lamb and place the blood on their door on the night of the Passover.
  7. Finally, on the cross, the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins.
  8. Revelation 13:8advertises that He was killed before the foundations of the earth were laid.

He came to die; He planned to die; He lived to die; and He was born to die. He came to die because he wanted to die. As we’ve seen, the blood of Jesus is referenced throughout the Bible. What is the significance of the Blood of Jesus for us today?

The Power of the Blood of Jesus

His blood is the only thing that can save us. There was a price against us that we were unable to pay, but the blood of Jesus paid the price for our redemption. 1 Peter 1:18-19 reads, “Forasmuch as you are aware that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, do not be deceived.” Rather, with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or stain.” His blood is the means by which we are brought into communion with God. Ephesians 2:13, “But now in Christ Jesus, you who were sometimes afar off are brought near by the blood of Christ,” says the Bible.

  1. God is reconciled as a result of his blood.
  2. “And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself,” the Bible states in Colossians 1:20.
  3. Not only does it erase the punishment for sin, but it also removes pollutants from the environment.
  4. His blood grants him authority over the demon.
  5. “And they defeated him with the blood of the Lamb,” according to Revelation 12:11.
  6. He despises it!
  7. What a joy it is to follow the red thread of Christ’s blood as it weaves its way across the pages of Scripture!
  8. God is to be praised for the blood of His Lamb!

The Power of The Blood of Jesus – What you need to know

This is something I can’t believe I’m saying, but unfortunately it’s true: people have forgotten about the power of the blood of Jesus. It’s not something you hear people shouting about anymore. Only a few handful are capable of doing so. How could something that is so vital to us as Christians be completely ignored? We have substituted the message of the victorious blood of Jesus with “feel good” sermons that are devoid of substance. Because the devil doesn’t want people to know about the blood that destroyed him at Calvary and put him helpless, he must be behind all of this.

And it was by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony that they were victorious over him.

We are living in difficult times, and you do not need to waste your time listening to nonsense speeches. You are in desperate need of the truth and power of the gospel.

Why is the Blood of Jesus important?

Because you are aware that God paid a price to redeem you from the meaningless existence you inherited from your ancestors, you are grateful. And it wasn’t paid in gold or silver, which quickly lose their worth as the metals age. It was the precious blood of Christ, the blameless and spotless Lamb of God, that was spilled on the cross. 1 Peter 1:18-19 (English Version) Your sin, and the sin of the entire world, was paid for by the blood of Jesus on the cross. Because of his sacrifice, you have been cleansed of the sin that has tarnished your life and kept you estranged from God and on your road to damnation.

Charles Spurgeon was a British clergyman who lived in the 18th century.

That was the amount of money that you were required to pay.

Now that our future is better, now that we are referred to as God’s children, we may be confident that heaven, rather than hell, will be our final resting place.

Understanding the power of the blood of Jesus

Because if Jesus’s parents had been Mary and Joseph, His blood would have been just like yours, and His death would not have occurred. However, this was not the case with Jesus, as Joseph was not His biological father. “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you,” the angel said. As a result, the holy One who is about to be born will be addressed as the Son of God. 1:35 (Luke 1:35) (NIV) Jesus’ blood not only included the human aspect of His mother Mary, but it also contained the power of His heavenly Father, who was present in it.

  • In the womb of the Virgin Mary, God and man became one being.
  • That is the secret of the Blood of Jesus’s transforming ability.
  • In Leviticus 17:11, it was established that the blood contained the life of the flesh and that only the blood could atone (make recompense) for the soul’s transgression.
  • I don’t believe there are enough lambs in the world to pay the price for the annihilation of the whole human species.
  • “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” exclaimed John the next day as he saw Jesus approaching him.

John 1:29 (NIV) (NKJV) When God gave the lamb, He was also the Lamb of God who had already been sacrificed before the beginning of the world. Unlike ordinary blood, his was holy and strong enough to atone for the sins of the whole human species, both past and present.

2. The blood of Jesus has the power to wash away all sin

We have fellowship with one another if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, purifies us from every sin. 1 John 1:7 (New International Version) Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke (one of my faves) provided the following illustration of the power of Jesus’ blood, which I believe wonderfully illustrates the significance of Jesus’ blood: “If you are dirty and you have soap, you will not be clean until you reach out and apply the soap to your skin and wash your body with it,” says the author.

It is not sufficient to just sing about it.

You must apply it to your wicked life in order to be cleansed of your sins.” Reinhard Bonnke is a German writer and poet.

How do you wash or cover yourself or with the blood of Jesus?

In contrast, if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, purifies us from all sin. 7th chapter of 1 John My favorite evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke, offered the following illustration regarding the blood of Christ, which I believe wonderfully captures the significance of Jesus’ blood: “If you are dirty and you have soap, you will not be clean until you reach out and apply the soap to your skin and wash your body with it,” explains the author.

Singing about it is not sufficient.

You must apply it to your wicked life in order for it to wipe away your sins.” Dr.

3. The Blood of Jesus has the power to make you free

Do you battle with addictions, bonds, sin, burdens, oppressions, or torments? Do you feel trapped by your circumstances? I have some exciting news for you! The blood of Jesus has the ability to set you free from your prison of sin. His blood has equipped you with everything you will ever need, including deliverance, which is one of those things. Don’t allow the devil to afflict you; instead, tell Him that you have been cleansed in the blood of Jesus Christ. Always remember that the Bible states that we will defeat the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the testimony of our lives.

The Blood of Jesus serves as a constant reminder to the devil that he has been conquered.

Every advantage and blessing we have received as a result of our redemption, including complete and absolute victory over Satan, is founded on Jesus and His victory over Satan on the cross, which we celebrate on this day.

Dr.

4. The Blood of Jesus marks you

Do you recall the narrative of Egypt and the ten plagues that occurred there? First-born children were among those who died as a result of one of these plagues. When God directed the children of Israel to mark their homes with the blood of a lamb, they obeyed him completely. When the angel of death went about killing the first-born children of Egypt that night, he did not go through the homes of the children of Israel because their dwellings had been designated by the children of Israel. That mark of blood on the doorposts of their homes was more than just a smear of blood.

The blood had left its imprint on them.

The devil can see the blood splattered on the ground everywhere you walk.

Everywhere you walk, God’s blessings are upon you, His favor is upon you, His grace is upon you, and His angels are protecting you from harm. You are much more than a person. Jesus’ precious blood has designated you as a child of Almighty God, and you are marked as such!

Now that you know the significance of the blood of Jesus…

You shouldn’t take anything for granted, in my opinion. Keep it safe and learn everything you can about it. There are many good books and lessons on the subject; here are a handful of examples: The Blood Covenant is a novel written by E W Kenyon. Billie Brim’s novel The Blood and the Glory is set in the American Civil War. Don’t forget to spread the word about this content. The blood of Jesus is exactly what this world is in desperate need of right now.

The Power of the Blood of Jesus

You shouldn’t take anything for granted, I hope. It should be treasured and further researched. This subject is covered in great detail in several books and courses. Here are a number of recommendations: By E. W. Now, more than ever, the blood of Jesus is what this world desperately needs to be cleansed of sin.

Redemption Through the Blood of Jesus

You’re probably familiar with the story. Satan appeared to Adam’s wife, Eve, in the appearance of a snake, and successfully tricked her into breaking God’s commands. Instead of following God, Adam followed Satan’s instructions and performed what he was taught to do. When he accomplished this, he effectively elevated Satan to the position of lord. With his kneeling before Satan, Adam relinquished the authority that God had placed in his hands. He elevated Satan to the position of illegitimate ruler of the earth.

  • Death was brought upon all men by a single transgression (Romans 5:12).
  • It appears to be unfixable, doesn’t it?
  • His plan for Redemption was the same as it had been for Abel, Moses, and Noah: it would be accomplished via the spilt blood of human beings.
  • A redemption of this magnitude necessitated a much greater sacrifice: the shed blood of His only Son, Jesus Christ.
  • As soon as you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, God will forget about whatever past sin you have committed in your life.
  • What’s the best part?
  • In reality, even if you tried, you would not be able to earn it.
  • In addition to redeeming us from sin, the blood of Jesus also freed us from the curse of the law, allowing THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM to come upon us through Christ (Galatians 3:13).
  • Death, sin, sickness, disease, poverty, lack, sadness, and everything else that is evil can be attributed to the curse.

Because of Adam’s treachery, Satan was given dominion over the lives of mankind. However, because of the power of Jesus’ blood, the instant you confessed Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, you were redeemed from the curse and Satan was forced to close his doors for good.

Fellowship With God Through the Blood of Jesus

Probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think about fellowship is time spent over coffee at a Bible study or time spent enjoying the company of friends. Fellowship is a sense of belonging—it is a friendship. That is the relationship we share with God, yet it was purchased at a cost. Prior to his fall in the Garden of Eden, Adam had had a close connection and fellowship with the Almighty. In the aftermath of Adam’s fall, sin separated us from this wonderful communion, which could only be reestablished by the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

  1. You have the ability to enter the presence of God with confidence because of the power of Jesus’ blood.
  2. Communion is a term used to refer to fellowship.
  3. “Do this in remembrance of me,” Jesus said (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
  4. You are a friend of God, according to John 15:15!

Healing Through the Blood of Jesus

Do you have a healing vision in mind when you receive communion? “Thank God, we have been delivered from sin,” the vast majority of Christians say when they see the symbol of the blood, and they are correct. God be praised for it! However, according to Isaiah 53:4-5, Jesus’ sacrifice was sufficient to satisfy the needs of every aspect of man’s existence. He suffered spiritual torment as a result of our sins, mental anguish as a result of our worry, concern, sorrow, and fear, as well as physical pain as a result of our illness and disease.

  1. We are healed as a result of His stripes.
  2. The fact that we are only receiving a portion of His sacrifice is an insult to Him (see this prophecy by Kenneth Copeland).
  3. Don’t just accept something and apply it half-heartedly.
  4. You will be deprived of the full power of the blood if you do not comprehend and accept its full meaning.

Protection Through the Blood of Jesus

After nine horrific plagues, Pharaoh still refused to let God’s people leave Egypt, as recorded in the book of Exodus. As a result, God unleashed a last plague, a plague of judgment, to “smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt,” as the Bible says (Exodus 12:12). As the sons of Adam, Satan was well aware that the children of Israel had breached their covenant with God and were thus subject to judgment as well. God could protect them, but “not without blood,” as the saying goes. They had established a covenant connection with God via Abraham, but they needed to demonstrate their commitment to that bond.

  1. Consequently, God directed them to take the blood of a lamb and paint it on the doorposts of their homes.
  2. It was the blood of a lamb, was it not, that prevented them from being slaughtered?
  3. Because Jesus was murdered from the foundation of the world, it was His blood that was spilled on the cross (Revelation 13:8,KJV).
  4. When Lyndsey was admitted to the hospital with the condition, the Copelands were forced to make a choice.
  5. Refusing to be intimidated, the family came together to pray for Lyndsey’s healing, applying the blood of Jesus to her and sharing in Communion.
  6. “We had been pleading the blood of Jesus over our family on a consistent basis for a number of years,” Kellie later explained of the circumstance.
  7. The blood of the Lamb is inexhaustible and never-ending.” “The blood of the Lamb is inexhaustible and never-ending,” I said as I walked down the corridor.
  8. Whenever we apply the blood of Jesus to the doorposts of our lives with faith, we get access to the strength necessary to battle every aspect of the curse that attempts to take up residence in our lives.

Authority Over the Devil Through the Blood of Jesus

There is someone who understands, maybe even better than you do, the power and authority that has been bestowed upon you by the blood of Jesus. He would go to great lengths to ensure that you never find out. He will make every effort to keep you occupied, send people or ideas to confuse you, and sow seeds of doubt in your mind so you will be unable to function in your own right. You may probably tell who it is based on this description: it’s the devil. When it comes to finding out the truth, there is only one person who stands to gain from it: him.

  1. What you’re going to do will put him right under your feet, where he should be!
  2. Chip Brim, the son of Billye Brim, once related a tale about a gathering he had preached at which a young girl who was a witch doctor and demon-possessed was in attendance, and he thought it was hilarious.
  3. However, they continued to pray and pray, and she continued to physically assault them, while the devil within her was spewing falsehoods and torturing others in the room.
  4. “I plead the blood!” he screamed from within his spirit at that very instant.
  5. “Not the blood!” says the author.
  6. She was set free—delivered—within 15 minutes of being released.
  7. Of course, the curse is still active in some form or another.

In the Name of Jesus, you have power over whatever it is, and you have the ability to stand against it because of the blood of Jesus.

“The blood that Jesus bled for you and me has incredible, tremendous power,” says Gloria Copeland.

Our only line of defense is blood.

Satan is expelled from our life and the lives of our family as a result of the blood of Jesus.

It is through faith that big accomplishments are achieved.” —Andrew Murray et al.

3 Problems Only the Blood of Jesus Can Solve

In previous blogs, we examined how believers in Jesus Christ may be completely confident that they are saved and that they would never abandon their faith. When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior, we were forgiven of our sins and cleansed of our transgressions. However, even though our salvation is everlasting, we continue to commit sins even after we have been rescued. In numerous occasions during our everyday lives, we disobey God or fail to meet His expectations. According to the Bible’s 1 John 1:8 (which was addressed to Christians), “If we declare that we do not have sin, we are misleading ourselves, and the truth does not dwell within us.” As a result of our sin, three difficulties arise, involving three different parties: God, ourselves, and Satan.

1. We’re separated from God

What happens between ourselves and God when we sin is described in Isaiah 59:1-2: “No, Jehovah’s hand is not so short that it cannot save, nor is His ear so heavy that it cannot hear. However, your crimes have caused a rift between you and your God, and your transgressions have obscured His face from you, making it impossible for Him to hear you.” Because God is holy and utterly just, our sins separate us from Him and separate us from one another. It does not take committing a severe crime to for us to be separated from God; even uttering a small untruth can establish a barrier between us and our Creator.

Solution: The blood of Jesus cleanses us from every sin

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son washes us from all sin.,” 1 John 1:7 and 9 declare. In the event that we repent of our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” By the blood of Jesus, we can be forgiven and cleansed of all of our sins forever. This eliminates the barrier that exists between ourselves and God. Nonetheless, we should take heed of the fact that, prior to receiving forgiveness, we must first confess our sins to God (see Matthew 18:15-17).

  • 7).
  • 1:13), which informs us that He would forgive us our sins because of Christ (Acts 10:43); and the blood of Christ has satisfied His just requirements in order that He can forgive us our sins (Eph.
  • (Matt.
  • Because He must be loyal to His word and righteous in the blood of Jesus, He forgives us if we confess our sins in accordance with His word and on the basis of the redemption accomplished through the blood of Jesus.
  • However, it is not our sentiments that determine whether or not we are forgiven; rather, it is the blood of Jesus that determines our forgiveness.

According to the Bible, if we confess our sins to God, we are forgiven and have the right to come openly before Him to seek His forgiveness and healing. The barrier between us and Him has been broken, and we may once again enjoy communion with Him.

2. We have guilt in our conscience

Another major issue brought about by sin is the inward feeling of guilt we experience. Despite the fact that God is pleased with the blood of Jesus as payment for our sins, we may still be plagued with feelings of guilt. Because the crimes we commit leave a stain on our conscience, we must confess them. Our tarnished conscience is the source of our feelings of guilt. Having a guilty conscience is a significant subject that requires careful consideration. We are all familiar with the debilitating effects that a guilty conscience can have on us.

Solution: The blood of Christ purifies our conscience

However, the solution to this difficulty is found in the Word of God. It is said in Hebrews 9:14 that the only cure for a guilty conscience is found: “How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit gave Himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead deeds so that we may serve the living God?” The same blood that we must shed in order for God to forgive us also cleanses our conscience and removes the stain of sin from our souls.

Jesus Christ’s shed blood has incredible power!

“Thank You, Lord Jesus, for by Your blood, I have been pardoned and cleansed,” we might say in prayer.

God, thank You for washing away all of my sins via the sacrificial blood of Jesus.” The more we rely on God’s Word rather than our emotions, the more certain we may be that the stain on our conscience will be removed from our lives.

3. We’re accused by Satan

Having dealt with our sins before God, we may meet another issue: an interior feeling of guilt about our transgressions. This is a problem that we must deal with. This allegation has the potential to become like a big cloud hovering over our heads, depriving us of all sense of calm. Despite the fact that we understand we have been forgiven by God and that our conscience has been cleansed, we may nevertheless be plagued by the lingering accusation and continue to hold ourselves responsible for what we have accomplished.

  1. The charges, on the other hand, will not be dispelled no matter how many times we confess the same fault to God.
  2. It’s critical to understand where these charges are coming from before responding.
  3. We’ve seen that God’s faithfulness and righteousness obligate Him to forgive us when we confess our sins to Him.
  4. It is by the blood of Jesus that we are cleansed from our sin-tainted conscience.
  5. They are said to have originated with Satan, according to the Bible.
  6. Satan is God’s adversary as well as our accuser.

His purpose is to make us feel weak and perhaps paralyzed. He wishes to deprive us of our pleasure of the Lord and all that He has done for us in the past. Accusing him of wrongdoing will cause our communion with God to be hampered, and we will suffer a significant setback in our spiritual life.

Solution: We overcome Satan because of the blood of Jesus

But, according to Revelation 12:11, we may deal with Satan’s charges in the following way: “And they defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb.” The following is the second note on this passage in the New Testament Recovery Version, which is instructive: “The blood of the Lamb, which is shed for our redemption, answers all of the accusations leveled against us by the devil before God and grants us the triumph over him.” (Hebrews 10:22) We must use this blood anytime we feel the accusation of the devil,” says the pastor.

  • The only way to be forgiven and cleansed of the stain of sin is for us to come before the Lord and confess our sins to him.
  • Satan’s charges must be met with a resounding “NO!” and the entire efficacy of Jesus’ blood must be declared to him in response.
  • In order to avoid falling prey to Satan’s charges, we must vigorously reject them.
  • God has been satisfied by Christ’s redeeming blood, my conscience has been cleansed by His cleaning blood, and you have been vanquished by Christ’s overpowering blood!”

Experiencing the blood of Jesus

Our Christian walk will be transformed as a result of our faith in and experience of the efficacy of Jesus’ blood. Our separation from God, plagued by shame, and tortured by Satan’s charges do not have to last forever. To be forgiven and cleaned by the blood of Jesus, we must confess our sins, believe that God has forgiven us and cleansed our conscience of the stain of our sin, and even proclaim to Satan that we have been forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Jesus Christ’s shed blood is extremely valuable!

The Power of the Blood

There is no other gift that God has given us that is more valuable than the blood of Jesus Christ. Many Christians, on the other hand, do not completely appreciate the significance of the blood. It becomes worse since many churches – even whole denominations – have ceased teaching and singing about the blood and its power as a result of this. What are your thoughts? Do you have a grasp of the significance of blood in your life? The Blood of Great Strength When the blood of Jesus is applied, the Bible informs us that it does a variety of amazing things.

  • Because “almost everything” must be washed with blood, and forgiveness is impossible without the spilt blood of others, “the law mandates that nearly everything be cleansed with blood.” (Hebrews 9:22, New International Version) It breathes life into you.
  • (See also John 6:53) It helps you to feel closer to God.
  • What is more, the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit gave Himself without stain to God, will purify your conscience from dead deeds in order that you may serve the live God.
  • “Therefore, brothers and sisters, having confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus.” (Hebrews 10:19)Certifies your status.
  • The Bible says (1 John 1:7) Heal yourself.
  • (1 Peter 2:24, New International Version) It gives you the ability to overcome the devil and his deeds.
  • (Revelation 12:11, New International Version) It is necessary to have blood.

David was referring to the “incorruptible” blood im the Bible.

“The life of the flesh is in the blood,” we’re informed in Leviticus 17:11, according to the Bible.

Your natural blood provides oxygen and nourishment to every cell in your body, allowing you to live a healthy life.

Any portion of your life that is cut off from the blood of Jesus is dead or dying spiritually, according to this definition.

Similarly to the Pharisees in Matthew 23:27, your spiritual existence would be polluted with dirt if Jesus’ blood had not been shed on your behalf.

God also provided your body with white blood cells, which are responsible for fighting disease.

It is possible to be disease-free when your natural blood is in good condition, and it is possible to be spiritually healthy when there is nothing the adversary can bring against you that the blood of Jesus will not be sufficient to defeat.

She wept and splattered blood Jesus remarked, as He lifted the cup of wine to his lips during the Last Supper, “.This cup represents the new covenant in My blood, which has been spilt for you” (Luke 22:20).

However, most Christians are only aware of the blood that has been shed, not the blood that has been administered.

The blood was to be sprinkled on the lintel and side posts of their front doors after that.

Everyone whose doorposts did not have any blood on them lost their firstborn; those whose doorposts did have blood were spared.

They would have gotten nothing out of killing the lamb.

God Takes a Look at the Blood We must remember that God’s protection was not contingent on the enthusiasm of the Israelites or the good deeds of the people of Israel.

God was only concerned with the blood at the time, and He is still only concerned with the blood!

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood,” says the Bible’s Leviticus 17:11, “and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.” We may read more about this in Leviticus 17:12.

Despite the fact that there is nothing anybody can do to atone for their crimes, many people continue to strive to make amends for the wrongs they have committed.

One of the most important passages in 1 John 1:7-9 is that “If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son purifies us from all sin.” It is deception on our part to claim that we are without sin, and the truth is not inside us.

We are helpless in the face of the devil and his deeds unless we are protected by the blood of Jesus.

The possession of high moral standards and a strong spiritual life is a positive trait.

God is still looking at the blood when it comes to your forgiveness and cleansing, your healing, protection, and deliverance.

It has already been shed for you, but it only becomes effective in your life when you put it into practice.

Under the terms of the new covenant, we apply the blood of Jesus to our lives through our words.

When you declare, “the blood of Jesus was shed on the cross for me,” you are applying the blood of Jesus to your situation.

You may utilize it to safeguard your home and your family (Exodus 12:13).

You have the ability to apply the blood to everything over which you have power or influence.

Take heart in knowing that Jesus’ death and resurrection have no expiration date and that the blood of Jesus can only be effective when it is applied.

The blood of Jesus Christ possesses tremendous power! In the absence of specific instructions, all verses are taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.
