What A Friend We Have In Jesus Lyrics Matt Maher

Matt Maher – What A Friend Lyrics

“What a Wonderful Friend” Everyone is subjected to difficulties and temptations. Everyone has experienced heartbreak and loneliness. However, we have the ability to put our responsibilities down. We must let our burdens down. East to west, my sins have been forgiven. What a friend we have in Jesus Every vista is filled with elegance, in my opinion. And His heart will always be my home, no matter what. Everybody is filled with apprehensions and concerns. Everyone has experienced sadness and loss.

We must let our burdens down.

What a friend we have in Jesus Every vista is filled with elegance, in my opinion.

There will be no more treachery since He is trustworthy.

  1. There will be no more treachery since He is trustworthy.
  2. He fills me up to the brim, and my cup overflows.
  3. How He has demonstrated it time and time again over and over again East to west, my sins have been forgiven.
  4. And His heart will always be my home, no matter what.
  5. What a friend we have in Jesus Every vista is filled with elegance, in my opinion.
  6. His heart will always be my home, forever and ever.

Made To Fly

Sing Hallelujah – By and by – Don’t stop at walking – When you were created to fly – When you were made to fly

Rattle!

Open the grave, I’m coming out! I’m going to live, I’ll live again – This is the sound of dry bones rattling! This is the praise – make a dead man walk once more! This is the praise – make a dead man walk again!

Show You The Cross

I’ll show you the cross – With Jesus raised up on it – I’ll show you the grave – Where death was left behind – I’ll show you a Savior – Who paid the ultimate price – I’ll show you a Savior – Who paid the ultimate price – Show me all of your scars, and I’ll show you where the cross is located.

How Blessed We Are to Have Jesus as Our Friendwas written by an Irishman living in Canada named Joseph Scriven. He was engaged twice, and both times his fiancée passed away unexpectedly. He went on to become a missionary, assisting the physically challenged and the underprivileged. He had made a vow of poverty in order to provide consolation to his ailing mother, who was dying.

Matt Maher – What A Friend (Devotional) – Lifter Today

In the Bible (Psalm 103:12; Hebrews 13:8; Luke 22),

What A Friend

More than a year and a half ago, I collaborated with my pals from the band I AM THEY to write this song. While I was working on my most recent album, Echoes, I learned that I had written a number of songs that were unintentionally influenced by hymns, which I had not known. The weird thing about hymns is that you don’t necessarily seek them out; rather, they seem to seek you out for a specific reason. The tale of the original hymn is brought to life in this song, which has a strong connection to the contemporary cultural period in which we find ourselves.

Joseph Scriven, an Irishman who immigrated to Canada, was the author of this poem.

He subsequently went on to work as a missionary in Ontario, Canada, where he assisted the physically challenged and the needy.

That poetry became the inspiration for the lyrics to the song “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” It speaks a lot about this man, who has endured so much pain throughout his life, that he was able to put pen to paper and write songs proclaiming Jesus’ companionship in the midst of such adversity as this.

That is the essence of dedication. That is the essence of real faith.

His friendship is consistent, constant, and never changes. It never wavers. It never falters.

I believe that Christians, now more than ever, must remind people of God’s fellowship with them and their families. That His friendship is continuous, constant, and never changes. It never wavers. It never falters in any way. On this world, we experience how delicate and brittle human connections can be. Even Jesus suffered this in the Garden of Gethsemane when one of His own followers, Judas, betrayed Him. Yet, in the midst of all of the confusion, Jesus declares, “Enough is enough.” That is no longer the case.
