LIFE-CHANGING BIBLE STUDIES THE WAY THAT JESUS SATISFIES OUR GREATEST NEED SSession 1: The Importance of Contentment John 6:26-27, 35-40 (NASB) Session 2: The Need for a Clear Course of Action 8:12-19 (John 8:12-19) Protection is Required in John 10:7-15,27-30.

Session 6: The Importance of Having a Sense of Direction John 15:1-812 is a biblical passage.

QUESTION1BSFLenough LIFE-CHANGING BIBLE STUDIES 13THE MAIN POINT Jesus is the Bread of Life, and he is the only one who can truly satisfy our needs.

We may pick from more than 50 different kinds of toothpaste, with the majority of those companies offering a variety of options.

Thousands of individuals in our culture have come to the conclusion that having more and being more successful are invariably preferable, and that getting our way always leads to wealth and pleasure.

Fortunately, Jesus demonstrated a better way.

John 6:26-27, 35-40 (NASB) (NIV) 26 In response, Jesus stated, “Very truthfully I tell you that you are searching for me, not because you witnessed the miracles I did, but because you ate the loaves and got your fill.” 27 Be careful not to work for food that spoils, but rather for food that will last until eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.

  1. “36 I guarantee that everyone who comes to me will never go hungry or thirsty, and anyone who believes in me will never be thirsty.
  2. Those whom the Father gives me will come to me, and everyone who comes to me will never be driven away.
  3. The source of life (v.
  4. This material was referred to as “grain of heaven” by the psalmist (Ps.
  5. The last day (v.
  6. 35 I have received a command from the one who sent me, and it is his wish that I lose none of those he has given me, but that I raise them up at the final day.
  7. Why do humans seek fulfillment in things that are short-lived and fleeting?

Voters were lured to the politician who promised them a better future.

Five barley loaves and two fish were multiplied into enough food to serve 5,000 men—with enough leftovers to fill 12 baskets—earlier in the chapter of John 6.

12-13).

When it comes to the type of wealth that the people expected from Jesus, there is a problem: it is short-lived.

Jesus lectured them about their wrong priorities in verses 26-27.

Rather than “food that spoils,” Jesus had come to bring “food that endures,” which is synonymous with eternal life, as a gift from God via the “Son of Man,” who is Jesus Himself.

When we try to fulfill our deepest wants with larger televisions, sportier automobiles, or more ostentatious clothing, we spend our time and only end up being more dissatisfied.

We need to get off the “get more” treadmill and embrace the eternal fulfillment that only Jesus can offer us with.

They inquired of Jesus as to what sign He intended to give them in order for them to believe in Him.

They desired that Jesus perform a genuine miracle in order to demonstrate His legitimacy.

We pray that God would demonstrate His love for us by providing our needs or interfering in our lives.

According to Jesus, God had provided them with “the actual food from heaven,” and he went on to explain that “the bread of God is the bread who comes down from heaven and brings life to the earth” (vv.

To upon the crowds responded with cries of “Sir.

34).

When Jesus said, “I am the bread of life,” it was the most clear statement He ever made.

By tying together hunger and thirst, as well as the previous food miracle that had kicked off the entire sequence, Jesus was able to emphasize His ultimate goal even more clearly.

35).

In exchange for believing in Him, He promised eternal satisfaction to everyone who believes in Him—an infinitely more significant gift than food and drink.

QUESTION3 Which aspects of Jesus’ nature and character do we learn from his use of the phrase “I am?” QuestionBible Studies for Life417 QUESTIONBIBLE STUDIES FOR LIFE THE MAIN POINT Jesus is the Bread of Life, and he is the only one who can truly satisfy our needs.

First and foremost, our salvation is founded on God’s initiative: “I will draw everyone who are given to me by the Father to come to me” (v.

Despite the fact that it is necessary for people to repent (see Acts 2:38) and place their confidence in Christ in order to be saved (see Eph.

As our Savior, He strengthened Jesus’ resurrection and secured the ascension of Jesus into the heavens.

1:4-5).

God calls people to Himself by prompting them, convicting them, and drawing them to Himself.

A relationship with God is initiated by God, and that relationship is sealed by our repentance and faith in His Son, Jesus.

QUESTION: “Whoever comes to me, I will never drive away from them” (v.

It is the wish of the one who sent me that I lose none of those who have been given to me, but that I raise them up at the end of time (v.

5 Maintaining our relationship with God is a result of His power, not our own.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, may jeopardize your connection with Jesus (see Rom.

It is only when we base our lifestyle decisions on this fundamental reality that we will be able to achieve true satisfaction.

We have confidence in God because of our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Choose two items from that list and make a note of the ways in which our culture typically encourages us to meet those requirements.

THE PURPOSE OF BIBLE STUDIES FOR LIFE19THE POINT Jesus is the Bread of Life, and he is the only one who can truly satisfy our needs.

Think about the following choices for achieving even greater levels of contentment: It’s time to give up.

Put an end to your search.

Please express gratitude.

Given away, thankfulness is an excellent technique to minimize self-centeredness and encourage contentment.

While you’re at it, share the gospel with someone else by quoting this Scripture passage to help them understand that true satisfaction can only be found in Christ Jesus.

As a believer, you may be assured that you will live forever. It was given to you on the day you were rescued, not on the day you passed away. Everything you require, as well as a great deal more, may be found in Jesus. My opinions on the subject 20SESSION 1: GETTING STARTED

I Am – How Jesus Meets Our Deepest Needs – 7. The Alpha and Omega

“I AM.” – How Jesus Meets Our Most Fundamental Needs 7. The beginning and the end Revelation 1:8, 21:6, and 22:13 are all references to the book of Revelation. Continuing on with the Messiah metaphors, today we’ll look at one more that is found not in the Gospel of John, but in the Book of Revelation, where Jesus declares three times that He is both the “Alpha and the Omega.” In preparation for Easter, we’ve been going over Jesus’ “I am” statements from the Gospel of John one by one. The fact that Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, The Way, and The Vine has been established in our hearts and minds.

  1. It is a book full of surprises, but the primary character is none other than the wonderful and majestic Jesus Christ, the victorious King, who is the book’s protagonist.
  2. It narrates the account of the imminent apostasy of the church, the breakdown of world finances, the ultimate conflict of the globe, and unprecedented natural calamities.
  3. In it, there are references to bloodbaths and political turmoil, which pave the ground for the rise of a cruel, terrible global tyrant to take control.
  4. It is a novel of incredible suspense, and yet, miraculously, it is also a novel of hope and joy, and it is a novel with a happy conclusion.” “The Apostle John has been exiled to the rocky island of Patmos.” It immediately brings to mind Robben Island.
  5. Christians are being persecuted, and in the middle of all the awful news, he is given a vision of Jesus Christ that will be with him forever.
  6. A sneak preview of what is about to happen follows – 1: 7, 8, and so on.
  7. This is beneficial to us since we tend to become too preoccupied with what is happening in the present moment.

“He is on his way.” This is written in the present tense, which indicates that Jesus is on his way.

As Jesus proclaims, “Behold, I am coming quickly.” “With the clouds” will be the way in which he will arrive.

After his resurrection, Jesus went into heaven, where he was “taken out of sight” by a “cloud.” He will come down in the same manner in which He came up.

How can we know for certain that it will take place?

He wasn’t simply a good guy or a brilliant teacher, or a miracle worker, or a prophet; he was all of these things and more.

We may notice three characteristics of Jesus: -1.Jesus is Omniscient – All-Knowing; 2.Jesus is All-Wise; 3.Jesus is All-Knowing.

An alphabet for a language comprises and communicates all of the concepts and information that are there.

When someone uttered this phrase, they were also referring to everything in the middle of the spectrum.

He is rated “A1,” which means there is nothing higher or better than him.

When Jesus shouted out, “It is finished,” he established himself as the beginning of redemption and the conclusion, or culmination, of the sacrificial system.

The fact that Jesus refers to Himself as “the Alpha and the Omega” implies that He is superior to any other so-called god.

“Who has accomplished and done this, summoning the generations from the beginning?” asks Isaiah 41:4.

This demonstrates that Jesus is greater than the passage of time.

Jesus is the “be-all and end-all” of all things.

This expression was used to indicate that something has reached its conclusion.

“Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” says the Bible in Hebrews 12:2.

The fact that there is something in every alphabet that correlates to the letters “A” and “Z” shows how God’s plan of salvation includes people from every culture.

The Rotokas alphabet is the shortest alphabet in the world, and it has only 12 letters.

Did you know that the English language has over one million words, all of which are formed by arranging the 26 letters of our alphabet in a certain order?

2.Jesus is Omnipresent — He can be found in every place.

He is, right now, in the present moment of time.

He exists in the past, the present, and the future.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, is, and is to come!” says the Bible in Revelation 4:8.

It provides consolation to certain people.

The idea that God is everywhere at the same time might be a disconcerting theology to believe.

The Omnipresence of God instills Conviction.

Are you like Jonah and dreading it?

Are you involved in something that you’re attempting to keep hidden from others?

Nothing you do will ever allow you to escape God’s presence.

He cares about us too much to allow us to continue to run or hide from Him.

Comfort is provided by omnipresence.

Isaiah 41:10 (NIV): Do not be afraid because I am with you; do not be disheartened for I am your God.” It is I who will strengthen and assist you; it is I who will sustain you with my just right hand.” Because God is constantly with us, we don’t have to be concerned about anything.

Jesus is, He has been, and He will be again.

For my benefit and the glory of God, He is working creatively, strategically, and redemptively in order to fulfill His goals.

He’s now dealing with things that I haven’t even had to deal with yet.

Are you concerned about the upcoming week?

He’s already on his way.

Don’t be concerned.

Because Jesus has already arrived in the future, you may put your confidence in Him today and put your hope in Him for tomorrow, even if you face difficulties (and they will).

However, He goes above and beyond in his work.

Jesus is Omniscient – He is the beginning and the end of all things.

3.He is Omnipotent — He has complete control over all things.

A large crowd, like the roaring of rushing streams and thunderous peals, was heard calling out in Revelation 19, according to the Apostle John.

The term “omnipotent” refers to God’s power being infinite and limitless in nature.

He possesses all of the resources and abilities necessary to carry out His will in any and all circumstances across the cosmos.

When it comes to politics, there is no reason to suppose that Jesus would entirely support one political stance over another based on what we read in the Bible.

Instead of questioning whether or not Jesus is on our side, we should be asking whether or not we are on His.

Is there any doubt about who the Alpha and the Omega are, or do you think there is?

Every knee will eventually bend in submission to Him.

In other words, we should live every day as though it were the day that Christ will return.

1 John 2:28 (NIV) “And now, small ones, abide in him, so that when he appears, we may have faith in him and not run away from him in shame when he appears,” says the author.

2.Proclaim the gospel on a daily basis.

Interestingly, rather of providing them with this, He stated in Acts 1:8 that “but you will gain authority when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and throughout Judea, Samaria, and the entire world.” (Acts 1:8) When Jesus came to earth for the first time, He did so with humility in order to deal with sin.

On Palm Sunday, He rode into Jerusalem on the back of a strong colt.

At the conclusion of the Book of Revelation, the phrase “Alpha and Omega” is repeated twice more in the text.

3.

‘I will give freely from the spring of the water of life to those who are thirsty,’ says the Lord.

FINAL DETERMINATION “Behold, I am coming quickly!” says the Bible in Revelation 22:12-13.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord.

What do you think it will be for you? So, are you willing to embrace Him as your Alpha and Omega in order to be granted compassion rather than judgment? Purify yourself now, and then declare Christ on a daily basis tomorrow and every day after that. “God, You Have Reigned”
