If we would take the basics of the Christian faith seriously, then we must begin with what Jesus actually said.

What Jesus Said and the WordIntroductionOne of the sad realities of the Christian faith today is that few Christians have taken the time to know their Bibles and really listen to what the Word of God says. Not only this, but few have taken the time to really listen to what Jesus actually said. The result is that many who profess Christ are led away by what is actually a corruption of the gospel.This result is a soul-destroying lack of knowledge, a spiritual fog and confusion of mind that pervades that which calls itself Christian. There is even much that passes for Christian today which stands in opposition to Jesus’ own words. Doctrines are called “evangelical,” a term which refers to the gospel, which are neither genuinely evangelical or the gospel. The Word of God warns against false gospels and false christs. Jesus, Himself, does so (Matt. 24:4, 5,23, 24). The Scriptures are the only standard by which the spirits may be tried, and they are to be searched.To this problem is added the fact that we are confronted by a multiplying of corrupt paraphrases, (putting things in man’s word, sometimes called dynamic equivalence) which falsely pass as Bible versions and translations. Jesus said, “That till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled,” Matt. 5:18. While Jesus is speaking of the law, in the context the law embraces in this text the entire Old Testament. His point is, to use an English parallel, that not one dotted letter “i” and one crossed letter “t” shall pass until all be fulfilled. He clearly teaches by this the absolute principle of verbal, word for word inspiration of Holy Scripture. Paraphrases, which are man’s word, are not Scripture, they are not translations. They are based on a corrupt doctrine of Scripture and its inspiration. They are contrary to the doctrine of Jesus Christ.In harmony with this truth, all quotations are taken from the what is called the King James version (KJV) or the Authorized Version (AV). This is not a matter of traditionalism, custom or love of old form. This version is still the most reliable, verbally accurate version of the Bible in the English language, whatever superficial difficulties it might present to a present day reader.

It would be impossible to exhaust this subject.Yet there is much that Jesus said and taught that is ignored or set aside today. What Did Jesus Say About His Own Words?

Jesus said that his words came directly from the mouth of the Almighty. He repeated himself over and over. “It is not I who am teaching, but he who has sent me.” “.the one who sent me is true, and I tell to the world what I have heard from him,” (John 7:16) says Jesus. (See also John 8:26) I do not utter the words that I say to you on my own initiative; rather, the Father who dwells in me works through me.” (See also John 14:10) “.the message you are hearing is not mine, but it comes from the Father who sent me,” Jesus said.

As a result, when I talk, I speak exactly as the Father has instructed me.” (See also John 12:49-50.) And they received the words that you gave me, since I communicated them to them (Jesus’ followers).” They were confident that I was sent by you, and they thought that you were the one who sent me.” (See also John 17:8) Jesus declared that his teachings are full of energy and life.

It is not necessary to be a “card-carrying Christian” in order to understand what the cross signifies. After Jesus Christ was crucified, what was previously an instrument of Roman punishment has been transformed into a symbol of Christian belief and belief system. Forgiveness does not necessarily imply allowing another person to have an impact on your life. However, keep in mind that unforgiveness is a hindrance to your destiny. It is a hindrance to your progress. You may divide forgiveness into two categories: forgiving others and forgiving yourself.

One of the prisoners who hanged there screamed obscenities at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? “Save yourself as well as us!” Luke 23:39 The other criminal, however, makes a heartfelt statement on behalf of Jesus.

• “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?
• But this man has done nothing wrong.” Luke 40:40-41 The criminal takes 3 crucial steps in the life of any follower of Jesus.
• Next, he acknowledges his own faults and imperfect nature.
• He not only says “Jesus You are Lord” but also “Take me with You”.
• He answered him:“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 40:43 The criminal could do nothing to help himself but by calling on the Name of Jesus, He was saved!

Jesus looks down at two people He has loved deeply throughout His earthly life: John and His beloved mother. He appoints his disciple with a very honorable task.When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to them, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

This is considered by many to be the most puzzling passage in the Bible. Jesus is subjected to a variety of trials. In addition to being beaten and tormented, he is insulted and spit on. A whipping is applied to the Savior, and He is next wounded in the heart with a crown of thorns, and finally with nails in His wrists and feet. What did Jesus say on the cross, at the height of His pain, was recorded. Towards the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice and said, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” which translates as “My God, My God, why have You deserted Me?” 27:46 (Matthew 27:46) Is it possible that God forsook Jesus?

The life of Jesus is so momentous that it divides our whole record of human history into two eras: the period before Christ and the period following Christ. Jesus traveled about the country for three years as a traveling Jewish teacher before being murdered in Jerusalem at the age of 33. He delivered sermons in synagogues as well as in the open air. He mentored his followers and achieved incredible feats of strength. He lived out the beliefs he espoused, embraced a simple way of life, and made friends with those who were marginalized and socially undesirable in his society.

WHAT DID JESUS SAY THE MOST?

Several years ago, while I was living in another place, I had a buddy who used a phrase that practically never came out of my lips. He would describe himself on a regular basis. He would regularly label anything he was talking about as “TERRIBLE!” while describing it to others. I’ve also known several folks who could always be depended on to say something along the lines of, “I’m scared that.” or “I have serious reservations about.” “I’m not persuaded that.”, “I’m not convinced that.”, and “You’ll have to show that to me” are some of the remarks made by individuals in my acquaintanceship.

1. Now, we all use terms of this nature from time to time, but I am not referring to them in this context.
2. The things that your closest friends and family members are most likely to say are probably in your head right now.
3. All of this got me thinking about Jesus’ comment, “The tongue communicates what the heart is full of,” which I found very poignant.
4. For everyone of us, the things that are repetitively stated reveal a lot about ourselves.
5. It is obvious to anyone that the foul-mouthed man has a foul disposition, but other verbal cues may be overlooked or ignored.

• The person who is worried expresses his or her “concerns.” The lady with a bitter heart complains bitterly to everyone around her, whereas the woman with a glad heart shows her thankfulness to everyone around her in her everyday language.

Our internal thinking life leaves ruts in our language that can be picked up on by others, even if we are unaware of them ourselves! This insight prompted me to take two actions: First, I polled individuals closest to me to find out what words I am known for and what characteristics they associate with me. This is a humbling event, and I strongly advise you to participate if you are up to it. Aside from watching some of my sermons and interviews that had been archived online to confirm what I’d learnt, I also learned some new things about myself from what I discovered (after I knew what I was searching for).

The second thing I did was ask myself what phrases Jesus used a lot, and then I wrote them down.

Even though I am confident that I have just scratched the surface of Jesus’ internal thought life, the following are five pointers to His internal thought life that sprang out at me as I thought about the words that He used the most while on earth.

On several times, Jesus spoke this remark (or variants such as “Don’t be scared!” or other very similar expressions). Take, for example, John 14, where He stated it twice. As part of His exhortation to gain a grip on our worries, He made remarks like “Don’t be concerned about what you will eat or drink” and “Don’t be scared, Peter.” You will become a fisher of men if you follow my example!” OUR FIRST VERBAL PATHWAY THROUGH THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS ENSURES THAT I UNDERSTAND THAT HE VIEWED FEAR AS A DECISION AND THAT IT WAS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR US TO KEEP A HANDLE ON OUR NATURAL FEARS SO THAT THEY DON’T TAKE OVER OUR LIVES.

Again, Jesus would say the same thing in other terms if he were present.

You can count on me to tell you the truth.

To him, it was important for people to wake up from the delusion that God’s Kingdom was a long, long way away and that it would not be experienced in any of our lifetimes.

He used the phrase “at hand” on occasion.

), then “the Kingdom of God HAS COME UPON YOU” (Matthew 12:28).

However He framed it in this or that conversation, the fact remains.

The Kingdom of Heaven is a lot closer than you would imagine!

They were inextricably linked to the kinds of actions that God desired to reward, and which Jesus was urging us to engage in as well!

Their meanings were likewise strongly associated with actions, but in this particular instance they were associated with behaviors that Jesus was warning were inconvenient for His Father, and as such, they were behaviors that we should avoid at all costs!

The fact that JESUS used this FIFTH VERBAL MANNERISM, which was so distinctive to him, informs us that he held as a FIRM TRUTH in his inner thought life that it matters whatever actions we choose to do in this life and that those actions will have real-world consequences in this world and the next.

1. In light of the expressions that He liked to employ often in discussions and during teaching sessions, let us combine and apply these insights into Jesus’ way of thinking to our own lives.
2. This is especially true for young children.
3. We have the ability to put those worries aside and no longer be bound by them.
4. This knowledge has placed us in mental prisons of powerlessness and bewilderment, which is a contributing factor.
5. Whatever portion of our life has been destroyed by that misinformation and those lies, we may listen to what Jesus has to say about it and build our lives on those facts with confidence, knowing that He would never lead us astray and that He is never wrong.
6. The importance of all of this cannot be overstated, for we do not have all of the time and space we desire to reject God’s truth.
7. In a lot of respects, it has already happened!

Because the things we choose to do or not do are all noticed by our God, and they ALL have implications in terms of how He reacts to us and regards us, this could not be more vital.

The act of offending God will ALWAYS bring curses into our life, both here on earth and in eternity.

In our society, tensions are at breaking point, but it doesn’t have to be that way with us.

Jesus has told us not to be afraid or worried, and He has never given us a mandate that He was unable to assist us in doing on our own.

We shall disregard the “knowledge” of this world, as well as the “advice” of the pundits and the viewpoints of the talk show presenters, since they are all wrong.

That is the foundation upon which we shall construct our lives.

His statements are always the truth, and as a result, they are absolutely trustworthy.

His life on this side of the door could be cut short at any time if the Father says to him, “Son, go get my children!” and our existence on this side of the door will be over forever.

With our eyes fixed on that day, we will live in anticipation of the blessings He has promised us in this life as well as the rewards He has promised us in the next life. His promises are SOLID, SOLID, and he means it. AMEN and AMEN, and AMEN.
