Overflow Reunion/ Come Away Preview Coffee

Come enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up on what's God's been doing since Overflow as well as learn about the Come Away Weekend in September.

Didn't attend Overflow?  No problem.  You are welcome to come by and meet us and see what we're all about. You may get to meet a participant from Come Away 2017 and hear their thoughts on the weekend too. We will be at a table with the Come Away image on it; just stop by! If June 23rd doesn't work for you, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we would be glad to find a time to meet with you to answer any questions. Email liz.dotterer65@gmail.com with subject line Come Away 2018.

The Come Away Weekend is in the beautiful Hill Country at the Narrows on the Blanco River.               We will worship, pray, journal, reflect, and move. Open conversations will delve into living out our God-given identity and purpose, both individually and collectively. Plus, we will share and explore what we are hearing from the One who knows and loves us best!  You will walk away feeling refreshed and restored, with a renewed sense of your God-given identity and purpose, and how to live it out in your daily life.

From Come Away 2017:

"I love that I feel I made so many new friends who actually get me and I can talk to."

"God spoke so powerfully to me personally and through the conversations. The retreat flow was well paced and the freedom to do what we needed was a breath of fresh air."

"It was so beneficial to my walk with God. I want all my friends to experience the freedom that comes with reconciliation."

"When we come together to worship Him, we are changed. This was an extended time of doing just that...praising and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ, praying and seeking His face, peering into His Word, and sweet fellowship/communion with sisters in Christ. The guided prayer times were right on, and gave a forum for the Lord to speak to me personally and to get a Fire for His good purpose in my life."

Proven Way & Greater Grounds present. . .

OVERFLOW

A Day of Rest and Refueling

How full is your spiritual tank?

If you're like me, you have your daily Quiet Time, but it's easy for it to become a habit and not a time of meaningful connection with The Father because we are busy women with places to go and people to see.  We must be intentional in order to keep our relationship with the Great I Am fresh and alive.  Overflow is a day to slow down and let the Father fill you up so that your purpose is fueled by your overflow of Him.

Join us and discover the four keys of living in the overflow through journeys shared, purposeful conversation, prayer and journaling.  You’ll leave refreshed, invigorated and ready to keep fighting the good fight armed with resources and connections to keep your spiritual tank full.

BRAVE to Lead Pre-Conference

When God Chooses a Woman First by Dr. Laura Savage-Rains  This session will give you four keys to confident leadership gleaned from the stories of biblical women who were the first to experience or express God’s most important messages.

Breaking the Leadership Mold:  Embracing Your God-Given Design to Accomplish Your Purpose  by Lisa McClanahan    Lisa will unveil what leadership REALLY is, and challenge you to fulfill your God-given purpose as He specifically designed you.

Leading Scared:  A Biblical Model for Hesitant Leaders by Lynn Cherry   We are not always eager to lead and sometimes the things God asks us to do are so far out of our comfort zone. In this session we'll look at the life of one rather reluctant leader and uncover two things that hold us back and two things that help us move forward with confidence.

Leading the BabyloniansHow to Lead as a Christian Woman in a Secular Environment  by Denise Pierce  This session will help you think through:

  • Whether it’s ever appropriate to talk about your faith in formal settings with your employees/team members
  • Whether it’s appropriate to invite your employees/team members to faith-based activities
  • How to share the good news of the gospel in that community (or not)
  • Whether it’s appropriate to participate in workplace bible studies or other faith-based activities such as communal prayer
  • Whether to pray for your employees/team members and, if so, whether you tell them you are praying for them
  • Whether you need to “say” Jesus in order to “show” Jesus

Panel  ~  Ask your questions during the panel discussion which includes the BRAVE keynote speaker, Nicole Eunice.
