Since starting to actually read my Bible, I have learnt a great deal. Unfortunately, there are many phony churches and individuals that are as I was, which is painful to witness. They are really mistaken, and they are not complying or following the commands of Jesus or his apostles. God does expect his followers to fulfill his commandments (John 14:15; 1 John 2:3–4), the most important of which is to love him and to love others (the greatest commandment) (Galatians 5:14; James 2:8). As stated in the Bible, those who do not follow his commands or who are unloving towards others do not know Jesus (1 John 3:6; 1 John 4:8).

Reading his word (the Holy Bible) is the best way to find out for yourself. This is how you will become acquainted with him (Romans 10:17). It was through reading God’s word that I fell in love with him, and it is the most romantic narrative ever written.

The Bible Clearly Tells Us How to Be Saved

As you read, I believe you will be startled to learn exactly how incorrect the religious world can be, and, unfortunately, how many people actually do not know Jesus and are teaching and preaching false doctrines and doctrines contrary to the Bible. The Bible cautions against a second Jesus as well as false instructors (2 Corinthians 11:4; Galatians 1:6-7; 2 Corinthians 11:13; 2 Peter 2; 1 John 4:1; Matthew 7:15). They are described as “ravenous wolves” by Jesus in his warning, and we shall recognize them by the fruit of their deeds, which will be revealed in the future (their actions).

There will be MANY who have believed they were following Jesus on the very last day of this earth, when everything is destroyed, when he returns to judge the world righteously, and when he takes his followers with him to be with him for eternity.
They did not follow his instructions or observe his commands.
So I’m writing this letter to you for a lot of different reasons.
Second, I care deeply about your soul and want you to be rescued as well.
Let’s get started!

Why do I need to be saved?

So here’s how it works. Jesus Christ, God’s righteous judge, will judge the entire world on the final day through the eyes of his Son, God the Son (Acts 17:31). Every everyone who has ever walked this world will come before God one day, and we shall be evaluated according to our deeds, as well as by the words and teachings of Jesus, and we will be rewarded or punished accordingly (2 Corinthians 5:11; John 12:48). God has provided us with his law (his commandments). I believe God has set a standard for us that we must live up to; but, we have all fallen short of that ideal and broken his law out of our own free will (Romans 3:23).

Everyone who has ever lived will spend forever in one of two places: either hell or paradise.
Furthermore, God want to establish a connection with us, but our sin keeps us from having that relationship.
Our sin results in death, which is the punishment for our sin (Romans 6:23).
It is necessary for him to punish us for breaching the law if he is a just judge.
God is just, yet he does not wish to punish us for our disobedience in the first place (Romans 3:26).

He longs to be merciful and for us to come to know who he is (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 12:7). As a result, he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us and pay the penalty for our sins, so enabling us to be rescued from their consequences!

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is the son of God. Despite the fact that he is eternal and has previously lived in paradise, Jesus chose to leave the pleasures of heaven and come to earth. He took on a human body for our sakes (Philippians 2), lived a completely sinless life, went through all of the emotions and trials that we as humans go through, and then died an incredibly agonizing death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins on our behalf. He gave his life in our place. Then, on the third day, Jesus was resurrected from the grave and ascended back to heaven, where he died.

God the Father has placed Jesus at his right hand, where he is presently ruling over his church (the body of rescued believers), and he is waiting for the day when he will return to judge the world (Acts 2:30-35).

How can I be saved by God? What are the steps to be saved?

It is necessary for us to embrace the redemption made available by Christ in order to gain forgiveness of our sins and, consequently, eternal life through him. Following the instructions provided in the Bible, there are six stages we must perform in order to achieve this salvation.

1. Hear

First and foremost, we must hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, “faith comes through hearing, and hearing comes via the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). One can not qualify as a Christian just because his parents are Christians. Faith is not something that can be passed down through generations (Ezekiel 18:20). Each individual must come to faith in Jesus Christ for himself or herself. Christianity is built on a foundation of sound doctrine (Matthew 28:19-20). One cannot be saved until he has heard the Gospel and understood that Jesus Christ died for his sins, was buried, and was raised from the grave on the third day, according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

And how are they supposed to believe in Him of whom they have not heard anything?

2. Believe

Our first step is to be exposed to the Good News of Jesus Christ (Gospel). It is said in the Bible that “faith comes through hearing, and hearing comes through the Word of God” (Romans 10:17). If one’s parents are not Christians, then one is not a Christian. Faith is not something that can be passed down through family (Ezekiel 18:20). To have faith in Jesus Christ, each individual must come to that conclusion on his or her own accord. A firm foundation underpins Christian beliefs and practices (Matthew 28:19-20).

“How then would they call on Him in whom they have not put their trust?” asked the apostle Paul.

And how can they put their faith in someone they have never heard of? In the absence of a preacher, how are they supposed to listen?” In the book of Romans, verse 14 says, Before one may believe the Gospel, one must first hear it.

3. Repent

Third, in order to be saved, one must repent of his or her sins (Acts 17:30-31). “Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be taught in His name to all nations, beginning with Jerusalem,” Jesus stated in the Sermon on the Mount (Luke 24:47). A person’s repentance is the outcome of feeling sad for his or her sins (2 Corinthians 7:10). They were “cut to the heart” when they discovered, through Peter, that they had crucified the Son of God on Pentecost Day (Acts 2:37). It was because they want to be pardoned of their faults that they inquired, “What must we do?” Their instructions were as follows: “Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.” (See Acts 2:37-38.) When someone repents, he or she is turning away from their misdeeds (1 Thessalonians 1:9).

4. Confess

The third need for salvation is that one must repent of his or her sins (Acts 17:30-31). “Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be taught in His name to all nations, beginning with Jerusalem,” Jesus stated in the Gospel of Matthew (Luke 24:47). Repentance is a result of feeling sad for one’s faults and expressing that sorrow to others (2 Corinthians 7:10). Upon learning from Peter on Pentecost Day that they had crucified the Son of God, Peter described the Jews as “cut to the core” (Acts 2:37).

The Bible states in Acts 2:37-38 that The act of turning away from one’s faults is known as repentance or restitution (1 Thessalonians 1:9).

5. Be Baptized

Fifth, in order to be saved, one must be immersed in water. The words of Jesus were, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16). Please keep in mind that baptism comes after believing. A person who does not believe in the Gospel cannot be authentically baptized in the Christian faith. As a result, babies cannot be baptized because they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Babies cannot be baptized because they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

When people inquired about what they should do to be saved on Pentecost Day, Peter responded by telling them to “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized.” (See Acts 2:38.) A person who has not sincerely repented will not be able to be truly baptized.
The term “immerse” comes from the Greek language and implies “to entirely submerge” under water.
As a result, sprinkling and pouring do not constitute true baptism.
According to the beliefs of several faiths, one is not saved until he is baptized.
“And now, why are you wasting your time?” he is told.

6. Remain faithful to God

Fifth, in order to be saved, one must be baptized in water. ‘He who believes and is baptized will be saved,’ Jesus declared (Mark 16:16). Remember that baptism occurs when a person has come to believe in God. The Gospel cannot be preached to someone who does not believe it. As a result, babies cannot be baptized because they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Babies are also too young to be baptized because they are too young to (1) have sin, (2) hear the Gospel, (3) repent of sins, and (4) confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God Following repentance, baptism is also performed.

It is a burial in water that is performed during the Christian rite of baptism (Romans 6:3,4; Colossians 2:12).
Because of this, baptism by sprinkling or pouring is not considered to be proper.
According to several faiths, one is not saved until he is baptized.

This journey begins when a man or woman realizes their true state in the presence of a holy God for the first time. When Adam and Eve broke God’s mandate in the Garden of Eden, they forfeited the personal and lovely fellowship that the Father longed for with man, the crown of His creation. Adam and Eve forfeited their privilege to eat from the tree of life, which would have given them the ability to live forever if they hadn’t sinned.

The teaching of the Gospel has laid out a clear path for every man to follow in order to be saved.

“For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s crimes against them.” (See 2 Corinthians 5:19 for further information.) Given God’s foreknowledge of man’s fall, He provided a path of reconciliation for mankind; He understood that there was nothing that a human being could accomplish to make humans acceptable to God.

There was no other way to undo the effects of sin but through the shed blood of Christ.
Blood was poured to show that the penalty for sin had been paid; a life had been given in order to save the lives of all others who had sinned before that point.
“Many individuals became sinners as a result of one person’s disobedience to God.

This is the good news about Jesus Christ, which is known as the Gospel. God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and his sins were no longer counted against those who believed in him. This results in the restoration of man’s relationship with God. “For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ” As a result, it is through believing in your heart that you are reconciled to God, and it is by professing your faith with your lips that you are saved. Moreover, according to the Bible, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Because it is by faith in your heart that you are reconciled to God, and it is through confession with your lips that you are saved” (Romans 10:9-11). In the name of Jesus Christ, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in his name for the forgiveness of sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). After then, the Bible instructs us to follow through on our pledge as a means of becoming closer to Him.

Christians may find it helpful to go back to the beginning and ask themselves, “WDJS?” (What Did Jesus Say?) to determine their salvation. The authors of Mark, Matthew, and Luke have recorded Jesus’ remarks on the subject of redemption in the following passages from their respective gospels.

How reliable are the biblical passages on salvation?

How To Be Saved By Jesus

Acts 16:31 (KJV) The brief and very sufficient response to the question “How may I be saved?” is as follows: Put your confidence in Jesus Christ. Keep in mind that, if you remember nothing else, redemption is only possible through trust in Jesus Christ alone. What Is the Message of the Gospel? The gospel is the means by which God saves people. The term “gospel” literally translates as “good news.” But what precisely is this wonderful news, and how can this good news rescue your life and provide you with a new start?

Now, brothers, I would want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you are standing, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain—and that you are being saved by grace through faith.
Recognize that you are a sinner, and that the penalty for sin is death.
But from what have they been saved?
What exactly is sin?
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” says Romans 3:23, “and have come short of the glory of God.” Every single person who has ever walked the face of the earth, including you and me, has committed a sin against God.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is everlasting life in Christ Jesus our Lord,” writes the apostle Paul in Romans 6:23: “For the payment of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Sin produces spiritual, emotional, relational, economic, social, environmental, and even physical death.

Everything wicked and evil exists as a result of the fall of the human race, and we now live in a fractured world.
God, on the other hand, loves us so much that he devised a means for us to have a totally repaired relationship with him.
Jesus died in our place, as we deserved.
To be saved, you must put your faith in Jesus, confess your sins, and repent of your sins.
“But God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,” says the Bible.
But how can we get this gift?
In the event that you choose not to believe in Jesus, you will be unable to benefit from God’s gift of salvation via Him.

A belief in Jesus is the first step: “For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith.” And this is not your own doing; it is a gift from God, 9 not a product of your efforts, so that no one may take credit for it” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

You also think that you can never be saved by your own efforts but can only be saved by placing your faith in Jesus.

All we have to do to be forgiven by God is confess our faults, and he will wash away our sins with the blood of Jesus.

After confessing one’s sins, the next stage is repentance.

Repentance is the act of turning one’s life away from sin and returning it to the will of God.

Being baptized is a public expression of repentance and submission to God.

What Happens After You Put Your Faith In Jesus Christ?

The error, on the other hand, would be to think that this is the only change that has occurred in your life.

Many things happen to you at the moment of your conversion, even if you aren’t aware of them or notice any changes in your surroundings. According to Scripture, as soon as you place your trust in Jesus, you will be able to:

Economically
Socially
Environmentally
And physically. That the human race has fallen and we now live in a broken world is the root cause of all wrong and evil. In our relationship with God, we have been alienated by sin. God, on the other hand, cares so deeply about us that he devised a method for us to have a totally repaired connection with him. According to Jesus’ own words: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. ” Except through me, no one else can come to the Father (John 14:6). It was Jesus who died in our place. So that we may avoid the penalty that was due to us, Christ stood in our place. Faith in Jesus Christ, confession of sin, and repentance are all necessary steps to salvation. Despite the fact that the price of sin is death, God extends to us all the free gift of eternal life through his Son, Jesus Christ our Savior. We are not deserving of this gift, yet God extends it to us because he loves us. “But God demonstrates his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us,” says the Bible (Romans 5:8). But how can we actually get our hands on this gift? According to the Bible, even though Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, you must still place your trust in him in order to benefit from his grace and forgiveness. You will not be able to receive God’s gift of salvation via Jesus Christ if you do not choose to believe in him. When it comes to someone who is ready to receive salvation from God, there are at least three essential characteristics present in their character. A belief in Jesus is the first: “For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith.” And this is not your own doing
It is a gift from God, 9 not a product of your efforts, so that no one can take credit for it’ (Ephesians 2:8-9). When you put your confidence and trust in Jesus, you acknowledge that he died on the cross for your sins and that he rose from the tomb, and you recognize that you can never be saved by your own efforts but can only be saved by trusting in him. In the second step, you must admit your sins: “If declare we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to purify us from all unrighteousness,” says the Bible (1 John 1:8-9). It takes nothing more than confessing our sins before God in order for him to cleanse us with the blood of Jesus. It is the third step that you must take: “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins. ” As a result, you will be blessed by the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). Confession is followed by the act of repentance. It is begging for forgiveness when one confesses. Turning your life away from sin and returning to God is what repentance is all about. It is about living for God that one is repentant. Repentance and obedience to God are expressed via baptism. Because of God’s grace, you have been rescued by faith and through deeds of good deeds. Following your decision to place your faith in Jesus Christ, what happens next is a mystery. Your soul will be taken to heaven after you die as a result of placing your faith in Jesus Christ and being saved by him. Making the assumption that this is the sole difference between today and before would be a mistake. When you become a Christian, a lot of things happen to you, even if you aren’t aware of them or notice any differences. After placing your trust in Jesus, the Bible says the following:

You will be converted into a whole different being (2 Corinthians 5:17). In other words, while your sinful nature will continue to exist in your body, you will now have a new nature to contend with. The true self is represented by the new nature you have received in Jesus Christ (Romans 7:14-25). Because of Christ, you now have a new identity.

In the sight of God, you have been entirely justified. So when God examines your current state, he sees the perfections of Christ in your person. In his eyes, you are completely unblemished. When you sin, you will experience a sense of guilt, but you should never feel that you are condemned ever again (Romans 8:1). However, you are now undergoing the process of sanctification. God will continue training you for the rest of your life to live better and holier lives as you grow in your understanding of his truth. You will never be sinless until you reach heaven, but as Christians, we should be sinning less and less as we grow in our faith over the course of our entire lives. We will all go through periods of backsliding, but we will also always confess and repent when we fall short. If we do not repent of our recognized faults, we are not truly a Christian
Otherwise, we are a heretic.

Following your profession of faith in Jesus, you should be immersed in water to symbolize your newfound faith. Water baptism is only a symbolic gesture by which you demonstrate to the rest of the world that God has taken you out of death and into life through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. While going under the water, you are symbolizing the death of your old man via Christ, and rising out out of the water signifies the resurrection of your spirit through Christ. We are baptized in the Holy Spirit just once, at the time of our conversion to Christ. You should only be water baptized once, to represent your spiritual baptism, as a result. In the Bible (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4),

You must first decide whether or not you want to be saved by Jesus Christ. For those who are ready to be saved, they should place their confidence in Jesus, ask God to pardon them of their sins, repent by turning away from their former lives, and now attempt to live for God in obedience to him. While there is no magical prayer that can save you, reciting these words is a method of practicing what we’ve discussed in this essay.

Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teachings of Christ does not have God; nevertheless, the one who abides in the teachings has both the Father and the Son; anyone who does not abide in the teachings does not have God.

In current culture, there are many different religious groups, each of which is pushing its own set of ideas.

We cannot speak for other religions, but when it comes to Christianity, we have a clear and certain guide in our comprehension of this issue – Jesus Christ!

I believe that by doing so, we will be able to put aside what is customary, what is popular, and what is unpleasant, and concentrate only on what Jesus truly stated about salvation. That was uttered by Jesus.

One must come to Him for salvation

The first and most important thing that one must do in order to be saved is to turn to Christ; no other person or object can achieve this for them. At the end of Acts 4:12, Peter affirms the exclusivity of the Christian religion, stating that there is no space for anybody other but Jesus Christ. The only other person who can provide us with salvation is Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.” As a result, no one else in history has ever done for mankind what Christ has done in terms of salvation and redemption.

No one else has promised his followers a conscious, joyous, guaranteed, and eternal existence, and no one else has performed miracles to back up those claims more than Jesus Christ.

That was uttered by Jesus.

Faith is necessary for salvation

9His followers started to interrogate Him about the significance of this tale. tenAnd He added, “To you, it has been permitted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; nevertheless, to the rest, it has been revealed in parables, so that they may not see and hear and understand.11″Now the parable is as follows: the seed represents the word of God. 12 These are the people who have received the word; yet, the devil comes and snatches the word away from their hearts, so that they will not believe and be saved.- Luke 8:9-12 As soon as we know that salvation is found only in Christ and that it can be obtained only through Him, we must trust that everything He says is correct.

Jesus shows us the utmost respect as human beings by enabling us to use our free choice in matters of salvation, and by including faith as one of the requirements for salvation (You need free will to believe).

God the Son achieved everything on the cross, yet the Divinity of God gives opportunity for our faith to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Jesus declares that in order to be saved, we must first believe!

Repentance is necessary for salvation

Upon reaching the location, Jesus raised his eyes to him and said, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must remain at your house,” in a commanding tone. 6And he hurriedly hastened down to meet Him and welcomed Him with open arms. They all began to murmur when they saw what had happened. They said, “He has gone to be the guest of a guy who is a sinner.” 8Zaccheus came to a complete halt and addressed the Lord, saying, “Behold, Lord, half of my wealth will be given to the needy, and if I have deceived anybody of anything, I will repay them four times as much.” 9And Jesus responded to him by saying, “Because he, too, is a descendant of Abraham, salvation has come to this household today, as well.

10For the Son of Man has come to seek and to rescue those who have been separated from God.” – Luke 19:5-10 (KJV) Rather than using the term repentance, the author portrays the attitude of true repentance in the narrative.
When we repent, we go from being lovers of ourselves, sin, and the things of this world to becoming lovers of God, righteousness, and the lost in this world.
In Mark 8:34-35, Jesus summarizes the mindset of the people.
Although difficult, repentance is the beautiful experience of watching our old life fade away as we wish more and more to know, do, and be solely what Christ wants us to know, do, and be as he desires us to know, do, and become.

What is referred to call faith is nothing more than a sham religious observance. The Bible states in Luke 13:3 that “if you do not repent, you will all perish.” That was uttered by Jesus.

You must be baptized for salvation

It is only those who have believed and been baptized who will be saved; however, those who have disbelieved will be damned. – Matthew 16:16 Self-denial begins with immersion in the waters of baptism, which is the first step. Baptism is required for salvation for a variety of reasons, including the following:

Our sins are forgiven when we are baptized. -Acts 2:38
We receive the Holy Spirit at the time of baptism. -Acts 2:38
When we are baptized, we are welcomed into the church. -Acts 2:47
We put on Christ when we are baptized. The Bible says that we are saved at baptism (Galatians 3:26). The Bible says this in I Peter 3:21.

For the sake of simple logic, it follows that in order to be saved, one must first be forgiven and then receive the Holy Spirit, become a member of the church, and finally, be in Christ. If all of these things occur at baptism, then baptism is required for salvation because these things do not occur without baptism and we cannot be saved unless these things occur. However, the most important reason why baptism is required for salvation is that Jesus mandates it, and He commands it in conjunction with one’s own personal salvation in the first place.

While it is true that we are saved by faith, that faith must be expressed via our will, and Jesus teaches that this manifestation of our will / our faith is done by baptism.

Jesus stated that this was necessary in order to be saved.

You must endure to the end

For the sake of simple logic, it follows that in order to be saved, one must first be forgiven and then receive the Holy Spirit, become a member of the church, and finally, be in Christ. If all of these things happen at baptism, then baptism is required for salvation because these things do not happen without baptism and we cannot be saved unless these things happen. Although Jesus requires baptism, it is the most important reason for its necessity for salvation. He commands it in conjunction with one’s own personal salvation.

While it is true that we are saved by faith, that faith must be expressed via our will, and Jesus teaches that the manifestation of our will / our faith is done by baptism.

Jesus stated that this was necessary in order to be rescued by the grace of God.

Apocalyptic events such as the destruction of Jerusalem, which would occur within their lifetimes His second coming, which may occur at any time
And his resurrection.

The lesson for both occurrences, however, was the same: only those who remained faithful until the end would be rescued, regardless of the circumstances. He attempted to prepare them for what was to come by revealing some of the hardships they would have to experience in these chapters. His disciples will be subjected to the following:

Persecution, brutality, and suffering
Family disintegration
False instructors and hypocrites are around. Unrest in the social and environmental spheres
Many members of the church have demonstrated unfaithfulness and a lack of love.

These things, however, are not legitimate reasons for drifting away (as many believe, believing that God would overlook their unfaithfulness because they have a good justification – No, these things are and always will be hurdles we must conquer in order to achieve the goal).

It is only those who complete the Christian race who are saved.

Why this sermon?

My guess is that the majority of those in attendance today were aware of what I had to say, but I wanted to double-check three things:

Ensuring that everyone is completely convinced of what Jesus Himself has to say about redemption – both for their own souls and for the souls of others with whom they will come into contact ensure that our congregation and any those who come to visit us are aware of our fundamental teachings on this fundamental topic, so order to avoid any misunderstandings about our theology
And As a method of pushing individuals present today to examine themselves and determine whether or not they have been saved, and if they have not, to take steps to rectify the situation

If you haven’t already, put your faith in Christ and profess His name. If you haven’t already, repent of your misdeeds. If you haven’t already, get baptized (immersed in water). Be faithful, or if you haven’t been faithful in the past, get back on track. For the final reason, I’d like to encourage anyone who is reading this to ask for prayer if they are in need of assistance from the church or to identify with this congregation if they are interested in extending the hand of fellowship to those who are listening.
