Naima Imani Lett is a professional TV/film/stage actress, writer, and producer who has written and performed several solo dramas about women of the Bible including her signature play SHATTERED SILHOUETTES in theaters, universities, conferences, retreats and churches nationwide for more than ten years. An artist with Max McLean’s ministry Fellowship for the Performing Arts for several years, Naima recently co-founded Lett’s Rise! Productions and Lett’s Rise! Ministries with her husband Kevin, a music producer, to create more inspirational films, theatre and music that encourage, entertain and spur audiences toward truth and hope.

A dynamic speaker and dramatist, Naima recently became the first graduate with a Masters in Media & Communications from Dallas Theological Seminary. She received her BFA from Howard University’s Theatre Dept, continued her career at the Tony-Award winning Crossroads Theatre and studied classical theater with the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England. She recently finished shooting a role for Lifetime’s original series “Inspector Mom”, BBC crime thriller series “Wire in the Blood”, and Fox’s hit “Prison Break”.

Between ministry travels, Naima enjoys reading autobiographies, going to the movies with her husband, and tasting all different types of cheesecake. She encourages women all over the world to keep in touch with her and share their stories and praise reports as she “welcomes any excuse to dance!”
