What is TRUE about you?

The other day I had the opportunity to sit down and speak with an incredible woman of influence. I interviewed her about her ministry goals, insights, and needs as a woman leader. She shared with me words of wisdom that I immediately gravitated to and wrote down excitedly. She stated how much she enjoyed and needed training that informed her about “more of what was true for her.” She liked training that focused on her truths, her style, and her strengths and enhanced what she already possessed. What an amazing way of looking at refining our leadership style. How often do you focus on what you do really well instead of focusing on your deficiencies? How well do you know yourself? How well do you know your team? Could you benefit from strengths based personality assessments that provide more about what is true about you and how you could leverage that knowledge into wise leadership? I was introduced to the idea of strength based assessments in the book “Strengths Finders 2.0,” (2007, Gallup, Inc.). In it, readers are invited to embark on a journey of discovering what is true about them utilizing the Clifton StrengthFinders Assessment. This assessment tool examines 34 of the most common talents exhibited, culled from 40 years of research into human potential. I highly recommend this gem of a book that includes the online assessment tool as part of the purchase price. The profile that you receive, gives an overview of 5 key areas that are considered personalized strength areas. The organization also provides online support for understanding the feedback.

At ProvenWay Ministries, the presenters, trainers, speakers, leaders, work to highlight what is true about the women of influence who are our members. One of the many ways we do this is through personalized amenities like our in house Relational Style training. We provide the Relational Style training on site and in one-on-one consultations. The benefits of this tool are myriad. Not only will you come away with an understanding of your strengths, but you’ll understand how others perceive you and how you can best navigate other personality types. Build yourself and your team from a position of strength. After all, knowledge is indeed power, but knowledge applied is wisdom! Proverbs 1:5 “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance.” Become a member today at and enjoy the benefits of personalized guidance and training.
