• We already know that animals will not be eating one another throughout the millenium (Isaiah 11:6 – 9).
• Even though God has given us control over animals and has permitted us to consume their flesh, we should not treat them cruelly.

After everything is said and done, the Bible does teach that humans can consume meat if they so want (Deuteronomy 12:20).

Where the Diety Question of Dietary Laws Regarding Meat Comes From

In the Old Testament, God gave the Israelites a lengthy list (more than 600 laws and regulations) to follow in order to be right with him. The majority of the restrictions said that they were not permitted to consume a range of foods. These regulations were primarily comprised of pork. Christians have abstained from eating pork and other unclean foods for hundreds of years. When someone consumed one of these meals, they were labeled as an unclean person by the community. Jewish Diety Laws (AKA Kosher)

Among the restrictions for choosing kosher animal products are the prohibitions on eating animals that are deemed “unclean” and the combination of meat and dairy products, which are both prohibited by Jewish dietary regulations. The legislation also specifies which foods are regarded to be “neutral.”

Animal Products

A kosher animal must fall into one of the categories listed below and fulfill a number of other conditions in order to be accepted.

• Certain creatures, such as pigs, shellfish, rabbits, and reptiles, should not be eaten at all

When it comes to eating animals, only birds and mammals are permitted, and they must be murdered in line with Jewish law. Meat and Dairy

It is necessary for grape products (including juice and wine) to be made by Jews in order for them to be certified kosher.

Messianic Jews and Diety Laws

The biblical precepts governing eating practices are rather plain and unambiguous in nature. Scrappers from either land or water, in general, are to be avoided if at all possible. What Food is Forbidden for Christians

Christians are not subject to such limitations. The Old Testament purity law will be followed by some Christians, but most Christians do not give a second thought to eating anything they want during Lent, with the exception of those who give up a specific food for the season. That does not rule out the possibility that the purity law outlined in Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy has some insight. As a matter of fact, the Old Testament purity rule contains some guidance that is beneficial to anybody to follow for a number of reasons.

Types of Birds

The list of animals that are deemed clean and unclean in Leviticus 11:13-19 is the longest running list in the Bible. Certain marine species, such as crustaceans, are thought to be off-limits to humans (crab, lobster, shrimp, or barnacle). As a bonus, the book of Leviticus 11 makes a point of listing the birds that should not be eaten by Israelites. (For example, owls, ravens, hawks, storks, and so on.) Bats are also included at the end of this list for your convenience.

Insects

According to the book of Leviticus, people can only consume certain species of “locust, katydid, cricket, or grasshopper.” Many insects and arachnids are poisonous to humans, and many of them are poisonous to other animals. Although you should avoid eating winged insects that walk on all fours, you should eat those that have jointed legs above their feet, which they use to hop around on the floor.

You, on the other hand, despise all other winged insects that have four legs and wings.

Christians, for the most part, do not pay much heed to the list of foods that are prohibited in the Bible.

If the Lord does not want these particular foods to be consumed by His children, He has a good reason for doing so.
