Come Away Weekend

  • Well Spring Retreat Center (map)

Awaken and arise to your true self and purpose in authentic community

Jesus came to give life with joy and abundance, yet the demands and difficulties of our day-to-day lives can often leave us feeling drained, empty, and hiding behind masks and walls that conceal our true self.

Do you desire greater joy and abundance?

Do you desire to walk in greater authenticity and freedom?

Do you long for a place where you can come as you are, be known, accepted, loved, and find a greater sense of belonging?

If so, come join Greater Grounds and Proven Way for this experiential, transformative weekend. Open teaching and conversations will delve into living out our truest self and purpose in authentic community. A spacious rhythm offers time and practices for bringing mind into heart and body, where lasting transformation can take root. We will worship, pray, journal, reflect, and move. Plus, we will share and explore what we are hearing from the One who knows and loves us best!

Come Away to the beautiful Hill Country at the Narrows on the Blanco River, slow down, and intentionally spend time with the One who created you. Surrounded by encouraging and real women, you will walk away feeling restored, inspired and empowered with a renewed sense of your God-given identity and purpose, and a greater sense of clarity of how to live out your part of His story.

From Come Away 2018

"I felt that this weekend was very eye opening and refreshing! It was truly a time to "Come Away" and be in deep connection with God. I felt so refreshed and connected with the Lord over the weekend."

"There was such a strong sense of community among all the women at this retreat! There was a sense of closeness and security that allowed us to share personal experiences. It was so special to celebrate our love for Father God together."

We hope you will join us for Come Away 2019, September 6-8. Register today!

Overflow presents . . . Finding Your Lane

Overflow presents . . . Finding Your Lane

Does this sound familiar to you? A pastor fervently declares, “God has a plan for your life!” “Yes!” you say to yourself. You leave Sunday morning service resolved to go forward with fire anew. Others would stand in awe wondering what your secret was.

I was that person faithfully desiring to live differently. Focused. Intentional.  Embracing God’s plan for me.  But try as I might, frustration would move in as I realized I didn’t have a clue to figuring out His plan for me.   Was it really as simple as go forth and make disciples?  I am fearfully and wonderfully made or not?  How does my uniqueness fit in, Lord?  How do I figure it out?

Join us as we workshop together to discover our individual wiring and how God has already been at work using our one-of-a-kind story to call us into our own lane and when to know we’re in the wrong lane.

Cost:  $50, includes lunch and all materials

REGISTER - Select "Overflow" from the drop down menu under EVENT REGISTRATIONS

BRAVE to Lead Pre-Conference

BRAVE to Lead Pre-Conference

When God Chooses a Woman First by Dr. Laura Savage-Rains  This session will give you four keys to confident leadership gleaned from the stories of biblical women who were the first to experience or express God’s most important messages.

Breaking the Leadership Mold:  Embracing Your God-Given Design to Accomplish Your Purpose  by Lisa McClanahan    Lisa will unveil what leadership REALLY is, and challenge you to fulfill your God-given purpose as He specifically designed you.

Leading Scared:  A Biblical Model for Hesitant Leaders by Lynn Cherry   We are not always eager to lead and sometimes the things God asks us to do are so far out of our comfort zone. In this session we'll look at the life of one rather reluctant leader and uncover two things that hold us back and two things that help us move forward with confidence.

Leading the BabyloniansHow to Lead as a Christian Woman in a Secular Environment  by Denise Pierce  This session will help you think through:

  • Whether it’s ever appropriate to talk about your faith in formal settings with your employees/team members
  • Whether it’s appropriate to invite your employees/team members to faith-based activities
  • How to share the good news of the gospel in that community (or not)
  • Whether it’s appropriate to participate in workplace bible studies or other faith-based activities such as communal prayer
  • Whether to pray for your employees/team members and, if so, whether you tell them you are praying for them
  • Whether you need to “say” Jesus in order to “show” Jesus

Panel  ~  Ask your questions during the panel discussion which includes the BRAVE keynote speaker, Nicole Eunice.
